"The 799th Light Pavilion disciple, Zhao Yu has incredible skills. He has hidden wave energy in thirty-six orifices. His sword techniques and single bursts are beyond comparison to what Zhao Dagang has."

My personal nostalgia for Mount and Blade is probably my favorite part of the story. The protagonist's kingdom progresses regularly, but not consistently: repeatedly, he fatally over-extends, only to be saved by random reinforcements. Consequently, the management side of this kingdom management story feels haphazard. Too many unnecessary, redundant passages. Good amount of action.
Congrats on the 100 chapter milestone!
Translators are doing good job, but the quality of the underlying work is mixed. My biggest issue is that all of the MC's interactions with other characters seem perfunctory; each character will say a few words, and then the author will supply a summary of the rest of the conversation (generally concluding that every character was impressed by the MC's insight). Still, many of the characters are given enough space to be charming, and the protagonist progresses in a consistent, coherent way.

Story should just follow around Old Fang
