As usual, my driver, Mr Wang drive me to school. When I was going to close my eyes and take a nap, my car suddenly halted.

"S-Sir, I think I hit a girl." Mr Wany stutters.

"What?! How did you?!" I asked.

"I don't know. She close her eyes and if I've seen it right, she also wear earphone." He said.

I sighed. "I will check for her now." I said and got out from the car. I saw a girl sitting on the ground with her bag on the other side. Thank god. She didn't die.

"Are you insane?! Who the hell will close her eyes and listen to music when they cross the road?!" I yelled at her.

Y/N POV

"None of your business, Jeon Jungkook." I said.

"Wait, you know me?" He asked.

"Jeon Jungkook, the popular guy who always flirt with girls in school. Maybe the word 'playboy' can describe the personalities of yours." I replied in monotone.

"Oh...I think you're familiar to me too...Ah! You're the biggest nerd in school!" He exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"Took you so long to recognised me. Thanks for the name though." I said and picked up my bag, ready to leave.

"Wait! Your forearm is bleeding now. Let me help you." He grabbed my wrist and said.

"No need." I replied, trying to yank his hand away but his grip is too strong.

"Just let me help you up." He said.

"I said no need!" I yelled.

"I'm not flirting with you okay?! I'm just helping you like how the others do! Just shut the fuck up and let me treat you wound!" He yelled and take out bandage and alcohol from his bag.

He use the tissue to wipe off the blood from my arm and dipped a cotton ball inside the alcohol. "It might stings a bit." He said, started to clean my wound. I can't help but hissed in pain.

"Now you know it's pain." He mumbled and glare at me. He looks kinda cute with that face. Just like him.....

"Hello!!! Earth to Y/N!!!" His yelling snap me out of my mind.

"What?" I asked.

"Let me drive you to school." He said.

"Hell no. My legs still functioning well." I said and gave his a disgusted look.

"Shut up. You need to accept my offer. Come on!" He said and opened the car door for me.

"Fine." I mumbled.

I quickly got out from his car once we've arrived to school. If one of his fangirl saw me, I'm probably dead.

"Wait!" He grabbed my arm as I was going to leave.

I rolled my eyes. "How about fuck you?" I asked.

I look at his face, clearly disgusted. "What's with that face?" I asked.

"That's what people always says about me. Thank god that you still have a brain like how the others do." I said.

"So does that mean you thought I don't have a brain before?" He asked with gritted teeth.

"Kind of. Think what you want, playboy." I said and left. Staying in the same space with him is suffocating.

"STUPID NERD!!!" I heard him yelled behind me. I let out a chuckle. Too childish.

I walked into the school and most of the people treat me like I'm invisible. Keyword: most of the people.

A group of girl bumped into me, 'accidentally'. "I'm sorry. Didn't see you there nerd. Are you okay?" She asked in a fake concern voice, and with her famous fake smile on her face.

"I'm perfectly fine. Glad that you asked." I said.

"Well I'm glad that you're fine too." She said and motion her minions to follow her.

I shook my head and sighed. Was it so fun to just bumped into me then left?

Being a nerd and a loner in school. That's my life.

Jungkook's POV
"STUPID NERD!!!" I yelled. How dare she said I don't have a brain in an indirect way?

"Woah, someone has a bad mood today. Who makes our maknae that angry?" Taehyung said.

"Back off, alien." I said. He smacked my head hardly.

"Ouch! What was that for?" I asked while rubbing the spot that he hit me.

"I'm still you hyung. You can't insult me like that." He said and pouted.

"More like a baby to me." I said and scoffed.

"You punk-" "Jungkookie!" Jimin yelled.

"I saw you with that nerd just now. Do you....like her?" He asked and wiggles his eyebrows.

I choked on my own saliva. "Are you kidding me?! People who want to date with me queue up from here to the Milky Way! I would never ever like her!" I said.

"Geez, no need to be so reactive towards my word." He said.

"I have a good idea now." Taehyung said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Since you dislike that nerd so much, how about you make her fall for you in three months time? If you success, I'll buy you a new set of video game collection. But if you fail, you need to buy me a brand new Gucci shirt, with your own money." He said.

"What the-Gucci shirt verses video game?! That's too unfair! Gucci shirt costs way more than video game!" I said.

"Well I didn't force you, did I?" He said and shrugged, giving me an innocent look on his face.

I hesitated for a bit. "Fine. Deal." I said.

"Oh yes!!!" He yelled, running into the school.

"Heard that the nerd is a tough one, so good luck with that." Jimin said and patted my back. I nodded my head in agreement. That nerd is really different. Or should I say...weird.

"Let's go." I said. As I walk into the school, a bunch of girl keep squealing, screaming, fangirling over me.

I smirked and winked at them. The screaming got louder than before.

I shook my head and sighed. Was it so fun to scream their lungs out for me?

Him being a fairly intelligent and reasonable person chose to be for one to be reincarnated into one of his favorite book series the inheritance cycle or more commonly known as the Eragon series The Author also have him a freebie and said that when he choose he could travel to other book worlds.

His second wish was to have instant mastery and comprehension he didn't want to be a farmer and he didn't want to die again and that was the easiest way to victory.

His third wish was a system status menu and shop In his past life he had been a shut in nerd and he always wanted a system of his own.

His fourth wish was to have infinite energy or will for magic it is the most powerful tool in this world and almost every other.

His fifth and finial wish was to make his own dragon and Rider weapon.

when asked why he didn't choose more powerful wishes by The Author he just stated that it wasn't fun having so many options just to lose the reason for the options and that was to become stronger, fulfill ones desires and care for the ones he loved. 

He did not know how he would make a connection with anyone in this world that he still considered a book but he would try, most likely fail knowing his social skills, but still try.

after assessing what had happened to him he brought himself to peer to his surroundings.

He was in a small clearing surrounded by an extremely dense Pine Forrest with birds singing and chirping, frankly it was beautiful.

As he took in his surroundings he decided to test all his abilities.

"First things first lets see what my system can do" 

As he thought about it the system menu popped up with four options a status menu, an inventory

 'that would be useful' he thought

a creation kit he guessed that this was for making his custom rider weapon and dragon, and a shop, seeing this he wondered how many system points or whatever they would be called he has if any.

He decided to check the shop first.

When opened his systems shop a notification appeared in his vision it read,

'hey bud Author here I'm giving you a free billion system points to start off with because being an awesome dude is my job, good luck and well i guess I've blessed you already so there is no need'

Seeing the amount of system points Eroses eyes almost popped out of their sockets from surprise, shock, and after calming himself, happiness.  Although He was glad to have so many system points but he was slightly disappointed because didn't want to become mindless like so many other op characters in novels he had read relying on their system or god given blessing to overcome their slightest difficulties he wanted to be the one to solve his problems, because he was sure that he was in one and nothing would convince his fanboy mind otherwise.

'well just in case, if anyone can hear or in this case read what I'm thinking hi *mental cheeky happy face*'

After about an hour of trying to figure out how to get rid of the notification which in that time he had realized he had yet to use his most powerful skill instant mastery and comprehension, in which he had stubbornly refused to use as to not waste this ordeal which he was secretly happy to have, since however godlike he was now he was still a giant fanboy and nerd so he would learn how to use his system without cheats.

after he had finally gotten rid of that cursed thing Eros browsed his system shop finding many things related to his creation kit such as weapon materials like metal, hides, wood, powders, strings, etc he also saw that there was bio materials apparently for making life for instance dragons, and much much more the last and most interesting thing he found was that he could create magic words or words in the ancient language and their affects of course he had to buy the affects and word which costed a surprising amount. 

After words he checked his inventory which was similar to a video games in design but alas it was empty.

He then checked his status menu

A knocked on the door made me stop from flipping the next page of the book I was reading. Before I could stop him from from entering, the door opens.


"What are you reading?" 


"Assassins creed and the death of anyone who would interrupts me." I answered in all seriousness.


"Empress, you shouldn't treat your friend harshly." He said with a constipated face and a fake smile.


"So what do you want me to do?" I asked, arching my eyebrows.


He raised his shoulder with arrogant "A hug will do." I wanna punch his smug face right now.


My dagger swung into thin air towards him. But as expected, he avoided it easily just like the last time.


"Woah! How many dagger was in your drawer? At this point I might have develop relationship with your daggers."  He picked the dagger and put it in his pants.


"Or I'll just quit my job as your Butler and be a dagger collector instead." He acted as if thingking deeply with his right hand on his chin.


"You look stupid." I said with a smug face. "Why are you here anyway?" 


"As I thought you forgot that you have a class today---whoa! Hold the fuck up." He was about to went fron where I'm sitting when Bruno--my dog obstruct him halfway. " Damn. You have a weird ways of getting on my nerves." He exclaimed, pointing his finger to Bruno. Funny thing was my dog let his tongue out as if his mocking Coble.


"I didn't forgot. I'm late anyway so why bother?" I said as I closed the book I'm reading.


He looked to his watch. "If you move a little faster now, you can still catch up to your second subject." He picked up my notebook that was neatly organize in my study table and put in in my bag.


"Why do you know every single piece of my daily schedule?"  I asked while watching him getting startled when Bruno licks his feet, nearly kissing the floor when he accidentally steeped the pingpong ball and when he looked at me with a weird expression.


He slowly turned to face me while holding some merchandize on my bed. I raised my eyebrow while waiting for him to talk the nonsense.


  "Since when did you become a fan of these  bunch of gay groups?" He said with fucking big question mark on his face. If I could describe the atmosphere right now, Hell is a fucking understatement.


I frowned and if looks could kill. I'm telling you, I killed him already in many different ways.


"They're not gays you damn stupid moron!" I said, brutaly thinking some ways on how to end his career and life. "Don't say anything bad about BTS. Not on my watch Coble." I said while stopping myself to drag and throw him in the terrace.


"Okay! I'll raise the white flag. You're like on the underground war zone, chill up!" He chuckled with his two hands raised on air.


He's presence became sucks on my watch.


"H-hey, I'm just kidding." He said with nervous on his voice. I swear I'm serious when I say, don't fucking mess with my favorite persons.


"Their feet was fucking more splendid and gorgeous than your presence." I said as I rolled my eyes and stepped towards him.


He seems shocked to what I've said. Well, I'm just stating the obvious fact.


"I'll drive you to your school." He offred.


"Does your school near from the Valorem's?" I asked but I didn't get any proper response. He just did his annoying grin.


"The Empress is asking you peasant." I said while throwing him an Empress aura.


"You're maybe the Empress but you look just Vivian Ellaine to me." He said smiling. I was taken aback from what he said with his nonchalant face and deep voice.


I turned my back and quickly headed to the open door. I heard him shout 'hey' but I pretended to hear nothing.

'How Vivian Ellaine looked like?' The thought keeps  bothering me until we reached the school. I couldn't even describe myself. I'd only know I was born to reign the Mafia. That's all. I was raised to be stronger among others. But how was me? How was the sleeping me inside this pretentious body?


With the mind clouded with bubbles of thought, I didn't noticed that I'm already out of the corridor's line. I was nearly bumbing my forehead to the pillar when someone's hand gets in the way. He put it right exactly to where my forehead would bumped.


I heard him grunted a little. I was about to face him when something catch my sense of smell. 


My thoughts were averted to the strawberry smell on his palm. I wasn't so sure if I'm correct 'coz after I fainted yesterday, it seemed like even the tinniest thing on the kitchen smelled like the perfume of the mysterious Cheetah masked guy I've strangely danced with at the party.

I only knew I fainted after I felt a severe pain in my head. Then I woke up in late 3 am in the morning already lying on my bed. Still puzzled of what are those blurry scenarios.

 Is it even real? Or it maybe it happened in the past? Nah. it's impossible.

I knew I wasn't being delusional when I turned to faced the guy that is deliciously licking the melting Ice cream on his other hand. He looked like a lost beggar boy on the street and his quite familiar to me. 


"Aren't you the weak nerd from the other day?" I asked. But instead of answering my question, he's so busy licking his fingertip with the melted ice cream on it.

I stared at him and so as he. A sudden unfamiliar yet a little  bit of strange feeling that I've felt  before made me froze for a moment when our eyes locked.


"Do you know that this pillar is harder than your fist and much stronger than your kick?" He uttered that made me frowned in disbelief.

 He's definitely the nerd guy who got beaten up by the wannabe gang students from the lowest clans.

 
I sighed inside my head when he broke the silence. I was near from breaking our staring contest but my pride stopped me. Halting the whichever I've started was never my thing.


"Did the punches and kicks of those little rats made your tongue straight?" I rebuttaled.

Though its good that he spoke before the atmosphere gets awkward, he's choice of question was getting on my nerves. Tell me if there's an existing stupid ass bitch who's not aware  that a fucking pillar is fucking harder than your fucking kicks and fucking fist? Wait until I became that stupid bitch and show you what harder and stronger must be like.

"  You're not stuttering anymore." I added when he ignored my question AGAIN. 

'Ugh. this nerd! He has a weird way of getting on my nerves.'


I noticed his eyes became uneasy. It shaken a little and stopped as it started. He stratched awkwardly his nape. I'm just standing there watching him getting nervous and being naive and I wanna scold myself for being wanderer of new stupid things around me.

"Uhm...Ah, t-thanks---" 

"You shouldn't just have let other people to do things for you that you'll be thankful of. It'll gets on your way." I said after I cut him off. I'm a total stranger to that 'T' word. 


"Huh?" He confusedly asked. He's a completely innocent and unaware to what environment he entered.

I'd easily get bored and lost interest so I did what people usually doing to get out in an unwanted conversation. I turned my back, living him with a puzzle on the face.


"Piece of shit advice..." But then, I cannot leave with an unfinish business so after a few step, I stopped. I tutned to faced him but to my surprise, he's with somebody.


The moment our eyes locked for the second time around, I closed my fist to loosen up my breathing. What on earth is the meaning of this? Why do I felt the same heavy feeling I've felt yesterday's night when I was with the mysterious guy on the dance hall? 



"Hi! Remember me?"

A guy with a narrow eyes and a bright smile.


He was standing beside the nerd with his hand snake on the man's shoulder. Nerd guy was just right there looking small compared to the latter. He's height reach only until the neck of the newcomer guy.



"Do you remember me, young lady?" I averted my eyes to him. 



Even I dig up my memory right now, he's complete existence was nowhere to be found. I frowned a little and squish my eyes but that only made my head aches.


"Hey! You're ain't answering me!"


"Why? do I have to?" 


"What the? of course you have 'coz I'm asking!"


Okay I snapped. He awaken the sleeping bitch.


"Irrelevant logic. So you'll kill yourself if I tell you 'coz I'm asking you?" With a flicking eyebrows, I argued.


This such a waste of time but I'm Enjoying it. Maybe I am that bored this past few days so even this tiny stupid conversation was so productive to me. I hella need a new games to play!


I guess it's true that you have to be so extra careful in making a wish. 'Coz wish do come true to people who's bored enough to mess with the destiny.


A phone call halted our nonsense throwing of shits. 


The caller ID is BeatBox

I quickly answer it out of excitement.

"Should I tell you straight or should I beat around the bush?"

"Beat around the bush." I immediately answered.


After a seconds, I heard a sounds like "tikatikatikatika poom poom poom" "tik tik buzzzt tughss pow pow" and some other strange sound that we make sometimes in talking. I also heard a few key of piano that is being pressed. After the sounds, it leaves me grinning. I was like a little kid who's grounded for a month but finally getting a comeback to her real life.


"You're just on time. I wanna play that song." 

And with as simple as that, my mood found its missing light. A peeking smile was plastered on my face when I left those two idiots in awe. The norrow-eyed guy kept calling me but I'm in my pinnacle of cloud nine to noticed this nobody.

"As you know Finn and Miley are orphans. Finn joined a gang and he got powerful to feed his sister and now he is the head of the gang. He worked hard every day to get strong to protect his sister." 

"They're so good!! But I heard Edward is a ruthless king." The nerd said and the blonde girl nodded her head with a faint smile and explained. "Tell me about Aggie!! I freaking love her character and just how innocent she is!!" The nerd said with love in her eyes and the blonde giggled and asked, teasingly. "Haha, so gay for her huh?" 

"Ah, stop it. Don't tease me!" The nerd girl's face redden for a second and she covered her rosy and hot cheeks so, the blonde girl wouldn't know she is flushing like a tomato.

"Aggie is an interesting girl in my case. Poor girl doesn't even know she lost her real self. If that cunning evil woman allowed Aggie to go to school. Barbie stood up from the chair when Aggie opened her eyes and smiled at her in relief.

"Thank God, I was in time or-" Barbie shouted at Aggie in worry and anger and stopped midway and just hugged her. 

Aggie looked confused and Barbie wiped her tears and pulled away and said. "Don't go into that secret room, again!" 

"Okii but where are everyone?" Aggie nodded and asked.

"Ah, I forgot to inform them I found you," Barbie said and took her phone and called Edward.

"I found her in the- don't worry, she's fine." Barbie stopped herself from saying the truth and was worried that Edward might get mad when he learns Aggie went into the secret room so, she hid it from him.

She hung up the call and looked at Aggie and smiled but just then Finn barged into the room, looking worried and he looked at Aggie who looked fine and he sighed in relief. He walked closer to the bed and hugged her as he said. "I was worried about you when I saw the news so, I hurried to you!"

Edward walked inside the room with Kyle to see Finn holding Aggie in his arms and he slammed the door, close in furious. Finn pulled away and turned back to look at Edward and clenched his fists.

"She must stay in her room until she reaches 18... no school, no friends and no freedom." the evil woman ordered.

Throughout the night I slaved away at the structure of my security system, sometimes throwing things on the wall, sometimes the floor. Many poisons were thrown together at a moment's notice, my alchemy factory turned into a poisoner's fantasy.

Knives, spikes, forks, needles, pills, all poisoned with the strongest poisons I could make. They weren't lethal, instead they were some of the few that I could make that would be either impossible to trace, or impossible to cure. At least at my level they would be impossible to do, a greater alchemist than me could cure and detect these. I was banking on the fact that they weren't alchemists themselves.

If any alchemist saw me, they'd think me a mad man with a filter mask on my face I was handling highly poisonous plants, fungi, and venomous liquids like they were child's toys. Golems running around, not only to bring things to me but to organize what was there. 

"God, Nikolai, your book smarts are terrifying. Now I understand the true power of a nerd." I shivered at the concoctions around me knowing their true power. Soon, my room looked almost the same as it did before, some areas there were pebbles on the floor, a few extra lightstones on the wall, a few new pairs of shoes. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

With a smile I did the final touch, drilling a hole through the door I added a red lightstone turning it into a simple golem. "Now some well deserved rest!"

Laying down in the bed I activated one of the countdown clocks, and fell asleep.

I woke with a start as a banjo like sound filled the room with terrible melody that would haunt any musician's ears for eternity. Sadly I was never taught anything about music, nor had I thought to put in a way for it to stop before the thirty seconds of 'music' was up.

"Disperse!" An explosion happened as I reversed the properties of the spell, the alarm clock turning into rubble once again.

Getting up and getting dressed, I looked around my room, positive that the renovations would be positive ones I hurried to go to Solomon's room which was printed on the token. As I stepped out of the room I turned towards it, saying "Activate Security" before closing the door. The crystal on the door pulsed red showing everything was working now.

With another book in my hand I lightly jogged into the distance keeping mana flowing through my legs. After finishing the first advanced book took me some time, though if anyone heard how little they'd probably beat me black and blue for being unsatisfied with my progress.

A few twists and turns around the dusty hallway and I was there, the place was organized in such a way that there as a grid system. So to get from my room, 49c to Solomon's 56g was just 8 down and 4 across. I was surprised how close he was to me. With my father's influence I actually had a larger room than I should at my stage so being near a teacher wasn't a that strange.

Knocking twice, I waited patiently as I flipped through the pages, intrigued by the ingenuity of the writer's methods. An hour passed and I finished the book, looking at the door a bit confused so I knocked twice more. "Maybe he isn't in?" 

I sat down after another ten minutes then I heard a crash behind the door and a small explosion. The ground shook with the explosion with enough force I was glad I was sitting down. Deciding to wait, knowing that Solomon would have to open his door soon I took my time going over the technique of the book in my head. 

*Cough Cough*

The door flew open and a man stood there, dusting off his robes as smoke poured out of his room into the vents of the hallway. Looking up at him I put the book back into my bag, standing up. "Hello Sir Solomon, I was placed in your care two days ago."

"Ah yes, yes, Nikolai right? What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" He looked confused as he tried to straighten his long burnt beard. His giant eyebrows were raised in a perpetual look of surprise with their bottoms burned away. With all of his hair, and the fact that he only stood to about hip height made one word pop into my head, Muppet.

"Sir, it's actually ten in the morning."

"Oh?" He looked at me and made an annoyed sound, "Then why are you so late?"

"I knocked but no one answered, if I was to pound harder that would be a disrespect." I made a slight bow to my new teacher.

"Don't be such a kiss ass! You're here to learn the law of creation, so get your ass in here!" With a surprising amount of strength he dragged me inside, "Stop calling me sir this and sir that, makes me feel like an old man. I'll have you know I'm only two hundred! Still in the prime of my youth." 

I didn't know what youth this old man was talking about as he waddled to his desk with his cane, his back like a half moon. Following behind him closely I nearly lost him twice behind the piles of books that were all over the place stacked at least six feet high that left me in a miniature labyrinth. His room was at least twice the size of mine and I could see why, one of the walls to another room had been destroyed only leaving a slight divide on the ceiling where a wall had once been.

"Also if you use flowery words with me, or act nice because of some bullshit reason like I'm your teacher, that means you hold no value in your own thoughts. Don't put on a show and I won't hit you like a show horse."

Breathing in, I smiled, it smelled of an old library with filled with dust and old books. If he kept things neatly stacked on bookshelves this place would be a booklover's paradise. His squacky voice yelled back at me from a desk filled with alchemical equipment, "Pick a pile, start reading. You have four hours to read, one to ask questions, then leave me alone."

This worked for me, as I picked a book at random from the piles of books around me. None of them seemed to be books on spells, all of them seemed to be theories and formula, ways to create various tools and apparati. The one that I chose talked about steam power, and how it was superior to electrical energy. Being from the modern world I didn't agree with it at all but I sat down and read anyway.

Within the poorly lit room both of us read, my hands going through the motions of golem creation as I sat there. A handful of stones rolled around with each motion swirling around one another changing into different shapes before falling apart and turning into different shapes.

I was almost at the stage where they were detailed enough to paint, a random thought came into my mind and I started making tiny Orcs. "Tch, this author doesn't know the earth from the heavens." 

Setting the book to the side after I was done with it, I delved into another book but before I could start reading a mild cough got my attention. "Why do you think that book is trash?"

"Weight to energy, there are plenty of fuels out there that have a much better ratio. Heck even pure mana has a better energy to weight ratio, it's just that the containers for it are expensive. It's better to invest into lowering the cost of mana batteries rather than invest into steam power. This book might have been useful a few hundred years ago, but now it's just a relic."

"You're forgetting about fire mages!" He spoke up with a smile on his face, seeming to be reminiscing about something.

"No, I am not." Growing a bit annoyed I enunciated every word. "You are comparing a universal power, to a limited one. It's like saying that sunstones are better than natural light because you can take them underground."

"Watch how you're talking to your elders!"

"I thought you didn't want to hear flowery words or bullshit."

"Fine then, see if I teach you anything!" He grumbled, crossing his arms.

Since Solomon didn't press anymore as I started reading the next book, this one taught the fundamentals of perpetual energy. It ended up immediately in the pile, a surprised look went over my teacher's face as I did so.

After thirty minutes I collected only six books that were worth my time in the large pile, the pile of discarded books making Solomon look at me rather confused. "Many of those books are rather good reads for an inspiring creation mage."

Letting out a sigh I closed the book I was reading, this was going to be a conversation, "They follow the wrong path."

"And what path should they follow?"

"Science! This magic is the most scientifically driven of the other forms of magic. Just because you have an idea doesn't mean you should put it to paper as if it is fact."

"You talk about science like it has a place in magic, you create golems from mear energy inside your body!"

"A power that can blow up towns if you gather enough in one place, it's a very efficient fuel that passes through matter with set instructions. It's mysterious but it has its own rules."

"Many people believe in the science in those books, there are formations that have lasted thousands of years what do you call that if not perpetual energy?" Solomon didn't seem displeased by my rebuttals so I continued.

"Any closed area would eventually find a state of entropy, that is fact. So there must be an outside force fueling them, or it just has a fuel that can last thousands of years. No form of energy lasts forever."

"The stars.."

"Millions of years, not forever. Believe me, energy conservation is all well and good but we can never make something that will continue forever without an outside force acting on it." Flipped open my book, going back to where I was, "Even the law of creation states that if a effect is granted, an equal price is paid."

"Bwahahaha.. Kid, I like you more and more. Using the laws of my own magic in an argument against me." He wiped a tear from his eye, and tossed me a rather heavy tome. "The books in here, I used them all to weed out truth from fiction. This is what I consider to be the pearls floating in the shit."

Catching the tome, I placed the other book to the side, reading the cover of the book, "The Law of Everything: A Precursor to Creation."

"Ha, you have ambitions if you want to call this the law of everything." Chuckling, I dived into the book, Solomon giving me a prideful look.

"Try to find another book that describes the world better than I, that is my soul, and I would never bet against my soul." The old man laughed heartily, before going back to his experiments.

The first page was opened to me, the text laying before me made me pause, "Trust nothing, everything is a lie. Question the world, or everything is true."

So begins my journey, from death to life and everything in between. I have taken over the body of Nikolai Nightingale, and I will learn the path of a true alchemist with the genetics of monsters and with my by my side. For a true alchemist is never mostly harmless...

Hazel's POV

*Kring* *Kringg* *Kringgg*

Pinatay ko Ang nakakairitang alarm clock ko at tumayo. Tiningnan ko ang orasan at nakita ko na 5:30 palang. "Makapag-ayos na nga, baka malate pa ako."

Naligo ako at nag-ayos. Kumuha ako ng cereal sa refrigerator at kinain ito, Mamaya na siguro ako bibili ng mga pagakin at mga needs ko.

Kinuha ang bag pack ko na laman ang mga gamit sa school. 

Lumabas ako ng apartment ko at naghintay ng taxi. Nung nakito ko ang isang taxi, pinara ko ito. 

"Saan ka miss?" Tanong sa akin ng driver, yun nalang ang palagi nilang tanong pagkasakay ko sa kanila. "Alam niyo po ba kung saan ang Royal Academy? Doon po kasi ang punta ko." I said.

"Aba, siyempre. Sikat na sikat kaya yung school na yun. Doon ka ba mag-aaral?" I nodded my head as a confirmation.

"Ingat ka. Sabi ng anak ko na dating nag-aaral doon maraming mean girls doon. Mga kabataan nga naman." He said and we stayed quiet after that.

'Find your man and your free from deal.' That keeps repeating in my head. How can I find a man if I don't have any interest in them?

"Andito na tayo." Nagbayad ako at bumaba na. Lumantad sa akin ang napakalaking eskuwelahan, parang andito na lahat ng mga facilities.

Pumunta ako sa Dean's office at kinatokang pinto nito. "Come in!" At pumasok na ako.

"Magandang Umaga po! I am Stella Veroda, a transferee from America." Bati ko may nilabas siyang papel at tumingin sa akin. Ngumiti siya tapos tumingin ulit sa akin. Binaba niya ang files na iyon at tumayo.

"Good morning, Ms. Veroda. Welcome to Royal Academy, I'm Lucas Collins This is your schedule and classroom." He hand me a paper at tumingin ako dito. Nakalagay dito Kung saan ang classroom ko at mga schedule ng klase ko.

"Thank you, Mr. Collins." I bow and walk out.

I walk around the campus and saw A-2 I come inside the room at wala paring tao.

People started coming and noticed me.

'A transferee?'

'So plain.'

'Ugly.'

'A nerd?'

'We found another prey!'

Words that comes in the mouths of those who come in and notice me. The teacher also come in and noticed me.

"Is there any transfer?"

"Yes." I answer.

"Please introduce yourself here at front." Pumunta ako sa harapan at nagpakilala.

"Hello everyone. I'm Stella Veroda, transferee from America. Nice to meet you all. " I said while looking at their eyes.

"You look plain and ugly girl."

"Add the word nerd at your sentence."

" 'Sometimes those opinions will be ones you don't like.' Heard that sayings? Don't judge me by my appearance." I said and they roll their eyes, mga matataray.

"Go back to your seat now." Utos sa akin nung teacher at sinunod ko naman.

Inumpisahan niya na magturo at ang first subject namin is Math. Math is my favorite subject so I really study it, nung alam ko na lahat ng tinuturo sa school it became boring, tumingin nalang ako sa Labas ng bintana baka mas magustuhan ko ma.

"Ms. Veroda, can you solve this?" Pumunta agad ako sa harap at tumingin sa whiteboard, inanalize ko muna bago sagutan.

Their Jaw drops because it's one of the hardest equation in mathematics but I easily manage to answer it.

"You can now seat." the teacher said.

It's break time at nagdecide ako na pumunta sa cafeteria. Pumila ako sa pila at naghintay.

Habang naghihintay may nakita akong lalaki na nagbabasa ng libro about physics— that's Sam, right?

Sam is my childhood friend in America, he don't know things about my family, he just know about me living a normal life there. Parehas kami ng hilig—ang magbasa so close kami. Sa tingin ko hindi namaan niya ako matatandaan, 10 years na ang nakalipas eh. Mas bata siya ng 1 taon kaysa sa akin.

Nag-order ako at binayaran ito nung paalis na ako sa pila my tumapik sa likod ko—si Sam?!

"Yo! Long time no see Hazel." He greeted me while smiling, he is really cute. 

"Long time no see, book worm." I also greeted while smirking.

'Hazel?'

'I thought it's Stella?'

Another gossips from my beloved school mates.

"Let's go, seat down." Sam dragged me at his table and let me sit.

"What are they saying? Who's Stella?" Naku po! Paano ko to papalusutan? Isip, Hazel, Isip.

"Me." I said while eating my food.

"I thought your name is Hazel?"

"I lied." Kumain na naman ako ng pagkain ko.

"Well, why? May I know the reason?" I swear curiosity will kill humanity.


"Dahil hindi ako basta-basta nagbibigay ng mga information about sa akin sa mga taong hindi ko naman kakilala." Sabi ko.

"Well, That's reasonable." He said at salamat sa diyos nakalusot din.

"Nagtransfer ka ba dito?" I nodded. "Alam mo na ang pamamalakad sa school na to?"

"Same as other school, right?"

"Nope." 

"Edi ano pala?" I am getting curious and curios here.

"If sa ibang school, ang pinaka mataas ay Principal, sumunod mga teacher tapos student council na, dito, Principal tapos Royalties tapos teachers?" I raised my eyebrows curious what it is.

I just say that Curiosity will kill humanity but I'm being too curious here.

"Curious, right? Meaning the Royalties have more authority than the teachers, many rumors said that they exceeded the teachers knowledge that's why they are more respected, but the teachers are also respected by them and other student." Interesting. "By the way, lahat ng mga binibili mo dito sa school is base sa score mo. Bibigyan ka nila ng pera based on your test, quiz, and performance score. Kunwari sa test, 99/100 ka, bibigyan ka nila ng Php 99 sa bank account mo, pag 0 ka wala kang makukuha. Yung perang binibigay nila sayo is the only money you can spend here at school, no matter how rich you are if you don't have brain it's useless." He explained and I am having interest here at this school.

"But many rich kid also buy their scores, so yeah, it's still unfair." He said with a sad tone.

"Hmmm... I don't think so, that it's unfair. You said this royalties has more authority than the teacher, as long as they don't agree with the teachers it cannot be perform. Meaning all of the student here are smart. Pero pwede nila yun magawa outside the school, meaning there are still possibility na nandadaya sila." I said. This school is like a maze at dapat mong malutas. "This school is really interesting." I smirk.

'Life is a maze from which we never escape. Every decision takes us in a different direction and every time we turn one way we could just as easily have turned the other.'

Hazel Aiz Lewis the only nerd at Royal Academy which is only for rich, beautiful, and gorgeous personel. People started bullying her because she got none of it. Well she really don't bother to comprehend that things until they bully her physically. 

Gray Ace Collins the Heir of King's Emphire the rank 1 in top 15 richest family. The 'Campus King' of Royal Academy. People look up at him since he already have the looks, talent, fame, brain, and money.

The two Prodigies unite, the whole world anticipated. What will happen when those two become a great definition of perfection that makes the Queen come out of her barrier?

izuku raced down the sidewalk almost tripping over himself trying to get thare on time. it was his first day of UA . he almost tripped and fell as he got past the school gate only for kaski to catch him

" watch whare you going nerd" kaski hissed as izuku got back on center only to then run away fearing bakugo as always.   " how the he did a qurkless nobody like him get into the hero course?"  kaski wondered as he walked to class 1A . when the door was slid open the first thing his eyes landed on was the green messy haird boy. it pissed kaski off that no matter whare he was. deku got his attention. it made him want to blow the nerd Into bits . just then his eyes landed on the brown haired girl who seemed way to close to the loser. 

" oh so you want me to call you deku?"  uraka chirped happly blushing as she talked to the green haired boy who was writing in a note book. not really paying to much attention

" yep that's what I am called" izukus soft voice said. his voice was a shock to kaski who now was setting behind him. he hadn't spoke to deku in ten months and sudenly so much has changed . his voice no longer annoyed kaski . it actually sounded nice.

izukus head purked as the sleepy looking teacher who called himself aizawa began speaking .


after class was over izuku sat alone writeing in his book only to have it snached sudenly . his head darted to the familiar blond who had it now in his hands 

" what's the qurkless looser going to do now. cry?" kaski mocked izuku. who seemed to have had enough of kaskis games . as all he did was grab his book from kaskis hand and yank it away before leaving the classroom. bakugo now noticing how much taller and stronger deku  has gotten . 

in the hallway izuku checked to make sure nothing was messed up or Burnt . only to sudenly be pinned to a wall . 

" what the fuck wh-" izuku stoped his words in mid sentence as kaski stared. Inpressed the useless deku could sware as he just stood thare pinning him in place .

" let me up kachan I have things to do" izuku growled makeing kachan gip him tighter 

" you dissaperd for ten months and come back with attatude . I don't like it " bakugo barked as he made a explosion on dekus shoulder . only for the small teen to howl in pain and become teary eyed. this makeing something spark in bakugo

Lucien’s hands were trembling slightly. Carefully he opened the book like turning to a new page of his future. Within his expectation, the words in the book were the same as the ones in the magic tomes he collected at the witch’s chamber.

He knew how to learn a language well. As long as he learned the pronunciation of the letters and the basic rules of spelling, he could learn more by himself outside of the class by reading intensively.  

Victor repeated the pronunciations patiently two to three times on each word. Lucien followed him carefully and wrote down some notes on the paper. “Read them until you becomes more fluent.” Victor said, “When it’s good enough, we’ll move to basic spelling and grammar.”

What he said was actually more like an encouragement. As a beginner, it would be almost impossible for Lucien to match the sounds and the letters in such a short amount of time.

The notes Lucien jot down were Chinese characters. He tried to relate these letters with his mother tongue, just like he had done when he started learning English. Again, Lucien read through it and he stayed focused, so the knowledge would enter his spirit library.

As expected, a new shelf labeled “Common Tongue” appeared, on which there was a black hardcover book full of the strange characters, the same one that was lying in front of him on reality.

Lucien opened the book in the library but found out only the first few pages were there, and the rest of the book was simply blank. He went through the book on the table quickly, and as he imagined, the spiritual version became complete instantly.

“Yes!” Lucien cheered in his mind.

With the help of the library, Lucien became more confident. It was very hard from the beginning. Several times later he became better and better. After what seemed like the fifteenth time, he got finally satisfied with his ability to remember them.

Of course, Lucien knew this would not last long. If he did not review that in a regular basis, they would be forgotten very soon. At the same time, Lucien also found out that his spiritual power, which helped him with the spellcasting before, could help improve his memory as well.

At this time, Victor came back to teach Lucien again. After a while helping the students, his face looked tired but also more relaxed. Probably Cohn was right: Victor was using teaching as a distraction. 

“Have you memorized all of them?” Victor asked, smiling. “Let me check it.”

Like a primary student facing his teacher, Lucien was a bit nervous. He did forget some of them, but mind then drifted into his library and he started reading according to his notes. It wasn’t Lucien’s intention to cheat, but both his money and time were limited. He had plenty of time reviewing them again in the library later.

Victor was surprised, “Have you learned before?”

Some of the students raised their heads and looked at Lucien.

“No, I haven’t.” answered Lucien.

“Impressive.” Victor commended, “Then we will start learning how to spell.”

While some students were surprised, some of them scorned. In their eyes, Lucien must have learned it before, and was just another scheming guy who wanted to impress Mr. Victor and earn the chance to be his formal music student.

Inside the study room, the three most noble among them had started learning music.

However, that did not distract Lucien at all. There was only one goal in his mind: learn as much as possible. Time is money! A day’s learning cost a lot!

“All right, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s take a break.” Victor clapped gently and then walked upstairs. At the same time, the servants came with tea and fruits.

The scent of Jasmine and lemon filled the room. Some of the fruits Lucien knew, and some he did not.

A young guy decently dressed smiled at the classmates around him, with a piece of tablature in his hand. “It seems like Mr. Victor got some inspiration. We may call it a day now, if his inspiration keeps flowing.” He looked a bit older than Lucien. His eyes were long and narrow and his nose straight. Among them, this guy was pretty outstanding.

A noble girl in a wine-colored dress was sitting right beside him. “If class finishes earlier, we’re gonna have an extra one during the weekend. Don’t get too excited.” She responded in a lazy voice, "But I do hope Mr. Victor finishes his new song for the concert as soon as possible. So we will finally be able to start practicing with the orchestra. Sitting in the room, merely reading tablatures and playing flute by myself can never compete with a real rehearsal."

Around seventeen or eighteen, she was pretty good-looking: hair long and bright red, like fire, thick and sexy lip, and her waist was not tightened like most noble girls - otherwise she would not be able to play the flute well.

Looking at her serious face, Lott laughed, “The first violinist, the man who is as handsome as a silver moon… You like Rhine, don’t you? Felicia?”

The first violinist, also called concertmaster, played a significant role in a symphony orchestra. When the conductor was absent, the first violinist would take the baton.

“I just feel he has excellent skills, much better than the last one.” Felicia argued, but her face flushed, “Don’t you think his solo for violin sonata No.1 in G minor was really impressive?”

Talking about music, Lott became serious and excited. They started discussing sonatas and suites. Other noble students also joined them, showing their great interest. Even a pretty insightful comment made by a brown-haired girl with ordinary family background won their consent. 

In Aalto, music was another common tongue.

However, consciously or subconsciously, the noble students still often ignored the others, while the common ones treated Lucien indifferently and tried to get close to the ones of higher status. For noble students it was likely that the ordinary and the poor did not even deserve their attention. There were no common things between them, as they had come from different worlds.

There were no bitter words, nor scorn. But the cold wall was always there, preventing those of different social statuses from getting along.

But for Lucien, none of these mattered. He was trying to make full use of every minute or even second, absorbing the knowledge like a dry sponge thrown into an ocean. 

Some of their humming came into Lucien’s ears. He found music here was very similar to that of Earth. There were just some differences on notes.

After a while, Lucien raised his head. The students were still discussing. Lucien took a sip from his tea cup and dove into his book again.

Unfortunately, Mr. Victor’s inspiration did not last long. Several minutes later, he walked downstairs with a tired and anxious face. 

Going back to teaching definitely helped him a lot.

Lucien worked hard. By the end of the class, Lucien remembered most of the spelling rules and stored them in his spirit library.

Their study ended around ten past four in the afternoon. Except for Lott, Felicia and another noble teen named Herodotus, who stayed to practice with instruments, the rest of the students left the hall in a row.

Out of the hall, there were two carriages waiting. The brown horses were tall and strong, snorting. The two noble students were surely envied by the rest. 

Most nobles must maintain their decent look no matter if they were actually doing well or not.

The carriages left in a cloud of dust. The other three students, however, headed towards Purple Lily district as a group, chatting and laughing.

And thus Lucien was left behind, reviewing what he learned in his mind like a nerd.

……

“You’re learning from Mr. Victor? He’s the top musician!” After dinner, Joel was quite excited, “Little Evans, are you really going to carry on my music dream?”

“Every dog has its day, uncle Joel. Probably I can.” Lucien replied playfully.

After coming back to his home, lying in his almost-broken, shaky bed, Lucien entered into his library and started reading one of the magic notes, trying to understand the words in it.

Of course, Lucien was not expecting that he could learn how to read within one-day study. He was just trying to read some to reinforce his memory.

Henry walks back to Chris who was waiting for him.

"Took you long enough"
"He he sorry it took so long friend"
"Wellll? tell me what happened" Chris said smirking .
"I got her number, and I also picked a date that we could hangout and get to know each other" Henry said grinning
"Wow you did all that by yourself I'm so proud , but you forgot something genius"
"And what would that be " Henry said with a smirk look on his face.
"Are you stalling cause you don't have the guts to ask her to be your lab partner" 
"No of course not, it's just tha..."
Chris interrupted Henry, "You know that lab classes start next week and if you don't have a partner you will be paired up with someone else and end up with that person for the rest of the semester"
"What about you?, why haven't you found anyone"
"Well it's complicated, hehe but I really don't care who I'm paired with I think I got the skills to pass with anyone, you on the other hand have someone in mind and you haven't asked her yet"

Henry walked to his bike, "That means I have only one chance left"
Chris put his hands on Henry's shoulder.
"Better make that last chance count"
Henry smiled "I'll do my best and I've got a plan" 
Chris was amazed after hearing those words, "Care to explain?"
"Ok firstly I think I should..... "  

Henry explained his plans to Chris they got on their bikes and started riding home. 

Already amazed by the fact that Henry actually had a plan, Chris had only one thing to say, "It's crazy and daring but it might work, I'm completely shocked have you been hiding your planning skills from me all these years we could have gotten out of so much trouble " 
Henry rubbed his head and gave a cold laugh, "Hehe, but this plan has a 57% chance of working tho but if I succeed I think I could get an opportunity to tell her how I feel" 
"And if it goes wrong?"
"Let's just say I hope it goes right this time"
"I'll help you anyway I can but you better be ready to entertain before that time reaches"
"I got a plan for that too, I got the book!"
"Have you been using it?"
"Well I have, it makes it easy for me to comprehend some things I don't really know. I finished reading chapter 2 a few days ago and it helped my confidence"
"So your plan is to read more, you nerd!!"
"Hey! your a nerd too"
"I'm a cool nerd"
"There is no such thing"
"Haters gonna hate" Chris said sticking out his tongue.

Chris decided to stay at Henry's house for sometime so he rode with Henry to his house. They got into the house and found out no one was home so Henry unlocked the door and they went into the living room.

Henry brought out the book from his closet then flipped to the next chapter. Awaiting anxiously for what he might find out.
"Found it!!"
The Chapter had a title that made Henry feel very nervous. He read the title out loud, "Finding out what she likes"
Chris had a charming look on his face as he read a couple of lines into the chapter and decided to quote out some words in the book so Henry would be more nervous, so Chris read the page aloud, "In other to get comfortable with someone you need to learn most to almost everything about the person, start with something causal then progress to the personal ensure to do it in a way as to not look suspicious, also try talking about yourself see if you have something in common...."
Chris looked at Henry who was trying to calm down and think but wasn't cause he was reading out loud and this mad Chris laugh.
"Ha ha ha, bro good luck"
"....."
Chris sat down in front of Henry and looked at his nervous face, "Your gonna ignore me?! you know you can't ignore me for long" 
"I hate you so much"
"Haha yeah I know I'm the best and you love me" Chris said patting Henry's head
Henry shrugged Chris hand off his head,"Well it's a long shot but I think I can make it work if I read and practice more" 
"Your really something my friend, this is gonna be fun to watch"

Henry's mother just came home a saw them reading in the living room.
"Chris are you staying for some cookies?" Henry's mother said entering the kitchen
"I would love some but I think I should be heading home we've got school tomorrow and a lot of things to do", Chris looked at Henry and winked
"Well I'll pack it for you then"
Henry's mother packed some cookies and gave it to Chris.
"Thank you, they look delicious"
"Say hi to your mum for me"
"I will, see ya later Henry"
Chris said bye to Henry and went outside got on his bike and rode away.
Henry's mum looked through the window as Chris rode away.
"You've got a nice friend Henry"
"Not so nice mum he is a pain sometimes"
"You'd better get some food and take a shower before finishing that book you were reading"
"Yes mum" 

Henry went into the kitchen to get some food then he decided to call Rosie maybe talk to her on the phone.

"What could go wrong I just want to check up on her" Henry said to himself while reaching for his phone.
