The King stood up from his throne and walked towards the magic circle that had been drawn in front of him. Then he slit open his finger with his blade and drew symbols on the magic cubes. These magic cubes were gathered to support the amount of mana that it would take to summon the hero which the King did not have as much. 

There were a total of Eight magic cubes each stored with magic of its own element and the King marked these cubes with his blood so as to draw mana from the cube and use it to power the magic spell that He was about to cast. The King began chanting the spell that was passed down from his forefathers and only the people of his family could use this spell. But the requirements to use this spell were so many and difficult that it could only be cast every five hundred years.

All the people present were watching very carefully as they were witnessing a magic that they had never seen before and will never live to see it again. After the King finished his chanting and the cast the spell the glowing mana cubes suddenly darkened as their mana was sucked out and was delivered to the King who used it to cast the spell. 

Suddenly the Ground started shaking and the sky darkened and rumbled with thunder and the King fell to his knees coughing up blood as He was exhausted from casting the magic spell and his body could not handle the strain of the mana. The magic circle started to glow and suddenly with a loud boom and blinding light the circle disappeared and only a man was left lying on the floor.

'hhmmm arggghhh why is my body feeling so hot. Its like its on fire and burning but I can't open my eyes nor can I move, whats happening to me or rather where am I, did I not die?'

Shepherd was feeling these emotions and feelings suddenly his body temprature went down and his whole body relaxed like he had never felt these sensations. He slowly opened his eyes and saw an unfamiliar ceiling why was there a ceiling here he should be in a plain field surrounded by enemies. 

Then he slowly sat up straight and checked his temple and was dumbfounded there was no bullet hole there much less a wound and even his shoulder and left arm had healed. How was this possible he was shot dead but now he was sitting very much alive and God knows where.

He looked around and a saw view that He had least expected there many people standing in front of him a man in his 50's was kneeling on the floor not far from him supported by a beautiful woman and several guards. 

Seeing from their clothes it was obvious that they were guards as they were holding shields and spears and covering the man and woman. The man was clearly dressed like an old king with his crown like he had seen in movies and the place was the same as those movies an old castle.

While He was observing his surroundings and trying to figure out where He was all of a sudden all the people started shouting and chanting "All Hail The Hero" "All Hail The King" "All Hail The Eldia Kingdom".

Shepherd was brought out of his trance with this loud shouting, he stood up and walked towards the guards and loudly said "Where the hell am I?. Who are you people?. Are you shooting a medieval drama? Where is your director i need to talk to some one in charge." 

When they heard the Hero speak everyone calmed down then the King stood up cleaned the blood from his mouth and while leaning on his wife spoke"My Hero! I Humbly welcome you to Our World of Eldinoir and to the Kingdom Of Eldia I am this Kingdoms very own King Albert Winsdor may i know of your name?"

'Wait what? Hero? Eldinoir? Eldia? Whats happening do they think that I am one of their cast member who is playing a role. "Sir as I said before I need to talk with someone in charge and I am not one of your cast member I am Colonel Shepherd Price-----" 

He put his hand in his bullet proof armour while speaking to retrieve his Millitary Identity Card to show them but suddenly stopped talking as he realized he was wearing different clothes and his Identity card was nowhere to be found. 

Then he looked down and realized he was wearing a simple millitary uniform and he did not have his armour, guns, comm or knives that he had before right now he was only wearing his uniform and only had his Millitary Dog Tag around his neck.

Seeing the Hero flustered and checking his clothes the Prime Minister stepped up and spoke" Sir Shepherd was it my name is Ryu Kanata. I am the Prime Minister of this Kingdom." 

"I can see that You are flustered and having a hard time grasping the situation. I am not sure what 'Medieval' or 'Director' means but if you give us a chance we would like to explain everything that has happened so far including that this is not the world where you once lived and that this is a different world and as to why we have summoned you here please follow us to another room where we can sit down and talk at length."

Shepherd did not reply for some time as he was having a difficult time believing what was being said but right now he had no choice but to listen to this old man as he was willing to talk and was not hostile. 

Some of the people present were not pleased with Shepherd as he could tell they were hostile and the king and queen were like the prime minister and were looking at him kindly and without aggression so seeing as following them was his best bet at understanding everything he chose to follow them and said "Fine Lead the way, I need you to tell me just what is going on?"

The appearance of a Red Specter at a two-star mission was something that Chen Ge did not anticipate. Regardless, he was given no choice—all the employees that he could rely on were with him. Bai Qiulin and the water ghost were both Half Red Specters, and with the aid from the other employees, holding back the Red Specter from the movie should present no problem.
Chen Ge merely needed to hold the Red Specter off for a while. His body leaned toward the blind man next to him, and he already had a plan in his heart.
The employees were highly excited to encounter something like this—this kind of excitement was not something that a normal 3D movie could replicate. The scent of blood spread within the enclosed private viewing theater, and the low murmuring soon turned into wails and shrieks.
Blood slid down the screen, and the woman in red walked out. The sound of blood dripping did not stop. She turned the head, which was losing one eye, and the remaining eye zeroed in on the young woman sitting on the front row who was slowly lifting up her head. Water and blood stains surfaced on her clothes, and her wet hair stuck to her pale skin. Through the hair, one could catch a glimpse of the eyes that were bloated from being soaked in water for too long!
The seat was drenched, and the pool of water on the ground was expanding. One of them was on stage, the other off stage.
For one, this was her first time at the movies, and her simple mind was trying to process what kind of artistic style this was; the other was confused because this was her first time encountering an audience member like this. She looked back with a lost expression, as if suspecting that she was actually still inside the movie.
The woman in red's eyes finally moved away from the water ghost, but when she saw the rest of the audience in theater, her confusion only grew. Behind the water ghost was a row of doctors. Their white coats fluttered underneath the seats, and other than aloofness, there was no other discernible expression on their faces.
Next to the doctors was a man wearing an old pair of jeans. One of his hands was stuck inside his pocket while the other shielded Chen Ge. Yet, confusingly enough, there was another hand laid leisurely on the man's shoulder.
Most of the wailing came from the students in the room. They made a huge commotion, but that was merely for show. As loud as they were being, they also scurried away from the screen.
The last row of the audience stood up, and they looked even stranger. In the left-hand corner, there appeared to be a couple. The man's face was white, and the female looked like she could collapse at any moment. On the other end, a two-meter-tall fatty was squeezed in the corner, and he was trying his best to hold his stench in. Next to the fatty was a lanky man, and there was a rope around his neck. This time, the audience members were so different that the woman in red was briefly stunned after exiting the screen.
Of 'everyone' there, Chen Ge was the most collected. Ever since the woman appeared, he had been following her with his Yin Yang Vision. His focus paid off. He soon discovered that once the woman exited the screen, the red on her outfit lightened quite a bit. This was most obvious at the spot around the heart—the blood there was almost dry and non-existent.
This Red Specter seems like she can only unleash her full power inside the movie. Once she is out of it, her power drastically decreases.
With that understanding, Chen Ge became more confident. After all, this was merely a two-star Trial Mission.
The water ghost and Bai Qiulin faced the woman directly while the other ghosts helped to protect the movie screen. As the battle was about to erupt, Chen Ge lifted the hammer with one hand and turned to the blind man who was seated next to him.
"Chang Gu, the old movies relating to the Eye Oculus are still here. Looks like you and Qiumei have failed to find the real Wenyu." Chen Ge's every word landed on Chang Gu's heart like sharp nails. His eyelids twitched, and he stooped even further.
"We can talk this out like friends. Honestly, I am also looking for that phantom school, and I have a lead." Chen Ge was an open person. With the situation still undecided, he shared information pertinent to the School of Afterlife and showed that he was willing to cooperate.
"Chang Gu, after watching the movies you've directed, I know you are a clever and very talented person, but just take a look at yourself now.
"Have you already given up? Are you willing to hide for the rest of your life in this abandoned holiday villa? Until you die, you won't find Wenyu? Have you given up on your promise to Qiumei?
"You poured your life into works, and the movies are an extension of your life. I am affected by your movies, and I feel sorry for what happened to you. I understand your pain, and I can see why you are wasting your life away now.
"I understand you, and because of that, I wish to collaborate with you. Now is still not the time to give up!"
Through watching the movies, Chen Ge gained a brief understanding of the whole process. He aimed for the gap in Chang Gu's heart and tried to weave through the man's cold exterior.
"Wenyu's soul has still not been found. Perhaps she is still trapped inside the abandoned school. I'm sure her physical body is worsening by the day. What is a person without her soul? I don't know what happened to both of you later, but there is one thing that I am certain about, it is never too late. Everything can still be saved!"
Chang Gu's emotions were fraying. Chen Ge saw this opportunity and added, "Do you know why I am looking for that school?"
He bent over to look Chang Gu in the eye. "I am the boss for the Haunted House at Western Jiujiang New Century Park. About six months ago, my parents disappeared, and many signs point to the fact that they have been to that school!"
Chang Gu's eyelids twitched even harder. His chest rose unevenly, and he finally returned with a question. "Have your parents really been to that school?"
"Yes, and to find them, I've been to Mu Yang High School, Western Jiujiang Private Academy, Jiujiang Medical University, and so on. I have already gathered some clues." Chen Ge shared his experience. If Chang Gu's experience was a tale, then Chen Ge's experience was the stuff of legends.

The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

Lin Wanwan said sourly, "Indeed, you're very lucky. You're born as a specially privileged person. You're good-looking, have a good figure, and are so rich. You're simply God's birth son. A normal person couldn't compare to you."
Lu Zhanbei shook his head. He stared fixedly into her eyes. "There are only three things I'm most lucky about."
"Which three?"

Yanmei put a hand to cover her mouth, trying to stop herself from reacting strangely at him. After taking a deep breath, she said, "Basically, couples talk. They get to know each other, go out and watch movies, shop together... Have you not done any of those?"
"I've only been forced to take women to dinner a few times by my parents," said Anton. "Regarding your suggestion, let me put that on my notes."
Yanmei, "???"
Anton then looked at her and said, "How often do we need to talk and get to know each other?"
"Pfft! Haha! When we have the time?" She said while trying to hold her giggle. "Girl, you are taking this too serious- "
"And because we are doing this, you have to stop calling me girl," he strongly said after noting down Yanmei's suggestions. "I'll schedule with Junsu our get to know you dates on a regular basis... Maybe once a week."
Yanamei's eyes were nearly wet. She could feel her insides laughing out uncontrollably. She cleared her throat and said, "Okay, but seriously have you not even watched movies when two people date?"
Anton stared at her before saying, "I prefer war movies, martial arts, and hero movies… Anyhow, mother said I should buy you roses so I will have Junsu order one for you."
She rolled her eyes, saying to herself, 'No element of surprise.'
"So I guess we can make use of this time and make it officially our first date," he said. "Let me think for a second."
Yanmei started laughing, bringing her head back and slamming her hands on her seat. Seeing Anton's eyes thinned, she pulled herself together. 
"Are you mocking me, woman?" He asked with an icy tone. 
"Sorry, I just remembered something. I'm sorry. Yeah, I guess we can start," she answered quickly. 
He was silent for a moment, doubting Yanmei's words, but eventually, he said, "Right." As he let out the word, his forehead creased. He then resumed, "Then I'll start."
Yanmei, got comfortable on the couch, putting her leg up to her chin. She didn't realize she was exposing more of her legs to him. 
Once again Anton gulped at her actions. His cheeks puffed as he blew air while trying to look away from her slender legs. After shaking his head, he asked, "Have you ever killed, anybody?"
Yanmei's eyes moved from side to side. She asked, "What? No! Why would I?"
Anton was immediately reminded that Yanmei lived a normal life. He crossed his legs before adding, "Hmmm…Yes, of course, you haven't… but it doesn't mean you haven't thought about it... Well then, if you say so… Do you know the point system in a boxing match?"
She gave a near frown and awkwardly said, "Ahhh… I don't watch boxing." 
He scoffed before saying, "Let me change my question then… If a handsome stranger approaches you in a bar and offers you a drink, would you take it?"
Yanmei burst out laughing. She could not understand why Anton was asking these kinds of questions. It took a minute for her to recover and she said, "That is not how to talk to someone are having a date with. Yeong! If it were any woman, she'd be scared of you by now. You are giving me a feeling that this is some sort of a test!"
She could see clearly how his brows nearly touched as his eyes narrowed at her. She heard him say, "Then… what do normal couples talk about?"
"You know, questions like." Yanmei paused for a second, searching through her thoughts before finally giving an answer," Like…what were your first thoughts when we met?"
"I thought you were a bed climber," he said outright, making Yanmei shake her head.
It was now Yanmei's turn to frown at him, but remembering his cold self, she let it be. 
Y: "You know what, Yeong. Let's just talk about our favorites. What's your favorite color?"
A: "Black."
Y: "That's not even a color."
A: "Okay, gray then."
Y: "Pfft… Whatever girl - "
A: "No calling me girl!"
Y: "Okay! Okay! What's your favorite food?"
A: "Japanese, sushi, western steak, barbecue, mostly anything spicy… Live octopus thrills me."
"Eww… I heard people die from that you know," she sneered before adding another question. "Have you ever been… in… love?"
Yanmei immediately gulped, scared the question might agitate him, but to her surprise, he said, "I fancied someone in college, but I never acted on it."
'Of course, I understand,' Yanmei told herself. 'Must be hard.'
Y: "Okay, then… can you tell me why are you so stiff? Mean, indifferent? Cold?"
Anton changed the position of his legs and leaned forward with both elbows on his knees. He looked at Yanmei intensely and said, "Yanmei, I will only give part of the reason - a tip of the iceberg… Remember when I got cut from an attempted robbery at the gun factory? What I did not tell you was how the thieves were armed with guns."
"That kind of life? Being attacked  - engaging in fight is something that I have grown to get used to - Also, how my biological parents died… I think  - I think it is a risk to make relationships even as simple as friendship," He added. 
"What  - what happened to your parents?" She asked, sensing that there is more gravity behind it.
"I will consider telling you if you stay loyal to me as an employee for ten years," He plainly said while turning his gaze to the window. 
'Ten years?' Yanmei thought while raising her brows. 
Anton stood up to take a closer look at sky. He noticed how the rain had started to slow down. He said, "I think I can get going now." 
He turned to Yanmie and said, "Thank you for your hospitality. I will schedule another get to know you date. We can have it in the office, in the conference room."
Yanmei went laughing hysterically again. She concluded that Anton is absolutely unromantic and dull. 
Anton walked towards her and slammed both hands against the cushion. Yanmei was literally in between Anton's strong arms, her face inches away from him. 
He remained giving her a fierce look and asked, "What's wrong with my suggestion?"
Yanmei was taken aback. She gazed directly into his light brown eyes in awe, but still had the strength to say, "Nothing... the conference room is perfectly romantic."
A wired smirk appeared on his face. 'So you wanted romantic?'
After an hour, Anton already found his car. He got in and called Junsu. When his assistant picked up, he asked, "Junsu, what is a good romantic restaurant you know of? Must be exclusive -  with a good view."
"Okay, make dinner reservations this Friday evening."
It was yet another dinner, but then again, that was all Anton knew about. He figured he would start from there.


“I don’t like women directly reporting to me!” He yelled at her after learning he would be working with a mere woman. 

Xia Yanmei replied, “I understand how you don’t like women and I support you wholeheartedly.” 

“Are you a lunatic? I just said I detest women!” Anton Yeong repeated himself, already agitated. His brows were drawn together while his eyes were like a laser, ready to pierce a hole through her body. 

“Oh, you were referring to me? I’m sorry. Sometimes, I forget. I am actually a woman… The truth is, I am a man trapped in a woman’s body!” 

That was all she could think of to secure his trust. In order to keep her job and remain away from her father’s pestering, she tricked the cold and powerful Aton Yeong.

It was from that moment that he was willing to give her a chance, and it was because she turned herself into gay that she kept living a lie... only to regret it after falling for his unorthodox approach.

In the warehouse which is now riddled with bullet holes and cracked walls, you could see four children surrounding a man who was leaning his back on a metal beam head bowed, bald and riddled with blood and bullet holes from his head to his toes around him were several dead bodies in red jumpsuits with some of them wearing clown masks.

For all intents and purposes this bloodied man who looked to be in his 30s should be dead as dead can be but for some reason he is still alive even though he is on his last breaths. You could see bullets coming out from his hole riddled body, in an attempt to heal up the man, but unfortunately it looks like his nervous system took too much of a damaged which will end his life soon enough the only reason he is alive is because of the serum he took earlier.

He looked up from his bowing gaze with bloodied mouth to console the crying kids he first ask them "what's your names" and the kids replied "Anita", "Lilith", "Marcus", "Jessica". His reply to that was a long sigh and a satisfied smiled on his bloodied lips and said "lovely names...but promise me one thing" he leaned his head back on the metal beamed and with gurgled speeches he said " Don't.....let the worlds...darkness.....take away...your bright lights....live how you want..and treat people the way.....you want to be treated"

Mark unlike the others wasn't world renown or super rich but he became the captain of the 'flying eagles special forces'. A special Ops team made by Lilith after he asked her for it with a very convincing pitch, then he became endowed with the responsibility of covertly disposing of terrorist threat both inside and outside the country. He is responsible for saving many lives but he doesn't ask for the glory or fame because he does all of that for the hero who saved him from the most frightening point of his life, all with a kind smile on his face.

Lilith on the other hand became the president of the U.S.A and damn did she reform that country and the world in general, using the influence and power that the great superpower has accumulated through out the years. One of the major things she did was to dispense the cure for cancer and aids which was being monopolies by the rich and powerful prior to her term as president, which earn her the ire of said group of people but it also gave her the support and love of the poor and weak which was 95% of the whole world becoming a living legend and an inspiration to many young and naive kids. Just like she was when she was rescued by her hero.

Meanwhile our hero is currently transversing the cosmos in his soul form for what seem like and eternity, bored out of his mind but due to his durable mental strength he didn't completely lose his mind from the complete darkness that surrounded him. 

Until all of a sudden a golden flame combust from out of nowhere moving in concentric circles as far as the eye could see within the black void. Accompanying this bizarre spectacle was a booming voice that sounds neither male nor female, young nor old, it was just an ethereal voice that said. ~~YOU HAVE FINALLY ARRIVE YOUNG SOUL~~...

I opened my eyes to a field surrounded by flowers. Strange animals fly overhead. They were not birds but they were birds, I have never seen creature like this before. As I take in the sights of the sky I feel something nudging my leg. There was a dog with a tail of fire leaning against my leg. I instinctively jumped back and screamed "You tail is on fire!" The dog ran up to me again, he looked up to me as if he wanted me to pet him. I reached my hand out and hesitantly petted the fiery pooch. I looked up to get my bearings and noticed something in my hand. It was a map. As I looked at it, it began to disappear in my hand. I started to freak out because that map was probably the map of the world I am on now. But as I calmed down I realize that this is kind of like playing an RPG so I willed the map to appear and it did. So the old man really did make my abilities easy to access like game. Safe to assume I wasn't in Atlanta anymore. I was in Baken. Great, good to know that works in this world. I guess the dream I had about meeting God was real. I willed a screen to appear and the screen showed my stats.

I have played enough games to know that my stats were pretty high for a level 1. Majic Molecules must be what they call magic in this world. And Fast Growth was pretty self-explanatory. My last skill was Fledgling God, it was probably a skill from the old man. I had another idea to see if I can pull up an inventory screen. I pictured a screen with all my inventory and a second later it popped out. I had 5 things in my inventory with an unlimited inventory space. There was a weapon, it was called the Demon God Katana Masamune. I wanted to try it out so I closed my inventory and closed my eyes and willed my weapon to appear and it did. As I looked at the black blade, I knew this was the start of my adventure, a great new second chance at life!
As I swung my Katana to earn some practice points I began to hear the sounds of horses and carriages being pulled. From inside the Carriage emerged a beautiful woman who looked to be around my age. She wore a Kimono with a cherry blossom pattern, Gold hoop earrings and slippers that people wore back in ancient Japan, my mother called them Geta. She had flowing curly hair the color of a red velvet cake, pointed ears and carried a pink umbrella around even though the sky showed no sign of rain. I'm guessing she must be an Elf.
"Greetings Hero, my name is Drusilla Liliana Drachmae. Princess of Drachmae Kingdom. I am the one who prayed for you to come to this world. My father the King has been ill for 2 months and my brother the Prince Drew has gone mad with power and has caused a civil war. Only you can save my nation from utter ruin. Will you help us." Said the princess.
So she, along with God, was the reason I died huh. I came here on a mission and not to be tied down helping a kingdom that's in a civil war.
"No, I will not" I said "I have no business with your nation Princess. I have my own plans for adventure!" Besides I have to save this whole entire world not just one nation.
"B-but are you not a hero? A hero has a moral compass, does yours happen to not be working."
"It's not that I don't have a moral compass, I just don't see the point in helping a nation that's already embroiled in civil war. I have read about many civil wars in my previous world, that ended with the collapse of the nation and I don't want anything to do with that bloodshed" I told her.
"Than help me stop my brother. If you don't thousands of innocent people will be killed. Women and children." Replied the princess.
She was right I do have the power to stop this war, it could be beneficial my mission. And I don't want the blood of innocent children on my hand.
"Alright Princess, ill help you. On one condition!" I said.
"You have my gratitude young hero, what is this condition you speak of" Said the princess.
I smirked gleefully and told her "Just call me Harumi, and I want my own Nation! Can you help me get it?"
"W-what? A nation. I can't just hand you a nation. But when I'm Queen I will try to give you a nation" She said.
Well that's good enough for me. I bend down on one knee like they do in the movies with knights. As I thought about it that same quest menu popped up from earlier. "Quest: The Princess of Drachmae Kingdom asks you to help take down her brother and save her kingdom from civil war. Reward: 10 Levels, Mysterious Antidote. Will you accept Y/N?" What the hell, let's do it. I chose yes.
"You got a deal princess, allow me to be your sword and shield. I pledge my Loyalty to you Princess Drusilla Liliana Drachmae of Drachmae Kingdom."
