“Happy Christmas Eve!” chuckled the old man as he strapped a watch around Misha’s wrist. “Have a nice trip.” The next morning, the 25-year-old Misha woke up with a pounding headache, sore muscles, and strong nausea. In short, the perfect hangover. But when he saw his reflection in the mirror, he soon realized that the pain wasn’t caused by the terrifying amount of alcohol he had drunk the previous day. His body had shrunk. A lot. He didn’t have the time to think too much about it since his mother suddenly erupted in his room - the next day, his sister did the same thing. Mother and sister who had died a long time ago. The old man wasn't crazy. As he had predicted, Misha did travel back in time, just before losing his loved ones. And so, Misha had now one mission: changing the dreadful fate of his mother and sister and sending away his sister’s boyfriend by all means. They had to break up! Like it or not, that man will bring disaster to the family sooner or later. This time, Misha wouldn't fall for that warm smile and those gentle eyes as he knew they were hiding a cold, insensitive personality. However, things weren’t as simple as he thought, and perhaps the sister’s boyfriend was not the enemy. Liam’s death was rather sudden, but not unexpected. That’s what happens when you cross the road without looking left and right. Then, he met the Grim Reaper, who told him that Heaven and Hell were overcrowded; neither could accommodate his soul, and he had to wait for at least a millennium before a spot becomes available. Upon hearing this, Liam almost fainted out of anger; no sane person would want to spend so much time with that poker face! Luckily, the Grim Reaper came up with an idea, suggesting that Liam transmigrate into different kinds of books to pass the time. However, the young man kept on dying within the first days following his transmigration. He looked so pitiful that even the Grim Reaper couldn’t help but sigh. In the end, he decided to send him to a world set in an MMORPG, hoping that he would survive a bit longer in the world of a game. There was just one small problem. A newcomer, who couldn’t overcome his death, made everything go down the drain, and the Grim Reaper ended up following Liam into the MMORPG. While he was at it, he also lost all of his power, becoming as weak as a chicken. And to make matters worse, if Liam dies this time, his soul will break and disappear, leaving nothing but dust behind. For someone that kept on dying all the time, staying alive is quite a difficult task in a world filled with danger and idiots, even more so when they are level one.

Shi’an glanced at the man who was lying on the ground, half-dead. Then, he lifted his head and looked into his sister's eyes. With a wry smile, he asked, “Don’t you know what ‘low-key’ means?” Mo’an raised an eyebrow. “He’s not dead. It’s a pretty good start?” Shi’an felt his mouth twitching. It hadn’t been long since their arrival at the military academy, and this little sister of his already stirred up trouble. “Then, do you remember that you promised mom to hide your ability and keep it below average?” Tilting her head, Mo’an mumbled, “But I didn’t use much force to bring him down. Anyway, he was just terribly weak.” “Weak or not, that was still a high-ranking officer.” “He was?” “Yes.” “Oh...” Mo’an bit her lips, sneaking a glance at the half-dead officer. There were only two things she had to be careful of, and yet she already screwed one. First, she had to stay low-key and not draw attention to her. Otherwise, the army certainly wouldn’t let her go home after her military service ended, not with her monstrous potential. Second, she had to hide her gender. If someone discovered that she was a girl pretending to be a boy, she and her tribe would have to pay a heavy price. After all, the tribal chief’s daughter had to be sent to the Emperor’s courtyard, not to the military!
