My bet is Sera and Leo eventually beat Zero. Zero summon Immortui as Sera is another celestial. Immortui kills Sera and beats Leo. Leo captured by pure. Leo and Chris bond even more during Leo's imprisonment. When the Dhampires join Pure, Zero tests Erin by asking her to execute Leo to prove loyalty to their cause.
This was all a set up to show how strong Erin is. My guess is she's about to come in and kill everyone with ease.
In my mind, it's like some mad boss armour from a Final Fantasy game haha
The armour then continued up the side of Immortui, leaving his stomach and abs on display. It was only because of his body, chest, and face that he knew he had grey skin, because the rest of his body, including his arms, were covered with this strange material.
