I sipped at my fresh beer the kind waiter dropped off just as Piper took the seat Zephira had vacated a few moments ago. Her guitar case thudded on the ground next to her, black skirt brushing the ground, anger flashing in her dark eyes. I'd always heard that term, how anger can flash in someone's eyes. I had never actually seen it before now. Piper had the whole flashing and eye thing down to a science. Or a spell? Maybe that was her magical power. "What did she want?"
Pretty obvious who the Goth goddess referred to. And okay, so I'd fired her up. Maybe this was a good thing. I might actually get some real information out of her at last. "To introduce me to the real witches of PEI." Sarcasm much?
Piper set her jaw, that belligerent kind of frustration I knew all too well personally. Maybe we were more alike than I'd originally thought. That was rather comforting and annoying at the same time and did nothing to settle my own dark mood. "She's a total freak and a fake. Stay away from her."
Oh, no she did not just tell me what to do. She did not just order me around. She did not just tell Reese McDonald what she could and could not do. Independent filmmaker, independent woman. Hell no.
Piper tried to take the card for my fingers and I immediately and purposely tucked it into my pocket, never letting my eyes leave hers. She wanted to see anger flash? Keep staring, missy.
"I'm here to film witches, Piper. That means all witches, right? Since you are, you know, witches?" Prodding the unhappy woman before me-one of the women paying my way here-might have been a terrible idea. But I was in that kind of mood and, apparently, so was she.
"She's not a witch." Piper said that like Zephira offended her to the core of her being. "She just takes money from gullible people who think she's got powers." What exactly did Piper do then? I hadn't gotten that far yet. "Pagan poser." Her expression tightened further, the words practically spitting from between her black painted lips, a line forming between her perfectly shaped brows.
"Poser. Really." I couldn't help that little jab. And there was so much more I could say. She had no idea, did she? No clue whatsoever who she came across as, what the Lovely Witches represented to the rest of us. "Well, like it or not, she claims the same about you. And since I'm here to do a job, I'm going to do it the best I can. Which means talking to her and her coven." So there.
I expected a fight. Was honestly kind of hoping for one. I needed to get this uncomfortable frustration out and Piper seemed the perfect person to butt heads with. I figured we'd have a bit of a row, drink a beer and make up then she'd tell me everything and I'd go on to make the best documentary ever and maybe even win at life for once.
Instead, her face fell, her entire body slumping slightly, and I realized I had gone too far in the wrong direction. "Reese, that's not why you're here."
What the hell was she talking about? If I wasn't here for the film, what was I doing here?
Okay, now I really was angry. "Why am I here, Piper?" Like I was going to get an answer from her.
As I expected she hesitated, like she was thinking about saying something but didn't know if she could trust me with the result. And I realized in that moment I didn't want to know what it was that held her tongue, that made her so reluctant, that stirred guilt on her face. In fact, I'm pretty sure even if she tried I'd stick my fingers in my ears and sing lalalalala just to keep from hearing her explanation. So when she spoke again, to my relief, it was with a closed expression and a bit of defeat in her tone.
"To make a film about the Lovely Witches Club?"
I know what I said before, just now, in fact. I know, I didn't want an answer. And yet her response made me so angry I slammed down my beer glass and lurched to my feet, in that kind of mood that if she pushed me too hard I'd just dump that beer glass over her head.
"Well, you guys don't seem very interested in making a film. Or, being honest for that matter." Because I was being oh, so honest with myself right now, wasn't I? Pots called kettles black all the time and this was no exception. "I hate games, Piper, just so you know. I've had enough disappointment in my life so far, thank you very much." This wasn't her fault. And I was totally overreacting. But there was something about this place that triggered emotions in me I hadn't felt in a very long time, and I was completely out of control of them. "I thought this was a project I could be proud of. Instead I'm being jerked around by a pack of nut jobs who seem to think I'll fall for their cursed Island magic crap."
I'd never seen anyone look so hurt, not even that guy I accidentally kneed in the balls during the zombie massacre filming just a week ago. Wow, was it really only a week ago? How had my life gone from odd and unhappy to totally confusing in seven short days?
"It's not crap." Piper had tears in her voice. Tears. "Whatever." I could have been nicer, yes.
"I thought we were friends, Reese?"
Wait a second, what was this? Gothic goddess Piper hurt and upset because I wasn't her friend? You could have knocked me over with a broom stick. "It feels more like you're trying to recruit me into your cult or something."
Why did she look regretful all of a sudden?
"Look, I'm here to make a film, so I'm going to make a freaking film. But don't for a second think I'm not going to do everything I can to make sure the truth comes out, Piper. You bunch claim to be witches? Fine. Then you won't mind if the competition has a say too."
She looked away, down the street, but I could tell she wasn't seeing what was right in front of her, lost in thoughts darker than my own. "Zephira isn't paying you. We are."
"You're right. You are. Maybe that'll have to change." Her head whipped around and she stared up at me like I'd kicked her guitar. "After I see with these so-called real witches have to say. Since your little club isn't willing to give me what I need to actually do what you're paying me to do."
I turned my back on her, but spun around again to finish the thought. "That's what I'm doing Piper. What are you doing?"
I walked away then, reaching for my cell phone, for Zephira's card, ready to dial when I heard Piper's voice following after me.
"Oh, nothing. Just trying to save the Island."

Magic woke, stretched, yawned into the late afternoon and the peaceful corner of the wood where long it slept. But what prompted its return to awareness? Pink tendrils of power unwound from deep beneath the earth, the crushed needles and heavy moss. Seeking the source of its awakening with gentle curiosity.
The sun dappled trees gave way to dark orange light while dusk washed over the forest path.
Black robes caught the edges of the remaining illumination in flickers that seemed to absorb into the lush velvet folds, passing over shoulders and cowls, across the tips of the brooms they carried deeper into the quiet of the wood.
She led them, flashes of blue satin lining appearing as she moved, her narrow toed shoes gliding over the hard packed red earth, floating as if she barely touched the ground. And though the four figures moved quickly and with seeming purpose, nature didn’t shun them or their intrusion. If anything, they were welcomed, observed with ancient delight, sent on with the trill of birdsong and the chattering interest of watching squirrels.

"We have to split from here." Hessiana looked at the witches, Hao Ren, and Lily. "This is the junction. From here, you can go to the north tower, the cemetery, and the Shadowy Cellar. I will go to the north tower to find a way to gain control of the Soulless Guards. The witches will proceed to the Shadowy Cellar, which is a node that maintains the boundary of the shadowy realm. The Shadowy Cellar is also a surveillance center where you can monitor the entire castle. I want you to keep an eye on the courtyard. Once you find the demon hunters, report it immediately."
Hessiana's eyes fell on Hao Ren and Lily. She hesitated for a while. "Both of you go to the cemetery. You will be very busy if the avatar that you have mentioned is already active."
Hao Ren knew that Hessiana had no choice but to make such an arrangement. She would not let anyone other than herself go to the cemetery without supervision. But the Soulless had awakened, and the Butler's appearance meant that those guards had lost control. Coupled with the fact that the demon hunters could enter the world at any time, Hessiana had to divide the team and do everything simultaneously to save time. She was the only person who could wrest control of the Soulless. Compared with the witches, whom Hessiana hardly knew, she was more comfortable with Vivian's acquaintances: Hao Ren and Lily.
The witches had no objection to the arrangement. They were conscious of their abilities. The Soulless Guards in the courtyard had given them a hard time, and they risked life and limb battling the Butler. Madam Marie knew it; their combat strength could make little difference to the current situation.
The witches only had to monitor the shadowy realm's border in a safe place. It seemed that the Shadowy Cellar was the safe zone that Hessiana mentioned earlier.
"How do we stay in touch?" a witch asked.
With the wave of her hand, Hessiana summoned a few blood-red crystals. "Inject these pieces of blood with magic, then we all can talk to each other. Everyone with a piece in hand will be able to hear the other. But be careful, it is prone to interference."
Hao Ren looked on. Shortly after, he reached into his Dimensional Pocket and took out some communication devices. "Use these."
Hessiana took the silvery-white metal box in her hand and fiddled with it. "What is this?"
"It works similarly to your gems, but much better. Not only can it transmit sounds and images, but itis also free from interference; no magic required. Press the button here, and you will be able to talk to one another through a direct mental connection. Anyone with an IQ level higher than that of a monkey will be able to use it."
Hessiana stared in amazement at the hologram hovering on the device. The way she looked at Hao Ren was even more astounding. "Don't tell me this thing is also sorcery. Did you dig it out from Odin or Zeus's grave?"
"Why do you say that?"
"Such a beautiful thing could only come from the Mythological Era. This shiny look is either entirely of Olympus or Asgard. But then again, their products have never been so refined."
Hao Ren had indeed shoveled the graves of those two gods before. He had even built factories on the housing foundations of the Norse gods. But he could not say it out loud there, of course. Anyway, he was now glad that Little Bat was also thinking likewise; his earlier effort to lead her into believing him had not gone to waste. "You see, Vivian and I are friends. And Vivian and Odin and Zeus were buddies too. Since those in the Mythological Era were all like sworn brothers and sisters, it is only natural that I've inherited stuff from the two deities."
"Sworn brothers who dig the graves of their ancestors?" Little Bat rolled her eyes. "No wonder I had a feeling that you were unlike any human wizard—human wizard does not enjoy such high social status. So you must be the silver wizard from Mesopotamia. You have been tight-lipped about it, eh?"
"Well, I will not say you are wrong." Hao Ren looked up at the sky.
"All right. People, carry this communication device with you." Hessiana then waved, as though to say that she did not intend to harp on Hao Ren's identity issue. "To go to the Shadowy Cellar, head to that door. When you reach the end, you will see an oak door with a black vortex pattern. Enter that door, follow the stairs and go down. To go to the cemetery, use that door over there. Turn right at every junction until you see a wall formed by thorns and roses. The Wall of Roses is an illusion, disregard it and walk straight through it. I think you two should not even be able to do that. I will go to the North Tower, which is close to here. If it goes well, I will have gain control before you arrive at your destinations."
"Will we meet the Soulless again?" Witch Helen asked with concern.
"We have just defeated the Butler. The 'death' of the Butler will temporarily suppress the activities of the Soulless Guards in the inner court. The Butler takes longer than the Soulless to resurrect. So you have at least half an hour. If you cannot even make it to the Shadowy Cellar in half an hour, just kill yourselves. Garbage does not deserve to live in this place."
Hessiana's unsparing words sent a chill up the witches' spines. Madam Marie said no more and brought her people into one of the three doors.
"We are going this way." Hao Ren brought Lily and set off, not forgetting to leave some words of concern for Little Bat. "You, be safe. I can see that it is not easy to take control of the Soulless Guards."
"It indeed takes some effort. But I am confident." Hessiana said and smiled. She then frowned when saw Hasse that Lily still carried on her shoulder. "You really want to carry this guy along? I have no idea what you are thinking, but once you get to the cemetery, you are likely to face even greater danger. In my opinion, this demon hunter is completely a burden."
Just then Hasse suddenly moved. But this time, before the old demon hunter could open his mouth, Lily had yanked out his alloy sword and hit Hasse on the head.
Klunk!
Hao Ren could not help but say, "Lily, take it easy. We need him later."
He then nodded to Hessiana. "Do not worry, this demon hunter will come in handy later. We should go now. Let's keep in touch."
Without waiting for Little Bat to respond, Hao Ren brought Lily and strode toward the passage that led to the cemetery.
Nearly half of the castle was quiet after the Butler, the head of the inner-court guards, fell.
The Soulless no longer emerged from the murals and sculptures. Malicious limbs and weapons no longer popped out from the shadows. This castle, which Vivian had created in her dream, looked like frozen footage of a black-and-white film. There was not any color in the quiet corridor. If not for the sounds of their hurried footsteps, the silence could have driven them crazy.
The two of them hustled in the corridor and passed by some rooms occasionally. The doors of the rooms were all wide open, and the scenes in the rooms were weird. Hao Ren saw, from the corners of his eyes, mirrors of different sizes in some places, and men and women in suits and gowns were in some rooms, as though they were attending a banquet. But their faces appeared blank. Other places were filled with gold and silver, or gourmet. In the most bizarre room, Hao Ren even saw an ocean—a grayish-white one, undulating silently as the Vikings' ships rode on the winds and waves. The scene of the rolling sea almost made Lily space out and go into the room.
"Don't walk into any room." Hessiana's voice was heard through the communication device. "Most of the rooms lead to the deeper layers of nightmares or shadowy realms. Once you enter, you will not come out alive. For the past 200 years, many clueless chaps have walked into the rooms. Some of them were werewolves and Bloodthralls that Haron sent here as sacrifices. They have become part of the rooms, and they will suffer eternal torture and remorse until Lady Vivian wakes up."
"Where are you now?" Hao Ren asked.
"I have arrived at the North Tower and am unlocking the first shadow lock," Hessiana replied. "I have to concentrate. If you have other things to say, I will hang up now."
"We see the door to the Shadowy Cellar now," Witch Helen said through the communication device. "Just now, Jenna lost her mind after looking at the mirror in a room. She almost walked in there. That was a close call."
Hao Ren and Lily finally ran out of the corridor to an open foyer.
In front of the foyer was a wall formed by twisted thorns and black roses entwined together. Under the wall were piles of skulls and bones.
"We have arrived too."
Hao Ren spoke into the communication device.

It was the day of the premier of the first magic movie: The Wolf Princess. The movie had a gripping story about a young girl overcoming her fears and coming to terms with herself. The release of The Wolf Princess would be another milestone in the integration of witches into society.

Many notable people attended this first viewing of the movie. Among them were various top officials of Neverwinter as well as wealthy merchants from other cities. The renowned playwright Kajen Fels had come to watch the movie. Also attending was Steven and Zero.

Steven was no stranger to movies, but there were reasons that he wanted to see this one. Besides the fact that it was groundbreaking for this world, the magic movie was also different from movies on Earth, and it was perhaps more advanced in certain areas. The magic movie provided a full immersive experience, much like virtual reality. Since VR movies have not yet been created on Earth, this would be something new. The closest thing there was to a magic movie would be an IMAX 3-D film.

Steven wanted to see the magic movie for himself since reading about it in a book was a lot different from seeing it in person. So, he decided to take a short break from work and took the train to Neverwinter along with Zero to watch a movie together.

Steven and Zero took a seat in the theatre and bought some popcorn. Soon, an ethereal voice was heard throughout the theatre.

"A warm welcome to the magic movie theater of Graycastle. The Wolf Princess is about to begin. May everyone kindly return to their seats and listen carefully to the rules which should be observed. If there're any problems during the screening, please act in accordance with the rules in order to prevent accidents from occurring."

"First of all, the magic movie's duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes, throughout which there'll be no break. You're not allowed to leave your seat on your own. If you require assistance, simply pull on the string of the bell located under your seat and wait."             

"Secondly, this will be an unprecedented viewing experience. Please don't panic no matter what happens, and remember that it's only a very special kind of play, instead of a real event. You'll be held accountable by the Neverwinter Police Department for any harm or loss you cause to a third party."

Many members of the audience began snickering as they thought the statement was ridiculous. They couldn't conceive of how anyone would be able to mistake a play for reality. Steven smiled. Unlike the others, he wasn't amused by the warning statement, rather he was amused by the reaction of the audience. Soon, they would be in for a shocking experience. He wished he could see their faces when the movie started.

"The show shall now begin."

The room dimmed and then there was a flash. Then, everything turned pitch black. Steven did feel that darkness was somewhat disconcerting. However, hearing the screaming coming out of the other audience members made him laugh.

As the light reemerged, a cold snowy land was shown. The movie was all encompassing and it was like he was actually actually there. The scene was quite breathtaking. It was a very amazing experience and Steven was very impressed. It was so much more awe inducing than reading about it in words could have shown. He almost couldn't fault the other audience members who were currently sinking into hysteria.

As the movie progressed, more and more amazing images were shown and the action scenes were quite nerve wracking as it seemed to be happening right in front of his eyes. Steven could feel the adrenaline coursing through his body. The audience members were all making noises, too shocked by the scenes to control themselves. While it was amusing at first, Steven started becoming annoyed with the other noises being made.

Overall, the movie was quite good. The singing had been amazing; Steven didn't expect that music could be so good, even with magical assistance from Echo. The production quality was good. Although things could be better, the movie was already leagues above any play that existed in this world.

After the movie ended, everyone left the theatre and went to the waiting hall where they began eagerly discuss the movie. "The magic movie was amazing", Zero said. "I didn't imagine Stones of Recording could achieve such great effects."

"Indeed, magic is very useful for this. The movie was quite impressive", said Steven.

"Yes, it was something truly different. The imagery was very vivid", said Zero. "I wish that we could watch more of these movies."

"Well, how about we make magic movies ourselves", Steven suggested. "Then we could watch them all the time. It could also just be us two alone watching it, without all of these other people."

"Mmm." Zero seemed quite pleased with the idea.

"Our movies will be just as good as this one", Steven said confidently.

"I thought the plot of this movie was very good", said Zero. "It also seemed quite unique."

"The plot…" Steven had an awkward expression on his face. "Unique? Roland just knows how to copy."

At that moment, Roland approached them. "What did you think of the movie? Was it good?", he asked.

"Oh, we were just discussing your plagiarism", Steven said. "Quite a 'unique' plot you had. I suppose Frozen was as fine a choice as any. You should be glad Disney doesn't exist here to sue you."

Steven began looking around, just to make sure that there weren't going to be Disney goons suddenly appearing out of thin air. Disney was quite protective of its copyright, and they had a very long reach. Steven could only hope that being in another world would put them far enough away to be safe.

Roland chuckled. "I am the King here so Disney can't do anything to me."

"The production quality was decent", Steven said. "It looks like you really did put a lot of effort into this."

"It is the first movie, it has to be the best to give magic movies a good reputation", Roland replied. "Also, it was important for propaganda purposes."

They talked a little more about things before they left. On the way out, Steven ran into Kajen Fels, who was still looked somewhat overcome by the entire experience.

Steven approached him and started talking to him. "Are you Mister Fels, the renowned playwright?"

"Yes, that is me. Though I suppose that I have been outdone", he replied.

"You seem very impressed by the magic movie", Steven said.

Kajen nodded. "It was truly amazing. The magic movie will be revolutionary."

"Are you planning on making a magic movie in the future?", Steven asked.

"I plan on asking King Roland to allow me to work on magic movies. I hope that he will have a spot for me", Kajen said.

"I see. Well I hope you have good luck trying", Steven said. "It is always good to see someone established for a long time embrace new technologies and advancements. If Roland doesn't have a spot for you, feel free to come to Hermes."

"Oh? Who might you be?", Kajen Fels asked.

"I am the church's prime minister", Steven replied. "I am quite interested in magic movies as well."

"I will keep you in mind then", Kajen said.

After talking with Kajen Fels, Steven left along with Zero and took the train back to Hermes.

It's a huge half-plane with gray irises on the outer layer. It looked like a translucent eggshell. It's a whole world, but it was not the structure of a planet, it's more like a continental shelf. This was the half-plane that was born in the star realm. It used the inexhaustible energy of the star realm as the supply.
This huge half-plane flew by!
It was like Halley's comet passing over the earth, and soon it disappeared from Soran's vision. The star realm was almost infinite; it's a plane that's almost infinite, but if you kept going up, you'll encounter a layer of crystal wall. Roland was also surprised to see the view in the morning all of the Witch Union's members are present which only meant that they all haven't slept properly after the comet. Just as he was about to say hi and good morning, a tapping can be heard from the window and a grey falcon with a yellow lump on its claws which could only mean  it came from king's city. 
Naturally the letter was from Dispersion Star reporting about the Astrologers success of locating the red star along with it is also his report about the comet from yesterday.

"Help from the Heavens in recognition to the new king..." Roland didn't know how he will disclosed this information to the people as it might sound exaggerated or that he may sound narcissistic so he folded the small paper back and presented it to the table with everyone.
"The Star of Extinction has been found by Astrologer Dispersion Star from the king's city just that it hasn't been moving even after he observed it for a period of time." He started with this report first but the first person to respond was Agatha seemingly agitated but excited at the same time she took the letter in her hands but as she was reading her face changed in a weird expression, mumbling "help from the heavens?" no matter how long she had lived to shocking news at the same time would be enough to shaken her as well.

All of witches probably felt that incredibly strong power as if it was intending to crush us all and yet you say 'help from the heavens'?
Wendy was also curious to know whats in the letter even though Roland had just summarized the report, "What does it say?" 
"The next part says about the Astrologer explained the people about the fallen star just last night was "the heavens helping us in recognition to the king." Agatha answered handing the letter over to Wendy.
"What that can't be help!" 

"The power was intending to crush us a few hour ago!"

"Even if it isn't it doesn't seem to be something that we all take hold of for a moment let alone control."

"Doomsday, the church, monsters and now this shooting star..."

Various thoughts fly into discussion clearly against the statement from the letter "help from the Heavens."
Ronald decided to chime in to calm everyone, "Let's not jump into conclusions that far, just like your magic powers that needed your bodies as a vessel, that mini comet was also the same a vessel in truth comets when landed on earth varies on size but since it didn't made much of a noise when it landed, it may be as small as our feet or fist instead." 
"Mini Comet?" Anna asked, "I never heard or red anything about a comet as small as a feet or fist in your science books." She said finally handing out the letter back to Ronald after it circulated to the table.

"Well that was a guess on my part if it was as big as it usually is, it would've destroyed countless lands or its pressure may have even grazed or destroyed Graycastle and other kingdoms on that matter but since its did not happened it may just the size like a meteor would." He added.

"Meteor?" All of them asked in unison looking at Ronald with confused faces. Then it came on him, he didn't add or write anything about the outer space or the solar system yet since it may be different in this world he only told bits and pieces of it to Anna.

"Those are extraterrestrial objects in space like floating rocks in space and visible gases and dusts. Stars are example of those and meteors and comets are one of them." He then realized that the discussion became a science subject clearing away any feelings of dread that was just hear a moment ago. 

He then urged the rest of the wishes to continue their meal with a bright smile.

If His Highness was not afraid of it then how could we his subjects at that!
Besides it does sound like it is similar to magic stones that may have fallen from the sky so why am I afraid of? 

This thought circulated on the Witch Union members especially Agatha the possibility of it being similar to magic stones used for sigils was not what she is fearing now is that the church might get their hands on it first.

But the problem at hand is what should they tell the people?

There is no need to speak this fact loud should they announce to people what the Astrologer Dispersion Star had already said, are should they stay to scientific explanation?

"We'll just spread rumors." After a moment of contemplation Roland decided.
"Rumors Your Highness?" Scroll then asked she had an vague idea but decided to make things sure first.
"People tend to believe rumors and ended up being manipulated by them at times lets just announce these as rumors to the common folk." He said holding up the letter in his hands.

It was Wendy behind her was a brunette freckled, young man around his 20s bowing down to him.

"Your Highness, this is Freckles and he has brought us something he had found under the sea while fishing I can't help but find it related to the incident yesterday. He thought that it might interest you as it is similar to materials you were using for production." Even though Wendy seems she has something to say than that Roland didn't probe into it in front of an outsider.

From the Mist, Nightingale whispered int his ear," Your Highness, its faint but I see the same energy from below." 
Roland nodded to Wendy, "Bring me to it."

A few steps down what was presented to him was a container like metal box similar to the refrigerator in his previous life but this is more of a crumpled black metal container at the size of a refrigerator it had a few traces of chains being planted in the walls of the container a few scratches and nothing more.

"You are saying that you found this under the sea?" Ronald asked as he bent down on one knee observing the container.

"Y-Yes Your Highness." Freckles hurriedly replied still amazed by the figure in front of him as he recounted what happened in detail.
It was normal for him to be edgy of course after all he was actually talking to the King of Graycastle. Still Freckles can't help but to notice that the "king" actually wore much simple clothes than what most royalty although not like the commoners it brought a breathe of fresh air and clean atmosphere around him.
Anna then pried open the metal box with the use Blackfire  under Roland's request.

Only to see nothing at all. It was just a crumpled, metal container that Ronald himself could lay inside.
"What could be its use?" Ronald pondered for a moment before setting the matter aside since he has a impending battle to worry about. 

Nightingale however could see faint dots of the same power from yesterday from the mist but knowing they have to face more important things she could only put the matter aside as well.
Wendy and the others had Hummingbird to lessen the weight and store the metal container for the time being.

This has been happening to her for quite a lot traveling and traveling countless worlds.  Vanitas, Lilly, Hanna, Lyra, Yang Qi, April, Aisaka, Rosetta and many more, she had gone through many names and body, had died more than thrice but several times and now she was thinking what name she would use this time as she sumoned the now transparent orb in her hands.

At first, the orb was of translucent, foggy and color changing little night light on her hands and as her power increases the energy inside became more pure and condensed resulting in its now crystal transparent figure. Her friends and family in that world must've been shocked to see a dead body lying in the kitchen. 

The next thing she knew was that she woke up inside a wet slimy and sticky metal container but just as she was trying to break free the container was being lifted and brought into some fishy place which she thought was some kind of port or harbor. She then broke free from the chains tying down her ankles neck and arms to the walls. Breaking free without anyone noticing her at all.

Until now she was thinking what could the previous owner of this body did for her to be tied down badly like that? she tried to search the previous memories but it all started and ended at the same flashes, but to her view she was some noble lady or royal family member who made a lot of trouble by uprooting the corrupt and maintaining justice to the kingdom and end up dethroning the king of that time with just her pure brains. At least the previous owner of the body did some good things before she died at least she could held her head high in this lifetime then!

But before she present herself to the public she got up from her neatly made hut and changer her clothes like a pro! Unlike her first few "travels" she would find clothes to borrow, beg or steal but now she could change her clothes through simply imagining what she'll change to an ability she acquired from a very generous person from her previous travels.

She take a peek into the city and adjusted the clothes to her liking she then closed her eyes and in a few moments her previous clothes looked as if it was shredding to pieces and those pieces floated away revealing the new medieval themed breezy white dress which underneath was a pair of pants and knee length shoes for better mobility. 

Unfortunately someone saw her change!
"A witch! A witch!" The old man cried at her pointing fingers!
Oh no! I'll be hanged on a stake and be burned!
She naturally ran of course, not because she was afraid but she did not want to use her powers and end up accidentally hurting the old man since she have to earn a good reputation in order to leave this world and find her home world.

But to her surprise no soldiers went after her. "Did they not heard the old man?"
She murmured but then her hands were caught by the old man from before asking seemingly confused, "Why are you running away? You are new here aren't you?" She did not answer she was more confused than the old man was. "There was a home for witches it's called Witch Union it is true that witches are being hunted before but not anymore not here in City of Neverwinter." The old man smiled at her finally letting go of her hand.

"Neverwinter?" She was confused still but what made her feel even more stupid was that she had to stay in a cold hut while there was actually a home for witches for people like her! SHe would then never have to worry about food nor shelter like this morning! She face slapped herself quite loudly at her failure.
"Miss are you okay?" The old man asked worriedly of the lady in front of him suddenly smacking her own head.
"Grandpa," she asked sweetly as if he was really her grandfather, "I'm terribly sorry to bother you this early in the morning but may i trouble you to take me to the Witch Union?" She asked cupping the old man's hands in hers.

The old man naturally blushed at the godly beauty in front of him, anyone would. He didn't doubt that even women would fall weak seeing her! 
Removing himself of a trance, he led the young lady into the Witch Union and along the way she noticed a few peculiarities in the city.

Order. Everything was in order in place not like the previous medieval world she visited this one was very orderly and there are light posts too! Which she mysteriously didn't notice upon her wake last night. 
The old man seemed to have noticed the young lady's peculiarity about the City of Neverwinter, "This is the New Civilization District built by His Highness for the residents of the previously Border Town and its new residents as City of Neverwinter." He explained those they have passed by like a real tour guide until they reached their destination.

The Witch Union building, it was not far from the castle itself but its more appropriate to call it part of the castle since it just inside the castle walls or palace walls. She thanked the old man but to her surprise he wasn't leaving.
"Oh well just ignore the good man and knock on the door." She was still a bit confused at the moment seeing things which should never appear in a medieval era so she shouldn't act rashly onto others too much without further knowledge of the workings of this world. 
The door opened revealing a rather "racky" woman with a warm smile for a sudden moment she felt a bit envious of the woman's chest and behind and felt naturally small. "Hello I'm Wendy of the Witch Union how may I help you?" 
"She is a witch." The old man replied in her stead. "Oh are you her grandfather?" Wendy asked, "Yes I am." The old man smiled feebly ignoring the young lady's look on him.

I called you grandfather earlier not because you really are my grandfather but out of respect yet... 
"Here is a gold royal for her family." Wendy reached out a golden coin to the old man and the old man reached over and left afterwards.

The heck! You actually led me here for a gold coin pretending to be my grandfather?! The young lady was a bit furious being used like that but being used to being scammed, lied to and used for her first arrival in her travels she set it aside. What's important was knowing the workings of this world first and on the top list was about the seemingly odd technology of this kingdom.

"His Higness would be glad to see you." Wendy warmly welcomed her inside the castle and what she first saw was a bunch of other young ladies which were likely to be witches as well. 

"Uuhh! Oooh! A new witch!" A blond girl came flying on her face.

"A new sister!" Another one exclaimed.

Sooner or later the place was crowded.
"Calm down, calm down." Wendy put a palm on air to settle down the noise.
"His Highness has yet to meet our new sister so let's lead her to the study."
Wendy warmly smiled and walked up with the newbie upstairs passing through guards which to her surprise are carrying guns which at that moment should not exist in this era. 

It is confirmed I may not be the only transcendent in this world, I mean who could think of the same guns and same electrical technology, convenient stores and steam machines at that to bring a kingdom in such an advance state. This is truly suspicious that could only point one thing. Another transcendent then again  it may not be the same modern person from the same world there are many possibilities. This is also not the first thing she saw something like this she also advertised new technology to old eras like this so she knew what must be happening in this world.

Just as she was finished with her thoughts she made her resolve to ask 'His Highness' about the occurrence of these odd things.
The doors opened to see a young man, his arms resting on his study desk looking at the french window that give shine to his gray hair that almost sparkle like silvery white. He turned to the 'newbie' and asked kindly "What's your name?" 
That's when Wendy realized that she hasn't asked the young lady's name yet and was embarrassed for a bit as they waited for the other party's reply.

Until now she hasn't chosen a suitable name yet but looking at the french windows now, letting the warm sunlight cup her face she decided to use her real name.

"Clea. My name is Clea."

It felt refreshing to finally hear her own name even from her own lips it brings back her memories from her home world that she almost forgot. Tears threaten to spill but she hold back with a sharp inhale and exhale. After which she gathered her strength back up again before she take a step front and stopped in front of Roland several steps away unexpectedly there appeared to be a woman in white who revealed herself stepping from the ripples of space and mist seemingly seeing Clea as a threat.

Clea then bowed a curtsy showing her status of a noble and educated lady. If she will soon have to leave this world eventually via physical or her soul the black hole will surely appear and she had to make things clear in case such things happen here but before that she have to confirm another thing as well.

Her actions confused and alarmed the people around her and the gray haired man is also confused as well.

"I don't mean any harm, I apologize but I just need Miss Wendy and the others to leave for a moment. I have something to tell 'His Highness'. She stated giving a slight smile to Wendy and the rest of the witches who were clearly startled by her words. Roland simply nodded to Wendy and urged Nightingale to leave (back into the mist) as well.

Sooner only the "two" of them are alone in the office.
Nightingale was curious as to what did made this woman brave enough to face a king like Ronald without any trace of fear in her eyes but the more she studied the more she finally confirmed it! These are the eyes of a person who have faced death several times! 

"Do you have something I can write with?" She asked, Ronald lend her his quill and a piece of paper without saying anything just watching Clea trying to figure out her motive. While Clea on the other hand continued speaking as she write and.. draw?

Roland was watching carefully at the quill moving slowly drawing a symbol he was very familiar with and 6 letters he known like the back of his hand.
"Do you perhaps know my friend that goes by this name?" Clea asked finally finished her drawing and writing giving the quill back to Roland.

Roland already knew what it is but he could never believe what was happening as the paper slowly turns in his direction as if a slow motion in a film.

It was the symbol of Google Chrome! and that "friend's" name was "Google!"

...and then Roland realized that he's not the only one who transmigrated.
