This makes complete sense. After breaking apart his soul into six pieces, dying and transforming into a half living half dead thing. Possesses a professor. dies again. Somehow, he finds his way back to the forest. as a Deformed baby thing still has the power to crush his mind with a thought. It makes complete sense when you think about it.

Makes story altering decisions, then gets depressed because he's not participating in the story because he doesn't want to change the story. "Things might change." Like~ Ron not breaking his wand so when Lockhart gets it at the end.He removes the memory from Harry and Ron. Then leaves like he says so Genny dies and Voldemort as a younger kid, resurrects. At least he got rid of Lockhart first.
