Sealing was complicated work, all right? I spent a lot of time working on Riser's seal, if you mess up or overlook a part of a seal the enemy can break out of it without too much problem. So right now I was in my studying in my study while 3 tripletasking.

Kakashi actually had way higher than average chakra, but his sharingan being constantly active drained pretty much set his maximum to like 40-50%
He couldn't compare to people like Jiraiya or the Raikage, but his reserves were much higher than those of someone like Kakashi.

Sage mode ain’t really refinement, I get where you’re coming from, but the original argument is that “Chakra refinement” isnt a thing in Naruto and since sage mode is sensing then absorbing an outside energy source then finding the right mix of chakra and natural energy to enter sage mode for a limited amount of time it’s closer to a normal shonen power up.
