That's the problem.

Damien was standing before the weapon rack. He already knew which weapon to pick. Without any hesitation, he chose the dull sword with his right hand.

Because it would be just so very easy to run away from an aristocrat whilst being a normal person.

Nevertheless, It was a pristine blade that sparkled under the moonlight. It was had a simple handle but the blade itself had a name etched on it. It was the name of the blade and it was called "Parting Sun". Ming Yue did not know the meaning of the name and She turned around to assist her father.

(please be aware that I haven't read this book in months) Orpal got his share of the food, just like Lith did. He was stealing extra; from an infant no less. And he was hungry, he wasn't dying of starvation. And he stole his food partially out of spite as well, so the hunger wasn't even the only factor. "what kind of logic is that" XD

"provide no data at all" is a definite understatement. Knowing how much pain the human body can endure would open possibilities for more experiments, that include extreme amounts of pain. (if said limit is fixed for each human body) It would give them the perfect measurements to know when an experiment should be stopped. It's still not ethical though.

Lies. I don't believe he needed them in the first place.

"Of course not! I still need you guys to keep me company and guard me since these guys don't say shit," I said.

Closing my status I start to check my body out. Wait let me rephrase that I start to investigate what has changed about my body. I was about 5'8 and had pale skin, it was the skin of your average Japanese person. It was soft to the touch, unlike my previous human body which was muscular and kind of rough. I only worked out at home with weights and went for jogs in the morning sometimes. My hair was a black color with streaks of yellow in it that were in the shapes of lightning bolts. Feeling my back I had two giant pairs of black wings that were about half the size of my body. I had occasional feathers in random spots and sharp black talons as feet.
