first - I already said how modern armor protects from maces, impact absorption, they are designed to protect from impact of bullets and slow their velocity, are you saying you can hit harder with a mace than a bullet? second - Why use attribute points to get results from a specific weapon when you can get immediate results from a different weapon, that will only grow stronger with attribute points? third - The concentrated blow makes no sense, the force will disperse no matter what, it's basic physics, also, where are you gonna find a mace tech teacher? it's exactly bcoz of the popularity of the sword over the mace that sword tech teachers are much more common, why struggle to find a mace teacher when you can find a sword teacher just like that? fourth - The simple fact is that swords have more reach than maces, maces need to hit with the head to be effective, you can hit with the shaft, meaning their range of effect is also very less, meanwhile you can cut and slice with the whole blade of a sword, meaning their range of effect is larger, when equally skilled and similar build mace fighter and sword fighter battle, either the sword fighter wins bcoz he kept his range or they both dies bcoz the mace fighter got cut and sliced up trying to get in close to kill the sword fighter.
