Yeca Uzui really loves reading books and writing stories infact theres no day for rest on it, because there she can express what her inside. Both her friends are annoyed at her because of it. "alright ,  you should go sleep now   Jon …  I am a bit tired lately, that`s all. You know, I'm in a period of growth, so sometimes you can experience ups and downs of mood , it is normal."
"good night then young master." the servant left the room and slowly went down the stairs.

It has been about 3 days since some headaches and mood swings started, but today was the most intense one .

Indeed, after recollection not only did memories and experience of past life came but mental power also had some drastic change. it felt like 50% increase. not to mention that before awakening, the light already had very strong mental power. it was his intrinsic nature.

 as later he liked to say "person`s death arrives in different  forms.  sooner or later death will come.  so  instead  of focusing on  lost  focus  on  gain .what is there to   "gain" you ask ?- reminder of your mortality  .  death of  loved ones gives two possibilities  on how you can choose to look at situation.  first one – like common folk likes to do-  grief and indulgent  in self-pity , second one- "biggest gift" that is left by loved ones, even without any  awareness  of that  .  they go  but  they leave behind "remainder of death"  so  instead of focusing so much on  grief  focus  on "gift " .  even Unexpected  death of loved aren't in vain … as a result, your clarity rises.  
You are not inclined to spend so much time on meaningless actions that are often so likeable by common people. The entertainments invented by people, no matter how sophisticated they are, are just pathetic attempts to be forgotten and avoid boredom, without going beyond the comfort zone.
living every moment with clarity like it is last one. if you truly do so … instead of grief   you get calm, silent   wisdom that allows you to enjoy life and enjoyment is like steady burning candle instead of fast ignitable matchstick" .

Qingbao wasn't bookworm but never less he liked spending some quality time   reading books in library.
On one of the summer days. in library 6 years old Qingbao was reading books about travelers about forging, medicine, herbs …, suddenly master Zhìhuì   came in. after being quite for some time, what he often liked to do, he started walking toward the  books that young master  was reading .
"hmm… how is it, how do you feel about these books?"-asked Zhìhuì   in relaxed manner.
"it is really amazing. world is so vast just thinking about these  experiences makes me really excited."
Zhìhuì  faintly smiled:" if I could give you any advice … it would be: forget it, forget what you have read…! "
"forget it ?!"  -exclaimed bewildered young master.
"no matter how wonderful books are they are, after all, just secondhand knowledge …

the more verbal, the less real….  If you pay too much attention and allow yourself be mesmerized by authors then you may lose "your" unique path… use books only as reference, there really ain`t other value .  follow your intuition , even if ideas may contradict to what you have read …  only following your own unique path - you perceive a unique world, and this is exactly the world you need, and that kind of  world also needs your existence… Believe without believing.     After room was warmed up light stood up and went to work-desk and staring drawing a new design for daggers. In fact, thanks to inborn high mental power light was very talented in creating weapon designs, growing up medical herbs, studying medicine – whether it was hands  on practice or theoretical thinking it was far above average. 
10 years of life were spent on reading books , traveling with master Zhihui to other cities – selling medicine and  weapons ,  weapon forging , some medicine practice  and cultivating  medical  herbs ,  practicing  or I would rather say  comprehending  martial  arts . 

Qingbao was more introverted and  when interacting with other kids  he  did so only   on basis that it  wouldn't be  his home village and travel time was the best choice   ,  as he was free to make social experimenting on friends/and foes . after all, while gaining valuable  experience , if  something went wrong  you can easily  cut off interactions and start anew.  if it is hometown, where people can easily find you, then that will be a hassle.  so, in this 10 years qingbao gained some social experience whether it was creating by his very own hands "friends" or "enemies "or converting "friends" to "enemies" and backward.  it is all thanks to his high mental power and guidance from master Zhihui that gave him some level of grasp of human`s heart. as master Zhihui often said "sometimes it might not be the case but nevertheless often there aren't necessary eternal friends or eternal enemies.  one can transformed into another.…" . In the end Qingbao was lone wolf. as for this "friends" or "enemies" they were just temporary companions.
  
After 15 minutes new drawing was done.

usually, during forging process or concocting medicine, light`s concentration would   rise and as a result , time would slow down.  in reality it is not that time slows down  ,  it is just that the intensity of experiencing life moments increases .
. the more conditioned your mind is, more you see every day as the" same day" and quality  of perception is more  mechanical  . it is kind of  "  I have already seen everything " feeling.
 Master Zhihui  often liked to  say "life is short and  there is much to be experienced . if you can not extend time of life in terms of quintinite then you certainly can in terms of quality.

today light yagami`s mental power increased to another level due to past life`s memories recollection so the depth and quality of his concerning was on another level too.

"all right, I think, I need more time before I can get used to this recollection of past life`s memories … to think that I would be living in another world.  so, death is not the end? I once remember that Ryuk mentioned, world of death gods wasn't used to be  in such boring .declined state.  were there any external factors involved, perhaps?  Haha hahah..  world is surly a true mystery … 
Master Zhihui once told me that in this world there are some "extraordinary" people called  "sorcerer" or  "magus." And they can cultivate them-self to grasp power of nature. whether Master Zhihui   was "extraordinary" or not is not clear. 
nobody knows, he said, whether one day I will encounter chance to embark on journey of" sorcerer", nobody can be certain of that. what truly matters is the mindset that you cultivate. there are some lucky ones who have opportunity but cannot grasp it. so all I can do is "be prepared"…hmm you know it would be fun if  one day I cultivate my-self to the point of having ability to  travel to dimensions and by chance meet Ryuk… and maybe visit earth too …ahaha  
all right , i suppose, i am entertained enough by a few ideas ….in 3 days I will go to town "Límíng".  Every five years there is large commercial gathering. Weapons, herbs. Medicines are sold there. Getting some necessary supplies and selling some stuff will certainly do good. As  for now, it is best to  have a nap .
in this following days I would like to organize and merge "this" life's experience with "that" life`s …
And so, after using up some creative energy on forging, more clear-headed light went to bedroom.

The sand in the hourglass shifted. Suddenly, Sunders addressed Crow with a question, "Mister Crow. Did you come to the wizarding world by normal means?"
Crow looked at him without speaking.
"So my guess is correct. Your life is near the end, no?"
Crow threw his head up. His questioning gaze towards Sunders was filled with coldness.
"What are you implying?" asked Crow as he used the same foreign accent.
"Nothing really. I only want to tell you one thing. Smuggling yourself to the wizarding world is no small matter. Oh, also, you shouldn't trust wizards' promises too easily." 
With that, Sunders looked at Sliv again.
"'Sorcerer of Big Fish' Sliv. Next time we meet each other, I hope you bring a Residential Permit for Crow. Otherwise, you will be meeting someone else instead, the law enforcers from Supreme Cult."
Next, Flora threw her scroll in the air under Sliv's shocked stare.
A strange-shaped rupture appeared in front of them.
As Sliv watched in disbelief, Sunder led Flora into the rupture and disappeared.
Sliv could not believe his own eyes. He messed up a sure chance! And how in tarnation could they use their teleportation?!
Sliv directed an angered look towards Crow.
Crow shook his head. "The Psychic Space Barrier wasn't triggered. They didn't leave via a plane passageway."
Sliv extended his spiritual feeler as well. There were no space ripples around. 
Damn it! Then how did they escape?! A replacement spell? Can't be. There weren't spell ripples either.
Sliv almost went mad. He was not planning to let Sunders live at all. He already ordered the wizards from Song of the Deep to prepare to keep Sunders here forever no matter what the man chose. Otherwise, they would face terrible consequences.
Retaliation from Sunders or Brute Cavern was another thing. The biggest problem was Crow's identity.
A wild smuggler from another plane was not a big deal, but an extremely power smuggler was. If the Supreme Cult accused Sliv of "exposing wizardry secrets" because of Crow, he would be in real trouble. 
However, just by revealing secret would not help Crow get into the wizarding world if he did not have a guide.
Sliv did not reveal any secret for that matter. He only made a deal with Crow. He hired Crow as an in-house bouncer for Song of the Deep while paying him Life Extension Potions. If the Supreme Cult investigated him, his best bet would be claiming that he only made a deal with Crow around the potions. However, if something went wrong, the cult could accuse him of revealing secrets about alchemy potions to a smuggler from another world. That would be disastrous!
Damn it all! 
Sliv clenched his fists with nowhere to vent his anger.
His bold move did not earn him anything besides grudge from Sunders. To prevent being investigated by the Supreme Cult, he must do something about Crow as well. Everything went wrong!
What Sliv was not expecting was that something even worse was waiting for him.

The cloud whale glided leisurely under the thunderclouds.
After being showered by the lightning bolts several days ago, the ranch outside was in a bad shape. Thank goodness the weather turned better. The thunderclouds were still there, but the lightning grew weaker.
Angor moved back to his own small tent.
Today, Angor took a nap at noon and left the tent with a great spirit. Without Sunders and Flora around, he felt relaxed. Even Toby did not disrupt his good mood by tweeting on top of his head.
He strolled into Sunders' beautiful tent. Toby launched itself from Angor's hair, circled around, and flew towards the dining hall. Butler Goode made a small compartment for Toby. There were all kinds of food and toys for the bird in there.
Angor went straight to the book room and shut the door and curtain. After making sure he did not miss out anything, he took out a bronze pocket watch from his clothes.

The pocket watch had an oval-shaped flip cover, which was decorated by an embossed flower pattern. Opening the cover would reveal a white and clean dial inside.
Angor did not open the cover. Instead, he screwed the back cover open and revealed the delicate gears and springs behind it.
He carefully picked up a square crystal as thin as insect wings from the side of one of the gears.
The thin crystal was a valuable gift left by Jon—the hologram tablet.
To keep it safe, Angor never took it out while Sunders and Flora were still on the cloud whale. Since they left, Angor would well use the tablet as best as he could.
Sunders said that Angor was free to read all books in the library before they reached Fey Continent. There were a lot of books here. More than a hundred thousand paper books were placed on the bookshelves in good order. Angor could not remember them all, so he only chose a few to read before reaching Goman Kingdom, and he only finished about a hundred of them.
Now that Sunders was away, Angor got a new idea.

All the books seemed to be collected by Sunders personally. There were 11 double-sided bookshelves, all of which were four meters high. There were about more than a hundred thousand books on them. 
The first two bookshelves mainly contained books related to apprentices and common wizardry knowledge.
Starting from the third bookshelf were books about formal wizards. The third shelf was mostly aged leather books. Most of the leather covers were cracked. The books mainly contained traveling stories of wizards in ancient times or anecdotes. There were also some ancient spells. The book Initial Glory which recorded the creation of the very first meditation method was also here.
The fourth held more books about wizards, but there were more biographies and tips on wizard training than spell books. The fifth to the tenth shelf were most attractive for Angor. There were many miscellaneous arts, such as Drawing Spell Patterns, Basic Alchemy, Material Extraction, Illustration Manual for Monsters in Abyss Plane… They were only elementary books though. Sunders' book room did not contain anything about in-depth content.
Angor guessed that Sunders arranged the books before letting him in, to make him find his own path by reading about various knowledge.

As Leo was spending time with his parents time flow by and before Leo knew it it was time for his fifth-birthday. For the people of this world the fifth-birthday is not all that important only the tenth-birthday is because that is when one can awaken there marshall spirit and can start cultivating. 

Leo's birthday was small it was only him and his mom and dad and thay only had a bigger dinner then usual. After Leo had dinner with his family he asked his father if he can bring him to there clan library. Brandon looked at his son and ask why do you what to go there don't you want to go play outside with my tamed beasts like yesterday. Leo looked at his dad and said I what to learn about the world father can you please take me to the library. Brandon was shocked because in the three years that his son could talk he not asked or pleaded for anything and when he finally does he asked to go to the library? I will take you to the library son. 

Once Leo's dad walked him to the library he looked at his son and said remember to come back to the house when you are done and if you lose your way just ask some for directions and thay will tell you the way after that he walked away and left Leo at the door to the library. Leo walked up the stairs and entered. When he got in what he saw was a round wooden counter with a elderly woman setting at the counter so she can help people find books. Leo walked up to the woman and said hello elder can you help me find two books. The woman was taken back usually when the younger generation comes in the library thay are to proud to ask her for help so she decide to look at the person that ask her for help what she saw was a five year old boy with icey blue hair and eyes looking up to her. 

She looked at Leo and asked him what books do to need help finding. Leo smiled and said I need a book explaining the world and a book on basic spear movements please. Leo picked the spear movements because he wanted to learn the spear moves so he had a head start on all the other kids his age. The woman look at him a bent her eyebrows and said aren't you a little bit to young to look at spear techniques. Leo looked back at her and stared in to her eyes and said I just what to get the basics down so when I get a spear I can use it better then other people. The old lady sided and said do not push yourself to hard your body and stamina are to weak right now to use the spear I recommend body tempering and working out your body but you have to at least wait in tell your are seven to do body tempering so for now run laps and do pushups and things like that. Leo looked at her and said thank you for your teaching elder I will come back for more help when I am seven in tell then I will go get my books and leave. 

When Leo got home he went so his room and started reading about the world. In the world there are multiple races. There are Elves, Dwarfs, and Beast men. There is also alot of bloodlines out there. The continent name is the Azure dragon. There are four big city there is Lunar city, Solis city, Great mountain city and Azure city. 
Lunar city is a icey tundra that has the smallest population because normal people don't last long out there it is a cultivator only city. It has the best ice pavilion called Lunar pavilion it is like haven for any ice cultivator. 
Solis city has the best fire pavilion because the solis pavilion was built in the center of seven volcanoe. The fact there is seven volcanoes in the same place means that the fire energy there is really dence. 
Great mountain city has the best earth pavilion. 
Great Mountain city has a lot of tall mountains the smallest one being the same size as mount Everest back on Earth and the tallest one being two times bigger then smallest one and the pavilion being built on the peak of the tallest mountain. 
Azure city is a bit weird it does not have a unique energy like the others. Instead it has really tough ground you have to be at least a expert Sage to dig in the ground. Azure city has the best body tempering pavilion because deep in the ground there is a special water source that strengthens the body of whoever drink it.

After Leo read all of the book he went to sleep. When he woke up he had a splitting headache. Leo heard a voice in his head. the mysterious voice said this is the weapon Overlord technique at every stage you can shoes a weapon and the technique will strengthen the parts of your body that affect how the weapon is used. choose your first weapon the voice said. Leo shouted out spear in his head all of a sudden he felt his grip strengthen his arms and legs get stronger and more flexible and he got basic spear stances. After all of this happened to Leo he passed out on the floor.

Leo has been reading light novels for a long time. When he read them he felt like he was escaping from the real world into a place that anything was possible. Leo only had one problem with the novels mc's and it was that thay only used one weapon.

'A name, huh?' I said to myself internally. I could always use my name, although I could use my old name it will be confusing as hell when I join the Straw Hat pirates while also having the same name as Robin. 'Heh ... I will cross that bridge when I come to it' I said to myself deciding to keep my old name.  Now on to the family name, how about I name myself after House in Fallout NV, as I have always like House as a character and the name Robin Edwin House sounds quite nice to the ear. 

Deciding on a name I said loudly said to the system "My new name is Robin Edwin House". Instantly after is said the name a new screen popped up in front of me.

Below is a basic summary of how the system functions and the effects it has on you.

Firstly the Fallout System doesn't work on the basis of  'stats'  instead of you first have start by setting up your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Unlike in the fallout games your SPECIAL stats now represents the rate of growth of you corresponding strength and skill. For example: 

- The STR stat will affect your rate of muscle growth. 
- The PER stat will affect the base sharpness of your senses and also the rate on how you can hone skills based on the senses.
- The END stat will affect the growth of your stamina.
- The CHR stat will affect people's perception of you while also helping in building relationships.
- The INT stat will affect the difficulty of skill learning and understanding of a subject.
- The AGI stat will affect how well you can control your body while also helping in the mastering of dexterity based skills.
- The LUC stat will affect on how lucky you are.

As a point of reference, a point of 5 on a stat is considered normal and every point to a stat will increase its effectiveness by a factor of 1.5. So a person with 10 points in STR builds muscle 7.5 times stronger than a person with 5 in STR. 

Another feature of the system in the store. Here the user can buy blueprints and books from the fallout universe and your old world.  To buy from the store the user will need a sufficient number of Caps. Caps can be gained by defeating enemies or by exchanging with real money. As the user is currently in the One Piece verse the exchange rate of Berry to Caps is 100:1.

(I am assuming that Berry has the same value as Japanese yen thus making 100 berry worth around 1 US Dollar. I am also assuming that one Cap is also worth 1 US Dollar) 

The system also comes with the V.A.T.S like feature, but due to balance reasons, it has been nerfed to 10% bullet time (The user perceive the world at 10% speed). The use of VATS is not free and it takes a great deal of mental energy to use it (Basically makes the brain's perception of the world go on overdrive, thus taxing the brain).

Lastly, the system is thought-based, and such the user needs only to think of doing something to start an action.

'Now how should I allocate my points ....' I thought to myself.  Considering that my SPECIAL will affect my future growth it is best to spec into the best. Considering the features given to me by the system speccing to 10 INT seems to be the best course of action, as with the help of the advanced scientific knowledge of the Fallout verse I can enhance the other stats through other means such as power armors, implants or even self-made perfect mutant serum. Stuff that I hope I will be able to make with enough INT.

With that reasoning, I started putting all my remaining points into INT putting the stat up to 10. With that out of the way, I will need to consider if I should keep the stats at average or reducing one stat to increase another. Let says I reduce CHR which was quite a useless stat in Fallout to 0 then it will have an effectiveness of 13% of 5 CHR but if I do that I would also have 5 free stat points which can increase a stat to 7.5 effectiveness.

But because I don't really know how drastic one stat can affect the future it is a tough choice to make. Fuck it I will keep everything else on average as I can't see any way for me to increase the effectiveness of CHR and LUC through any external means. 

Having made my decision said done internally and seeing that time will resume, I made the best of the situation by saying "Soshite toki wa ugoki dasu". 

Right after I said those words the world became colorful once again and Makino continued naming me. 

"How about I call you Robin Edwin House?". She said happily expecting a reaction out of me. 

Not really knowing how to react being given a name that you gave to yourself I mustered up a nod while muttering "Ummm, that sounds like a good name.".

"Okay then from now on your name will be Robin" replied Makino happily seeing my acceptance.

"Now you must still be tired after everything that has happened so why don't you finish up the food and then go back to rest. If you need anything just shout after me, as I will be downstairs tending the bar." After saying that Makino left the room leaving me to my own devices.

The first thing I did as she left was to look at my status.

'Yes!' I said to myself happily. I always liked to use pistols in the games, and now I knew how to build a semi-automatic one by using some scraps, I was ecstatic. And now that I have opened a pack the store was now open for viewing.

Looking through the system store I was shocked to see the prices of some of the blueprints and books. But looking around I gained a better understanding of how it all works. Firstly in the blueprint section one can buy nearly every blueprint imaginable it doesn't restrict what type of item one is searching for.

As for the books, books on subjects are divided 5 ranks novice, apprentice, adept, journeyman and master. To buy every rank one must first buy the book from the rank below and understand it. Books of a higher rank also come at a higher price and every rank increase the price is multiplied by 10 (If a novice book cost 100 Caps, an apprentice book would cost 1000 Caps and a master book would cost  1 000 000 Caps). 

Seeing that I have no Caps I exited the shop and continued to test out VATS. To use all I had to do was think of using it and by doing so I noticed the world turned black and white and everything went at 10% speed. This moment only lasted for what seemed to be 2 seconds (0.2 seconds real-time) before I started feeling mentally strained. Noticing that I am getting tired I exited out of VATS, but because I was so tired I didn't have any mental energy left so I let sleep take me.


 On the colossal St. Ancestral Mountain range, sunlight shined through the gap between the mountains into the deep canyons. On the hillside beside the valley, some snow remained.
Even though it's already the early summer, the snow has yet to melt. The cold here is exceptionally long. The roars of beasts can occasionally be heard.
On the surface of the valley stood a magnificent city.
The world outside of the St. Ancestral Mountains has been occupied by the beasts. The people living in the mountain range have not contacted the outside world for hundreds of years.
The people who live in the city are unsure of the situation of the outside world. It's been recorded that at the most glorious period of mankind, having thousands of Legend rank Fighters and Demon Spiritualists, the humans established many empires in the vast continent, but those empires have been wiped out.
The city, due to being stealthily located geographically, was well preserved from the Age of Darkness. They would occasionally encounter attacks from powerful Snow Wind Beasts within the St. Ancestral Mountains, however, after going through numerous devastating conflicts, the city was be rebuilt again and again.
These motley walls were an indomitable monument.
This city is called Glory City, and it is a symbol of hope for humanity.

Northern Glory City, Tian Kui Family Lands, Patriarch's House

Glory City was the home of Fighters and Demon spiritualists. Each category had their own levels of cultivation. Stating with Bronze Rank, then Silver, Gold, Black Gold and finally Legend rank. A family's position in the city was based off of the rank of demon spiritualists that they produced. To become an aristocratic family, the family needed to produce a Gold rank Deon spiritualist, Noble families had to produce one Black Gold rank demon spiritualist, and a major family had to produce three Black Gold demon spiritualists, or one Legend rank.
The Tian Kui family is only an aristocratic family with its only Gold rank demon spiritualist being Chi Feng, the patriarch. The Tian Kui family has primarily only fighters instead of demon spiritualists. The family money is made through farming of crops, and alchemy herbs. They make some money through their fighters and the fighter's guild, but very little.
The prize of the Tian Kui family was the son of the patriarch, Chi Kai. Chi Kai has a green soul realm. When it comes to soul realms there are seven different kinds, each having a meaning of the potential one might have to become a demon spiritualist. The seven soul realms are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, and Azure. Red meant one had poor potential and could only become a fighter instead. Orange and yellow only meant you had average potential, but yellow has more potential than orange. Green soul realms were rare and meant one has great potential, Cyan soul realm meant one is considered a genius and has outstanding potential. Azure soul realm hadn't been seen in centuries and is only considered legend.
Since Chi Kai had a Green soul realm, he is considered the genius of the Tian Kui family and is their hope to become a noble or major family. Therefore, the pressure that Chi Kai is under is very great.
Due to the pressure added onto him, Chi Kai was desperate to start cultivating before going to the Holy Orchard Institute. which highly recommended against. Due to no teacher being present and a poorly chosen cultivation method that he took from his family's library, Chi Kai underwent a cultivation deviation. when this happens, it means that something has gone very wrong and the person undergoing a cultivation deviation can be gravely injured.
Chi Feng, the patriarch of the Tian Kui family, was currently pacing outside the room that was for his only son. Chi Kai, his only son had an accident while trying to force his cultivation. Chi Kai only had a month before he would be going to the Holy Orchard Institute, if he had just waited everything would have been fine.
Chi Kai was currently laid in his room hanging by a thread, as his soul force was slowly slipping away.
The Family called a physician to come treat Chi Kai. Ye Du is one of the best physcians that glory city had to offer. Ye Du had been raised from a yound age in the Snow Wind family to be a physciain. He had spent many years honing his craft.
Ye Du slowly stepped out of the child's room with a sullen look on his face.
"I am sorry Patriarch, but it seems that Chi Kai doesn't have much longer to live. The boy has severely damaged his meridians,and His soul force is slowly slipping away."
Chi Feng had to keep a neutral face for appearances, but on the inside, he was in turmoil. His wife had died in childbirth, and he only had his son with him to keep him together. Without his son, and wife he was nothing.
Not very many people new, but the Tian Kui family was deeply family oriented and was extremely Loyal people once they had made a connection. With such strong family connections it made the loss of a familymember that much devastating.
Unbeknownst to them, the soul force in the room started to stir above Chi Kai, as the last of Chi kai's soul force slowly slipped away. There was a rush of energy into Chi Kai.
Chi Kai jolted awake. Whipping his eyes around the room to gather as much information as possible.
'where am I? wasn't I Just in the library? Where did the flames go?' the soul inside of Chi Kai was no longer Chi Kai, but another.
The soul that now lived within Chi Kai's body was that of a man from another world. another world were soul force, and soul realms didn't exist.
It only took a few minutes for him to see what was going on before memories of life that wasn't his slowly started to appear in his mind. Flashes of family member that he knew the names of but had never met before. what are soul realms? what are demon beasts? This was all so confusing. He needed time to go through these new memories to figure out were they had come from.
At that time the door to his room slowly slid open, two men slowly walked in. Chi Feng, to say his last goodbyes, and Ye Du, to ease the boy into his next life.
Both were surprised to find Chi Kai weakly holding his eyes open.
"Chi Kai! You're awake! How are you feeling?" his father rushed to him.
Ye Du was hurriedly going over Chi Kai to see what was happening.
"This is a miracle patriarch; his soul force is returning. His vitals are starting to steadily come back up. He is starting to recover!
As Ye Du was rushing to help his body come back to stability. Chi kai, as he learned of his new name, slowly slipped back into unconsciousness.

 After a few days of being unconscious Chi Kai's mind was able to assimilate and merge the new soul and memories together. Chi Kai was amazed that his soul had actually transmigrated into a new body. He couldn't really remember much of his old life. He had a few memories, but He could remember people that well, everyone's faces were blurred and he couldn't bring his eyes to focus. He couldn't even remember his own Name from his previous life. All he could remember In full clarity was right before everything went dark, he was in a library that was on fire. He was the librarian there and was trying to save everything that he could. Apparently, he didn't do very well.
'Looks like the only option I have is to recover and live this life.' He thought.
His body was still very sore, but he was able to move around a lot more than when he first woke up. He needed to get up and gather more information. His memories were there but he couldn't make a whole lot of sense of them. what he needed was context. He needed to learn more of this new world to make sense of all these new memories.
Chi Kai called for the family members attending to his needs to bring him some books. Preferably history books, that way he could learn more about the new world that he was now living in. He needed to know about his new family, what dangers that one might need to watch for.
After reading through multiple of the books that were brought to him, and some well placed questions he Learned that he was the heir of an aristocratic family in a place called Glory City. In a world of cultivation, with soul force, demon beasts, and a world that was solely based on becoming the strongest. He needed to find his way to the family library after going to see his family. He needed to read as much as possible and prepare for this savage world.

After meeting with his father, he was able to find out what happened to him. In his desperation to make his family proud he had forced his own cultivation to go berserk. This caused a huge strain on his body and he had almost died.
After learning of this he promised his father that he would wait to get to the Holy Orchard Institute before Cultivating. He was able to talk his father into letting him back into the Family Library under supervision to start reading more about soul force and meridians that was he would be ahead before he finally went to school.
As he arrived into the library, which was meager at best. It had to be one of the smallest libraries that he had stepped in. Under the supervision of one of his cousins, he sat at one of the two tables in the room to start reading over the basics. He had a few books to explain the basis of soul force, soul realms, and the meridians that were found in the human body.
Boom! His mind jolted has he was reading.
"The heaven and earth are callous, treating all beings like dogs…"
"The sun sets and the moon wanes, an imperfection appears in the heaven and earth…"
Boom!
All kind of profound adages shocked him giddy. Following which, a giant palace appears before him in his head. On it, four words glow brightly.
Library of Heaven's Path!
Opening the door, he walks in. Countless bookshelves stand tall and mighty with all kinds of books on them. The end can't be seen at a single glance. The Place had almost a heavenly glow to it. Shelves and shelves of books lined the walls. Neatly placed tables and chair throughout the brightly lit room. The beauty of the room took his breath away, it wasn't like anything that he had seen before.
"Could this be the gift pack for transcenders? A library? I was a librarian my previous life. This works out perfectly!" In my previous life i can't remember people all that well, but i can remember the joy of reading gave me. As a child and through my adulthood reading was my refuge, my get away, my happy place. I never had my own library before though.
Library? For what? It can't be that in my future fights when other people are throwing swords at me, I would be throwing books? Could these books really help me in this new world?
"Let me see what books there are."
Feeling helpless, Chi Kai reaches out to grab a book from a bookshelf to determine the purpose of this library. However, when he stretches out, his hand passed through the bookshelf, causing him to grab thin air.
Just has his hand had passed through the books, there was a jolt in his mind. Four words appeared in his mind.
Heaven's path is imperfect!
A book appeared on the table directly in front of him. The Title looked to be the exact same as the book he had in his hands just a moment ago!

There was over a hundred flaws in this book alone! I need to check the other books here, will i get the same results from those?
After checking the other few books, he had, the lowest number of flaws in one book was 93!
There was another jolt in his mind and suddenly the few books he had copied into the heaven's paths library compiled into one book!
This new book appeared on the table, with no name on the cover, and it only had 57 flaws!
Looks like he is just going to have copy more books into this new library to get a book without flaws.
'I wonder…' Chi Kai reached over to another book that lay near his seat at the table
'Flaws!' another book appeared in his mind!
Looks like he doesn't need to flip through the books at all, he only needs to touch them!
Chi Kai stood up, he needed to get to work.
He slowly made his way through the small rough touching the books on the shelves as he went. After awhile he finished coping all the books into his new library. There must be a limit on how many books he can copy at one time, because he had a major headache now.
He needed to check and see if he could compile a new book without flaws. He went into his mind, into the library of heaven's path
"Compile!" a new book appeared with now title, and it still had 37 flaws. Looks like my families library really isn't that big. I need to see if this world as access to a public library.
He opened this new book, and it was so much better than the first few books he went through! He couldn't help but keep reading. It felt like hours that he stayed in his mind reading the book. Chi Kai was careful while reading and studying, he noted down the flaws and page they were on. That way he can Read and try to study later on why these mistakes were wrong, and learn how to fix them.
That is why he was confused when he finally came to, it didn't look like much time had passed from the position of the sun he saw through the window. It looked like the sun and only shifted an hours worth of time. Looks like time in his mind is slower! That will be something to definitely look into later, and test the parameters of.
Since he had copied all the books into his new library, there was no point in staying here. Chi Kai stood up to make his way back to his room. He didn't even pay attention to the weird look that his cousin gave him as they left.
He needed to get back to his room and study!
 

Chi Kai is the son of the Patriarch of the Tian Kui family from glory city. Follow him throughout his adventure while he tries his best in a world where survival of the fittest reigns supreme.

Billy's regular grin was back and he ruffled her hair, as he often did. Hazel always soaked up the affection like a sponge. He was her only friend but he was also all she had. 
Honestly, she wouldn't have survived living in this place another year without seeing him every night. It kept her sane. 
"You don't have to do that. As long as you keep drawing for me I'll be happy. There are these things called libraries on the outside with tons of books all for free. You borrow them instead of buy them. Have you ever been to one?" he asked. 
Hazel nodded. Her mother used to take her to story time at the local library when she was little. 
Billy sighed. "You can read about anything you want in a library. You draw rainbows and little animals and flowers now but you could draw so much more if you saw pictures of things in books."
That did sound nice but there were so many things Hazel knew about simply from listening to him talk, like outer space and volcanoes and things that lived in the ocean. 
"You should be in school learning about all of these things yourself," he said a bit angrily. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with you; you shouldn't even be in here."
A small smile appeared on Hazel's face. Billy was the only person in the world who believed that about her. He didn't see her lack of speech as a problem at all. 
In fact, he frequently praised her for being smart or funny or creative. She didn't think she was any of those things but it was hard not to believe that earnest face. 
She patted his arm comfortingly before writing something down. 'My uncle thinks there is'
Billy scowled. "Your uncle is an idiot. If I could, I would get you out of here. You could go to school and I would make sure you had the best crayons, markers, colored pencils, and paints there are. You could make any kind of art you want."
He talked like that a lot. About what he would do if they ever got out of the mental ward. It sounded amazing but it was nothing but a pipe dream. 
Billy knew the rules—they couldn't hold you anymore once you turned 18 and became an adult without a guardian. But that was a very long way away for him and was even longer for Hazel, who was three years younger. 
She didn't think she would survive another ten years in this place, especially if he was gone. Hazel wasn't stupid. If she never got to go to school, she wouldn't be able to survive as an adult in this world. 
Unfortunately, she knew the only way her uncle would ever let her out was if she spoke like a normal person. She had heard the nurses whispering about it one day. 
Even after spending so much enjoyable time with Billy she still couldn't make herself speak. Maybe she had lost the ability to since she hadn't used her voice in so long. But he didn't seem to mind and she loved that about him. 
There were a lot of things Hazel loved about Billy. His kindness. That goofy grin of his. All of the interesting things he talked about. The way he petted her hair and made her feel wanted even though the whole world had turned its back on her. He was the best part of her life. 
He was still lamenting the fact that she was even in this mental ward so she wrote him another note and held it up. 'I don't mind being here as long as I have you'
Billy sighed. "You should mind. You were too little when you came; you don't remember enough about outside to know what you're missing. But I promise, someday I'll get you out of here. There are so many amazing things you should see and draw; I'll take you everywhere!"
Hazel liked hearing him talk like this even though she knew it was futile. Imagining going cool places with her best friend was nice despite knowing nothing would come of it. 
She was crazy. He was dangerous. At least according to the doctors and nurses. They were never getting out of here. 
"If I could get you out now, would you go even without me?" Billy asked suddenly. "I promise I would find you someday."
Why did he ask? Hazel would be forced to go back to the uncle who didn't want her even if she could get out. 
'Don't talk like that' she wrote sternly. 
Hazel feared being left behind by the only person she was certain cared about her even more than she feared her nightmares. Even those had been dwindling lately. They only hit every few days and even then she didn't scream nearly as much as she used to. 
She attributed all of those positive changes to the time she spent with Billy. Sometimes she even had pleasant dreams about the things he had talked about from his books. He liked to tell her stories he had read before coming to the hospital. 
"Alright, I won't," Billy said with a shrug. "But if I get out before you and we get separated, I promise I will come for you. Do you believe me?"
Hazel nodded. She believed in him more than she did anything else. He was her lifeline; the only light she had in this world. 
The sun was rising. Sunrises were so hateful; all they ever did was end the only happy times she had and send her back to people who treated her as if she didn't exist. Hazel only came alive in the night. 
Billy stood and offered her a hand to help her up. To her surprise, he seized her in a hug. Though they often did little affectionate touches such as head pats, they almost never hugged. The last time had been after a week-long separation due to heightened security months ago. 
"I love you, Hazel. Don't ever forget that."
More than anything Hazel wanted to tell him that she loved him too. He was the first person she had opened her heart to after losing her parents so traumatically. But the words wouldn't come. Instead, she tightened her hold on him and stood on tiptoe to kiss his cheek. 
Her mom used to kiss her cheeks all the time as a gesture of affection. It was the best she could do for her friend, who seemed oddly upset today. 
Hazel headed back inside and was so tired and happy from the unexpected hug that she actually managed to fall asleep for once. She dreamed about being enveloped in that warm hug, so similar to the ones she used to know.

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!”

“Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!”

As we kept walking the goddess kept explaining to me and as expected every book is a world with it's history 

it still blow my mind that a small books like that could hold centuries of information's about million's of life but as we get deeper I noticed that the book kept getting thicker and thicker I took me seconds to guess the reason but I still asked I mean I should take everything I could get from here 

So I asked "why is the book getting thicker as we walk"

"haha of cours as there a different between souls there are more different between world mister ren as you could guess there are world that have a lot of history they are so ancient that they have multi-god gardien them and the more ancient they are the more legacy they have so of course the record will be thicker " she said 

As I read between the line I response "so that mean not all the ancient world are stronger huh " 

She looked at me hint of seriousness in her eyes "of course mister ren they aren't the strongest but they where in some point in time as you know more time mean more people and more people mean less resources so they've been sucking those world dry but that doesn't mean they are weak just their history alone could make any of those magician or cultivator of lesser world go crazy "

"human are such creatures mister ren even thought they can be one of the greediest they never fell short to impress me if you gave them enough time they can adapt to any situation they face, it always fascination watching them they are one of my favorite race personally they could be slave for centuries to other creatures but in every single world they never let the chance to regain their freedom at some point of time ,Truly a race without any immediate benefit, they don't have the life span of elf nor are they the favorite of heaven like dragons nor do they have strength like orc But their abilities to learn is really impressive if I say myself"

As I kept hearing her talk about many other races I couldn't help but want to witness this sort of transformation in history myself 

with hint of jealousy in my voice I said "so how does it feel " 

"what are you talking about mister ren "

even though I know she understand i asked again "how does it feels to be the keeper of all the knowledge in the multi-univers "

at this point my jealousy and longing where so visible even In my face , what could be more appealing to a book worm like me than the history of millions of univers 

She chuckled slightly at my expression "it feel OK " she said 

Here I felt like it was the hardest to keep my anger and not lash at her in this instant So I said my word dripping with scrams "all of this and its just OK in the end sure god are different"
  
I let a sigh even I didn't know I was holding sure I couldn't control myself when it comes to book or knowledge

"you have to know mister ren I've been here in more than millennia sure In the beginning it was wonderful but as time goes it become less enjoyable as you human can't keep eating the same meal every day it the seem for me even if im a god"

Of course I could understand but even so I couldn't Sympathy with her to me this place is better than heaven "maybe you are right but you know im feeling a little regret if I know of this place before I would even save the world to just stay here for a few year " 

Than I remembered something important I didn't ask "so where is this place since it not in the heaven or hell"

"this place is everywhere at the same time nowhere its locked in the boundary's between world the as I said very few could come here and even they are afraid of getting lost In between those boundaries "

" it wouldn't be a problem that im here and not in my way to drink grandma meng soup right "I said with a hint of joking

"hahaha of course not I took your soul directly after you where expelled from your world so technically you are not really dead " This definitely did stun me as I didn't expect it at all "well this won't make you in any difficult situation right " I really didn't want anything to go wrong

She did seems to be really kind I could imagine other gods already destroying me at this point ahhgh it seems this situation rather affected me more than I thought 

so I did take a few breaths to calm myself down even though she is kind I couldn't let my guard down ,and even if the chance is rather slim I really do want to be in her good book maybe she would allow me to stay longer so I did put my plan in work as I don't think I could  trick or manipulate her I better be more honest so with the best smile I have I said " well since it's getting boring why wont you get some help and you enjoy some rest for a few years that what we human do maybe it would help"

she responded with amusement in here eye " and where could I find this help mister ren maybe you know "

well it seems I was right being honest really is the best with all sincerity I could find I said with straight face without any blushing "well I know that this place is difficult but I've been here for sometimes and I don't feel anything and nothing seems to be wrong either and honestly it might come as arrogance but im one of the best when it come to books even if im not a god myself"

it seems dying really did make my skin thicker "haha well mister ren there a lot of people who loves book even among God's lets Alone the other beings"

When it come here I replied rather confidently "as you said earlier yourself human is the greediest and im no different " 

She laughed with what seem like the warmest smile " and what is your greed then"

Ren was a normal human being living his normal life doing his normal thing until one day he died just like that a normal death he didn't save anyone nor did a truck hit him he just died in his sleep he thought it was the end but ooh how wrong was he

"No, I think you got the wrong person," I replied as swift as I could.

"Ah, of course. Excuse me," he smiled, "you think I'd fall for that," he shouted.

I said, "in all honesty, I hoped you would," I wanted to throw a gesture with my hands, but couldn't as I was still in Veras arms. Now I seemed less rude than I actually was.

I saw a vein pop on his forehead, "I wasn't sure at first, but now I'm certain."

I really felt like there was something wrong with this family. How were they able to survive with that kind of aggression in their blood.

"Alright you got me, let's talk another time," I said, and gave Vera her que to walk away. She understood without any verbal communication and went on her way.

"Where do you think you are going," he shouted again.

"Vera ignore him," I whispered. 

We already had a character like him before, I did not need that again. 

"Vera," he growled, "stop right now."

"Pardon me, but we are currently occupied, please return another time," she told him with a clear voice and swiftly took of.

Unable to believe what she said, he shouted, "what is that supposed to mean," while he planned to follow us.

Vera then abruptly turned around and with a sharp tone spoke, "that means that you should get lost." Contrary to my expectations, her words seemed to have a persuasive power which made that guy stop his pursuit.

There was no way she was just an ordinary maid, was there.

What saddened me was that only his feet stopped, as his mouth was still fully functional, "Vera what gives you the right to interfere with our family matters," he asked, his voice as threatening as a barking dog.

"As a maid of this household, I have the duty to engage with it's affairs."

A bit surprised inwardly, but unwilling to show it externally, he rebutted, "what does that kid mean to you?"

Hey, I was supposed to be at least fifteen, I wasn't a kid.

"She is family," Vera replied, steadfast. But her conviction seemed rather comical, when I considered how she was still holding me, like a child held their favorite doll.

"Family, her?"

"Yes," she said in a interrogative tone, "do you see a problem with my statement?"

He was stumped by her hostile demeanor, "of, of course not, but her-"

"Alright, then we shall be on our way." She disappeared, twice as fast this time, not even waiting for her sentence to finish. 

The guy that was taller than not only me, but also Vera, became incessantly smaller, until he disappeared around a corner. That, of course, did not stop him from voicing one last sentiment, "don't think you can hide behind Vera the whole time."
His words echoed upon the walls, and by the time it reached me, was already silent.

"Excuse me, if I may offend you by stating we were family," Vera suddenly said, "it was the easiest way."

"I don't mind at all," I giggled, "in fact, I found his reaction quite funny. You seem to be rather cute yourself, seeing how he stopped approaching."

"Not at all, he was merely scared of my status, not my words. I still have a long way to go until I reach the level you are at."

"You shouldn't strive to become someone like me," I told her jokingly, "that reminds me, who was that person?"

"Huh, have you already forgotten him? The  again, it has been a long time since you were in this household, after all," she nodded," he is-"

"Wait let me stop you right there, I don't really care."

"Eh," she let out a sweet noise, "you don't want to know who he is?"

"No. If you gave him a name, I might mistake him for more important than he actually is, otherwise."

After all, If every person who had a problem with me, was to announce themselves, I might know more names than words. 
But in all honesty, it did feel more natural being approached by a male, instead of all these females who seem to be charmed by this body.

Vera gave a loud laugh and said, "I got it," she then twisted my head to face hers, "I was right to talk to you after all. Where do you want to go now?"

"To the library."

"The library? Alright then," she picked up her pace again.

Navigating through the dizzying interior of this mansion, we soon reached a familiar spot. It was an adorned door, conspicuously placed at the end of our path. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by that eccentric librarian again.

"Oh Agnes, back so soon," he asked, with a lifeless tone, making me unable to discern whether that was sarcasm or not.

"Yes, I felt like reading again."

"That's nice, come in."

"Vera," I nudged her, "put me down, please."

She was reluctant, but did not refuse. 
The moment my feet reached the floor, I entered the room full of books and their unique scent immediately hit me. It was a wooden smell, very antique, and lingered in my tongue like chocolate or coffee.
A powerful light shone into the library, making the normallly invisible dust into the air, sneak out of their shadows. They settled on the antique shelves, accompanied by spider webs, and the colorful books scattered around. The books were neatly aligned in rows, with only their back facing outwards. A stained carpet hid the wooden floor, while the walls gave way for strings of braided ivy.
A comfortable silence imposed the room, as if I went into another world. Only the white noise of insects scurrying around and the wind, using the papers as an instrument to play its melodies, reminded me that the world has not gone mute.
Every step I took, caused the wooden boards to creak, and roused the still dust to fling in the air.

"No matter how many times I enter, the sight of all this dust gives me difficulty breathing," Vera interrupted.

"Great, you don't have to enter then," I replied.

As soon as I said so, her ecstatic face immediately turned livid. Her previous glistening eyes had turned into a single shade of black and her face was drained of all color. She looked like a ghost. Or someone who saw one. Which would have been me, as her blanched face gave me quite a scare.
It was like I'd told her a family member died, her reaction made me almost feel bad for her. Well, almost.
Since she stood there unmoving, I decided to just shove her out.

"Wait here until I come out," I told Vera. If she heard me, I did not know.

"Was that ok? To push her out like that," the librarian tilted his head.

"Actually, you leave too."

"Eh?"

Before anyone could react, I promptly closed the door on both of them, leaving me alone in the big library. Just to be perfectly sure, I looked around the room, searching for a potential person, but there was none. Only then did I relax.

"Ahh, finally I'm alone," I groaned while flinging my fist in the air.

I slumped to the ground, letting gravity pull me down like a wettened sac.

"Uwah," I massaged my temples wih both hands, "so tired," I cried out.

What I really was looking for, was some alone time.
Talking can be unexpectedly hard, if the goal wasn't to only exchange information.
And since I arrived in this mansion, I had talked to more than 10 people, all with different types of motives. 
I needed a break afterwards, and there was no better place than the always silent library.

To collect my thoughts, I sat down at one of the many old-fashioned desks.

The most important thing was that I had a promise to uphold.
I promised Celestia that I was to show her a new world. A bit of an ambitious dream, I knew.
But not impossible.
The problem lied in the fact that the idea was too abstract. 
I could, just like in my last life, resort to terror and violence. 
That would be entertaining, but I chose that route before only due to my circumstances. There are far more better ways to deliver a message.

But no matter what, I knew that I had to resign myself to a life of villainy. It didn't matter though, since I was more suited for this kind of life.

Because I believed in something fundamentally wrong, I thought a world without rules was the best way to live.

Take Estella for example. A walking contradiction, who, even in her death, was repressed by the notions of this world.

Rules, they were rigid and stale in comparison to the ever changing world.
However it was also the rules that change the most, unable to adhere with the unshaken pillar of human emotions.

Contradictions, contradictions.

All a tale of hypocrisy, the thing I hated the most.

Now even more so, when it is the most precious people, those worth keeping alive the most, that die.

But in this world, in any world, it would be me that was seen as the contradiction. The person most worth dying. It didn't matter though, if the world changed to fit my ideals.

What I needed, to shape the world, my tools, if I may, were resources.

People, status, wealth and another important thing, magic.

Although I did not agree with magic in itself, I did find it to be necessary for my path.
Although I may not be suited for politics, I would need to immerse myself into them.
Although I had a hard time trusting people, I should seek those like-minded.

Seraph was the first person that came to my mind. A rather mysterious girl. However, she and I were similar, I felt it. And she did too. If possible I would like to know more about her, maybe even gain her support.

It was not a big problem if I couldn't, though.

"Hah," I breathed out.

I wanted to relax, but these thoughts kept me preoccupied. I shouldn't worry too much.

In fact, I should focus on another thing. The little game I had started in this household was slowly starting to unfold itself. There were still some necessary steps left, before I could unravel it, so I wanted to set them up as soon as I could.

I stared at the many books, either hidden in the shelves or strewn on the floor. If possible, I would like to learn the language, and read these books.
Books are items that showcased a lot about the current era. Whether it was the genre, date, author or content they all delivered info.
Fictions could reveal the state of a society. Were they happy? Cynical? Divided? All could be extracted by stories which were popular.
Non-Fictions could explain why the society felt that way. They contained statistics, facts and useful information.

So, even though I was not a fan of books, and the mere sight of them had made me feel sleepy already, I decided on giving my best to decipher them.

A book that had caught my attention the moment I entered, was a red book, supported with a golden frame. 
A picture of- what I assume- some kind of animal had been used as a cover. The animal was a fantastical beast, of which I did not knew the name of.
It was hand drawn, and made with a mosaic style, very similar to the the windows in cathedrals. The pages looked old and had a yellowish tint, but were still well preserved.
The book looked expensive, even amongst all the other books, which all had their unique designs.
Other things that I found interesting were a bundle of papers, handwritten and not properly bound, scattered on the desk. There was also a blue book with a crown and some scrolls sealed tightly with wax.

I took everything that remotely seemed worth noting and then began to immerse myself in them.

The well needed silence was soothing to my mind, as I looked over all these unknown symbols, intriguing graphs and beautiful artworks.
