Paladin mech would be a nice concept. Instead of a normal defensive knight mech you could shove a priest/mech pilot hybrid in there and he could buff ranged/melee mech whilst protecting them. Also you could shove priests in support mechs and have them buff people as well.

Should change Jannzi’s mech to a defensive support mech as well so she can actually sheild othe people from distance. Get Master Vayro Goldstein in on it as well. Then they can try form three fleets when she becomes an ace pilot. Bastion/Amaranto, First Sword/Minerva, and Dark Zephyr/Prometheus. Those parings are quite synergistic and cover a lot of bases in my opinion while also being moderately swappable with being able to swap the melee and ranged mechs in each pairing. So for example for maximum defence you could pair Bastion/Minerva. Allowing for Amaranto/First Sword for maximum offence.
