The two adorning the sides of her head were ordinary, at least by human standards, but she also had a pair of vestigial, jackal-like ears protruding from her crown, contrasting her twin brother, who only possessed human ears.

The world Tatsumi was from, based on an anime called Akame ga Kill, was undoubtedly one of the more unpleasant settings he had observed. The action sequences and plot were good, but the themes were dark, and nearly every central character introduced was dead by the end of the first season...

The incident that had transpired that night was bound to affect all of them, but none more so than Vahn. A new member had been added to Rias's Peerage, and while that wasn't anything bad in and of itself, the boy, Hyoudou Issei, had required eight Pawns to be rescued from his imminent demise and reincarnated as a Devil. This resulted in his Spirit Energy and life force becoming irregular, so while she was apprehensive due to how it might affect her relationship with Vahn if he found out, Rias was currently cradling their newest member in his bed, completely naked as she did her best to stabilize the tumultuous energy in his body...
