Let's go, I try to write with a touch of realism, although it's not ideal considering that it's a work of fiction and fantasy elements are ideal, it's my style, I think, and putting myself in the MC's shoes, I imagine that even if I have an idea of what should be done, the process would be a mystery and I wouldn't be able to achieve success in a task that involves several factors without guidance. I wanted to convey the idea that he was being naive. He wasn't thinking about the circumstances and ignored what wasn't convenient, and when he was selected for a mission that he found repugnant, he was hit by reality and some of his fantasies were shattered. It's part of the plot, in the original series the Tuffles were exterminated, in the fanfic I added some layers of realism, I reasoned and thought it made sense that the Tuffles were not completely annihilated, but rather assimilated in a way analogous to what the Spanish did in the Americas, another point is if the Tuffle hybrids were powerful, would it make sense for them to be decimated? Also, if the hybrids were guaranteed to be super powerful like the Saiyan-Earthling hybrids, Freeza would destroy the planet even faster or perhaps the Saiyans themselves would have already self-destructed.
