my grand ma used to smoke until her late 70s now she's 98yrs old ahahahhaha still walking and have a sharp mind still remember the name of every grand children the only problem is her hearing ability starting to decline.

Surely if she knew of the health risks associated with smoking, the woman would demand he stop. But because it would be many years before such a discovery was made, let alone became public knowledge, she simply treated it as if it were a normal thing.

When this was said, all eyes turned to Bruno. After all, with the rumors they had heard of the young upstart, they figured he would be a far more menacing figure. But Bruno was a rather refined young man. His facial features were handsome and noble. Even his dueling scar was far from as menacing as others in his class wore with pride.

i agree and also there are so many politicians who steal money that supposed to be for medical, infrastructure and agricultural purpose yet when they get sentence only jailtime with a chance of pardon if they happen to be in the good book of the next president. those kind of criminal should be publicly executed and strip away all thier wealth from the day they serve.
They lived in a state of illusion, one of their own making where they believed that people were generally good, and that evil could be reasoned with, and changed. And in this state of naivety and outright stupidity, they convinced themselves that justice served the purpose of rehabilitating a criminal after he had been convicted of violating the law.
