Man so many haters on such a minor thing such as teaching a simple jutsu. If it was a big deal the mc wouldn’t have told him anything. Danzo can’t just come into clans asking why a member knows a certain jutsu from another clan and where it came from lol. Not only that but satoshi is the heir he’s politically protected. Although danzo coming after another yamanaka such as taro to get to satoshi isn’t out of the question 😈
Because why not? Why should Shisui teach Itachi sleight of hand? Becuase he is a future comrade, friend and fellow genius.

Think of it like what his body is naturally adept at off that bat. He starts with higher stats there. But I get what you mean. It’s kinda pointless in the end. But to sum it up he will just have an easier time getting started with jutsu than say physical skills ie: taijutsu or shurkenjutsu.
I didn't need to deliberate long. "Mage" was the obvious choice for the build I had in mind. Chakra mastery, jutsu creation, and strategic thinking were all key components of my plan. Plus, with Limit Breaker, I should be able to refine every single jutsu to its highest possible form.
