Nice turn of events 😂 First plot twist was that I did not expect Shuang to enter the scene catching Yue off gaurd. I had expected it to be Wu itself.🤔 But Wu came at the wrong moment catching them standing so intimately close to each other lol. 💀💕🤐😂 Also the character development of Shuang is neatly written! Well done author! ! Loved the steamy interactions! 🔥🖤

The heartbeat of a scared rabbit running away from its prey and Yue's in the immediate moment was entirely akin. With a sudden switch of expression to being serious and ludic as he locked his seductive gaze with her innocent ones, he moved his other arm around her head.

"So can I look forward to seeing you at the Palace?" as he stood straight in front her, letting go of her held hand, she realised how tall he was. Though he had a undisturbed and peaceful aura around him, being intimidated by a man over 6 feet was evidently reasonable.

"It's alright. I'm sure it'll recover sooner than you think." his tone was imperatively calm and soothing to the ears, Yue found it extremely difficult to not compare him to Wu, whose reaction to her 'silly actions' was to demoralise her even further.
