I mean they look similar in the anime but that was something the studio did on purpose in the manga they look nothing a like at least IMO though I know someone will say they do reguardless

Personally I’m not a huge fan or non multiverse mashing together powers from other power systems unless they can be believably included into the world. But for something like one piece I can say that’s a stronger belief there are so many skills in one piece that could be expanded on using a gamer system all the different martial arts not just the marine styles
The One Piece Gamer Path fic I plan to have the MC solely focus on developing on his skills without relying on Devil Fruits but I wasn't sure if you guys liked how the MC gains different skills or powers from other series through his own means. Like Hamon from Jojo, Breathing Style from Demon Slayer, Mugetsu-Style from Fairy Tail, Alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist and etc.
