Haven’t read this in a while since I dropped it but he chose to protect her because he didn’t like how she was treated by the main cast during that arc so he stepped in and made himself to be the hero for her and gain some advantage since she comes from a powerful. And then he decided to have actual feelings for her when that was never his primary goal. Plus it’s still weird that a grown man all of sudden falls in love with a kid idc if he’s technically a kid he’s an adult in mind/soul

I think it’d be better to have the story mostly in 3rd person and maybe switch back to 1st person if you need to flesh out a character’s thoughts in a chapter

You could also have tried out hanged man pathway. I feel like everyone always overlooks this broken pathway
What you guys think? A lot of you guessed right about allmighy, and most thought he would become a spectator. BUT, that was the original plan, but as me and my editor worked the skeleton of the overall story I realised I didnt want to write a spectator because early pathways of it are boring, so I changed it to SUN for a variety of reasons.
