I don't think I agree because if you notice: the time when Lillian realizes that she is in love with Giselle was during the prom. All the while before that, she had this feeling of being overprotective towards Giselle. So, sometimes, she let her feelings out. But it was tricky since she couldn't completely realize if she was in love or not. So, the first person Lilly ever told was Anna. And Anna was supportive. So, Lilly blindly revealed that she was going to confess. Diego reacts by going behind Lilly's back and threatening Giselle to leave. In the present, Diego tries to intimidate Giselle. So, the only time Lilly realizes was when she overhears Shane and Giselle talking. Also, according to Lilly, Diego was that friend who always hated Lillian dating women. She knew he didn't like it and that thought became more visible when Giselle returned. Also, she accepts his perspective it since it's his opinion. Now, their friendship could have ended long back. But, Diego never let it happen. Even though he hated Lillian for dating women, he still would spend time with her because he thought she would eventually get over this whole 'missing Giselle' phase. So, I don't agree that Lillian is a fool. Also, Lillian has been friends with Anna and Diego since they were young. So, it doesn't mean that they all share similar thoughts. Everyone has their opinion, right? Anna could be so heavily opinioned sometimes or even rude. Lillian assumed Diego disliked her love for Giselle. She could have cut his friendship if Diego had shown his hatred visibly whenever he was with Lillian. But he didn't. He kept his silence and endured. I hope I clarified!

Hello, dear new reader! First of all, thanks for giving this novel a chance. I appreciate it! And yeah, this is my first novel, so I made a lot of grammatical mistakes and also with the whole creative writing. Well, it's a process. I made mistake and I am learning as I keep writing this story. I did realize late about the past and present tenses. I felt so stupid, but it's okay. Because you can always learn!
