I love the fact that I NEVER thought we would see Ves and Master Willix collaborating on a design that breaks taboos like this. She seemed so upright at first. For a while there she seemed like such a conservative Survivalist, but it makes sense that she’d care about her own survival as well once she gets roped into something!
Long term motivation for them though. Once they’re both Star Designers they’ll be able to coordinate on their ends like the Witch and Empress.
The current Oblivion Gates were especially designed to function with the powers and abilities commanded by the Oblivion Empress and the Evolution Witch.

I’m so not surprised to see how inspired a lot of these Larkinsons are to explore cultivation, but I’ definitely excited to see what they come up with and what their affinities are!
