Thanks for the chapter. I want him to continue walking his own path instead of being caught up and becoming a part of Rudeas’ story. I noticed that the clock has run out to improve his mana but it seems like he’s done all right. One thing I have noticed is that he has endless amounts of brilliant ideas and innovations in mind for inventions, magic, and battle aura. However, when it comes to the sword styles or martial arts he practices he has nothing new to add or to improve the physical techniques of this world aside from combining some grappling.

Great chapter, but when is he going to tell his team he is an irregular. He seems to trust them and it’s too big a secret to keep. Eventually its going to come out and as regulars who helped him climb the tower his friends are going to suffer the consequences. Maybe even their families they left behind in the outer tower. And now that we know Rachel knows his secret she’s certainly going to use it. It’s best he tells them as soon as possible before she uses it against them in the worst ways. They should get to make the choice to keep climbing the tower with him.

I like the fact that you never gave the MC any overpowered abilities from the nasuverse. Instead you gave him much simpler auxiliary or supplemental abilities and techniques that can help him overcome his limits by improving his potential. Meaning he will have to rely primarily on his hard work and ingenuity on how to develop and apply his gifts to reach the top rather than an over the type plot breaking power that sucks the fun out of stories like this. He also has to go out into the world an obtain and create his own knowledge, techniques, skills, to develop his own path/style rather than being “babied” by his system and given everything. Not only that instead of magecraft which would never fit with DXD power logic you chose pieces of two other disciplines that have arguably as much potential that would fit. No one the secrets and how to develop the human body like the alchemists of Atlas. The martial arts in the nasuverse are also broken and those at the highest level can surpass magecraft and touch the root. Miyamoto Musashi, Yagyuu Munenori, Sasaki Kojiro, and Houzouin Inshun are great examples. Even Okita Souji Alter with her pinnacle movement technique furthest earth evolved from reduced earth became a long dimension leaping technique. But breathing and walking is something I always interested in especially when I found out natural born users can accomplish phenomena greater than magecraft with no training but unfortunately there’s no character with the skill. Anyway, thanks for the chapter.

I’m kinda disappointed. I never thought him a saint but I didn’t think he’d break bad on a whole bunch of innocents.

Thanks for the chapter. I don’t really understand the main character’s personality. It’s like he completely lacks self awareness at times unable to understand his own actions. As it stands he has no tangible drive aside from revenge thats no longer possible. I think before anything else his character needs to be more fleshed to help readers understand what kind of person he is and explain his decisions.

Hey thanks for the chap but I’m pretty confused about a few things. First how exactly did he defeat Zabuza he seemed to have used a powerful genjutsu but I’m not sure how or what it was or why it was never mentioned he trained any genjutsu. Secondly does he gain any physical enhancements from his stat page? I think it only gives him knowledge, experience, enlightenments/memories but then his physical training menu doesn’t compare to a pre genin rock lee so how can he support one piece sword techniques. Lastly he said he wouldn’t be a copy cat and would pioneer his own sword style but hasn’t gone into any detail about that.

I keep waiting for the moment Naruto changes and evolves as a person. I think I most disappointed in his future self though. His one advantage over his canon self isn’t cutting it. Naruto isn’t the smartest or the most talented character to begin with and his years at the academy which were supposed to give him a first rate education and training that would become his foundation completely failed him. Add that to his status as an orphaned jinchuriki and you get a loud mouthed immature idiot with severe emotional problems. In short he can be said to be inferior in countless ways to the average academy students and has to play catch up.

Nice chapter. I hope he gets to hone his sword skills in this dungeon against a samurai. The anbu Cat once asserted that while he’d never be gods gift to swordsmanship he was okay. Naturally I was interested, because a general lack of aptitude was always a major issue for him. So his Kenjutsu skills can act like a case study to see if his system can help him overcome that weakness.

Great fanfic. I got a question. I got interested in the whole sword incarnate thing, I looked it up and I found that the only reason Shiro possessed that was because he had Sabers sheath inside of him. Having sword as his element and origin was a strength that he used as a basis to overcome his mediocre aptitude for magecraft and surpass his limits by creating unlimited blade works along with decades of training and upgrade from the ‘world’ when he name a counterguardian. It always seemed strange that he used his element and origin to surpass his limits as a mage and not as a warrior. Martial arts in typemoon has proven able to surpass magecraft after all. For example Sasaki Kojiro whose performed a skill only thought possible with true magic or Miyamoto Musashi who cuts even concepts with her skill. Those born with the concept of breathing and walking can reproduce greater Mysteries than the Magi without knowing anything about Magecraft. Or Okita alters movement technique furthest earth that allows her to dimension hope. I assumed his affinity for swords meant he’d be able to pioneer his own skills into the realm of the gods like those mentioned. It never made sense that copying downgraded skills through his magecrafts was his limit.
