After I woke up I asked Nicole for how long I was asleep, she told me she never realized I was asleep. It was mean, because does that mean that I look so ugly everyday. I thought I looked cute or just like a normal human being. It's sad really. But the good thing is that it seems our teacher didn't notice, she probably thought I was just lying on my desk. 
"did you do the reading" she asks out of nowhere. 
"wait what, we had reading to do?!" om shocked I think I forgot about it completely. 
"oh my gosh I can't believe you forgot about it, she'll kill you if you can't answer the questions." she laughs a little as she pats my shoulders as if I were crying. 
"shit, and that's the thing I'm already failing those quizzes. Like at least with those quizzes I read some of it." I say sighing, I never really read any of the books she assigned. I would either read a summary of the chapter online or do nothing. 
"go listen to the audio book, I mean we have a period before class." she says, as she pulls out her headphones to hand me one. I receive before popping it in my ear. 
"Do you have, audible or are you going to use YouTube?"
"YouTube, I don't really use audiobooks that often so YouTube is enough. Listen to it during class." she says standing up from the stairs. 
"thanks Dana." I thank her as I follow her out the stairway and into the hall. I'm glad she reminded me of the book if not I would have forgotten about the test and reading.

Hello how are you
Let me introduce myself I am the Author of this book (reflections). This book will mainly deal with my "Reflections" and Opinions on various topics.
I started this book because I want to practice my writing and one day become an Author and make a living writing books.
I have had many thoughts and ideas; to write my own Original books. But when I sit in front of the computer I go blank
So I thought about writing a fanfic, to practice my writing, but still, I was left blank. Despite also having many ideas and story and character development. I was blank; I did not know what to write or how to put my thoughts into words.
Then one night I got the idea to write a book about my thoughts.
And so this book was born.
I decided that the first chapter would be a presentation:
To begin, I want to say that I am: a Christian, I was born in a Christian home and raised in a Christian family.
I believe that God created the Universe and everything in it.
I also think and believe that everything happens because HE allows it to happen; if "good or bad" things happen.
I really like Anime; I started watching Anime at 12 years old. The first one I saw I saw it from YouTube on my cell phone. The first anime I saw was; Rurouni kenshin or (samurai X), I saw him until the fight with Shishio, after that fight it seemed to me that he lost quality and I didn't see him again.
The second anime that I also saw from YouTube on my cell phone was Medabots. I saw all the chapters.
Later I saw inuyasha but I left him because he bothered me with inuyasha. I don't remember the reason, but it did bother me a lot XD.
Then I saw Ranma ½ that anime I liked a lot. I was surprised to learn that it was the same Author as inuyasha. I saw all the chapters. The movie and the 14 ovas. But I haven't read the manga yet.
I started looking for animes in Latin Spanish and I found Kenichi. I watched all the chapters of the anime. and some time after reading a post on Facebook an image where he posted where the anime ended to continue it in the manga. I read all the chapters of the manga
About ½ after seeing Ranma, a relative loaned us his laptop. (The reason I was watching anime with the phone was because it had no speakers and it had outdated audio drivers and I didn't know anything. I thought I had a faulty audio card, but not that it had outdated drivers. I found out in 2019. all the time thinking it was the audio card but it was the drivers when I found out I was feeling stupid and ashamed of my ignorance).

As I was saying after my relative loaned us the laptop, I started watching anime on animeflv.
There I found To Love Ru, an anime that became my favorite for a long time. I liked the comedy and how the characters interacted, as well as the personality of the protagonist. And I think it's an excellent anime (it's one of those guilty tastes that I have). But if there's one thing I have to say that I didn't like it was the excess of ecchi and fanservice on the part of the authors and I think this really hurts the job. Because it's as if the authors thought more about pleasing the readers than developing the characters and the story.
Then I saw Soul Eater, Rosario + Vampire, Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and many other anime.
 (One Piece I saw almost 700 chapters without audio I stayed where Luffy defeats Doflamingo).
Since my computer had no audio, I started reading manga. I read them on TumangaOnline. That's when I read Kenichi, Rosario + Vampire, Re Monter. That's where I read the Manhua from Tales of Demos And Gods. In the comments I saw that someone commented that he had a novel and I liked it so much that I looked for it and that is how I started reading web novels.
 
I don't like watching sports on television. I find them very boring.
I like to exercise, although I am very lazy, (but it is not entirely my fault since I was born tired, after I was born the doctor had to pat me to cry) so sometimes or almost always I don't. (TT_TT)
I graduated from Bachiller of Science at the age of 15. and a few months later I passed the introductory course to study medicine. (Premedical).
And at 16 and a few months I started college. But I didn't make an effort to study, and as expected I ended up losing the year. And if he failed the last quarterly exam he ran the risk of being expelled, so requesting a temporary withdrawal from the university "accused of family problems."
As the new school term begins, I started with a slightly more focused and serious mindset. Two months after starting and being close to the first trimester exam. The teacher in charge of my year calls me and tells me that that year I cannot attend the school year, due to the withdrawal request that I had previously requested, that I had to wait at least one year before I could resume my studies.
After that I became very depressed.
After about 6 months had passed, my mother told me if she wanted to study education at another university. She told me that a friend told her that the introductory course was about to start and that few people signed up, and she asked me if I wanted to sign up. and I answered yes.
I passed the introductory with a high mark and started my first semester in the College of Education.
It goes without saying that history repeated itself, started the semester motivated but that motivation was gradually lost. Mainly because he had many free hours, due to the lack of teachers, who had left the country.
I finished spending the semester, (With some subjects postponed), but I had already lost the desire to continue so I did not continue attending.
 
It has been almost 5 or 6 years since I graduated from high school and I have not done anything with my life, I do not study and I do not work becoming a holder of the Neet Title.
Sometimes I wonder how my parents feel about me, they feel Disappointed. Annoying or perhaps proud, but how would they feel proud of me, if I have not done anything I have not achieved anything.
To be honest at this age I already saw myself as a successful person with a home of my own. Independent, and that I would have bought my parents a house on the beach. That I know, they would be proud of me, and I could take care of them.
Not like I am right now, the misguided and disappointing stereotype of an otaku.
But I don't want to continue as I am now. I want to be better. Beat myself.
 
That's why I want to be an Author making a living with what I like, writing novels, writing and exploring fantasy worlds, making people happy with my stories.

I wanted to write a book, but when I sat in front of the computer I was left blank and did not know what to write or how to write it, although I have many ideas and developments, I did not know how to translate. my ideas.
Then I came up with the idea to write a book about my thoughts and opinions on various topics. To practice my writing in that way.
I am Latin American and my mother tongue and the only language I know is Spanish.
I write the chapters in Spanish and translate them with the google translator. That is why I ask for your patience and tolerance to forgive my spelling mistakes.

Now that I feel as though I did enough studying (which I probably didn't), I thought it was time that I started finding some things to get my hands dirty with. But what do I start with? Do I start with the basics or do I learn the basics as I try to do something more advanced? Why not both?

When you think of a mage, who do you think of? Constantine? Dr. Strange? Gandalf? Harry Potter, maybe? Personally, I kinda prefer the image of Constantine since he seems more realistic. So I thought okay well, how would one interact with the spirit realm? I don't seem to possess any psychic abilities that will help me see in the spiritual realm nor can I travel to the astral realm, and both seem like quite necessary skills to have as a mage so why not make those my end goals?

During my weekend of learning how to help victims of ritual abuse, I learned that time flows differently in the astral realm. So I thought, maybe if I can learn how to travel in the astral realm then maybe I can go back in time and somehow find a way to protect my mom from the abuse she had to needlessly suffer as a child. It seemed simple enough in my head.

So now that I had my end goal in mind, it was time to find a way to reach it. I started reading up on astral travel. I read books and web sites. I watched YouTube videos. Pretty much anything I could get my hands on, except for things that didn't quite seemed logical. As a rule, I tried avoiding anything new age. So, if I saw even one mention of crystals I ran.

In one of the books I read, I found a "simple" technique to achieve astral travel. It involved recording a guided meditation audio, to help me relax, and then after I was relaxed I had to slowly work on disconnecting my astral body from my physical one. I asked the girl I liked to record the audio for me because what's more calming than the voice of the person you had a crush on? So one evening I waited till everyone in my family was asleep (because my parents would definitely not approve of my new hobby), I put my pillow on the ground, got my earphones and lay on my back. I did this on the floor because I didn't want to fall asleep. I merely wanted to be in a relaxed state. I listened to the guided meditation and then proceded to disconnecting my astral body from my physical body. I started with my hands and tried to move my astral hands without moving my physical hands. Not sure how long that lasted but I ended up falling asleep. I retried the same technique a few times, all with the same results.

I eventually stumbled upon a hypnosis audio on YouTube that claims to be able to help achieve astral travel with no work from my side. So I figure, hell why not? What's the worst that could happen? So that evening I again waited till everyone in my family was asleep, I put my pillow on the ground, got my earphones and lay on my back. As I listened to the track I started getting the sensation of my head sinking back into my pillow and my body sinking into the floor. THIS WAS GREAT! Finally, I was starting to get somewhere. Sadly my excitement kinda broke the relaxed state and thus I decided to call it a night. After skipping one night I tried again in the same way as before. This time I didn't experience any sinking sensation but rather it was as though someone was shining a light in my face, although when I opened my eyes there was no one there, and yet when my eyes are closed I saw pretty much only white. This was alarming because my room was pitch black with no light from the street lamps shining in. Sadly I got too excited again and broke meditation again. I tried using this method again on a few other occasions but my excitement kept getting the best of me.

This was not working, I need to learn some self-control.

you want to connect with. eg. if u choose this reality's amino, you can then browse it from your wr/dr.

any world i visualize or describe and insert to lifa (visualizing is inserted by wearing the lifa crown) is opened by the portal. it is similar to the really shifting feature, but it doesn't have a limited amount of time nor is it permanent. to travel to another world while being in a different world, think about where you
wanna go and tap twice on the left side of your head. the portal will spawn and take you to where you wanted and even better. * or you can simply think/choose where to go and click to travel to your destination. to travel back say "i want to go back to my mr/wr" and the portal will automatically safely take you there. * you can also simply click to travel back on the lifa app. this feature includes a menu of portals and world within them. eg. you have a portal door in your wr, lifa will automatically detect it, and you can add as many worlds/realities/places you desire. by clicking which portal, it will show the list of places.

you visualize or think where you want to go whilst pressing the (teleport where) button, and lifa takes you there in 1 second.
from 3rd p. perspective, your body will glow white and quickly fade. from 1st p. perspective, you will simply see a white glow that quickly fades once arrive on your destination. you can choose whether or not anyone remembers. if you choose for no one to witness/remember your your teleportation, everyone 3km around you will think they never saw you. cctv cameras will glitch the exact moment you teleport.

 only available for meeting/waiting rooms. with room design you can build your waiting room similar to the sims 4, but with realistic graphics (100% similar to real life) you can insert various images of rooms (eg. pinterest, weheartit) and choose which type of room they'd be (bedroom, bathroom, etc).lifa will automatically generate the room in 3d and you can adjust the position of each object and you can add more objects. you can insert pictures of items and furnitures to convert it to a 3d object in the app, so that you can add it to the room. lifa offers more than 50,000 objects and 1,000 houses for you to choose from 50% of them according to your aesthetic (lifa will automatically know what aesthetic you have), but similar to the sims, you can download custom objects and houses from the lifa wr/dr house store (free btw). you can make custom objects by visualizing them with the lifa crown on, or by describing them (color, aesthetic, etc), or by drawing them (no drawing skills needed as lifa is connected to your subconscious). you can simply describe the aesthetic of your waiting room and insert pictures with your desired theme (doesnt have to be house pictures) and lifa will generate your waiting room according to it. you can choose anything from lighting to wallpaper and flooring (its basically the sims 4's build mode but 1 trillion times better). when you click save, it will save your wr to your gallery, and then you can click "import" to transform your waiting room. you will go unconscious for 2 seconds
and you will wake up to your designed room.

In the eyes of everyone, she was a genius because she could draw and paint like a professional artist, sing like a singer, play more than five different musical instruments, dance like a fairy, and even sculpt amazing things. 
But she was not born with talent in every one of those fields. She developed them with practice and training. 
She learned from videos on the Internet and from private lessons when it came to music. It took her years of training before she could draw passable drawings because she was actually really bad at it. The same went for painting. But sculpting was something that she was still working on until now. Dancing became natural with time and she was proud to become a versatile dancer after a lot of practice alone in her bedroom. 
Music was the only thing that could really be considered her talent. She was, in fact, a born musician. She very much enjoyed taking lessons and learning about other instruments. At the young age of 12, she started composing her own music and writing her own songs. By the time she finished middle school, she was already the author of hundreds of complete songs. 
Later on, her music teacher managed to convince her to share her music on the Internet, which led to Melody, her youtube channel. She started to share her songs in audio versions because she didn't want to be a public figure, but she never dreamed that her songs would actually become famous in no time. 
By the time Anya graduated from High school, Melody was extremely famous and her songs were even all adapted to karaoke, or lyrics versions. Melody even became the channel with the most subscribers on youtube, hitting the hundreds of millions. Its videos also made billions of views for the most popular.

Well, what has to be done as being done, the video for the song has been shot.....not only that, it has been edited also. After the video shoot, it got edited the next day, and was released that same day alongside its audio song. Mark was very anxious, yeah, he was immensely nervous, would the song blow up? Ben, Dylan, and Jeffrey were anxious also due to the same reason.....was the song gonna rise Mark to stardom?

You know, that song was a very unique song to listen to, it isn't an easy task for a male singer to display his nice vocals and also rap in the same song, especially if he hasn't tried rapping before. Dylan taught Mark the techniques of rapping, and within some time of the coaching, Mark grasped the techniques of rapping.....not to its fullest though.

He fumbled at his words at the onset of his rapping, but when he gave it a second try, he nailed it perfectly, he rapped fluently, he blended singing and rapping flawlessly. That's the work that was put into making and recording that song, that's one of the reasons why it's a unique song. The song and its music video have been released, would it blow up? would it rise Mark to stardom? The stuff he did to fit into the style of a rapper, the chains he wore on his neck, and the rings he wore on his fingers, would they work out?.

Mark went straight to his apartment after the release of the song and video. A lot was on his mind, you know, the normal blowing up stuff and all that. He was really nervous, Dylan had spent a lot of money already, why can't their efforts just be fruitful? was the karma following him that strong? 

Mark entered his apartment, and the first thing he did was to take off the green designer shirt he wore flinging it on one of his couches. He was left in the harmless white t-shirt he wore inside, black jean trousers, and sneakers. He took off the sneakers from his feet placing them properly on his shoe cupboard. After that, he entered his room and landed on his bed backwardly. He didn't doze up while laying on his bed, he wasn't feeling sleepy at all though it was getting very close to complete nighttime.....a person with so many thoughts on his mind wouldn't feel drowsy easily.

He wanted to check the number of streams the song had already gathered within the hours of its release on all streaming platforms. Not only that, he was also tempted to check the numbers of views the music video had already gathered on his YouTube channel, but he just held himself back. He promised himself that he wouldn't check the streaming numbers or YouTube views until tomorrow. According to his reasoning, checking it now was too early, it's not even up to a day since the song and video got released...so it's best to calm down.

Mark went to bed that night without eating much for dinner, he drank only coffee. Eating wasn't among his priority at that moment, to shorten the long story, he wasn't hungry. As early as 6:40 pm, Mark had already gotten up from bed, and the first thought that struck his mind was, 
 'Go and check the performance of the song'.

He stood up from his bed and sauntered over to where he kept his tablet phone, he bought the tablet mainly to check his songs and music videos performances, and also, for watching funny videos when he wasn't in the mood of watching TV or operating his phone. He arrived at the spot where he kept his tablet, took it, as he was about to on it, a voice in his head said, 
 'Go and take your bath first before checking it.

And that's exactly what he did, he dropped the tablet phone and dashed into the bathroom to brush his teeth and take his bath. After doing so, he dressed up in casual clothes and strolled back to where he kept his tablet phone.....at this moment, his chest was beating fast. He was really anxious as to what the result would be, as something big happen? or would he be faced with the same disappointment? It's more possible that he would be faced with the same disappointment, that's why he was really nervous.

He put on his tablet phone and clicked into the stuff he would use in seeing the total amount of streams his song had gathered on all music streaming platforms. The moment he set eyes on the streaming numbers, his facial expression converted into a sad one immediately, yeah, he was faced with the same disappointment. The streaming numbers weren't encouraging at all, it was just the same as the previous ones.

Though it hasn't been up to a day since the release of the song, judging from the streaming numbers, it was evident that it wouldn't blow up.....it wouldn't bring Mark to the limelight. Mark placed his palms on his hair with a type of painful smile on his face, his mind wandered in thoughts immediately, 

 'What was I expecting? the karma following me is really strong. Even with the rapping I added to the song, it wouldn't still blow up? Even with the uniqueness of the song, it wouldn't still blow up? Am I ever gonna blow up as an artiste? Am I ever gonna move from being an upcoming artiste to a famous artiste? Seems like it's not possible. Darcy that recently got signed to the 'Cool Boiz' record label is already making waves in the music industry, new young artistes are blowing up in the music industry from time to time, while I'm still here struggling as an upcoming artiste for the past four years. Life is really unfair'.

Depression was almost eating him up as he thought about all those, but he didn't allow it, at least, to a certain level. He checked the number of views the music video had already gathered on his YouTube channel, and there was nothing so big about it, it was the same, this one might not even make it up to 250 thousand views. The only good thing was that the YouTube comments were so positive, people loved the way he fitted into the style of a rapper, the chains and rings he wore, and the colorfulness of the video, people loved it and they expressed it in their comments.

But Mark wasn't that motivated by the positive comments 'cause most of the comments came from his already established fans, people that had been listening to his music for a long time. He needed more fan base, larger fan base, he needed his music to be heard by more people all over the world, so he wasn't stimulated by the comments at all. After all the jewelry he wore in the music video, after all the rapping stuff, the video wouldn't still reach out to more people....sigh!

Yeah, buying the jewelry is a waste, it's a futile effort, Dylan had wasted another huge amount of money. Mark didn't even know what to do at this moment, should he call Dylan and Ben and tell them about the low outcome of the song? or did they know about it already? He decided to call Dylan first, the depression that he was trying to overcome was engulfing him already.

He put the phone call through, and Dylan picked up immediately as if he had been waiting for Mark to phone call him, 
 "Sup Mark". Dylan said after answering the phone call, there was no enthusiasm in his tone of voice.
 "Sup Dylan". Mark uttered, there was no enthusiasm in his tone of voice also. "Have you seen how my song is performing? both the audio and the video?".

 "Yeah, I've seen it, not nice at all, but as for the video, the YouTube comments are so nice". Dylan stated.
 "I don't f**king care about that, the fact remains that the song isn't gonna blow up, it isn't gonna raise me to stardom. Though it hasn't been up to a day since its release, it's evident that it wouldn't blow up. I'm f**king tired Dylan".

Dylan sighed, "I understand how you feel Mark, but please, don't give up, we're gonna keep striving".
 "Ain't you tired of helping me at this juncture?". Mark inquired of Dylan, normally, a person should have gotten tired by now.
 "I am not tired, and I'll never get tired of assisting you, we're gonna do this till the end. Would you like to visit my nightclub? the 'Rock and Roll' nightclub?'.
 "Why?".

 "I just want us to go there to drink, let me use the word, drink away our sorrows. Your sorrow is my sorrow, so as Ben also". 
 "I'll love to, let's drink away our sorrows". Mark said lastly over the phone call.



 


 

 








Why is life so frustrating and unfair, why does things not always seem to go the way a person wants it? That has always been the question running through the mind of a very talented and young upcoming artiste(musician)named Mark. He has been dropping songs relentlessly, going for shows and performing in concerts relentlessly, but he isn't getting the fame and type of respect he wants to get as an artiste.
