This is a really good start; great writing quality, interesting character choice, ATLA plus a gamer. Really well done so far, and I'm glad he's an earthbender. Don't see that often on its own that isn't just a Toph clone and you already seem to be taking it in your own direction. Great job, please keep it up.

If you like Buddha's Palm but want more actual buddhist you'll like this novel. So far a great read and setting up an interesting future-------------------

Great start to a story, real chapter are a good length and well written. I love the setting and can't wait to see were you take it. Would like to see Rosalie's POV on the beginning of this, to explain the background for this AU and her reaction to Leo.

I feel like those officers should be more interested in why the 8 year old is working instead of in school than how busy it is. Is anyone going to talk about child labor or call the cops or something? Age him to 16 and this whole story works a lot better. Good though.
