A bit intriguing. Definitely passes the time (if you're looking for something like that) and since it has 50 free chapters, you get a good grasp of the story to know if its worth unlocking the rest. The lack of world building however is a bit on the concerning side as I barely know anything about the world. I definitely do see the potential in this story as compared to others, it actually does seem like the author is trying and thinks when writing as opposed to the other stories I've seen in this site.
