I agree. Most of those dark lonely emo edge lords don't deserve to be the male lead or the main character. The reason they are popular is because most of the audience wishes that they could be that unrestrained and tyrannical. This makes it easier for them to project their own desires onto the MC. Most people are fully aware that they could not live and maintain themselves as a truely good guy because they are all too aware of their own dark side. They may think that being the good guy hero would be nice but the thought of having to be the good guy all the time is a bit stifling and subconsciously frightening. Persevering as the good guy is difficult while knowing the the world in general and all your enemies are going to take advantage of you. This is why those good guys often seem dense clueless and/or down right dumb. Besides it is much easier to remain a good guy if your mental faculties are a bit lacking. It's a bit pessimistic but realistic considering human nature. I can only praise those who are intelligent insightful and are still able to maintain themselves as a good guy. It is refreshing to see someone like that as a ML/MC. I just wish there were a few more novels like that targeted at men (but not BL or transgender stuff). Unfortunately novels like that don't get written because it is not popular enough to earn money. I like this male lead and hope he can maintain this personality.

Well this is just my opinion but being a girl doesn't make it less enjoyable. I suspect that you are a bit naive and sheltered so it is no surprise that you were just doing it wrong. Once you become more aware that as a girl you need to do that a little bit differently, then you will find it to be more enjoyable. It's okay if you don't understand it now. You probably will when you are older.

What does MP actually mean? I know many would say magic points or mana points there has been no indication of "magic" so far. Could it mean something different? For example...Music Points? Just wondering why this stat exists with no clear indication of its purpose.
