I sat alone on the plane isolated from the rest of the world, having just found the power to return to my old life. 

She sat beside me and I found myself confused, lost, and soon in love.

Sara had made it to the airport, buying a ticket for the first plane flying to Sweden. It wasn't a direct flight and she would be stopping in Chicago to change planes. She had some time before they would start boarding. She could finally take a break from what she has been happening to her recently. Thinking back to earlier when she was driving to the airport, she remembered hearing reports and small updates about her company and what might happen soon because of her death. 'Everyone still thinks dead, it almost feels weird to still be alive' she thought to herself. Looking over to the screens near her gate, there was one showing the local news. The headline, Breaking: Sara Orwell Might Still Be Alive, people are finding out already. 

 After listening to what they were saying for a while they showed a picture of her on-screen. Everyone around her, even if they didn't know what she looked like before, they do now. A few groups starting talking to each other and glancing toward her. She tried not to worry about them too much, 'It's not like their going to do anything bad' she reasoned. Sara looked at the time, she still had 45 minutes till boarding starts. 

  She had gotten commercial boarding for this flight, it was a shorter flight so she won't have to deal with it for too long. But she, of course, got first-class tickets on the international flight out of Chicago. She was hoping that the people who were going to be sitting next to her don't make the flight to weird.

After what felt like hours, they finally started boarding for her flight. Sara picked up her small carry-on bag and headed to the line. She got to the desk, scanned her ticket, and started to head down the loading ramp. Sara got to her seat, looking forward to her first-class seat on the next flight. She'd have sometime before she got to Chicago, and her mind started to think about the events that she had experienced in the past week.

 'Who could have guessed that damn star was what I've been worrying about so long. I knew that something like it was possible, but I never thought that I'd be the one to start the problem on earth. I was still trying to make my own simulation, I guess I still have time to try and perfect my current system. The project was almost finished anyways, the only real work would be to figuring out how to transfer data from this world to my world.' She had just recently started working on theoretical ways to do so. That's why she moved to the Canada locations if the first place. She knew some people who worked there that could help her build and test the entrances she came up with. 

 'let's hope they're still alive, considering what supposedly happened in the week I was gone.' she continued thinking to herself trying to pass the time of the flight.

 "Now Boarding Gate C-15, Flight to Stockholm, Sweden", a voice said over the intercom. Sara had landed no to long ago and was still walking to the gate when she heard the announcement. Not wanting to miss her flight, She started walking faster. As she moved she saw the colors of various stores and restaurants past by. Carrying her bag on her shoulder as she went, she saw the sign for her gate just up ahead. Unlike last time, for this flight, she would be in first class, which also meant priority boarding. She there just as they were about to call the next group, she got to the desk and scanned her tickets. The person who was there understood that she was first class and let her through.

 This flight was a lot longer than the last one, she would have time to sleep before she got there. Not long after the plane got off the ground Sara was already getting ready to sleep. As she started drifting off she thought about the Instance Shape she saw her brother holding. 'How is any of this connected?...', she thought as she fell asleep.

   Sara looked around, she couldn't see anything. There was no light where she was. She didn't know where this was.

 "Hello, Again.", she heard a voice echoing around her. She couldn't tell where it was coming from. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere, all around her.

 "Who are you?, Why am I here?", she said frantically, trying to move around. Only to find that she couldn't, her body wasn't there. "What is this?!, I'm I dreaming?!", she started to freak out.

 "The path you are on now holds the key to The First Door. You may not understand this now, but you will need to know this. Found near a sun, burning red and silver, one with power sleeps ever nearer, His powers will help you on your path, The blue light was his journey.", the strange voice responded. Sara waited there confused for a while before trying to ask something else, "What are you?" 

 "What I am isn't for you, but if we speak again, I'll be sure to show you my form.", the voice answered.

Sara was going to ask one more question before she felt something strange.

Ashley could feel that the plane was about to land to the runway. "Here we go! Hahaha!" Ashley's voice was excited and loud. The two flight attendants stared at each other with raised eyebrows in Ashley's manner. 
"Look, I think it's her first time coming to America. I thought she was excited about everything she saw because she had never flown in a commercial plane. Remember, they have a private plane? But from the way she's acting, it seems this is her first time in America." Whispered one of the flight attendants to the other.
"Well, whether it's her first time or not... We are all still beneath her because she the wife of our CEO, and you better watch what you say, or else." The other attendant replied as she secretly looked at Ashley envious.
The plane cleared just under half an hour. The flight attendant opened the private door for Ashley and Tiny to descend to the tarmac before any other passengers.
Alden, who was sitting on the other side of the VIP section, was anxious. As soon as he was allowed to take his seatbelt off, he quickly got up and stood to look at the direction where Ashley and Tiny were. He was holding his breath, waiting for the door to open, knowing Ashley would be coming out soon.
But when the flight attendant began letting passengers out without opening the door where Ashley and Tiny were, he began to worry. "Why are they not opening the door?" He thought to wonder.
Alden knew there's something wrong when almost all of the VIP passengers had departed, and there's only a few of them left. He approaches the flight attendant that was ushering all the VIP passengers.
He chooses the younger flight attendant, thinking his charms might work. He produced a sweet smile before he made his inquiry. With a mild tone of voice, he asked.
 "Hi! May I ask a question?" While he was looking at her lovingly, trying to first at the same time.
The poor girl thought that he was planning on asking her out or her phone number. Therefore, she smiled back at him before she replied.
"Sure, sir! What can I do for you!" While her cheek turned cherry red.
"That room over there!" He pointed toward the door where Ashley and Tiny were. "The one that's used by level-1 VIP do they have a different exit door?" He asked nonchalantly.
It disappointed the flight attendant hearing his question. She was expecting him to say something else, but that did not happen. However, she's a professional and would never let it show on her face.
Instead, she put on a smile before... "Oh' that... Yes, sir! When entering, they use this door. But, when exiting, they use another door that takes them straight to their vehicle. 
They rarely go through the airport lobby. A car should be waiting for them down below." Said the flight attendant while she continues vowing to each VIP passengers that passed by.
Alden was disappointed when he heard what the flight attendant said. He swiftly turned around and went back to where all his carry-on luggage. He picked up and left as if the devil was chasing him. He didn't even bother paying attention to the flight attendant as he passed by.
He was acting as if there's an emergency from the way he was walking. If he could only run through the tarmac, he would have done it. Unfortunately, he has to worry about his image.
Once he arrived inside the airport lobby where he could see outside the runway, he quickly checked if the car that was picking up Ashley and Tiny was still there. However, when he looked down below, he couldn't see much for it was pitch dark. There was nothing Alden could do but stepped out of the airport, looking like the whole world collapsed on him.
As he was walking out of the airport, he was in deep thought. When suddenly, his face shine brightly and quickly took out his cellphone and called Koji Hanada in Japan.
"Good morning, THJ Group COO Hanada's office, how may I help you?" Koji's secretary answered.
"I would like to speak to COO Hanada!" Alden said before he even introduced himself.
"COO Hanada is not available at the moment, but if you leave your number ... I will make sure he receives it, sir!" 
"This is President Sanches, tell him it's urgent. I'm sure he would take my call." He spoke sternly in which the secretary didn't like one bit.
"I apologize, President Sanches, but COO Hanada is currently out of the office. I will make sure to give him your message. If there's nothing else ... Goodbye!" She then hangs up the phone before Alden was given a chance to respond.
He was furious that the secretary hangs up the phone on him. He was cursing the woman while he thought about calling again. However, he's service arrived, and he decided to wait until he came to his destination before making another call.

Meanwhile, Ashley and Tiny were inside the limousine on the way to the hotel where Tanaga is waiting. She was not a happy camper. 
Ashley thought that Tanaga would meet her at the airport, so she was excited to get off the plane. Suddenly the excitement disappeared, and she was disappointed. When they descended to the tarmac, there was only a limousine that Tanaga arrange to pick them up. Not even his shadow where near the vicinity of the airport.
She went inside the limousine without uttering a word. Once inside, she leaned her head and closed her eyes. Tiny noticed this and felt sorry for her. He knew that Ashley was missing her husband and was so excited to get off the plane, thinking he was waiting for her. 
Unfortunately, Tanaga never waited for anyone in his life, and Tiny knew it. Despite saying that he's in love with Ashley, he still won't change his habit. It's going to take some time before it happens. If it ever happens. 
When he sneaked a glance at Ashley, he saw that even though her eyes were close, tears were falling down her face. And it's breaking his heart.

Meanwhile, back in the hotel. Tanaga made an arrangement to have all her favorite dishes prepared. Even though he was already hungry, he decided to wait so they could eat together.
Once everything was ready, he took a quick shower and made sure he was handsome before making cocktail drinks and sitting in the living room to watch a football game. 
Little did he know that his wife was in a bad mood because he didn't pick her up at the airport.

            He had only one year left to complete his aeronotical engineering course. He was doing his best to be a better fast food restaurant crew so that after his graduation he could be hired as its regular permanent employee while training to fly an aircraft.

            Sometimes it came into his mind that maybe if it had not for his dream to be an airbus pilot in the future, he would have failed in Math and Science subjects. Another 'maybe' in his thought was that.... Maybe he was inspired by his TRUE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT no other than Leonor. 
             Thinking of his Leonor, made him regretful for telling her that they would see each other in person three years from his last year in his aeronautical engineering course.  At this point, he was fourth year in college. 
           Not long after the first semester of his fourth year in college for his bachelor's degree, without knowing it, it ended fastly as though only in a snap. 
           He was overwhelmed with joy when he received his class cards. Just like the other school years, he had no problem at all. 
           "What you sow is what you really reap." He was again talking to himself only in his mind. 
           Semestral break was over that he didn't even feel that he was able to relax since he decided to work full time to earn more money to be saved for future use. As though he had just woken up from a deep sleep to find out that it was enrollment week again. 
           His enrollment during the second semester, his last semester to be called a college graduate, needed him to curtail some amounts from his savings. It was his savings allocated for his flight training to have a student license certificate to fly an aeroplane. 
          Like that fast running bullet train, school semester was almost nearing to its end. Most schools have their tour to places for sight seeing, others went to industrial firms as an educational tour. 
            The school where Leonor was one of its students decided to have a tour in the City of Pines. It was during the first week of February when she texted Kenneth about it. 
           The text message that Kenneth read was that the date of their tour was February 12 to February 15. 
          That text made him to have a drastic decision. He had sent Leonor the required amount for the tour. He told him that he would be going with her in the tour as their buses would be passing by in Metro City. 
        Leonor was thrilled of Kenneth's sudden decision. But was saddened to think that the amount sent to her was another deduction from his savings. 
       At dawn of February 13 he boarded in the bus where Leonor was. His seat was beside Leonor's.
        Kenneth Allen was trully an honourable man. Leonor knew this when he wooed her at her home for the first time. His insinuation to kiss and hug her was only a joke. Another proof was during  his summer vacation when he visited her again at her home. Like the first time, he was contented with only  holding hands.

              No one ever knew from their own family as there was no unusual behaviour that was observed from them. They arrived in each home tired but happy.
           April came when both lovers graduated in college separately. Kenneth Allen graduated in Metro City while Leonor graduated in Prosperity City.         The moment of truth came when they would have spent a big amount of money for his flying training after passing the fourteen examinations he had doubtfully thought not to pass them.             It was also the reason why he had to go through with his flying training  through a Modular Course so that while teaching at day time on weekdays, he could have his training either at night or weekends.
           It really challenges his determination to fulfill his dream as they were not rich. If he was born with a silver spoon, he wouldn't be meeting difficulty in his routine, working and taking up Modular Course for his flight training program. He could have spent full time in his flight training course. 
         Even though he was able to pass the fourteen exams that he took up, if he was not physically, mentally, and psychologically fit, then he would never achieve his plan in life.
         He had undergone to an application for a student pilot licence for him to be able to fly an aircraft. In his flight his flight instructor should accompany him for his log of 20 hours flight time. Another 40 hours of flight time should be completed by him in order to be qualified as certified private pilot.
               When he started his flight training course, his saving for this purpose was exhausted.
                He had to apply for a loan to a certain bank so that he could continue his modular training course. His income from teaching could be used to pay his loan. Upon completing his payment, he would have applied again to have another higher level licence certificate as a pilot. 
             How he rwished to be a licensed commercial pilot before getting married. 
             Speaking of marrying, he had always his Leonor waiting for him to completely achieve his dream. In fact, this dream was not only for himself but for his family and for Leonor. 
             Tomorrow is Sunday and the time to communicate with her TRUE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT who would sooner or later be his WIFE. 
            Before he called her by the phone he texted her first. 
           "Hon, I was able to glimpse the beauty of the clouds and I have flown across the ocean." 
          "We are very happy for you, Ken."

            When he called he found out that her cell phone was switched off. It intrigued him more about the problem she said they have. 
          He pressed again the number of Leonor, again it was unswitched on yet. 
         He did it several times to no avail. 
         He had no one to voice out his worries. He was not used to telling his mother about his lovelife. He didn't feel telling about it either to his father. 
         He paced back and forth from his bedroom to the terrace that adjoined his bedroom to his older sister's. He did it for almost twenty minutes. 
           When he couldn't fathom the unrevealed problem he sat on his coach with his right hand on top of a table in front of it. Next, he moved his fingers as though he was playing the keys of a piano. The sound of his fingers tapping the table was the only sound that was breaking the silence. 
              Peeved, he stood up and walked towards his bed where he flatten his back on the soft bed feeling the velvety sheet. He put his two hands under his head while looking up to the ceiling. 
           He was deep in thought pondering and as if he was trying to reminisce an unforgettable occurrence in his life. 
          Smiling, he quickly sat down on his bed grasped one big pillow and hugged it tightly while talking. "Leonor" 
          He layed down on bed again without releasing the pillow from his hands. He was still hugging it.. Changing his position by facing at his left side. 
         At the very least, he did the changing of position facing from left to tight, from right to left for about ten times. 
       Finally, he decided to return to his first position when he was looking up the ceiling. Only at that time, he was still holding, squeezing, and hugging tightly the pillow. Again he called her name, "Leony." 
        Could it be the result of our impulsive agreement to solidify our relationship? However, if it could be... Why did it take her too long to tell me? 
        Then he counted through his finger. It was already then  the month of  November. Christmas is about to come. Then he threw the pillow he was hugging that landed on the floor and concurrently scratched his head with his two hands, looked upward, and sighed deeply with a sound. 
        Soon he left his bed, went to the closet where he took out his backpack. Next he packed some clothes, got his toiletress from his bathroom, changed his clothes, went downstairs and left his home. 
          In a bus terminal he paid a ticket bound to Prosperity City. 
         In the bus, he was restless. He tried to type the number of Leonor to call her once more, only to find out that it was still switched off. 
         He just texted hoping against hope that she might be able to read it when she felt switching her cell phone on. 
        "Hon, I am on my way coming for you. I am excited.💋💖🎶💕" 
         It was a miracle when he was lulled to sleep with a worried heart. 
        He arrived five in the morning knocking at the door of Leonor's house. 
        Her father opened the door for him who seemed to be hesitant to let him in. 
He greeted him in words and by kissing his right hand. 
        Before long, he opened the door wider and told him to get in. He was also told to sit down and wait for Leonor to wake up. 
       He complacently sat waiting for Leonor to wake up.

Why didn't vibrations appear in his shuttle-shaped perceptual vortex? It was a limitation of its composition, with the structure itself determining that it wouldn't have the advantage of vibrations.
Composition! Insights suddenly flashed through Chen Mu's brain, as he realized the core of the issue! Composition! It was composition! It was just because of limitations to the form that the composition of perception took inside of him that led to his perception having no way to realize vibrations.
Which was to say that his own perception could no longer meet his needs.
To put it another way, he could only learn breath control if he modified the composition of his perception to include the characteristics of vibration.
He was a little bit excited, since finding the crux of a problem moves one a step closer to finally being able to resolve it.
But he wasn't bold enough to just casually modify the composition of his perception. Modifying the composition of perception was a risky affair. The perceptual vortex in him was extremely stable, and it would create difficulties if he wanted to break it. The firmer a perceptual composition was, the more fraught with danger it would be to break it.
So, he immediately nixed any thoughts about breaking the composition of the perceptual vortex, since that would be too dangerous for him as he was then. He would only be able to optimize it, using the perceptual vortex as the basis, to bring it more in line with his current capabilities.
That was to say that he would maintain the fundamental structure of the perceptual vortex, while adding the properties of vibration to it.
But what kind of composition could achieve that goal?
He thought about it very hard, and after a long time he still couldn't come up with anything. The composition of the shuttle-shaped perceptual vortex was extremely stable, and the last time when he was facing the star lure, that sort of stability had saved his life, without letting him collapse his perception. Whereas now, the very stability of the composition of his perception was creating all his difficulties with making any modifications.

Bo Wen was really interested in looking all around. He had proposed to Ning Peng that he remain at the base for a while in his capacity as a card artisan. Although Ning Peng found it strange that he didn't want to meet Chen Mu right away, he still quickly agreed. That prince wasn't someone he could offend, and the clan elder had also given instructions that no matter what requests he had, they should be accommodated to the extent possible.
Ning Peng was concerned about certain things at the base being leaked to other powers. But he had no worries in that regard with Bo Wen. He was only afraid that the base would seem shabby to someone else.
In the Eastern Regions, there were twelve branches of the Ning family like them. They were like the branches and leaves of a tree, where the Ning family of the Eastern reaches were the original family, or the trunk of the tree. Unlike the other branches, none of the Eastern Ning's had ever flourished. Still, there were always a few outstanding people who appeared in each generation, and for the past few years, the Eastern Ning's weren't only growing, they were also forming stronger connections to the branches.
It was said that a long time ago the Ning family was one of the two top powers in the whole Eastern Region, and that at that time there weren't any branches. But then they suffered a sudden bout of assassinations which led to the tragic loss of the leader of that generation, whereupon the Ning family divided into over ten branches.
At that time everyone assumed that the Ning family was entering a period of decline, with the direct descendants who stood up in the generation which followed that leader leading it into that mess. Then after laboring to build themselves back up, the situation took shape as it was by contemporary times. The Eastern Ning's had finally returned to their former glory.
Seeing Bo Wen strolling around the base in such a leisurely fashion, only occasionally picking up a commission, was unsettling to Ning Peng who was so busy night and day.
Could it be that the daily lives of the young from the Eastern Ning's were all so relaxed? Ning Peng couldn't restrain the criticism he felt in his guts. He felt that this young one hadn't really come to look into Chen Mu's identity, but was purely interested in coming to relax. But he didn't dare express the least dissatisfaction; on the contrary, he would always be extremely enthusiastic every time he saw him.
Seeing that Bo Wen wasn't really coming to look for him and given that he had mountainous piles of things to do on his hands, Ning Peng really wasn't at liberty to pay attention to Bo Wen. The only thing that he was concerned about was that Ning Yan seemed to have taken an interest in Bo Wen, which was giving him a headache.

During that time, Chen Mu had been wracking his brains without coming up with any way to modify the composition of the perceptual vortex. He had never been able to mock up a suitable composition and was about to tear out all his hair, becoming restless with anxiety.
Without his quite realizing it, his mood was recently having a negative impact on all aspects of his training. Whether it was the perceptual training or something else, he wasn't making any headway.
He did quickly realize the issue, and that he would have to dispose of it quickly or else he wouldn't be able to learn the breath control that he so urgently needed right away.
He decided to go out and relax a little after being shut up in his apartment for so many days. Chen Mu's mode of relaxation was very simple, flight training. What was dull and boring to others, was full of joy to Chen Mu, the simplest and most basic joy.
Chen Mu had rented a high-grade flight training space, and he went running into it alone.
Once he had entered the training space, he put all of those thoughts which weren't making him happy to the back of his mind and flew off into the air with a shout.
Seeing all those obstacles floating around, Chen Mu went headlong into them without thinking about it.
The thrill that came with speed was heating up his blood. His mood from those last few days seemed to have been lit on fire, and Chen Mu didn't hold back from taking his speed to its highest.
The power he felt transmitted through his body increased, and the scene all around him blurred. The wind was roaring in his ears, and when he raised his head he could barely keep his eyes open.
This was his first time taking his speed to the top, and a kind of feeling that he had never experienced surged from the deepest part of him, with all his blood seeming to have started boiling in an instant.
He felt so carefree that he nearly shouted out, but before he could open his mouth, bam! Once he wasn't in control, he went headlong into that sky blue colored protective air sack, where he was quickly submerged into the soft cushions.
It took him a long time to struggle out, when he started laughing like a maniac. That little bit of craziness just then had loosened him up like he'd never felt before, clearing up his feelings and wiping away all the fog from the last few days.
With his carefree expression, Chen Mu didn't go right back to raising his speed to the limit the way that he just had, but started instead to practice with abandon.
Chen Mu had outstanding balance and reflexes, which in addition to his precise control of his perception, made him progress very rapidly.
According to the standard assessments, his flight score had already reached seven hundred and twenty-six. Although that wouldn't be considered a high score, it was still an accomplishment for someone like Chen Mu who hadn't been learning for very long.
His most outstanding score was in small-scale dodging training, where his score was generally above eighty, having gotten as high as ninety. That was a result which would put quite a few professional card artisans to shame. Using his perception to probe all around him, along with the very unconventional dodging and evading skills from the demonic woman, plus his fine control of perception, he had finally been able to get these scary results.
Usage wasn't very high for any of the flight training spaces, since for a lot of card artisans, flight was just a mode of travel. They were used to having their feet on the ground when they fought.
But Chen Mu really liked flight training, always practicing for two hours before leaving. He had at least ten "crashes" that time, though that didn't annoy him in the least, but on the contrary made him very happy.
Once he had finished his flight training, he walked out of the flight training space.
Just as he left through the gate, as he was walking along the terrace he ran into a woman dressed in a skin-tight combat suit coming right toward him. Chen Mu casually glanced at her and then retracted his gaze.
Cheng Ying had just joined the Ning family, and it hadn't been five days since she'd been at the base. Having just finished a commission, and having earned about forty contribution points, she was just arriving at the training space. She had long since heard that the Ning family had great training facilities, which was one of the reasons she had been attracted there.
She saw a man coming out of the flight training space with a face full of sweat, who took a look at her and then retracted his gaze.
Among card artisans, there were far fewer women than men, so that the women drew a lot of attention to themselves. And Cheng Ying's looks stood out, with mature and yet delicate facial features, showing a calm and reserved temperament. She was tall, and with that skin-tight combat suit, her curves would be something else to attract someone's eyes.
The reason she was called "The Rose," was because the rose is both beautiful and prickly. She had long become accustomed to the attention of others, and so running into a card artisan who was so cool, she couldn't help taking another look.
He looked very ordinary, with nothing special about him, and Cheng Ying guessed that the next time she saw him she would very likely not recognize him. But the thing that had made her the most comfortable about him was that he looked so cool, and she couldn't help sighing about how temperament could actually make an ugly person look so much more pleasant.
She quickly noted another strange thing.
How could his face be so full of sweat? Didn't he just come out from the flight training space?
Flight training was the training least likely to produce a sweat. In the first place, there wasn't that much activity, with the card artisan only having to control the jet stream card to go. What was needed was perception, and not strength. And the wind while flying face-up would quickly dry any sweat.
That person had been training until his face was sweating, which really seemed strange.
Chen Mu had no idea that the unrecognized woman was running through so many thoughts in her head in the instant that he brushed shoulders with her passing by.
Cheng Ying was moved, and since she was getting ready herself to go to the flight training space, why not go into that one? Having that thought, she immediately turned to enter the flight training space from which Chen Mu had just exited.
She swiped her room card.
"The standard rate for using this training space is three points per hour."
Cheng Ying was immediately startled, since three contribution points per hour was the standard fee for the highest-level training spaces. Was the guy really that wealthy? That was the first thought which had come to Cheng Ying's mind.
The first thing she felt upon entering the base was that contribution points were hard to earn. She would never have thought that the unremarkable guy she'd just seen would be using such a high-level training space.
There were only a few kinds of people who might have a lot of points, traders, card masters with outstanding power, and card artisans. And certainly, neither traders nor card masters would be likely to do flight training. Apart from them were the card artisans having outstanding strength who could take all kind of high-level commissions, where the rewards were naturally generous.

All the palaces were surrounded by mystical energies in Tiantai and celestial Qi.
Mu Chen went in front of the crowd. He was one of the nine emperors' direct disciples, now he had 362 new fellow disciples, half of the first batch, half of the second.
"Everybody, there's no forbidden place for you in Tiantai. You can go anywhere you wish. However, there are some palaces which can be dangerous for you. You have to be careful because you could die in there."
Everybody listened calmly. Mu Chen continued, "Our teachers are emperors, they usually don't show up. Even though you've become imperial cultivation disciples, whether you can receive their direct teachings or not will be determined by your capacity to study and your progress. It's not because you're in Tiantai that you're going to become incredible cultivators, you have to rely on yourself to study. The path of cultivation isn't easy. The emperors won't get involved in your life either, whether it is related to your family or yourselves. Even if we fight against Tian Long Divine Castle's people, they won't show up. They would only show up if Emperor Tian Long himself showed up."
The crowd listened calmly. Emperors were dignified in Ba Huang Province. They don't intervene in ordinary people's lives. Some emperors have millions of disciples, getting involved in each disciple's life was impossible. Unless a disciple drew the emperor's attention, the emperor wouldn't get involved. Besides, Hou Qing Lin respected Mu Chen a lot. Therefore, everybody obeyed Mu Chen and respected him.
"He's not that easy to deal with, hehe!" whispered Yuan Fei to Lin Feng. Lin Feng rolled his eyes. He was fearless. Mu Chen was saying those things with a purpose.
Everybody understood that nobody could fight, they were all part of the same group now. It was the same as in Tian Chi with the seven snowy peaks, there was no competition between them.
Mu Chen didn't pay attention to Yuan Fei as he brought the disciples to another place. The area seemed endless as it was impossible to count all the palaces.
However, Mu Chen had brought them to a specific road where they arrived in front of 81 palaces, the palaces there were the palaces the disciples had seen the last time. These were the palaces where they were going to live.
Those palaces were vast and lofty.
"One of those palaces is going to be mine." thought the crowd. They were impatient to see what there was inside.
"Brother." said someone at that moment. The crowd saw the Sadhu arrive in the air.
He shook his hand and a flight of stairs appeared. It was a flight of stairs with 9 groups of 9 steps.
"That was the last group of steps during the exam!" the crowd was surprised. 81 steps divided into nine groups.
"You're right, that's the same. The only thing is that you can see it properly now," said Mu Chen smiling. The flight of stairs twinkled and materialized into an actual flight of stairs.
The crowd was staring at the flight of stairs wondering what was going to happen.
 
Behind the flight of stairs, some roads appeared which looked like illusions.
There was a different world behind each group of steps.
The 81 palaces were after the second group of steps.
"Only those who can make it further than the first group of stairs can get a palace." remembered the crowd. After the ninth one, there were some hidden treasures.
"Back then, you passed that test. You obtained different keys. Thanks to your keys, you can easily reach the level you reached back then and enter a palace to practice cultivation. Those different levels offer different treasures." explained Mu Chen smiling indifferently.
"Brother, if I only have the key of the second group of steps, will I never have the opportunity to get to the third one?" asked someone.
"You will. Besides, you can do that anytime. You can go to the third group of steps at any time, to the extent that you can even move to a palace of the third level. You can even move your palace with you. For example, Lin Feng climbed up nine groups of steps, therefore, he can benefit from all the advantages of the ninth group of steps, he can even move his palace there." explained Mu Chen.
Suddenly, everybody had the urge to get to the highest level possible to benefit from the best advantages.
Lin Feng could go there directly.
"Buddy, can I have some fun too?" said Yuan Fei laughing.
Mu Chen looked at him, shook his head smiling, and said, "You're insane, buddy. Your grandfather gave you a great place to practice, it's a winner's kind-of place. Even though our cultivation places aren't bad, they can't be compared with yours, but do as you wish!"
"What winner are you talking about? If I don't leave my cultivation place, how can I become stronger?" said Yuan Fei scratching and shaking his head as if he had thought of something unpleasant.
"You're wealthy, but you just don't know it. Many people could only dream of having your life. The Great Ape Emperor wouldn't be so happy to hear that!" said Mu Chen.

It was benefit that this group of custodians was not renewed not worn yet, if they happened to be worn then there was possibility that soon they would dissolve for some time and lost their memories, and if they were renewed early then they might not have gone with the Xuan Rong on different quests so it was good that they could provide some useful information. 
 
 
 
"Before superior Xuan Rong sent us with grandchild we were on a quest with the first master, we were in the Frozen Basin of the Celestial Sphere which is also called a void near the seventh top ranking Manias, there we were sent to collect some herbs for your mentor," the custodian who has some courage came in front and related.

Jen looked back where she was supposed to look for the dead body of the hunter, she nodded and left the dark region with the custodians, the herb was better option rather than to shuffle the body of the hunter and find some clue. 
 
 
"This region is at the far end of the east, we have to travel much to reach the seventh Manias, it would take much time," Jen was thinking to use fiber blazon but it might not be available in these low ranking Manias near this region, according to the rough calculation they would take half a year to reach near the Frozen Basin of the Sphere. 
 
 
"We can lessen this time by flying, all the custodians could join in one," the custodian spoke and dissolved, others followed and soon the black smoke became a black biggest cloud, then it slowly came in to shape of a one big custodian with large feathers and huge body. 
 
 
Jen saw this and it made her truly amazed at the capabilities of these custodians. 
 
"We are ready for a fastest flight," the big black body of the smoke called out. 
 
Jen was hesitant, how she was supposed to sit on smoke? 
 
"Master, you should not worry about the flight," a big feather lowered on the ground in front of her and Jen was picked up on the feather very carefully, now she was sitting on the back and the feathers flapped with the wind. 
 
 
A hump appeared on the back of the smoky creature, "Hold it master, it will let you balance during fast flight," Jen held strongly and soon they were above the clouds.
 
Jen could feel the wind, her hair was flowing and her robes was fluttering, Jen has taken ride of guardian beast back then but the experience was completely different, the guardian beast have strong appearance while this smoke feels like hassock, soft enough that for few moments Jen was thinking that she might fell soon here or there. 
 
 
But surprisingly she was still fine and the flight was normal. 
 
"Master, if you feel the flight is faster than you can take it then you should tell and we will slower down a bit," the custodian howled and Jen could only hear broken words. 
 
 
Her heart was thumping, she thought to answer but it was clear that her soft voice might not reach this big smoky creature. 
 
The wind was strong because the custodian was at its best flight, Jen took this risk of the flight because it would solve her problem.          
      
  

One who said, "I am bad guy!" was speaking a lie.

"Finally ..." Said Helen, after tired of waiting for 30 minutes in the waiting room of Soekarno Hatta airport.

('Today is February 11, 2016, I finally went to otaku paradise Yeeessss! Japan, I'm coming!) Cheer Helen inside.

(Actually I'm still very sleepy, ehhh ...? No, not because of that dream, you know …)

(Well, that dream is just one of the cause... the main problem is… Yeah! That's because I can not wait to go to Japan! Hahaha …) Her inner monologue, while putting on a silly face with a giggling smile that looks weird in the eyes of the officer that was checking the ticket.

Helen then realized that she became a spectacle of people and trying to stay cool, though it's already late.

"Ehem, ahem ..." Helen tried to act like 'nothing has happened' to melt the awkward atmosphere.

('That was just a joke, the real cause was my flight hours! My plane was the very first flight, at 4 o'clock in the morning! So I had to leave at 2 am to the airport.) She said once again in her inner monologue.

Flights from Jakarta to Tokyo on average would take about 7 hours 10 minutes. And during that time, Helen tried to control herself as to not behave absurdly on the flight.

The flight attendants do not stop walking around and always check their passengers. They always pay attention, even if we are in economy class. Not once did Helen see the flight attendant not smiling when facing the passengers. Maybe they are trained like that, but we can feel the warmth of Japan from this famous 5-star airline.

The interior is modern, and all the fixtures like pillows, blankets are equipped with ANA logo. The aircraft is also equipped with entertainment system with touchscreen display, as well as remote control and headphones with a 3.5mm jack, so you can use your favorite headphones. Although the choice is not too much, but the entertainment on the plane is equipped with ANA original program that the content is interesting and make us feel cared for with their special choice.

Overall, the experience of ANA airplane is an unforgettable experience as it is different from other airlines, all flight attendants at All Nippon Airways and their pilot crews are all from Japan, so their English is limited, and always kinda unique when they try to communicate in English with Japanese accent.

This had caused a misunderstanding, between Helen and one of the flight attendants. Perhaps because the stewardess thought Helen also came from Japan, she also opened the conversation with the language of the sun country 

"Nani ka onomimono wa ikaga desu ka?" [Do you want to drink?] Ask the flight attendant kindly.

"Eh? Nani ga arimasu ka?" [Eh? Which do u have?] Helen answered spontaneously in Japanese.

"Ko-hi-, koucha, ko-ra, bi-ru, orenji ju-su ga gozaimasu ga." [There is coffee, tea, cola, beer, and orange juice.]

"Jaa, ko-hi-o onegai shimasu." [Then coffee please.]

"Satou to miruku wa otsukai ni narimasu ka?" [Do you want to use sugar and milk / cream?]

"Hai." [Yes.]

If you heard their brief conversation, Helen made an impression as fluent and understand Japanese. In fact, she's been cold sweating!

Helen did not expect the stewardess would actually greet her first. Don't even imagine about being the one that would greet first, she would never think of being asked in Japanese, ever!

(Huhuhu ... It was a relief to know that it wasn't in vain that I learned a little daily conversation in Japanese, although it's kinda self-taught and unorganized, or a mess. I learned a bit through anime, drama, movies and so on. The one who once interacted with me in Japanese is Naoko-san! It's a bit of a mess and I'm so glad that Naoko-san is willing to teach and voluntarily fix some of my mistakes. If it was not for that, maybe now I ... Ughh... ) Helen murmured to herself, unable to imagine beyond her absurd imagination.

But Helen was still nervous. Given that earlier she only answered spontaneously, limited to her understanding. She could not imagine what would happen next if the stewardess came back to question her in Japanese! Please give some mercy!

Not being narcissistic or something, but Helen is often mistaken for Japanese. This kind of event is not the first time. Previously, Helen had been walking in the square of Kota Tua* at Jakarta and met with some people who thought she was a tourist from Japan. They even want to take pictures together. Helen had heard rumors that many Japanese people are inadequatein foreign language, such as English. Although they work in an environment where at any time requires them to communicate in English!

For example… this Onee-chan*. Even though she's a flight attendant at an international airline, she can barely speak english!

When this tall, cute woman asked Helen about what menu Helen wanted to have, Helen could only surrender. She actually knows what this onee-chan is asking, but the problem is that Helen can not answer in Japanese!

This stewardess was shocked and panicked, she immediately tried to apologize repeatedly while she looking like want to crying and embarrassed.

"Oyurushi kudasai ... Hontōni ... Shitsureishimashita." Helen kinda recognized the words of the flight attendant said. The whole point is, 'I apologize, I'm sorry for my impudence or something.' 😑

The other passengers were immediately looking at them. For some reason, everyone stared intently at Helen as if to say "you are bullying her (flight attendant)!"

(Hey, this is not my fault!) Helen replied in her heart. (Clearly this onee-chan misunderstands, why is it my fault, I'm the victim here! Ugh…)It's like she want to dug a hole and hide in it.

In fact, the stewardess seemed a bit cute when she realized she was apologizing in Japanese and immediately tried to offer food to Helen with broken English. "Wes-tan or Ja-panis". She keep trying hard to provide best service to the passengers, despite their limited ability. This makes Helen salute them.

The footsteps of the passengers and people passing by in the arrival terminal.

Outside, there were throngs of people waiting for the arrival of passengers. Whether it's family, friends, tourists or business associates.

Of the many people who were jostling, there was a tall japanese young man, who looked cute. He seemed to struggle to hold the cardboard paper saying "Helen Marvelyn, Welcome to Japan!"

Helen felt it's a bit funny and pity him. He looks so cute as he tries to defend his "position" and a little tragic because of his big body continues to be squeezed and pushed by the crowd of people around him

Helen then approached him and asked, "Kon'nichiwa, anata wa Sakamoto Haru desu ka?" [Good afternoon, are you Sakamoto Haru?]

"Hai!" [Yes] Answer the young man with enthusiasm when he looking at Helen.

"Welcome to Japan, Helen." He greeted her with a smile.

Helen smiled back and said, "Thank u ..."

"I can speak bahasa a little bit." Reveal the young man named Haru.

"Oh."

Helen was not too surprised to hear about it, considering that she is still not proficient in communicating or interacting with Japanese language, either writing or speaking. The company must have found a guide who can communicate using "bahasa" for Helen, so she does not need to always speak English.

"Ah, let's get acquainted once more, my name is Haru Sakamoto, you can call me Haru." He smiled and held out his hand.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Helen Marvelyn Anwar. You can call me Helen." Helen's reply while shook hands with Haru.

They both kept chatting and exchanging information about each other, while walking to the shuttle stop. There's already a red car and a middle-aged man, with a sturdy and elegant body posture awaiting them.

(Wow ... That car looks cool!) Comment Helen in her mind.

Haru introduced the man's identity, as they approached him.

"Helen, let me introduce you, this is Tanaka, he is my personal butler." He stated to Helen.

"..." Helen was really speechless hearing the word "butler".

(Actually, where did you came from the rich young master?!) Helen screamed in her heart.

('Butler?  Also personal butler he said? Hahaha ... Really ???) Helen really wanted to cry because of what she heard, but no tears came out.

Helen is really confused how can she get a guide like Haru? Who is a young master of a wealthy family, that even has his own personal butler! And why is this young master even become her guide? Someone please tell me! Please tell me this is just a joke!

Helen continued to wail in disbelief in her mind. If only she could, Helen would have done it while rolling on the streets. Unfortunately, it only happens in her own imagination.

"Hmm, Helen? What's up?" Haru asked innocently.

(Ugh ... Please do not look at me with that cute eyes.) Helen's protest once again in her heart.

Helen feels that today is truly one of the most absurd day she has ever experienced! From the start of events on the plane, to his personal guide and butler.

(It's sad, it's really tragic and awful! Now it's absurd, Ah ... Alright, forget about it, let's think about it next time. Right now I'm really tired and need a break!) Complained her heart.

"Hmmm ... Haru ..."

"I'm really feeling tired right now, can we go straight to where I would live?"

Haru and Helen got into the car, while Tanaka stuffed Helen's bags and things into the trunk of the car.

Thanks to someone who has told me about my mistakes. When I checked it I found something odd. The finished part of the edit is gone! That's why I'm confused! I already has fixed some mistakes, but they all disappeared and returned as before! shit! And  I'm in the process of checking and fixing the errors that exist on every chapters. Fūma Monou, a cold-blooded doctor, who had killed many people for revenge. Fūma no longer believed in others since the past events that happened to him, he didn't believe in love. But ... Since then, Yuki who initially only considered Fūma as her benefactor, was beginning to open up her heart to Fūma. Likewise, Fūma who initially picked Yuki just for his sake alone, now began to feel different things to the little girl who was growing up.

Nevertheless, both chose to hide their feelings which resulted in frequent misunderstandings between the two of them.

When they finally found out each others’ feelings, and Fūma started to believe in love, happiness, and sincerity. Destiny had another will ... It actually separated the two of them.

Fūma felt fooled by destiny. He vowed not to fall in love again and avenged Yuki's death.

But, once again destiny brought them together in the future. With new identities and new lives.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain, I will be your chief flight attendant on this flight. On behalf of the entire crew, welcome aboard Sky Airlines flight ….. "

The Captain's voice was loud and clear, hearable through the planes speakers by every passenger.

Most of them weren't paying any attention to what was said, they weren't flying for the first time, and were already familiar with the always same speech, given by the captain before departure. ".. What .. am I?"

"Nei what did you say?" A concerned voice came from his side.

"Ha? Ah yes .. Nei .." Looking around himself he remembered his name, Nei Adalish.

"There is nothing to be nervous about, the probability of a flight accident is by far lower than a car accident, did you know?" The familiar voice from the seat besides him said, trying to appease him, and seemingly taking his words as a sign of flight nervousness.

"Ah .. yes .. thank you.. Nicola. I am fine." Nei answered, recalling the name of the young boy besides him.

Satisfied with the answer and nodding his head, Nicola took his attention back to the adjustment of his still loose seat belt.

'What happened? That felt .. as .. as if .. I forgot who I was..' Somehow terrified Nei looked nervously around himself—as to reassure himself that nothing was wrong. 'It's probably just the anxiety and stress before flights. I should forget about it!'

Ignoring the feeling of strangeness and fear. Nei calmed his heavily pounding heart; and crammed through the leather backpack before him, for his headphones.

Yet even after pulling through the whole back he couldn't find them. 'I could have sworn I put them somewhere inside of here.' At that moment, he suddenly seemed to notice something out of the corner of his eyes. 

It was a red like line hanging down from his ears to the pocket in his pants. The whole time over, his headphones were already plugged into his ears, and the cable connected to his phone. Even the music that he downloaded for the flight was playing. 

Nei sensed cold sweat slowly running down his back, tickling his neck. Slamming onto the button to stop the playing music, he took a deep breath. 'What the hell happened! I can't remember playing music, let alone hearing it..'

Fear slowly paralyzed all of Nei's thoughts. Only with the captains final words, did he gain back control over mind and body. "….. until an announcement is made upon arrival. Thank you."

"Ah finally the flight is starting! Nei? Hey Nei are you listening?" Nicola was still concerned about Nei, and decided to try distracting him.

"Sorry I am not feeling well Nicola, I am going to close my eyes for a little bit." Nei was thankful for his friends concern, but he didn't want anything more than to sleep and be back to normal when they arrived.

"Ah, understood.. if you need anything just tell me! Should I wake you up when food is served? Nei? .. Nei?"

Not bothering to answer, Nei closed his confusion filled eyes and pushed the same button from before, restarting the music.

Being exhausted from all the mysterious happenings, Nei felt an unusually strong desire for sleep. Hoping to forget everything that transpired and to arrive soon at the destination—he gave in, and slowly drifted away.

When a startling realization hit him! Making him give his all to rip his eyes open! .. But without success! He couldn't stop his slowly fading conscious. Only a thought escaped..

'I  AM  NOT  NEI!'

'What am I?' Was Nei's first thought, upon waking up on a weed infested plain.

Surrounding him, as far as the eye could see was nothing but endless yellow fog, with distant bright flashes of lightning, followed by deep sounds of thunder. 

Shadows in many shapes and forms were fighting inside of them; seen only when the foggy world was brightened by the greenish looking light that induced a feeling of mystery. 

They were forms with strength far above the comprehension of ordinary entities. From towering demons in the form of humans to dreadful beasts of earthly lineage. Some much bigger than their counterparts on Earth, others with gigantic horns and sharp fangs.

Creatures not imaginable even in the worst of human nightmares.

'My name is .. Nei? .. Nei Adalish? But what does that mean?' Looking down on his in sweat drenched body; he could see a pair of legs, feet, arms and hands with an abdomen connecting them. Covering him, was a loosely tied grey colored robe. Except these he noticed his well trained body, that had tanned and rough skin. That would make others consider if he wasn't a farmer.

'I have my name..' Unsure Nei thought while looking at his surroundings. 'I remember Earth, and I have all the knowledge a normal earthling should have.. only that they're more like information, not memories.'

'In the end, did I die?..And what in the world is this place, not heaven so much is sure, maybe hell? Or something completely unexpected? What other myths were there?' Nei continually asked himself, while warily scanning his surroundings for potential dangers.

'The Egyptian Underworld? The Japanese Yomi? Or The Path Of Reincarnation? Whatever it is.. I have to leave. The earlier the better!' Nei was worried that if he stayed longer, one of those beasts in the light would get to him, so he made up his mind to find a way out.

However there wasn't really a way to distinguish directions in the World of Fog; as the name implied there was only fog on all his sides, blocking all attempts of his spying eyes. In the end Nei was forced to gamble, and follow the direction he felt was safest.

After marching-off, he soon became worried about where to find water and food in an almost barren land where only weed could grow. Fortunately this worry of his solved itself rather fast. Because even after walking for a long time—he noticed that he didn't get hungry or thirsty. 

He wasn't quite sure, how long he walked through the weed plagued plains, since there was no day or night to be seen. But he was certain, that he walked for at least a day or two. 'That means I won't die of hunger. And I don't have to search for food. Which results, in me having more time to find my way out.'

The first thing Nei did in his time of lonesome walking over the barren land; was contemplating about the situation he got himself trapped in, and in which way to escape it. 'Maybe I died and got lost in the underworld after drinking Grandma Mengs Elixir.. No, no, no that can't possibly have happened right?' Murmuring to himself, he started slowly losing some sanity. 'I mean that's not scientific, on the other hand nothing of this is!.. Okay, okay let's think about a positive scenario first. Lost in the underworld would probably be the worst..' 

'What if this is another world into which I reincarnated. It often happened in the novels from Earth. Come to speak of it why do I even remember earth, but not who I was or where I am now?' Sighing once again, Nei's eyes started to look teary and distant. 'Let's calm down for the moment and look at it objectively. I can see fog around me. In the distance there are green lighting bolts, that make my neck hair stand straight. With demon looking shadows inside of them … well ahem .. Please! don't let me be lost in the underworld..'

In the end Nei didn't come far with his thoughts, forming the conclusion that there weren't enough or even any information to make a reliable statement. He could only make some not likely assumptions; and that's a nice way to put it, the truth was, 'he had no idea'.

Coming to an bottleneck about his whereabouts. Nei thought deeply about who he was and what could have brought him here.

Sadly he wasn't very successful at all in even remembering a single piece of useful information. Becoming thoroughly disappointed with himself in the process.

He didn't know where he was, he didn't know where he came from or where to go. He couldn't even answer the question of who he was. 

Nei had only his name and a bit of common sense. Which in the situation he was in, didn't really help him, on the contrary it harmed him, making him fearful of everything around him. 

The situation reminded him of a famous saying, "Don't fear the unknown, attack it!" he didn't know precisely from where he knew it, but it became clear to Nei, that words were easy to understand, yet hard to live by. He knew fearing the unknown wasn't helping him in any way, even harming him. Still he couldn't help but be fearful about this strange place. 

Not knowing what was hiding behind the seemingly endless yellow fog, was slowly starting to show its toll on his spirit.

'I walked for probably two days, walking the whole time in a straight line not seeing anything expect the fog and shadows. Which could mean I am moving in circles or, that I don't move at all. What next? Do I continue the same way, or do I try another direction?' That's when out of nowhere, the ground under his feet started to tremble.

"An earthquake!" Nei screamed out, while throwing his body onto the ground—till he noticed the immensely long crack slowly forming under him.

"Ahh!Shit!" Seeing it, Nei instantly rolled himself away from the splitting ground. However the crack seemed to have a life of its own—continuously growing bigger, chasing him, almost swallowing him whole. Till it stopped as suddenly as it started; going back to normal, as if all was but an illusion. 

But Nei knew it wasn't; hell, he just barely escaped sure death. Yes, in the end he was unharmed except a few scratches, and his dirtied robe—but it could all have ended differently, if he was only a second slower to react. The crack was only a few centimeters short from taking his life.

Pulling himself up from the ground; he looked straight ahead, to the point he stood at beforehand. It was now more than just a small crack—the more fitting description would be a canyon.

Slowly and carefully Nei walked up to the edge, peeping inside of it. 

Discovering, that the inside walls of the canyon, were not rocks and dirt as normally expected. They consisted of pure glass, but not the kind he could look through—more like a mirrors glass, in which his image was reflected.

Seeing himself in the reflection of the mirror, Nei somehow felt horrible, even scared. The image felt so foreign to him, so unknown, so weird, that it forced him to avert his sight. "Is that me? Why.. why can't I remember anything.." His shivering voice echoed through the fog, sounding like a broken toy.

At that moment—only a silver short of losing his mind; Nei suddenly felt a sense of extreme foreboding. He wasn't sure what this feeling was telling him; if good or bad, but he knew something was going to happen soon.

"ak-k-raa.."

A scream! Nei thought while looking into the darkness filled depth of the canyon, where the sound originated from—not daring to take another breath.

He wasn't used to any sound except the far away thunder; especially a scream like this, that was totally different to anything he heard before.

It came suddenly, and took him unprepared. This, combined with the darkness filled crack that gave the scream, filled him with only greater horror.

'A scream like that cannot be made by a human, right? It sounded like ..' Pausing, Nei swallowed his words, '..like a savage beast.'
