i followed the book when it was just coming out, pushed it to the back burner and only started reading it half a year later. but i am happy that i read this, it may not be the best story but i could become invested and actually believe that i could be in the same world. i wish it didn't end so soon, and i wish for Roland's story to continue, i wish to "see" the top mage fly a giant city into the heart of his enemies and bring more logic into the world of illogical magic. and i hope he crashes and burns for becoming a harem protagonist, that put even the dual wielding swordsman to shame.
