Eh, OP mc is not a problem until you make it one. If you do not focus on fights then power of your mc does not matter, at all. Other method that comes to mind, just don't show all of the power, unveil as needed. That way it makes less of an impact on storytelling.
I won't change much. But I'll change the time he spends in One Piece. That wasn't smart. I wrote myself against a corner there. I had something completely different planned acutally. I understand the problem with having a character that is this powerful makes the story suffer if he doesn't have times when he can use that power against stronger opponents. So that will change.

Why, yes. In comic book, Magneto has strange gravity manipulation. I quote: "Magneto's control over the magnetic and electromagnetic force is so refined that he can shut off gravity within a limited radius of himself by reversing the polarity of the earth's own magnetic field". But you see, there is a little problem with this application/explanation of gravity manipulation. If you know basics of General Theory of Relativity(which was proposed by A. Einstein), then you know that Gravity is, i quote: "Gravity not a force, but a consequence of masses moving along geodesic lines in a curved spacetime caused by the uneven distribution of mass. The most extreme example of this curvature of spacetime is a black hole, from which nothing—not even light—can escape once past the black hole's event horizon". You see? How can Magneto manipulate gravity itself with electromagnetism, if gravity is not a force or even a field?
