i think the system cheating is well deserved, i wouldn't even call it cheating, its just playing by the anime rules. yuuna always assumed the opponents had the worst possible cards for her znd the most convinient for the opponent and she was right 100% of the time! she has a small boost but they also get the cards they need everytime! why can't they set a brick face down once in a while?
She likes dueling, it's fun, even if she has a clear advantage of meta knowledge and her System's quite cheaty starting hand manipulation. The duel that she had with Edo and Ryo was quite fun, Edo even almost burned her for game too! And even Ryo could have probably beaten her if she hadn't had Domain and Mega Thestalos to pitch his Eltanin.

but i do genuinely like the concept of cards acting different in the anime, usually in these types of fanfics using real world cards puts you at a disadvantage as they mostly have more reasonable effects. so them acting different in the anime is a cool concept
Also a thing to note, there are cards that are different from the counterparts that she remembers. Like Orochi whose each effect was a hard once per turn for only one of them now could activate both at the same turn.
