People got to stop seeing the "people" in this novel as "characters" and instead as actual people. Seeing them as characters normally works because, I'm sure we can all agree, most of the "novels" on this app aren't that good. Characters are shallow, mediocre story, and endless plot armor, but I can see why because as soon as they try adding depth to the situation it's like everyone clocks out.
