"Here is your coffee, Mr. Lu." The assistant put down the coffee on the table and inadvertently caught a glimpse of the app that Lu Heting clicked on his phone. It was a taxi-hailing app.
Lu Heting did not only download one app but almost all taxi-hailing apps available in the market.
Was Mr. Lu planning to purchase these companies?
As soon as he went out, he saw Lu Weijian coming over swaggeringly.
"Mr. Weijian, may I ask you a question? Does our company plan to venture into taxi-hailing business?" he asked carefully. He was afraid that he might have misunderstood Lu Heting's intention just now.
The assistant didn't know what was really on Lu Heting's mind, and he didn't dare to ask.

Soon as I came to terms with what ever was going through my head I heard a big click and a bright light appeared above me then another click another and another more and more lights where being turned on as I asked, am I in a reality tv show or something, being sorely confused when I asked my question the last light turned on and there was a huge wheel like the one on wheel of fortune but standing up it was seemingly 30 yards away and there was a pedestal with a tablet on it? Just a few feet away.

Ok this is getting weirder and weirder I said mumbled as I walked over to the tablet when I made it to the tablet I lifters it up and inspected it all over to me it looked like an apple iPad exact instead of an apple symbol it was a coffin which was not that weird considering what happened to me and what is happening to me any ways I turned on the iPad 

And when I did it opened up abut there was only three apps a book looking one that said past life's the other wasn't even an app it was a video that said most recent life and the last one was a app that when opens said  power explications I clicked that button which had nothing in it except spin the wheel, the other was what's happening I clicked that and it said, dear (mortal name here) I regret to inform u that your dead gonzo u will now enter the reincarnation cycle yadda yadda yadda now that's down go spin the damn wheel ahead of u u have to spins a world and a familiar the choices u get have a chance of u getting more spins based on the world your sent to this tablet will explain the powers of u want u can also remember all your past life's when u open he other app but they and your most recents life memory will be forgotten. signed by luci- I mean your mysterious guardian angle .

Ok so I'll ignore that it was almost signed Lucifer and the part about me remembering my past lives while it would be cool I don't want to remember the bad times I inevitably had or cringy moments I mean if this is where I go when I die I can do that the next time I die right? While here goes nothing and I put my hand on the wheel ok ,I slowly counted down three two one (LET IT RIP!!!) and I pushed down on the wheel it started off slow but slowly gained momentum going faster and faster till I couldn't even see it spin then it stopped out of no where it stopped I then heard a ding on the iPad I turned it on and there was a notification it said Avatar the last airbender.

YES!!!! I shouted I don't even know what I was hooding for but I remember watching avatar the last air bender all the time on Nickelodeon  it was a great show a master among masters I hope I'm a bender and exactly when I say that I here another ding two random wheels downloaded, I opened the I pad and there was to new apps one was special ability and the other was bending style I opened that one first and there it had five options on the wheel  airbender fire bender earth bender water bender and non bender which was sadly the biggest option there was, I tapped on the wheel nothing happens so I moved my finger around to spin it that worked and it was spinning it started slowing on fire bender then non bender it got slower and slower making it to non bender again and then when I was losing hope it moved enough before it stopped I looked at my screen in disbelief, 

woah yeah!! I shouted out loud, there it stopped sponng right on earth bender or should I say it nearly landed on non bender but it landed on earth with only a millimeter two the left and it I would be a non bender I was excited I think wait why wasn't I more excited actually this whole time I've seemed  a little how do I put it emotion less with small out bursts I should be crying right now I was killed I'm dead my family my friends oh god my turtle u,nay how will he take care of himself what will happen to his 6 animal stuffy's will they be alright.....what was I thinking just now? Psudeo-immortality: this power will stop u from aging when u reach the age of 25 your body will still develop it will be impossible to die from wild age u also gain a minor disease resistance which is to grades higher then the average human one grade higher of the world your going to live in and finally this body will be able to take a beating your bones skin muscles are all harder to break rip tear burn impale it still possible just weirdly hard to do so though if u where to get a cut that takes a normal human 5 days to heal it will still take 5 days to heal for u.
Earthbending: u can control the primeval element of earth the foundation of creation there are many thing u can do u just have to find it.

Shaking her head Lexi between sobs said, "You did not. Those words hit home. I had only been thinking about myself and not realising the hurt my words could cause…"
Matthew moved over and as best as he could he gathered Lexi into his arms before kissing the top of her head and saying "You do not need to. We were both young and made mistakes, but your parents have most of the responsibility. We just must focus on the future, not only as a couple but as a family with Dominic and any other children we are lucky to have. To slightly alter those words, all those years ago you changed my life and touched my heart when we were younger and that has not changed through to today. We just have to stay committed and ride out those challenges."
Lexi gently laughed before responding "That sounds for corny."
"It is the truth. We just must focus on what is important to us, and I know that we can deal with any challenge that we face."
Lexi paused and said "Matthew, I know you have read what I put in my court material about what Richard did to me. It was horrific. You know Rachael has dragged me to the women's shelter she founded?"
Matthew nodded, before adding "She has followed in her mother's footsteps in founding a charitable service well needed. Her family can well afford to support that."

“Matthew, you b*stard.  You knew our marriage would be valid, and you forced it on me.  You are no better than my parents who arranged my first marriage?”

“What did you want me to do?  Let you be killed?”

“You should have thought about me, not your own selfish needs.  Get the hell out of my sight and let me be I'm going to stay away from you.”

“Forget it.  You are the wife of a military officer.  You will live in my villa and forget about going anywhere without my permission.  It is not safe.”

“Safe?  I am not safe from you, everyone, everything and everywhere else is safe!”

"Hello Rakesh Sir, according to TV situation is only worsening. What is the ground reality?" Pracheen asked

"Pracheen, ground reality is also not good. The response to both your episodes is so good that it is featuring in the most watched series ever and we are expecting this to go higher. So, you all are getting good money from this ordeal. But because of this PIC and LGBTAIQ+ both have intensified their protests. We have to put permanent police protection and barricades outside GPC office. Thankfully this has not spilled to out shooting locations. So, we have moved all shootings outside GPC. Are Virat and Pihu with you?"

"Yes Sir we all are here."

"Virat and Pihu we are planning to start shooting of your new series from next week. The setup will be about 10 kms from the farmhouse. We have found a good property which we can convert into jail setup. Most of your scenes will be in that setup only. After that we will decide based on the situation."

"Ok Sir"

"Pracheen you can return to city if you want. However, right now decision about any new series is pending because we want to not rush into anything. Pratham you will have to remain at the farmhouse only. You cannot come back till everything settles."

" I will remain here to give Pratham company Sir. With Virat and Pihu gone for shooting, he will find it difficult to remain here alone. Also, I am teaching him about a little gardening. So, that should keep both of occupied for next several days." Pracheen said.

"Ok this is excellent. I don't want anyone to remain alone anywhere. So, this is the best solution. Thanks Pracheen. You are very mature. Guys content team also wants you all to do sessions on Facebook and Instagram Live. They are going to send you the format to make these sessions interesting but before that they want you to test the waters. So, Pratham and Pracheen you would be doing a Facebook and Instagram Live session tomorrow and Pihu and you will do it day after. Ok." Rakesh Sir said.

"Ok Sir. But what will we do in the sessions and how will anyone know about our sessions."

"Virat calm down. I am not throwing you in deep water. Our content team is going to announce your sessions on all our portals today and you don't need to do anything. Just read comments and answer wherever you feel like. Just keep this in mind that not only fans but trolls will also join the session. So, don't get agitated and just answer if you want to otherwise ignore the comments. Another thing session will only be for 15 minutes. So join it from my study. It has neutral setup so noone will know where you all are. Also, keep location off on all apps and devices and go live using the iPad in the study. It is safe. Ok and children no need to worry about anything. We have best people employed for handling such scenarios. Ok. Bye. I will speak again tomorrow and day after."

"Bye Sir. Take care."

Shopping for Alex had been difficult because most of what he liked seemed to be directly related to food and Claire had already filled his stocking with snacks. She ended up primarily getting him clothes because he owned so few of them but also got him a thousand-piece puzzle and a few board games she didn't already own. 
The Oreo pajamas had by far been the most sentimental gift she had gotten for him but he didn't seem to mind. He looked quite pleased with all of his presents. 
Claire's presents from Alex included cookie cutters, an illustrated plant guide, a new pair of running shoes, and some anime merch from shows they had watched together. Once again she was touched by his thoughtfulness. 
Ethan was probably the happiest out of everyone with his presents though. Most of her budget for him had gone into buying a used iPad so he would be able to watch movies on his own back at his foster home but she also got him a Lego set and a pair of Nerf guns with extra foam bullets. 
"These guns won't hurt anyone? They're meant to be played with?" he asked curiously. 
"Yep. Kids play with them all the time," Claire explained. "You and Alex can have a Nerf battle if you want. I'm probably severely outmatched against either of you."
And that was exactly what they did as she opened Alex's gift to Daisy, which ended up being a strawberry shaped cat bed that the cat curled up in the second it was opened. She cleared away the wrapping paper and started setting up Ethan's iPad with games and streaming service apps linked to her accounts as the vicious Nerf battle raged around her. 
"Make sure you find all of those bullets when you're done because if you don't I guarantee Daisy will chew on them," she advised as she settled deeper into the couch. 
"Got it!" they yelled simultaneously as they carried on. 
Nerf guns had been the right choice because no matter how skilled they were, they couldn't turn foam bullets with rubber tips into deadly weapons. The toys could only shoot them out with so much force. It was something familiar that wouldn't hurt anybody so Claire considered it a win-win. 
Once the battle was over and they had gathered up all of the bullets and stuck them in a plastic bag for safekeeping they came back into the living room and played some of the games Alex had gotten as gifts. Even Claire wasn't familiar with the rules for all of them so they had to check the instructions frequently. 
They snacked on various treats she had made throughout the day and had Thai leftovers for lunch in between playing games and trying to put that puzzle together. The day passed pleasantly yet uneventfully until it was time to go to dinner at Ray's house. 
He had texted her in advance to warn her that they would all be in their pajamas so she figured it would be fine for them not to bother changing. They put on their boots and coats and headed over there with the presents Alex had bought for Ray, Zoe, and Nolan. 
"This is for your whole family and these are for Zoe and Nolan," he explained once they arrived and Heather opened the door. 
"Thanks Alex! I didn't realize you guys would have someone with you. Who's this?"
"I'm Ethan," he piped up right as his fellow Numbers came out of nowhere and pounced on him in a sneak attack. He certainly seemed happy to see them, even though Heather made them quit wrestling before they accidentally broke something. 
"Which number was he?" Heather asked Claire quietly as she watched him talk animatedly with the others. 
"Fourteen. He's having a hard time in his foster home so we told him if he behaved that he could spend Christmas with us. Sorry to impose," she whispered back. 
The older woman shook her head. "No need to apologize. Poor thing. At least he looks like he's having fun now. You must have spoiled him this morning."
"A little."
Heather rushed off to take something out of the oven and called for everyone to come sit down a few minutes later. Her table normally seated six or seven (there was a bench on one side) but it looked like she had a leaf insert for it that made it barely long enough to fit everyone here after adding in some folding chairs. 
Claire's mouth watered as she saw the ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and so on get set out on the table. It had been so long since she had a proper Christmas dinner. Her mom used to prefer ham over turkey too; rationalizing that they had barely had turkey at Thanksgiving. 
The food was delicious but being surrounded by so many other people was what made her truly happy. She had never had a Christmas dinner like this before with multiple children and multiple adults present, laughing and talking together. 
This was the kind of family she wanted for herself someday. Mother. Father. Kids. Extended family. 
For the longest time Claire had thought that sort of thing wouldn't happen unless she married someone with a big family but she was coming to realize that Ray and Heather included her among the ranks of her family already. She wouldn't have to wait for that on holidays after all. 
She was filled to the brim with happiness and appreciation for what she had all the way through the meal, opening the presents the two of them got her and Alex, and playing games with the Jorgensen family until it was time for the kids to go to bed. Forget being the best Christmas since her mom died; this might be the best one she ever had! 
Wherever her mom was now, she hoped that she was able to see her daughter having a wonderful holiday with people who cared about her. At the end of the night she thanked Heather and Ray profusely.
