I found the first chapter of this book to be captivating and well-written. The tension and intrigue are well-crafted and the character Lee is well-developed. The concept of the soulbind is unique and adds an interesting element to the story. The start of the fight scene at the end of the chapter was intense and made me eager to read more. Overall, a great start to the book and I look forward to reading more.
