Modern-day witches of the Western World still struggle to shake their historical stereotype. Most practice Wicca, an official religion in the United States and Canada.
Wiccans avoid evil and the appearance of evil at all costs. Their motto is to "harm none," and they strive to live a peaceful, tolerant and balanced life in tune with nature and humanity.
Many modern-day witches still perform witchcraft, but there's seldom anything sinister about it. Their spells and incantations are often derived from their Book of Shadows, a 20th-century collection of wisdom and witchcraft, and can be compared to the act of prayer in other religions. A modern-day witchcraft potion is more likely to be an herbal remedy for the flu instead of a hex to harm someone.
Today's witchcraft spells are usually used to stop someone from doing evil or harming themselves. Ironically, while it's probable some historical witches used witchcraft for evil purposes, many may have embraced it for healing or protection against the immorality they were accused of.
But witches—whether actual or accused—still face persecution and death. Several men and women suspected of using witchcraft have been beaten and killed in Papua New Guinea since 2010, including a young mother who was burned alive. Similar episodes of violence against people accused of being witches have occurred in Africa, South America, the Middle East and in immigrant communities in Europe and the United States.

The God of Truth and Knowledge, also called the God of Master, was a path that Edward chose for himself. As for the future wizards, just like in the future masters, they would all be believers of the God of Truth and Knowledge.
"There will no longer be blood wizards, dream wizards, element wizards or sector masters!" Edward said.
He then added, "As for blood witchcraft, dream witchcraft, and other forms of witchcraft, they will all become elements of the entire master system. As such, they will be the witchcrafts that people study and conduct research on. They will, from now on, only be the categories of knowledges of different witchcrafts, and there won't be strict definitions like there have been before any longer."
He paused, then concluded, "Everyone will practice witchcraft using the witchcraft book that was bestowed upon us by the God of Truth and Knowledge. In this way, a whole new system will be revealed to everyone in the world!"
The Book of Masters was the most important element in the wizard system, which was built by the Kelermo Kingdom. After Edward had ignited the godly fire, he had used his godly power that belonged to the God of Truth and Knowledge to create the book. As such, the book was like the seed from which divine incantation of the God of Truth and Knowledge sprouted.
It was a very important element of the God of Truth and Knowledge, and only the masters who held the Book of Masters were able to practice witchcraft. It was completely bound to the master system by the God of Truth and Knowledge to be used on the road to belief.
The benefits of the book's spreading throughout the kingdom were that many people who wouldn't otherwise be exposed to the magic network or weren't qualified suddenly had the chance to practice witchcraft and become masters themselves. Thus, the number of masters surged.
Due to this, it was much easier to find apprentices to become wizards than ever before. In the past, it was difficult to find a mere handful, even after searching the entire continent!
After Edward made a decision, he leaned on the chair in his study as he looked out the window. Then, he suddenly recalled the time when he had just became a wizard.
Back then, he had disdained the gods. He had thought that the gods and the god kingdoms were all made up. It was ironic that he was about to become a god himself now!
Regarding his decision, some wizards thought that the reasoning behind it was that the wizards had finally thrown off their previous shackles and were ready to step forward to a new future. But, some other people thought Edward was basically the gravedigger of all of the wizards, as the path and spirits of wizards had been carried on for hundreds of years thus far, and now, because of him, they had withered away during his generation.
As for Edward, during his time as the tower master of the Wizard Tower of the fourth generation and the last generation, he had witnessed how the Wizard Tower had died out under his leadership. In fact, the minute that the news that the entire tower had disappeared reached his ears, Edward laid low for a couple of days, believing that it was all his fault.
After all, he was the person who had inherited the master of tower title from Akkad, and he was also thought to be the successor of Bohr Kelermo. So, now that the tower had disappeared under his watch, he felt an immense sense of shame and guilt.
Recently, Edward always felt that he could see the shadow of his teacher, Bohr Kelermo, as well as the shadows of the wizards of the first generation. In his visions, they were all staring at him in silence.
During this time, Edward couldn't have possibly felt more ashamed. Since wizards weren't capable of having dreams, everything he felt was the direct manifestation of how he really thought and felt about his current situation.
"Masters are wizards and wizards are masters! Wizards will innovate and transform as each generation passes. Now, it's a new generation, which means that it's time for wizards to advance and transform ourselves!" Edward declared.
He then added, "And... This time, the masters of the new generations will get rid of all of the restrictions from before, stepping forward and leading this era into a new future!"
As Edward yelled at the walls of his study in excitement, at this moment, he sensed that a familiar being was gazing at him in his house. He was faintly aware that this was his old teacher, Bohr Kelermo!
All of a sudden, he lost his steadiness and became like a child. In a panic, he exclaimed, "Teacher, I didn't do anything wrong! This is supposed to be the future for the wizards, and I am in the right!"
Edward looked out of the window and saw all of the people walking around in the bustling city outside. Many camelids that were nurtured and reconstructed by wizards were walking on the street.
Many witch towers could be seen, having been built all around the capital city, and the witchcraft boundary that was coming out of the wizard towers enveloped the entire capital city. Many master apprentices were walking out of the master colleges. They just entered the master colleges and had started to receive their educations in witchcraft, so they were all smiling with hope and great expectations.
Only as he saw all of this progress and goodness did Edward finally calm himself and say, "Is is only by becoming a god that I can protect the path and the future of wizards! If I can become a god, the threshold to becoming a wizard will be lowered. Then, masters who hold the Book of Masters will spread that information to the entire world. They will then inherit the future and the consciousness of wizards. This will be the future of the wizards."
After several months, the expansion of the college and the ceremony of the God of Truth and Knowledge ignited the entire Kelermo Kingdom with a passion that was infectious! As all of the master towers opened their witchcraft boundaries, the eastern capital that was usually sultry during the summer days suddenly became pleasantly cool.
As the witchcraft fireworks surged into the sky, many students rushed here from the country towns in the Kelermo Kingdom to enroll in the master college. There were also merchant groups and believers present, all of whom were about to join the ceremony for the God of Truth and Knowledge. Needless to say, Bohr City was packed with people!
There were masters in white capes everywhere in the city. They were posting fliers about the teachings of the God of Truth and Knowledge, which had been printed by the alchemy printer. Through the wonderful power of the masters, the mightiness of the god was imprinted in the hearts of all of the people.
The enormous light screen that enveloped the entire city could be seen from the sky here, as could the standing master towers. There were masters practicing all forms of witchcraft as well, and as far as the eye could see were camelids, appaloosas, witchcraft tools, enslaved witchcraft servants and pipi demons!
Moreover, the magic potion of witchcraft had miraculous effects on people. It could activate the bloodline of a knight and cure all forms of diseases. Those who saw the miracles that were brought by the potion attributed them to the great God of Truth and Knowledge, and at that moment, everyone who saw the miracles became a disciple of the God of Truth and Knowledge.
During the nonstop ceremony that lasted for more than half a month, the power of belief from several cities and many countries around the capital city was gathered here in the capital city. Kelermo had now finally gathered enough power of belief and transformed his body of godly characteristics, which enabled him to successfully ignite the godly fire and gain a godly name of his own!
The gigantic shadow showed up in the church of the God of Truth and Knowledge, which was at the center. Amid the prayers of the white-caped masters and the permeating smoke of witchcraft spells, a new god showed up in front of everyone. He was holding the Book of Masters.
This scene made everyone in Bohr City go crazy. Everyone was shouting the new godly name of the God of Truth and Knowledge.
The syllables of the godly name were very difficult to pronounce, yet the people did not let this deter them, and the sound of their shouting echoed throughout the entire Bohr City, resounding everywhere and forming the name of Truth.
More than ten days later, the star god kingdom showed up in the sky. Then, the divine personality left the star god kingdom and fell from the sky.
Under the guard of many wizards and the protection of more than ten master towers, it safely fell within the territory of Kelermo Kingdom and merged with the enormous godly shadow.
In this way, the God of Truth and Knowledge was chosen, and the system of masters had been perfected as well. The originally powerful and mysterious wizards had disappeared, being replaced by masters who held the Book of Masters and believed in the God of Truth and Knowledge.
At the moment, these masters were walking to the front stage...

Hao Ren had never expected himself to find "King of Blood" in the diary of a commoner. Things became to make sense when the MDT finished parsing the remaining writing on the parchment.
"Heimerwin" in the diary matched the name on the plaque that Hao Ren found outside the big house. By now, he was confident that this Heimerwin was the seigneur of Domir and the area around it. The person who left behind these parchments did not leave behind his name, but one thing was sure, he was the butler of Heimerwin. The diary recorded what was happening before the town changed. Reading between the lines, Hao Ren could feel the emotion and uneasiness of the writer when a series of unusual events, shadows, and turbulence befell Domir.
It seemed that an infectious disease started it all. The voices that Lily heard and the text on the parchment confirmed this. Children in the town were infected with a strange illness that gradually robbed their strength, and there was no medical cure. During the dark period, events like this always created an air of horror, where people would inevitably link it to witchcraft and curses. Heimerwin, the seigneur did not do anything to arrest the spreading of rumors. Instead, his personality changed and he was listening to an unknown scholar. Instead of finding a cure for the disease, he put the witch on trial. The foreign 'scholar' was the one instigating this.
Record about the witch was scarce. It was hard to tell whether someone set an ordinary woman up or she was a real witch. Only when the witch's body was burned, it produced so much ash that it became a problem, which explained the black ashes in the town. If she was a real witch, then the ashes were probably a curse.
Hao Ren and Vivian zoomed in on the 'scholar.' The wizard was undoubtedly the one leaving behind the 'King of Blood' ritual.
While reading the parsed text, Hao Ren asked Vivian, "Is this very common in the past?"
"You mean the wizards and curses?" Vivian arched her eyebrows. "Sort of. Witchcraft, magic, cursed cities and villages, the fights between the exorcists and demons, and the commoners that were caught in between. It was a chaotic era where demon hunters and otherworldlings hadn't completely faded out of the commoners' life, the number of people who died from unnatural causes was just astounding. But what had happened to this town was still uncommon; it fell into an alien dimension. The wizard who could do this was, and he certainly had the help from some external forces, for example, the gate of Inferno. No ordinary wizards could do that."
Hao Ren suddenly stopped what he was doing. "You mean the power of the Inferno gate traps the town in this dimension?" he asked.
"The gate to Inferno should be the beginning of space-time distortion, but now the gate must have been closed." Vivian waved her hand. "Inferno is very unstable, and it couldn't keep the gate open for centuries."
Then Hao Ren continued reading the manuscripts. The record that the old butler left behind contained this message:
"...I found that the scholar always holds a black book. When he reads the book, he ways has a weird look on his face. No one who is blessed should have such expression, especially when reading a good book. I asked him about the book, and he gave me a cold reply. He said that it was a handwritten Bible, but for some religious reasons, he would not let anyone touch it, which aroused suspicion against him: What kind of Bible will reject a person of conscience to feel it? Unless it is the book of the devil.
"...I finally found an opportunity, and I took a glance at the strange, black book he had in his hand. The insidious man quickly discovered my move. He suddenly had a wicked look in his eyes though only for a short while. At that time, he finally took off the great mask of 'scholar.' I think I would never forget that a person's eyes could be so sinister... the eyes that one would get when he sells his soul to the devil. It was as cold as glass; his real eyeballs must be hanging on the devil's mantelpiece! But the weirdest thing was the book itself... there was no text, what I saw was only a blank page. Now I can only believe that God uses His miracle to protect His devout servant. The page must be filled with blasphemous symbols, and I was fortunate not having seen them."
The MDT flashed twice, which meant it had finished parsing the texts.
"Is black book mentioned in the text the magic book we found?" Hao Ren said to Vivian, feeling perplexed. "We didn't find the text on the magic book disappearing though."
Vivian shook her head. "It should be another book. It is improbable that the wizard had only one magic book. Anyway, we know who the wizard is now. I suspect he was the one behind the plaque and the witch incident. He seemed to have systematically dragged everyone in the town into some ritual. But based on the information at hand, I couldn't tell what kind of ritual it was."
The two rummaged around in the room but found nothing. Hao Ren tucked the parchments, and they went back down to the long hall on the ground floor.
Soon the others had also returned. When they all gathered, they did debrief on the spot.
"I'm no expert in witches, wizards, curses and things like that," Lily muttered, pointing to her own eyes. "I saw ghost shadows lurking around. They looked like the servants who worked here. I presumed Heimerwin the seigneur is among the shadows. But it was too chaotic that I couldn't tell who is who. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything related to the wizard, nor his shadow. Probably, his spirit isn't here."
"Sanba and I had checked the basement." Nangong Wuyue raised her tail. "There were rotten potatoes and barrels, and more ashes. Other than that, nothing else."
Turcan and Kassandra shook their heads one after another. They did not find anything in the side wings.
"The wizard must have lived here, but where did his hide his magic books and spellcasting props?" Hessiana scratched her chin. "This stuff is as important as a wizard's life; it was impossible that he didn't carry them with him all the time…"
Hessiana suddenly paused. They turned their heads and looked into the direction of the stairway on the upper floor. Nangong Sanba suddenly broke the silence. "Did you hear what I heard?"
Lily's ears flickered. "Yup. I heard footsteps."
Turcan and Kassandra immediately raised their guard and drew their sword and a large caliber pistol respectively. These were standard armament of the Hessiana family. The two then trod carefully towards the stairway. After moving just a few steps, they saw a shadow suddenly 'walked' down the stairs!
The shadow was made up of ashes, dark and dirty as soot, in the figure of a human. The figure paused on the stairway for a moment before it continued to walk down clumsily. Ashes dropped from the figure as it moved. Then the incredible happened; the figure had shaken off the ashes and revealed the underlying clothes and skin. It had the contours of a human. When it finally came down to the long hall, it almost appeared like a human.
Everyone held their weapons on guard but was curious at the same time until the 'thing' finally revealed itself as a tired-looking, middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man looked about forty years of age, his hairstyle and clothes suggested that he was the wealthy during the Medieval Period. The man was still in a stupor. But he quickly came out of it and stared at the strangers, wide-eyed.
The man froze for a few seconds before he screamed, turned and ran back up the stairs onto the upper floor.
Hao Ren snapped. "Go and get him!"
A white shadow lunged up the stairs; Lily had caught up with the man. She yanked a brick at the man and knocked him down. Hao Ren's heart missed a beat when he saw Lily's action; she could have broken up the man if he were made up of ashes.
The man fell, but he quickly got back to his feet as if nothing had happened.
Before the man ran again, Lily lunged forward and overpowered him, and dragged her 'trophy' back down. "I've got him!"
Lily tied the man up with a rope. The man looked at Hao Ren, terrified. "You... what are you going to do? Are you humans or ghosts?"
Hao Ren thought he had the wizard, but this man did not sound like one. He asked the man, "Who are you?"
The man replied in fear. "I... I'm the seigneur here, Heimerwin Ahtisaari..."

time goes by I've studied almost all the basic classes for the first year at hogwarts and can do most of my spells wand less I still have a bit of trouble doing it silently but it's coming along I learned basic potion ingredient refinement and how to handle a small potions lab thanks to mother I'm pretty good at it but I know snapes gunna be a cunt regardless unless I'm in slytherin which I won't be I'm planning gryffindor gotta help the golden boy behind the scenes and I'm planning a massive prank I'm so excited I bet Fred and George will flip if it works. other than my basic spells I've often snuck out to work on spell dodging with my shadows they cast a paint spell at me and I run around rolling and dodging if I get hit I start again it's great exercise and good for small combat practice I've also started practicing my martial arts against them I've learned not to close my eyes or flinch when I see something coming towards me I've also been slowly training Luna in wand less and silent casting she's rather good she does know how to use daggers now too she doesn't have much prospects in other hand to hand for some reason but she's absolutely terrifying with a dagger she has this small little precognition that helps her dodge and where to stab I and the shadows have never beat her once and I've never heard the end of it from Cassie or Luna speaking of which I've introduced Pandora and Luna to my kingdom needless to say they were flabbergasted with Luna squealing at such a high pitch I thought my eardrums would rupture.

Luna:your a knight? how come you didn't tell me? 
she makes a sad face 

Ryan:I'm not a knight I'm a king and someday you'll be one of my queens.

Luna: one of? 

Ryan: ask your mother the harem must be fed.

Luna: harem??

after that I introduce them to Cassie and give them a general explanation of who and what she is and how my kingdom functions. I show them around the newly furnished castle and smithy and take them to my new gym which has all sorts of exercise equipment for knights and even a medium sized pool. Luna goes absolutely bonkers and begs for swimming all the time now and playing in the castle like a real princess. I wonder what she will say once the ranch opens up anyway I show them my library with a couple hundred books including Anime and introduce them to the wonders of big screen HD TV and dvds it's an instant hit especially Disney movies I'll tell them about video games later. we spend time there with Cassie doting on us often pinching my cheeks and strangling me with hugs cause I'm tiny and cute. our days pass peacefully until it happened.

I got my hogwarts acceptance letter.
it was here the start of the story where everything really begins. 
I was excited Cassie was excited my parents where excited the gnomes where excited I'm taking them with me they need a new battleground I've decided the castle and the Forbidden Forest shall be their proving grounds.
but enough about that back to the letter!

Just to let everyone know this is my first story English is my native language I planned 0 chapters in this whole book and I literally started writing it because I simple wanted to read it myself. So has we've established so far I've said farewell John and I've returned home to find out my mother is a witch and im a witch myself.
My mom asks me to follow her to a different part of the house this room i didnt even no was there it was hidden behind a hidden door that was disguised as a full wall mirror, I've never seen my mother in the mirror before as I've had no reason to but standing by this mirror i saw my mother looking alot older with full head of grey hair and wearing different clothes than what she was actually wearing she was in a lovely black gown with bell cuffs and long flowing trail with grey and black lace detail she looked amazing.
So we enter through the mirror door into this what can only be described as a cave with candlesticks and lit candles dotted around the place they don't even look like they're burning down in the middle of the room is a big table with all kinds of things on there.
Looking at the table i see there's a goblet, a wand that looks like something out of harry potter,  a mini sword, an array of unlit candles, a big cauldron, and a deck of cards which i start to look at and question my mother " mom what are these here" with that she replied "they're tarot cards bill these will be part of your learning" i also see a big crystal ball on a stand made with ornamental skulls i hope so and not real human skulls.
As i look around the cave more and more i notice all different things 3 big bookcases full of books on witchcraft, spells, tarot, runes, crystals and brooms hanging on the walls and plants hanging "mom why are these plants dead and hanging with no soil ?" Iasked my mom 
"they're not plants Bill, They're herbs drying to use in my spells this one here is a special one this is sage which i need to make into a bundle today and ill then use it to cleanse the home and clear the negative" mom replied. "have you never noticed when you've come home how the house feels and smells different that it normally does ?" she asked me.
I replied "yes mom it does actually and is that what that does".
Looking around even further in the east side of the cave was a big leather bound A5 size book very nice looking with a pentagram on the front and decorated with sticks and moss and all things nature 
"Oh Bill becareful with that that book has been passed down from your grandmother and hers before that" mom said.
"And what is this book a heirloom or a nursery rhyme book" i replied.
"Oi Bill its not a joke that is the book of shadows where all spells and everything u need to no is in there all sections are for different things quick reference stuff the main stuff is in all these books you see around you".
"Sorry mom i wont make fun again, promise".
So i go on another explore of the cave thats the only way i can describe this room as theres no windows and the walls like they're decorated with rocks and moss and everything you'd find in a cave, there's even a little pond of water west side of the cave i only no the directions of these things as there's a compass engraved on the floor so im guessing this is correct.
"Mom when do we get into the stuff of doing spells and making magic" I asked
"You best get doing your first bit of learning heres a book please read it and study it and take this deck of cards and study those aswell".
"Ok mom but why have i got to read this book wicca by Scott Cunningham".
"Because Bill this book will tell you everything as a beginner into opening yourself up into the wiccan religion and being a witch" She replied.

We then leave the cave room the same way we came in and i look at my mom and smile widely i look back in the mirror at my mom and shes still wearing the same clothes and looks the same but without the mirror she has brown hair and is wearing normal casual clothes jeans, jumper and slippers so to me this is really spinning my head and confusing me but i didnt question it as the mirror image my mother is nearly an old lady.
So i head to my room and start reading the book as im really intrigued and what to no more about it but then i get distracted by the tarot cards ive been ask to learn and study so i pick a card and look at it this first card i pick is wheel of fortune at first glance i don't have any clue or anything but then something inside my head clicks and its telling me this is about someones fortune turning for the better i don't no if it's supposed to be upside down but im able to study it and hear in my head that they're fortune is going to get better and things will come out better than they have been.
It's getting late and I've got school tomorrow so I'm going have to stop studying the homework my mother has set for me and return to it tomorrow after school.

Rubbing his temples, Tuoba Gucheng asked, "What is it?" 
"It's something that Shi Qingzhou's mother had left her. Your grandfather and I know clearly what it is. Back then, Shi Qingzhou's mother was almost invincible. Shi Qingzhou then told your grandfather that her mother was practicing some form of witchcraft that had the power to allow one to go without eating, drinking, or answering nature's calls. Your grandfather had interrogated Shi Qingzhou repeatedly, but we never managed to find out where the book was," Shi Xiaoyu explained. 
"Perhaps it has been destroyed," said Tuoba Gucheng. 
"Do you take her for a fool? How could she possibly destroy something so important? I'll never believe it. Gucheng, have you ever thought about the unimaginable consequences that would ensue if Shi Qingzhou were to continue to spread the use of witchcraft with that book? Do you think that she'll let me off after all that I've done to her? She'll definitely garner all the support she can get and impart her skills of witchcraft to some people. She'd probably even try and kill me. Not to mention, that daughter of hers is not to be trifled with at all. If she hands that book to her daughter, the results would be dire. Son, if you can get your hands on that book, I promise you I won't try and find trouble with Shi Qingzhou and her daughter again. Will that do?" 
Noticing how serious she seemed, Tuoba Gucheng asked, "Is that book really so mystical?" 
"Why would I lie to you? If you don't believe me, call your maternal grandfather and ask him about it. This is absolutely real. Shi Qingzhou's mother allowed herself to be burned to death willingly. Otherwise, I doubt there'd be anyone who can handle her now," Shi Xiaoyu said earnestly.
"Does Father know about this?"
"Of course not. Why would he?" 
After much thought, Tuoba Gucheng decided that his mother probably wouldn't cook up such a far-fetched story. "You didn't manage to find out anything despite having locked her up for so many years. Maybe she was just duping you and such a book doesn't exist at all." 
Shi Xiaoyu was certain about the existence of the book and said, "Gucheng, it seems like you're still doubtful about my words. Shi Qingzhou's mother was initially only psychic. According to your grandfather, she was a very timid person who did not even dare to kill a chicken and was rather mild-mannered as well. All of a sudden, she changed drastically and went on a rampage. Your paternal grandmother knows about this too. If you don't believe me, you may ask her about it. Your paternal grandparents were the ones who ordered for Shi Qingzhou to be killed back then." 
"I don't understand, you said that Shi Qingzhou has had the book for years. If she really practiced witchcraft, would she have been imprisoned by you for years?" 
Plagued with worry, Shi Xiaoyu said, "She may not have practiced it back then, but witchcraft is a very sinister entity. We never know if she has acquired the skills now, but I have a strong feeling that she has already practiced it." 
"I know."
Shi Xiaoyu was extremely perturbed and insecure upon seeing her son's nonchalance. She frantically said, "Son, why aren't you worried at all? We can't give them any chances. Otherwise, things are going to get out of hand soon enough! Catch An Xiaoning and lock her up, then threaten Shi Qingzhou, just like how those people had threatened Shi Qingzhou's mother. She'll definitely surrender the book then. That's the simplest solution at hand." 
"Why didn't you use… this simplest solution back then? Why didn't you?" Tuoba Gucheng questioned. 
"It's all because of your father. He immediately did everything in his power to stop me when he found out that I tried to touch An Xiaoning. Your maternal grandfather even called to berate me last night, blaming me for not getting rid of Shi Qingzhou sooner. Everything would be fine as long as she's dead."
Tuoba Gucheng stood up and said, "Is Grandpa wrong? At the end of the day, you allowed things to get out of your control simply because you wanted to get your hands on that book and enjoy the thrill of torturing Shi Qingzhou." 
"I was being too silly and careless. Son, you can't repeat the mistake I committed. Nab An Xiaoning now and lock her up, then threaten Shi Qingzhou. She'll definitely surrender the book for her daughter's sake," said Shi Qingzhou, staring at her son with her eyes wide open. 
"I'll see to it." 
He headed to his paternal grandmother's place.
The elderly lady was basking in the sun while carrying her cat in her arms. Upon the sight of Tuoba Gucheng, she exclaimed merrily, "What brings you here? My precious grandson!" 
"Grandma, I've been busy lately. I came here to see you right away once I'm free." 
"Have a seat." She cleared her throat and continued, "I didn't attend the ceremony yesterday and yet, that ill-mannered lass didn't even have the willingness to come and visit me. Whatever, I only need one granddaughter, and that is Danxue."
"Grandma, I'd like to ask you about something." 
The elderly lady sighed and said, "I knew you came here with a hidden agenda. You're so busy with political affairs every day, how could you possibly be so free as to come here and visit me?" 
"Grandma, do you know about Shi Qingzhou's mother?"
"Yes, everyone knows who she was. She caused such a stir back then," she answered, patting her cat, which then purred and jumped onto the ground, where it lay with its eyes closed.
"Is what happened to her mother true? What exactly happened back then?" 
"Why are you asking me about this? Did your mother tell you?" 
"Yes, I'd like to find out more."
The elderly lady stared at him earnestly and said, "Your grandfather was informed about her mother's matters back then. I was there when he gave the orders to execute her. There was a video of that woman too. She seemed to have really been possessed. She was killing lives without blinking at all, so many people died because of her. We found out much later that Shi Qingzhou was her daughter. Yet, your uncle was bent on marrying Shi Qingzhou. How could your grandfather and I agree to that? Hence, we ordered for her to be executed. I can't believe she didn't die at all and even gave birth to a daughter. How unexpected. Anything is really possible in this world."
"My mother said that Shi Qingzhou's mother acted that way because she had been practicing a form of witchcraft. The book of witchcraft techniques is apparently with Shi Qingzhou now. I don't know if that's real or not." 
The elderly lady gasped and asked, "Is that true? How did your mother find out, then?" 
"She said that Shi Qingzhou told my maternal grandfather."
"Gucheng, you must verify this as soon as possible. If it's true, you mustn't let that book be circulated. I was really terrified when I watched that horrifying video back then. Even your grandfather was petrified as well. I'm sure you can imagine how formidable that thing is. We can't afford to delay any further. Hurry and verify it." 
After leaving his grandmother's place, Tuoba Gucheng called his maternal grandfather to his office.
Despite being almost eighty years old, Old Mr. Shi was still strong and healthy. The first thing he said upon seeing Tuoba Gucheng was to tell him to kill Shi Qingzhou at once. 
"Grandpa, she's your biological daughter." 
"Grandson, even if you were to show mercy on her, she might not spare you or your mother. That book of witchcraft is in her hands. I didn't think much about it because I thought that she was really dead back then. I was so infuriated that I couldn't sleep when your mother told me about everything last night." 
Tuoba Gucheng handed him a cup of tea and said, "Does that book really exist?"

"Aison Den! Richard Mayden, you useless garbage!"
The leader of the Witchcraft practitioners shouted at Aison Den with gnashing teeth when he saw the man.
Part of the grudgeful scream was for Richard Mayden but most of it was meant for the boss of the Herders of the South Sector.
The Herders deemed the Witchcraft practitioners as their arch nemesis.
The Witchcraft practitioners also deemed the Herders as their mortal enemy.
Neither side would stop unless the other perished.
Especially since both of them were the leader of their own faction in Ai City, the Witchcraft practitioner's leader, Mazmu, had a grudge against Aison Den that dated far back, a time where the Dark Moon Treaty didn't exist.
After the Dark Moon Treaty came into play, both sides were put under control but the grudge between them never faded.
Quite the contrary, their grudge brewed like whiskey, the longer the time, the spicier the taste. It was tormenting like a venomous bug eating the heart, the constant anxiety making it hard for either side to live their lives.
Therefore, it was natural that both of them switched their open fight to a secretive one, like this particular encounter.
Mazmu treated Richard Mayden as one of his pawns.
He originally planned to use Richard Mayden to stab Aisen Den in the back during a critical moment, but that unannounced intruder in the North Sector attracted the attention of the Herders. So in order to keep the Philosopher's Stone under the Herder's eyes, Mazmu had to expose his pawn, Richard Mayden, prematurely.
He didn't expect Richard Mayden to hold the Herders for long because he knew how scary his old rival was.
Though to Mazmu's surprise, Richard Mayden was so useless that he couldn't even hold the Herders back for a single night.
The more he thought about it, the more angry he got.
His mortal enemy was in front of him and the Philosopher's Stone was behind him.
Mazmu made his move without further ado, throwing a dozen balls of paper forward.
When the paper balls fell on the ground, they transformed into Papermen wielding swords. Each of them looked exceptionally lively, other than the thinness, they looked not more different than a normal human being, even the swords in their hands glaring like a real iron blade.
When Mazmu moved his fingers, the other Witchcraft practitioners attacked en masse.
Illusive, ferocious, wandering souls and fierce Hounds that hid in the shadows instantly filled the entire passage.
The Witchcraft practitioners didn't ask why the traps they set up beforehand failed. Those traps were set for dealing with outsiders, not their old rivals who knew every trick in their book. 
"Hmph!"
Facing the oncoming onslaught, Aison Den drew out the sword hidden in his walking staff and charged forward.
Aison Den was like a soaring eagle in the narrow passage, fast and keen, and he pointed his sword at Mazmu.
Wherever the tip of his sword swung, the Paperman, wandering souls, the Hounds, everything was cut in half.
Mazmu smiled coldly and lifted his hand again.
Tzzzzzt!
A dark green beam was fired out from his hand.
Aison Den, however, didn't have the slightest intention to stop. Even though the beam was fired at him, all he did was slightly turn his body, moving his weak spots out of the beam's trajectory and continued thrusting his sword forward.
The Philosopher's Stone was in front of his eyes!
Any kind of delay would result in the wildest consequences! He must end this as soon as possible.
Tzzzzt!
The dark green beam hit Aison Den's left shoulder. Sizzling noise like acid corroding metal sounded, a vile stench following. The coat and the shirt around his shoulder were instantly corroded away, revealing his bare flesh underneath, his skin starting to rot in exponential speed too, yet Aison Den held his sword firmer and faster.
Mazmu was shocked.
Having rivaled Aison Den for so many years, Mazmu knew what his rival ought to do and because of that, he understood how troublesome it would be.
Aison Den was determined to get the Philosopher's Stone!
As for Mazmu?
He too located it through many difficulties, how could he just give it to others, especially his old rival!
A fierce glare flashed over Mazmu's eyes, he too didn't want to step back. Instead, he moved his step aside, allowing Aison Den's sword to graze his right chest.
Spat!
Fresh blood sprayed out as the blade cut through the chest.
The dark green light gathered around Mazmu's hand again but as the light shone, Aison Den swept his sword sideways.
The dark green light exploded in front of Aison Den's chest, the sharp blade slicing half of Mazmu's chest open.
That was still not the end!
The two of them raised their legs and kicked each other's crotch, likewise no one was stepping back either.
Bang! Bang!
A unified thump echoed in the passage. Aison Den and Mazmu's faces turned pale, both of them clenching their teeth tight as no one wanted to step back. However, their body reflexes forced them backward uncontrollably.
Both of them put their thighs together, holding on to their crotch and enduring the excruciating pain and as the pain spread throughout their body, they stared at each other with the utmost hate.
As the new hate and old grudges added up, both of them growled at each other and then threw themselves towards one another. Neither of them would stop until one of them was dead.
Since their respective bosses were at each other's throats, the other Herders and Witchcraft practitioners would not just stand by and watch.
They too ran into each other, attacking each other frenziedly with everything they had.
Blades cutting flesh.
Ferocious monsters tearing limbs.
Strong corrosive beams corroding swords.
In addition to all the messy noises, explosions followed and sounded throughout the dug up tunnel.
Less than two minutes into battle, half of everyone in the tunnel had fallen.
The battle between Aison Den and Mazmu got even fiercer.
Aison Den was badly damaged, looking like he had just swam out from a pool of acid. Not a single piece of his meat was intact, he reeked badly and couldn't even stand still.
Mazmu, on the other hand, was drenched in blood, his stomach cut open, only a thin veil holding his innards inside and his left arm completely cut off.
Despite the serious injuries, both of them were still fighting.
Souuu!
Aison Den thrusted his sword again. 
Compared to the first strike, which was sharp and fast, this strike was a lot slower, the keen aura from the blade was left with a little, yet Mazmu did not dodge it.
Mazmu allowed the sword to stab his throat.
Tssss!
As the blade swiftly thrust through Mazmu's throat, the distance between them rapidly shortened. 
When the two of them came close face to face, Mazmu stuffed his right hand into his stomach, broke the veil that was holding his innards. He pulled his intestines out and wrapped it around Aison Den's neck.
The intestines came alive, catching Aison Den's neck, automatically tightening around him.
He started to suffocate but Aison Den wasn't really concerned, he twisted his wrist and cut Mazmu's throat completely.
After losing his neck's support, Mazmu's head fell aside but his face showed almost no expression. Only the menacing, ferocious look remained and it didn't change even after the head was cut off.
"Cough, cough cough!"
Aison Den choked on the intestines around his neck and as he was suffocating, he fell on the ground helplessly.
He had managed to cut Mazmu's head off but he too was at his end, a dying candle in the wind.
However, when he glanced over the living Papermen, Aison Den realized something was not right.
Mazmu was the controller of the Papermen, yet after his death, the Papermen continued to attack the Herders.
Aison Den looked up and saw Mazmu in soul form had somehow floated into the secret room, reaching out to the Philosopher's Stone.
In this critical moment, Aison Den no longer cared about why Mazmu's soul was unharmed by his sword, he only knew he could not allow Mazmu to succeed.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE!"
Aison Den shouted loudly, throwing himself into the room and as he was charging towards Mazmu's soul, Mazmu already got his hands on the Philosopher's Stone.
Kak!
The contraption was triggered, the whole room started to shake.
At the next moment…
A myriad of arrows were fired from the walls.
Fooooosh!
Aison Den and Mazmu were drowned by the arrow storm, and it was just a start!
Aison Den was hit by multiple arrows and Mazmu's soul was fading rapidly. They then saw the platform in the center of the room start to shake violently.
The platform looked like it was formed naturally, yet it split up left and right.
A black hole was revealed underneath.
Mazmu, whose soul was fading and was eager to escape with the stone, dived into the hole without a second thought.
Aison Den too gave chase without any hesitation, for he was determined to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone.
Then…
Kabooom!
The entire North Sector of Ai City trembled.
The whole of Ai City felt the shake, including Leaf Dining.
"What happened?" Starbeck, who was cooking soup in the kitchen, stuck his head out of the curtain.
"Nothing, probably some explosion caused by a gas leak. Go back to your cooking, I'm here," Kieran turned over to Starbeck with a smile and after Starbeck went back to the kitchen, he looked at Amy, or more accurately Amy/Carrie.
"This is the doll you asked for. It's a little special though, it is the reason that you are what you are now and it can also track your location, dead or alive."
Kieran told Carrie honestly when he passed her the doll.
From how Kieran viewed it, it was no good to hide the facts.
Since he agreed to trade, he ought to make it a win-win situation and it seemed like Carrie shared the same thought.
She controlled Amy's hand and wrote down an address and listed down a list.
Kieran nodded in satisfaction after he read through the list.
"Happy working together!" said Kieran.
Carrie smiled and nodded, letting Amy hold the doll and went back into Amy's body.
Amy looked down at the broken doll, touching it, and a strange feeling bloomed in her heart, familiar yet unknown. It was a very weird feeling and unknowingly, Amy soaked herself into the sensation.
Kieran saw her reaction, then signaled the Elite Hound beside his feet with a meaningful gaze before he quietly went upstairs.
The Elite Hound stood up, walked to the kitchen entrance and laid down horizontally. 
It lowered its head on its paws but its ears were up, it wasn't asleep and its teeth were barely showing, its eyes were also sharp.
The Elite Hound who was summoned by Kieran treated Kieran as the alpha male of its pack, following orders from the alpha male became utmost important.
More so, it didn't dislike Starbeck, hence it tended to carry out its duty fully.
Having 5 normal Hounds and one Elite Hounds was a great help for Kieran, at least he didn't have to overly worry about Starbeck.
The night breeze came through the window onto the second floor. 
Kieran's jacket was fluttering when he got up. Seeing Bloody Mary appear in Bain's look, he quickly strode over.
The Superior Demon's disguise was perfect in front of other people but in front of Kieran with the contract, it was useless.
"Boss! Unexpected discovery! I found a high quality magic stone!"
Bloody Mary took out Philosopher's Stone and gave it to Kieran with utmost flattery.
When Kieran saw the crystal clear Philosopher's Stone with its colorful glow, he felt energized, and when he touched the stone, his eyes were overflowing with astonishment.

Due to the contract, Kieran knew Bloody Mary had stumbled upon something good.
Just that he had never expected Bloody Mary would get its hands on the Philosopher's Stone. Even though it was just a shard, it was astonishing enough.
Based on what he knew about the Philosopher's Stone, the stone could bring the dead back to life and was a necessary item to complete a Prayer Spell!
This was just a piece of shard and its rarity was already in Advance Rank, its attribute was very good also.
Using that as a reference, Kieran could very well imagine what the complete Philosopher's Stone would look like.
On top of that, using it to recover Hp and Stamina wasn't the true usage of the shard.
If it was the true usage…
Kieran squinted his eyes in deep thoughts.
Though when he glanced over the 'unable to bring out of dungeon' line, he sighed helplessly.
Since it couldn't leave this dungeon world, its value was halved, unless…
Kieran instantly thought of something, turning to Bloody Mary.
"You know what to do?" Kieran asked.
"I do."
Bloody Mary nodded and then vanished from the spot.
It had to infiltrate the Herders or the Witchcraft practitioners to find the true ways of using the [Philosopher's Stone (Shard)].
It was nearly impossible for others, but for Bloody Mary?
It was only a little harder, and after tonight's battle, it will have a lot of chances.
"Seems like my arrangements are worth it!"
Bloody Mary returned to the North Sector with the lingering thought.
Kieran was about to close shop. He put [Philosopher's Stone (Shard)] in his pocket and headed to the restaurant entrance.
He took the little blackboard off the window and got ready to go back inside, but when he was about to push the door, he felt a gaze on his back.
The gaze was at random, it had no malicious intent, yet it caused goosebumps all over Kieran's back.

Welcome to a virtual underground game with no protection, full of lurking players who seek survival, power, and fortune. Kieran chose to enter this VRMMORPG game without hesitation, because he knew this was the only way for him to escape death’s grasp. Amara with a tray of brownies that she just made heading to the backyard. There she heard bits of conversation between her father, mother and Uncle Josh. Even though she only heard bits of it, she understands the core information. First, she won't be attending Uncle Josh's school, Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; second, she will be attending wizarding school somewhere near London named Hogwarts because of her father's job; third, she can't leave to London with her parents; and last, Uncle Josh will be the one helping her to buy school supplies and guide her through how to get to school there.
'So Uncle Josh will be the one who helps me buying supplies and go to Hogwarts. To be honest I'm disappointed that I can't study in Ilvermorny because Uncle's story of his school days is so awesome. Well it's better than nothing,' thought Amara.
Even though she heard the 'slightly' secret conversation, she doesn't pretend to not hear it, instead, she is running fast to them to ask a question. Of course, she was careful enough to not make the brownies fall.
"Is it true that I will not attend Ilvermorny like Uncle Josh?"
"It is true darling, your father's job had been moved over to London. If you study in Ilvermorny it will be too far and I also your father don't want that to happen." Her mother answered her question.
Amara pouts and asking again, "Are Hogwarts or something is like Ilvermorny at all? Because all I know about wizardry school is only from Uncle Josh and it was only about Ilvermorny and a bit about Castelobruxo that is in Brazil."
"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the British wizardry school, located in the Scottish Highlands, Amara. They also have houses just like Ilvermorny," this time Joshua answered her. 
"Here I have bought you a book called Hogwarts: A History. I think it will introduce you to Hogwarts as a first-year."
Amara reads the author's name is Bathilda Bagshot and it was a new printed edition, also the synopsis reads as the following: "Do you want to know the secret of Hogwarts? This book contains all the necessary information that you need and also don't. Though it was your choice to read it or not I will give you one trivia fact, the ceiling of the Great Hall is bewitched to look like the outside sky. Do you want to read it now?" 
'What a strange introduction to a book, but I have to say it makes me curious.' Amara's thoughts on the book.
"Thanks, Uncle Josh."
"You all right, Amy? I'm sorry you can't attend Ilvermorny," Alexander apologized as he knows how much of anticipation that his daughter had to attend Ilvermorny.
"It's okay, Papa. I know you can't help as your job required you to move to London," she replied. "When are we going to buy supplies, Uncle Josh?"
"How about when you're exactly eleven? And in the meantime, you can read that book and other old books from my school, though maybe they're a little different from what Hogwarts is using now."
"It's a promise then if you lie you have to buy me a pet," grinning Amara.
"All right, little Amy."

Right on June 13, Joshua came to guide Amara in buying her school supplies. Joshua also brought a letter of acceptance from Hogwarts to Amara. The letter is pastel yellow and uses purple wax seals in the form of a lion, snake, badger, and eagle. The front letter being addressed to Ms. A. Hill and her house address and bedroom. It reads as follow:

Amara said with one eyebrow up in question.
"Well, maybe that's their unique way of communication," grinning Joshua.
"...." Amara can only stare blankly at her uncle.

A few moments later Amara and her uncle are on the car heading to Dragonite Mall, a central market for all wizarding folk in America. It is an equivalent to Diagon Alley in Britain. Unlike Diagon Alley, Dragonite Mall is like a mall for No-Maj in common. The only difference is inside the have an extended charm for so many shops and also they pay with American wizarding folk currency, Dragot, and Sprink. Dragot currency has 3 types, which are 1 Dragot, ½ Dragot, and ¼ Dragot. 1 Dragot equals to 100 Sprink, ½ Dragot equals to 50 Sprink and ¼ Dragot equals to 25 Sprink.

Amara is a muggle-born witch from America who had to decline an offer to study at Ilvermorny because of her father's work moving to London. For a reason that is she could not be far from her parents, Amara had to study at Hogwarts instead. 'Another lucky bastard' A black haired boy was looking calmly at the retreating figures of 2 adults and a child, from an old cracked window of his room.  One can see a slight hint of jealousy in his eyes. Just like any other orphan he also wanted a family who can take care of him.He has been living in this Orphanage for his entire miserable life. As he was immersed in his own thoughts he suddenly heard a sharp voice from behind.
                    "Blair?, you got a visitor .This is Professor McGonagall .She is from a boarding school in Northern Scotland" The black haired boy turned his slightly narrowed grey eyes towards the sharp voice just to see the old matron looking at him indifferently while gesturing her hand towards a severe looking Scotish women.The Scotish women entered the room, hinting the matron to close the door ,to give them some Privacy.
"Hello Mister Bradley .My name is Minerva McGonagall and I work at the school called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft And Wizardry. I have come to offer you a place in my school...Your school if you would like to come."
'Witchcraft?, Wizardry? Is this some kind of a joke' He tried so hard not to sneer at her. As if she knew what he was thinking ,she took out a long wooden stick and waved it towards an Old dusty book which was placed on the table which was placed at the corner of his room .The book suddenly changed into a golden goblet. Blair's gray eyes widened a little as He just stood there looking intensely at the golden goblet  it was not everyday you see a book turning into a goblet. Tearing his eyes away from the goblet he said hesitantly "can I really do this"
                "Yes Mister Bradley ,That's what we do in Hogwarts, We teach students not only to use magic, But also to control it."Professor McGonagall said while handing him a Letter .

                              After hearing about getting school supplies ,A realisation dawned over him as his fist tighten a bit "But Professor ,I don't have money to buy school supplies."Other 11 year olds may not have to worry about things like this because their parents are there to manage those things for them ,He was nothing but a pathetic ,helpless orphan who was abandoned by his parents at the mear age of 1.The Stern gazes looking at him soften a little bit ,But Blair failed to notice it.
                  "Hogwarts provides scholarships to the students who have similar circumstances as yourself,So you don't have to worry about it ,Now Mister Bradley Take my hand, If you are willing to attend Hogwarts."she said while extending her right hand towards him. Blair Ponder for a while and then slowly raised his hand towards her.  as soon as their hands made contact with each ofthe, a suction like feeling embraced him.
And everything went black.
