The focus is more on FL's ability to talk to animals. No one is even questioning her ability. They just sort of accepted that she can do it. System's role is also minimal, it's just there to give her the ability and punish her if she doesn't do the tasks. It's role is also negligible as the story progresses. On the otherhand, there's little to no romance here, which I was looking forward to. Main story and romance is at the end of the story. Romance is even at the extras for the side characters and FL, it's not even a complete romance, they are just on the pursuing stage 😭 I am conflicted because I like how it focuses on reuniting all family. But the filler is just too many. The main story started at 700+ chapters already. That's a long wait really.
Uhm, just to clarify, there is a Chinese expression "random cats or dogs", meaning anything/anyone 'insignificant' or something like that. I think that's what is implied here "I can just stomp on anything". It doesn't really mean that he would stomp on literal cats and dogs.

The author seems to have a lot of idea and mashed it all together in this novel, like every popular troupe is here: rebirth, apocalypse, OP leads, face slapping and such. The pacing is really not helping either, too facepaced for only day 1 of the apocalypse.
I've read just a few chapters and I know it's too early to judge but I am just confused. 6 chapters in and they talk as if the apocalypse has been happening for a while now, maybe months or years. That's the vibe I am getting when reading this. I mean it could apply to the FL, but others? Just why are they talking like that and why are they scrambling to go to FL's hotel to gather supplies instead of going to supermarkets?? Isn't that the first thing to go to when you are running out of supplies? That Shen guy specially. He can go out to kill zombies but says his team is running out of supplies already, at day 1. Their power is already OP from the start. Like the apocalypse came at midnight then boom all is gone, no order immediately then they can immediately use their powers. One more thing is the sudden mention that their world is a book and there's the male and female lead of the book. Where did that suddenly come from? Is that relevant to the plot or are we just adding them to give FL's role a flare? I'm just guessing but if FL is strong enough, she can kill and replace the book protagonists, is that where the story is going? All in all, I like this type of story where protagonists are seen as a hidden boss but is actually just a newbie like the others. But the execution here is just blahh.
I guess it means she's stringing guys along and those who likes her are sort of like fishes in her pond. You will get used to this terms while reading a lot of Chinese novels.
