Geez Richard is showing more emotional development in less than a year than my husband has in 20.
That finally made the man stand down and he said he would see Laney once she was out of the hospital. It wasn't Richard's place to say anything but he really didn't want her to see him anymore.

My grandmother always said stress made the mom’s milk sour. So there’s another reason to lessen her stress.

My son was 9 lbs. 23” long. Not exactly tiny in baby terms lol
Karina was the smallest person Richard had ever seen but she had a surprising amount of dark hair considering her size. She was wrinkled and red but Laney was looking at her like she was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Richard noticed on the rare occasions he did see her and was concerned. He looked up a bunch of articles on how to deal with feeling hotter during pregnancy and made sure she had whatever products could potentially help readily available.

If he was a bad person who took advantage of his employees in desperate situations, he had no place being in a position of power. She was going to have to have Collin look into it to prevent this sort of thing from happening to anyone else.

Elle was shocked how much she loved the house when they did the final walkthrough. Really. She hadn't expected her father-in-law to be able to tone it down and stick to their specifications at all.
