Together they will stop this unknown force.

No longer the symbol and bringer of freedom, Sonic has become a ruthless, bloodthirsty creature, driven by an insatiable desire to annihilate all life. With his once-loyal companions now the targets of his wrath, the very Mobians he once fought to defend must fight for their survival. With an existential threat beyond anything they have ever encountered, they scramble to mount a desperate resistance against this new enemy and the formidable forces that stand beside him. Forces that include other former allies who've fallen to his wrath. As the world teeters on the brink of destruction, the line between friend and foe is obscured.
