This is also why I paused my Sheldon Cooper story as a kid at only 15 chapters and it's because I don't know if the chapters of his everyday life will bore readers. Those phases of calm, development and life events are not for everyone.
Also, if the chapters were short because I wrote one every week or more it would take me before I got the courage to continue writing. It was thanks to the requests of one of my followers that I ended up continuing to write this novel. Now with more than 100 chapters and I'm still writing it, there will be variety between the daily life of the ranch and the action that involves the real mafia and Mexican cartels.
What do you expect from a story where most of the things happen in a ranch? What you are reading now is how Dante develops his life on the ranch while he tries to hide his life as a mob leader. Obviously there is a lot more action waiting later when the MC travels to London or before that when the cattle dispute occurs, or much further back when they try to kill John... The chapters that bored you describe Dante's relationship with his family, the ranch and many other things that I am very sorry that you found boring.
