Honestly at first I was ready to write off the entire story because of all the cliches at the beginning and the premise of the story seemed like it would be a bore. HOWEVER, after reading it more what I discovered I liked was the actual writing and descriptions of the fight scenes. I do not know if this is attributed to the author or the translator, but the fighting scenes in this game are exceptional and give me a similar feel to the epic fight scenes in Way of the Devil (which unfortunately qidian stopped updating).
