Lavanya stated visiting the hospital having been informed about Khushi everything. Well, as much as he could inform her that is. She talked to Khushi every day as much as she can, shared her experiences, talked about their times together, all under Dr.Angad's supervision. Nothing at all worked though, just as he suspected. Nothing seems to be working what so ever. Most of the stories and instances Lavanya narrated to her had nothing to do with Khushi. Although the conversation she used, to talk about, did involve khushi, nothing that could even distantly relate to her. All were more about Lavanya's own life stories and instances with colleagues. He could tell everything was going over Khushi's head. Nothing was reaching her senses to trigger a reaction"to put it in Angad's words.
 
 
Two weeks of continues efforts all going in vain, but Arnav could tell something has been processing in Angad's medical brain. He just hoped it meant something good. One such day when the two of them were observing another session of Khushi with Lavanya, Angad was keen on observing the pulse machine having instructed Lavanya to speak about certain aspects. Angad fell into a completely thoughtful silence observing the fluctuating pulse rate and after processing his mind for another few moments his eyes directly met Arnav's and he instantly knew what was going on in his friends mind.
"Her senses are working" Angad simply stated as they were now sitting across each other in the hospital lounge.
 
"They are?"
 
"Yes, it was a really tough shot to confirm though, it completely missed our minds Arnav, and we were all looking at the right side of it, not the wrong side----"
 
 
He then heard Arnav intake a sharp breath shrieking his eyes shut that clearly told him about his confused state of mind.  "Don't you think your sentence just has reverse words in it?" Arnav said as patiently as he could with his low voice, clenching his teeth, speaking in between his tight lips.
Angad sighed bringing himself to the edge of the couch and looked right into his eyes.
 
 
"Arnav listen to me carefully and just"just don't freak out okay?" Arnav was already holding his breath and he just stared pointedly urging him to continue.
 
 
"Given the fact that we don't really know anything about her, I can see it is almost impossible to try and find out any anything related to her near past that might come under good memories"in fact I doubt if anything ever happened in the past few years of her life that can hardly be regarded as good' part of her memories" he made air quotes.
 
 
"The file of her term of employment has quite a few sexual harassment cases and the complaints were merely written in her own words. We did find them quite emotional and quite articulated, dint we?"
 
 
"What are you suggesting Angad?" he snapped suddenly engulfed with the same kind of disorientation in his chest that he experienced when Lavanya first mentioned this.
 
 
"Just calm down and listen, okay?"

"The art of smiling is not a rocket science; it's just a reflex action to what you feel. Try it's not that hard, Arnav."
 
He smiled again at the memory;  Seven years, was long enough to forget someone, not that the memory of the person haunted him or tortured him in anyway, he is just amused by himself to relive the memory ever so naturally every time he found himself helping someone.  
"Ram Singh" he greeted as he reached the parking place of the airport.
 
"Hello sir how was your flight?" the driver spoke reaching out to his luggage.
 
"It was good, I would have hailed a cab, you shouldn't have come" he said going around the SUV and settling himself behind the wheel.
 
"Oh, I was strictly instructed not to allow you to drive at this time of the night sir---" he said hesitantly looking at Arnav settled behind the wheel already.
 
"Then your Maam shouldn't have sent you Ram singh, the taxi would have served that purpose, don't you think? Now shut up and take the place beside me or you can choose to stay here for the rest of the night, and oh! I might just deduct your one day pay if you choose to stay by the way" he said and smirked.
 
Ram Singh visibly cursed his boss under his breath. He slowed down his car as they neared the building with both of their gazes fixed to the white image above them and finally the car halted just below the building. Sensing the car stop, Ram Singh turned his head to look at his boss as a reflex action. "Sir, I was just kidding; you are not thinking to go up there, are you?"
He asked swallowing hard as he could see Arnav just ignoring him and his glance fixed to that image.
 
Arnav stepped out of his car all the way looking up at her and stood facing the ridiculously tall building, his face bent behind in an attempt to take a clear look at the white image. He tugged his hands in his pockets and continued to observe her. The white gown looked oversized for her petite body, it looked more like a hospital gown, her legs stood long and straight on the very thin wall; he noticed there wasn't a shiver nor a tremble in the way she stood there, her posture almost looked relaxed and his lips parted registering the view that spoke volumes to him, but somehow nothing made sense. He felt a sudden pull and he swallowed hard processing the unknown fear creeping up his nerves.His legs on their own accord made their way into the building completely ignoring the repeated calls from his driver. The doors of the elevator wide opened into the top most floor and then he walked around to find the stair case leading to the terrace. He wasn't rushing, he wasn't running nor was in a panic state, he was just walking as if in a trance" He could see her from behind, her petite body from within the loose gown showing curves blended in her form in perfect places, as the mid-night breeze blew her gown from the inner side.There was some kind of familiarity with her.Making sure, she acknowledged him so that he wouldn't startle her; ."May be you should jump and take a look to see what it feels like?" he said seeing her withdrawing her hands and tugging them in front of her. The rest of the stance in her body still seemed relaxed and as expected by him, she wasn't startled.
 "I'm not gonna jump stranger, you can go back to whatever you were doing before you decided to save me" she said 
"You are not gonna jump?" he definitely did guess that "Well, sorry to disappoint you Stranger, but I'm not jumping" she stated bringing her palms over her hands and rubbing against the cold breeze.
 "I'm glad, I wonder why stand like that if you have no intention to jump though"
 "Dangerous, isn't it?" "Standing at this height several meters above the ground, that little feeling you get when you stand here dominates every other misery of your life; 
Just when he reached the bottom of the steps  his legs halted at the entrance as the white bundle rushed down in front of his eyes landing with a thud on the ground:he recognize her kushi

The next day arrived faster than usual. Out in the capital, at daybreak – when citizens rushed over to the business and commercial district for work; newspapers sold quickly. It might not have looked apparent at first, the influence of Adventurers and guild had grown over the years. As famed and popular as mages were at one point, that spot was slowly taken by the born fighters with the inhuman potential. For many, that line of work was a dream, one that many wanted to partake despite the dangers.
 "First platinum quest to be completed," boys ran around the streets trying to sell issues." Located near the town square, the heart of the capital from where every district could be reached from – small cabinets with papers had opened. The words platinum quest had piqued the interest of many potential buyers. 
 'The fantasy of being the first to accomplish a tier-one quest has been claimed. Not by a top-guild, but one of the lower and lesser-known guilds: Kniq. Details about the exact quest have been kept confidential. An interview with the guild master has given a vague idea of what transpired. The closed border leading to the south has been subjected to an onslaught of monster's activity. The aforementioned guild's involvement in stopping the siege was imperative. For three months, the guild fought day and night to keep our border safe. From tier-10 to tier-3 monsters, they fought tirelessly to save us all.' A summary of what the news had written was read out loud by Undrar. 
 "They also go on to quote us from our interview," Deadeyes pointed out. Sat around a lovely breakfast with newspapers on the table, they read and smiled for it was a great honor to be the headline of today's news. 
 "The fight was long and hard. Though in the end, with the power of teamwork – we survived the assault," – Avon [Sapphire].
 "At times I thought death had had me in its eyesight. Nevertheless, a pull of the trigger later, all my fears fired alongside the bullet," – Deadeyes [Steel].
 "To save others and protect what is precious, tis the job of a hero," – Achilles [Silver].
 "As powerful as we might have been, if it wasn't for a well-established plan of action, we'd had died without a time to refute," – Viola [Silver].
 "Many comrades were lost, but their memories live on in our memories." – Emma[Sapphire].
 "To endure and power through, that was the teaching given by our guild leader," – Emmy[Sapphire].
After the quotes, the article went into further details about the fights. This information was directed mostly towards aspiring adventurers. Having a firm idea of how things were done could be the deciding factor between life and death. At the end, written in a smaller font, no quotes from Kniq's guild leader. Thus, being the first party to accomplish such a feat, their name would be forever etched into history. The reaction from said news had taken the capital by stride. Many were amazed by the details of the fight. The standards to which the protectors had to follow was raised. Many of the top-guilds were gutted by said news, though it remained behind closed doors.
 "They might quote us, but none really know our faces do they," Achilles commented then sipped tea.
 "You're right, it's probably for the better," Undrar agreed. 
A few meters away, stood on the first floor in the hallway, Staxius waited with a bag filled with books. 'I wish I had more time to spend with Xula yesterday,' he sighed, '-I did manage to get the scholar to make me a sword similar to Orenmir, Blood Blade of the Queen. It might take a few days; we'll have to wait and see.' After returning to Pandora last night – the Lymsey sister took refuge and slept in the lab. As silent as a cat, he teleported to Arda where a stern-looking Xula waited. The supposed one-week trip turned into months. A little angry, he got given the silent treatment. Nevertheless, after flattery and compliments, breaking through that adorable, angry side of Xula – they made up with a shared passionate night. Before the sun awoke, Staxius returned for there were things to be settled. 
 "I'm sorry for being such a bad husband, you deserve better," cuddled under a blanket, he whispered with regret in the tone. A vivid piece of memory that carried over to the next day.
 "It's fine," she caressed his hair and face, "-you're working hard for both my and the kingdom's sake. How it hurts to be away from he who stole my heart," a kiss later, "-I don't mind it one bit. Do what must be done, thou shalt always have a home to return. Tis my job as a wife to welcome thee with open arms," a smile followed by the scent of flowers, Xula's generosity knew no bounds. 
 "Living a normal life isn't in our fate," he sighed, "-you're a queen and the heir to the god of death. Excepting normality is a dream, however, I vow to always stand by thy side," their fingers interlocked, face to face, he smiled and she blushed, "-I adore you so much, queen of my heart and soul, I adore you…"
 "Wake up…" the daydream broke by Lizzie's voice. 
 "Oh, sorry about that," the prior night's memories returned to the back of the mind. The love that built between the king and queen transcended what people deemed as normal. Both felt exactly the same way, despite not having time to spend with one another. Each moment allowed was precious – what they had was unconditional love. To love without condition, each wanted the other's happiness and expected nothing in return. Selfless and noble – the bond wasn't tied to the mortal realm either, it reached their soul as well. Not to forget, Staxius was the conduit for Xula, channeling her power and returning her status as Angel wasn't a mere act of kindness. He had done something worth much more than words and actions. In Xula's case, she gave Staxius a new purpose, a new will, and a new mindset. A change that made him into a better person, a change he'd never forget for it was the best thing to ever happen. In that sense, both were saviors to one another, the love story of an angel and the heir to a god.
 "It's fine," Lizzie spoke with a smile, her uniform, one of white and golden color – the one that was previously torn now replaced.
 "Shall we leave?" he offered.
 "After we say good-bye to the others," she smiled, thus their arrival at the hotel's eatery. 
 "Morning everyone," Lizzie spoke with a big smile.
 "Morning Lizzie, morning master," the others returned said greeting.
 "I see the newspaper has our name on it," Staxius pointed to which Avon lent his copy. The chatter continued as if old friends. A few minutes later, Auic descended from her room with a lunchbox. 
 "Sorry I'm late," she said whilst panting, her face covered in sweat.
 "It's fine," Lizzie reassured the fox-lady then took the box.
 "Master…" confused, Auic needed answers.
 "I forgot to say," he cleared his throat and gained the table's attention. "-Starting today, I've decided to embrace my duty as Lizzie's guardian. Change is sure to come; I hope everyone is ready – that platinum quest we accomplished has opened new avenues," the voice soothing and filled with determination.
 "What about the twins then?" Undrar asked, "-from what I found out, they don't have a place to call home any longer," her concern was well-founded. 
 "Good point," he returned her question with a smile, "-Kniq is a big family. Atop being a guild, we're one big unit – the twins might not have a home yet," a quick pause later, "-that is to say that, the change will come. Best be ready, my friends, my comrades, you best be ready – we shall soon enter a new age," Staxius spoke with a leader's vigor.
 "We'll trust you," Achilles replied with a smile, they nodded in agreement. 
 "It's getting rather late, I'll see you all later. If anything comes up, do reach out – I shall be at Pandora, I think," wearing the same clothes as yesterday, the duo entered Void and headed off to school.
 "Something has changed," Deadeyes commented.
 "I think so, yeah," Undrar agreed.
 "Let's not forget that Staxius is still twenty or so," Avon added.
 "Age is just a number," Auic interjected, "-in my opinion, I think master is standing up to his many responsibilities. As he said, change is underway, we all can but wait and see," breakfast continued. 
 "Are you going to come and fetch me later?" Auic asked, her face could barely keep with her smile, one big and large.
 "Yes," he replied kindly, "-I'll try to be as regular as I can. Though, if something comes up, I'll make sure to send a message," he took out the phone, "-Is that alright?" 
 "Sound good," she took out hers and exchanged details. 
 "If I don't respond, contact Auic,"
 "Don't worry," Lizzie pouted, "-it's not like this is the first time I'm doing this."
 "I guess not," he chuckled then patted her head.
 "What are you doing up so early," Adete awoke from her slumber.
 "See for yourself," the car drove forth. An hour later, they arrived, the roads were jammed for the most part. A normal part of life here. 
 "Here we are," he voiced, the car came to a slow stop before the gate. 
 "Check that car out," the students pointed at Void, "-it must be so expensive," they commented. "Whoever that student is, must come from a rich family – I'd not be surprised if they were royalty," the chatter came from a group of students that waited for their comrades to arrive. Judging by their tie, they were in the same grade as Lizzie.
 "I'll see you later," Staxius said to which the door opened.
 "Later," she replied with a joyful smile, "-don't forget to call if anything happens," her head tilted to the right slightly, then pulled out a peace-sign, after which, she walked away.
 'I wonder who she learned that from,' the car sped forth. As opposed to reluctantly enter her classroom, Lizzie arrived with glee on her face. Being cared for by Staxius had done more than he'd thought. 
 'Now it's time to go buy the place where Kniq can finally live in peace. I wonder who should I call, Raulf or Cake,' parked underneath an array of trees lined on the sidewalk, Staxius leaned on the hood and had a cigar. Leaves from the branches fell slowly to the ground, it seemed as if snow, peaceful and idyllic. 
 *Beep,* the phone rang suddenly.
 "Hello?" he asked with no idea to who had called.
 "Good morning Staxius," a feminine voice spoke, "-it's me, Melisa," she voiced.
 "Is something the matter?" 
 "Yes, could you come by the guild as soon as possible, the guild master has requested thy presence." 
 "On my way," the phone hung. 'Must be the reward for all those monsters I have slain.' Rather than driving back, he teleported just shy of the guild, none noticed for it was done in an alley barely large enough to fit Void. 
 'What's this all about,' the car pulled up against the entrance, he stepped out. A crowd of adventurers waited and spoke as if something major had happened. "Pardon me," he called and made his way through the crowd. 
 'What the hell,' stood near the counter, Raulf crossed his arms and had a giant sword embedded into the floor. "None shall come forth till the Guild leader of Kniq has made himself present," he voiced strongly.
 "Have you called?" the voice monotonous and face unimpressed, he walked and stood before Raulf.
 "There you are," from serious, the face changed into one friendly, "-where have you been," they embraced. "We've got many things to discuss," the giant sword lifted as if feather. The man stepped away strongly. Baffled, Staxius stared Diane and Melisa in search of answers. The former shrugged whilst the latter mumbled, 'I don't know.' Obliged to follow, he continued. Behind, the gathering crowd rushed the counter since quests were displayed a few seconds earlier. 'This could not have come at a better time,' Staxius thought. The door opened – Raulf sat with a gentle smile. 


Thrust into an enigmatic world born from bloodshed; venture inside its complexities, dark-side, and always changing nature. At the center, a boy; brought up by an exiled mage, steps into a life of independence. A test to try and change his life for the better after witnessing what war can do to a person. The walk towards finding a stable living gets toppled as a unique magical element awakens. Using people, toying with emotions, doing anything and everything to get what he wants, this is the life of the next Death Reaper. Mostly emotionless, life continues as questions about his state of mind and being remains clouded behind many personas.

This isn’t the story of a single man, it’s the story of a whole world. Read as the world builds itself from the ground up. Conspiracies, evil, the dark side of humanity. In addition, tis the start of a new age; the birth of monsters – a story depicting the tales of the first heroes and demons to ever exist. 

The Wielder of Death Magic isn’t a typical fantasy. The heroes don’t summon forth power from heroes of old, here, the characters are the ones who make up the myths and legends for the next generation. Amidst the turmoil, Staxius, he lives on, watching and waiting as the world grows. 

P.S, I’m not that normal of a writer, my advice is to not expect anything going into this world. Forget everything, I personally, don’t care about rules and limitations and what can be considered to be the norm – the characters are given life, the world moves on its own; I’m just a spectator. No plot, nothing planned, all that you read is the product of the characters moving and acting individually. As opposed to me subjecting them with my emotions, the connection is reversed. They are the ones who dictate the story (Believe it or not, that's the way I write) A world, a story, characters, and the foolish author; we all evolve as one. "What?"
Marlin was confused at what was happening. He had now died 100 times. Is that what it was saying? He didn't know much apart from making weapons and killing but knowing that he had now died 100 times according to this voice.
He did not know what was going on so decided to ask some questions.
"What is this shop that you speak of?"
[A shop is a location where goods and services are bought and sold]
"Ok, is that like when I want to exchange some of my deer for some leather? Is that right?"
[Correct]
"Ok I see"
Currently Marlin was within the void as he liked to call it. This was the space he would be transported to every time he died. In this space he had no body and the only thing here was just his thoughts.
"Now what do you mean I have got 1000 points and that the shop is now available?"
[Firstly, Points are granted by killing living beings or by accomplishing difficult things. Such as, slaying a demi-god or by establishing a kingdom. However, those are some of the most difficult ones to achieve]
[Secondly, the shop is granted to the user when a major achievement is unlocked for the first time]
"Ok. I think I get it."
"Also, why am I here?"
Ever since Marlin had been reborn in the body of that baby he had always wondered if there was ever going to be a way out. There had to be seem reason it was him. Although, he was strong in his past life he didn't think that wouldn't be the reason for some gods to do this to him.
[You are here to grow stronger]
"But why am I constantly being reborn in this world?"
[User's strength is insufficient to obtain such knowledge]
"Hmmm"
Since Marin couldn't get any information out of this voice it would be better to just focus on thinking on how to become stronger so that next time, he was reborn he could put up a fight. Marlin would be disappointed if this shop just had a couple wooden spears and then some food. 
But Marlin thought that if that was the case, he would just go off himself but ironically, he would just be reborn again. Marlin knew that this shop was the key to becoming stronger. Maybe he could become strong enough to kill those wolves but Marlin highly doubted that.
If he could find something useful to survive in this shop maybe he might be hopeful again.
"Ok bring me to this shop"
[Transporting user to shop]
Suddenly, the darkness that Marlin was used to seeing was now being invaded by a bright light in the distance. This light came closer and closer until it was right in front of him. 
What now laid in front of Marlin there three colossal square black pillars towering into the sky. There was a bright white spotlight shining upon all three pillars and as you looked up you could see no end to how tall these pillars were.
If you looked closer, you could barely see small indents that riddled all three of the pillars. Marlin then looked Infront of him and saw a small altar lecter with a small ancient leather book on top.
"Umm how is this a shop?"
[This is a special type of shop]
"So how do I buy things like a normal shop would let you do?"
[Pick up the book and read it. You shall understand how everything works]
"Ok. But I don't have hands or anything to pick it up with"
[Juts think that you are going to do something such as moving or picking up that book and its shall happen]
Marlin then imagined the book floating in the air towards him and it opening up. To his surprise it happened, and the book now laid in front of him open in its first page.
"Ummm, what is this book thing again?"
[A book is an object that holds certain information or knowledge. You can access it by opening the cover and flipping over the pages. You can use books to tell stories, retell parts of history, explain how parts of the world work and many other things]
"That sounds really complicated"
[Indeed, it is]
Marlin then looked at the characters but couldn't understand them and was about to ask the voice another question but was promptly interrupted by a large pain in his non existent head.
"AAAAAHH"
Marlin couldn't do anything but wait until this pain subsided. This pain was akin to a massive stone being hammered on top of his head. This pain came in waves and Marlin couldn't focus at all and put his thoughts in chaos.
After a while of this pain attacking him it finally calmed down. The pain was still there but not as strong.
"What was that? Did you do that to me?"
Marlin was quite mad at what had happened and wanted an explanation.
[This pain was the effect of the knowledge of the characters and words within the book being sent to your brain. This is because if you didn't understand what you were buying it would be akin to gambling. You might even go into debt and that is not what you want]
"Ok, well could you have done it in a way that wouldn't hurt as much"
[Do not worry, in the future when similar things such as this the pain will be much more mild so we may as well get it out of the way]
"I see"
After finishing his conversation with the voice, he looked closed the book again and looked at the cover of this book and the letters on it. Marlin didn't know why but these letters seemed to be swaying side to side in his vision and was like an illusion and had much difficulties understanding what it said.
At some moments he could discern the letters, but it was only for the briefest of a moment and even if he saw what it read, he would forget what it was the next second. It was very weird, as if something was stopping him from trying to read it but didn't mind it. This voice and whatever gods were playing with him had their secrets.
So, he may as well stop poking his nose into their business. They have granted him the power of being reborn over and over and have given him something to do with his life which he was kind of grateful for and unhappy at the same time for. 
His past life was incredibly boring in his eyes. Now that something interesting was happening to him he couldn't really care. He just wants to live out his life and go with the flow. 
Marlin then reopened the book and read the introduction
'Within this book lays the strength that will be necessary for survival within the cruel world below. There are 3 ways you can grow your power. Physical, knowledge and magic. You can buy these certain powers from the following categories by killing or achieving great things within your lifetime. There are no limits to what you can do. These things give you a corresponding amount of points which you can then buy abilities with. In order to buy something, you rip out the page of the ability that you wish to buy and the cost of it shall be deducted from your points. If the cost of the item exceeds the amount of points you hold then you will go into debt. If in your next life you cannot pay off the amount of points that you owe you will face punishment. The greater amount of points you owe the greater the punishment. In extreme cases you will be stripped of all abilities and be forced to be reborn as a slave serving a high-level power for 1000 thousand lives. You can unlock abilities by doing certain things. Such as, dying of starvation 1000 times will let you buy an ability that makes you not need to eat any food for your whole life. There are two different types of achievements. Major achievements and minor achievements. Major Achievements give you points and the ability that you unlock with it Is free. Minor achievements do not give points and the ability you unlock is not free. Now go, become stronger'
After reading the introduction he then understood how this whole shop worked. It felt like some demon ritual and as he looked at these 3 pillars, he seemed even more suspicious of what was going on.

He flipped over to the next page and saw his points count written on the page.

"I don't want to become accidentally in debt and receive a punishment so I'll remember this number.
Marlin then looked through the whole book seeing everything he could buy while stroking his non-existent beard as if hoping he could gain insight on what was the best thing to buy. You know what they say, old men with beards are incredibly wise.

As Marlin read through the book multiple comments went through his head.
"Oh, the wolves might not kill me if I had that but considering that I'm so yummy they won't spare me"

Marlin then continued reading through the book.
"Virgin for 69 lives? Well that is quite a sneaky insult"
"WOAH, that master of the one strike dojo sounds really strong. I wonder if I can ever learn from him"
"Nerve strengthening? That's probably because of how much I crawled"
"Tears of a goddess? I cried every time I was reborn and had to stop it every time. That was annoying."
"So, I could be able to hide my life energy. Wait, did I keep dying because those wolves could see my life energy! No wonder."
"What? If I could be reborn as a child from now on, I wouldn't have to be crawling the whole time."
After looking through the whole book he came to a decision.
Marlin then flipped over the page titled 'Growing Boy'. Marlin ripped the page with his mind and the flawless white paper then crumbled up into a ball as it ripped off the page despite Marlin not thinking it. The paper then kept condensing. It was the size of tennis ball, then a grape and then a grain of sand. Marlin kept looking closer and closer as if it was some cool toy he had just found.
Suddenly, this ball of paper lit up and was now a large line of fire. Marlin moved back with his mind and saw this line of fire travel like a snake towards the first pillar. This ability was under the Physical section so he thought that this pillar must be for physical abilities.
The line of fire then went to and area about 5 meters from the base of the pillar and flew into the pillar like a ghost. The pillar then glowed a bright red hue and slowly the red hue travelled to where the small line of fire had entered from. When all the red hue light had travelled to where the line of fire had entered disappeared from some weird symbols appeared on the pillar. These symbols were incredibly complicated and seemed to be made from lava or fire. Marlin flew further to the pillar and suddenly met and invisible barrier sending pain into his head
"Ow"
Marlin then got a closer look and saw the small indents in the pillar were actually in a similar shape of those lave symbols. Marlin thought these pillars were cool and mysterious at the same time but didn't stop looking at the pillar until a couple minutes later due to being so consumed in those symbols.
Marlin looked around himself one more time and asked,
"How do I leave?"

Now what?

(Story inspired by cjet799's story 'Perks of Immortality'. I haven't seen many books like PoI so i decided to make a book using the concept of PoI. I will try my best to make my story distuingishable from his. btw his story is on RoyalRoad.

The heck was a Gene Advancement? Rose had the word 'puzzlement' written across her face.
"I knew you'd be confused," Elsa grinned and leaned into the couch with a sigh, "It's really rare for someone in the slums to get it, probably only Samuel and the Slum Lords have it, but. . .in the cities, with enough money, not so much. I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it."
"Just get to the point," Rose rolled her eyes, feeling as if the girl was purposefully making things suspenseful.
Elsa rolled her eyes back in return and waved her hand, "Fine fine."
"It's umm, well, I can't explain it well, but it's basically unlocking your potential. You can strengthen yourself, increase your endurance or speed, hell, you could probably make it possible for you to swim better."
"Swim better?" Rose raised an eyebrow, "That just sounds silly."
"It's the real deal," Elsa shrugged, "You can do a lot with it, but just think of it as increasing your attributes, it can't make you magical, but it can increase your 'stats'."
She placed air-quotes on the word 'stats'.
"Of course, you can only only do it 3 times in your life, and its dangerous each time. The first stage has a ninety percent chance of survival, the second has a fifty percent chance at survival, and the last stage has a ten percent chance at survival. There are ways to increase the odds, but it's usually like that, yup."
She nodded matter-of-factly.
'An incrementing gamble. . .' Rose thought as a question popped into her head.
"But what does that have to do with him looking young?"
"Oh that!" Elsa exclaimed, "That's why it's so fucking expensive! It shaves off 30 years of aging, each time you get it, like a fountain of youth. God knows why he got it so early, god knows how the hell he could afford 2 of them!"
Rose tilted her head. That's why it was so expensive? Because it reduced aging?
"Of course you don't get it," The girl in front of her tched, "You're a—."
"An Homunculus?"
Elsa nodded, shrugged, and pointed to the table between them, "Let's just finish eating."
The plate in front of Rose had spaghetti, meatballs, and a sauce she was unfamiliar with. On the right was a a cup of juice. Of course, they were already half-eaten.
"You can do a lot. . ." Rose muttered.
"I can only cook simple things. . ." Elsa replied, "So you like it?"
"It's good."
When she actually ate, Rose wasn't picky.
"Thanks."
Her friend seemed happier at that answer, however.
The afternoon passed and the night came. When the girl went to sleep, and she physically could not, Rose pondered on the fact that she was learning a lot from her stay here, both about this world and the individual known as Elsa.
Yet, deep within the night, her Pad blinked up as a call came her way with the words 'Mare' on screen. When she accepted it, what came to view was a shaking camera and a girl on the run. The person looked behind her, then back forward.
Noticing the waving brown hair and the sunburn eyes that squinted in uncertainty, Rose thought the info-breaker was definitely on the run from something.
"Save me and I'll pay you! Ten thousand—no, 20K!"
The individual cut straight to the chase and a map popped up besides the face to reveal her location. There was the sound of pulses, the vrooms, and Rose saw sparks of blue fly overhead as Mare jumped to the side, the view changing to her head resting on a wooden wall.
The girl released a breath, "—you're the only person that answered this late at night, come on, come on, deal?"
Rose smiled at the word 'Only Person.' Her Core hummed and her thoughts spun to the thought of how she could use this information.
"That looks dangerous. You have a group chasing after you, don't you?"
"They want to get into Alos, and they don't want to pay for the information, and now they're trying to rob me," Mare gritted her teeth, peered besides the wooden wall, then looked back, "I hate those types of people the most."
"How to enter Alos. . ." Rose muttered, "That sounds interesting."
The info-broker gritted her teeth even more.
"I'll add it to the price of saving me, how does that sound?"
'She's desperate,' Rose thought. It didn't sound like a simple case of just information.
She was about to answer back when the words 'Found her!' crossed over the feed. The girl tried to run but a fist found her face too, 'Let go of me!', —then, the sound of punching, and two humans were down on the floor, wrestling as the video shook.
Rose stood up and made for her dune-buggy as quickly as she could. The girl wasn't close, but the streets were deserted, so the motor made way with speed.

Rose, a broken doll tossed out into the world with the carelessness befitting her status below humans. However, acquiring a power beyond what she should be able, she fights and Rose Against The Heavens.

The story of a homunculus fighting against fate with a piercing wrath. Raging, an adversary to a cruel world. And taking place in a techno-fantasy.

Kai was standing in front of his class preparing to start his lecture.
 
"Since we have gotten our introductions down the lesson will start. I am aware that your previous professor has not taught you about vampires, so I will teach you about the vampire kind. Remember this will only happen once as it is not part of your curriculum, so open your parchment and get your quills ready.

Before I begin can anyone tell me what you know about vampires?" He asked the class. He saw that they were all looking at him with rapt attention as he talked. 

A few hands went up, all of them from Gryffindor. "Mr Finnigan you may start."

"Well, I understand that they have sharp fangs that let them turn other people that get bitten by them into vampires like them and they are poisoned by garlic. They ehm… also, drink blood, sir." Seamus Finnigan said hesitantly. 

"Yes Mr Finnigan, what you have said is partially true. It is true that vampires can turn others into other vampires but only when they inject them with their venom. You see?" 

Kai opened his mouth and extended his fangs, brought out a small reinforced glass bleaker and dripped his venom into it. The venom coloured a light almost pink red. He went around the class and showed it to every student. The students looked at Kai's fangs in morbid fascination and fear.

"For the venom to turn one into a vampire-" Kai started after seeing the many disgusted and scared faces. 

"It must be administered into the bloodstream for the transformation to take effect. And the fact that vampires must drink blood is quite true, there are in fact many vampires that do not wish to drink human blood and therefore drink animal blood. It is not so healthy and weakens them but they continue doing so.

Now regarding the rest of your answer. It is not true I am afraid, vampires are not poisoned by garlic. It may leave a terrible stench on our breaths but then again it is like that for most humans. Anyone else?"

This time Tracey Davis' hand was up as the sole Slytherin and Kai chose her. "Miss Davis please."

"They have superhuman speed and strength sir." 

"Quite so miss Davis."

Kai's voice came from behind the students and they all turned around. He was standing there before vanishing and reappearing in front of the class. They gaped in awe at this sight. 

"Would anyone else like to add anything else?"

Mostly everyone had let their hands down. The only two remaining were Harry's and Hermione. 

"Mr Potter"

"Erm, I know that vampires have an incredibly powerful bloodlust when they haven't fed for a certain amount of time. They also have enhanced senses. Oh, their eyes also glow when they are hungry or angry."

"Very good Mr Potter. Does anybody have anything to add?"

"Miss Granger you may begin when you are ready"

"Vampires have an enhanced healing factor, strength and speed. They are hurt by silver and can be killed by being in the sunlight. They also can not do any magic and are highly dangerous."

It seemed that Hermione couldn't stop herself from joining in. Dumbledore had asked her not to speak when in Kai's classes but she couldn't control herself when talking about such an interesting subject.

"10 years ago there was a war between vampires and wizards. These vampires had managed to control dragons and were led by the Blood Lord himself. But the Ministry of magic managed to stop them with the help of the Romanian ministry and an unnamed organization's help."

When Hermione mentioned the war Kai's relaxed attitude disappeared. Instead, the students felt a cold stifling pressure on their chest, the room itself had darkened significantly and Kai's face was stony and emotionless. 

"-They say that Dumble-" 

"Enough Miss Granger" The vampire lord's voice rang throughout the class. "Please do not give me quotes from false sources-"

"-But sir it isn't false it was written in the Chronicles of the Blood War by Roger Price, an expert who fought on the battlefield and killed many vampires." The ignorant girl interrupted him.

"Detention Miss Granger! For talking back. Come to my office on Friday evening at 7 PM." Kai said angrily. 

Hermione was quiet as were the rest of the class. 

"None of what was written the books are true, take my word for it. I was there, fighting with the few vampires that weren't on the other side, there is a much deeper side to the war.

Anyway, let's continue the lesson. As Miss Granger pointed out earlier there are numerous weaknesses that vampires have. They include sunlight, wooden stakes to the heart and silver. 

There is a chemical in the metal that manages to pierce through the natural defences regarding a vampire. Are you writing?"

The class was still frozen due to the oppressive aura coming out of Kai. He noticed it immediately and retracted it.

The students sighed in relief while Kai repeated what he said. He noticed that Hermione was still in shock from receiving a detention. She had never received a detention in her life. 

"I am aware that there is a common belief that a cross and holy water will hurt a vampire or keep them away. It is false, vampires are not affected by religion and there are many that still believe in their own respective religions…"

The atmosphere was still down in the class and everybody was feeling the aftereffects of Kai's weak aura. 

Kai's lesson continued without interruptions until the bell rang. 

"Mr Potter please wait!" Kai called out. 

Ron and Hermione who were rushing out stopped. "Are you going to be alright Harry?" Ron asked.

"Yeah, it's fine." He replied. 

After the classroom was empty Harry walked up to Kai's desk. "So Mr Potter can you receive your private lessons tonight at 6 PM?" 

"Yes, sir." Harry seemed to be struggling with something. "anything else Mr Potter?" 

In the end, Harry didn't say anything and left the classroom.

Kai is a tourist on holiday when he is killed in a terrorist attack. He wakes up during the year 1981 in a forest and finds out that he is a vampire progenitor in the Harry Potter world. Kai then heads out to the nearest human settlement which happens to be Godric Hollow. 
-This is my first time writing a novel so I will have mistakes, I'd appreciate it if you could point them out.

The second class of the day started in a similar manner to the first. With a question.

"Does anyone have any ideas as to how enchanting works?" The class was dead silent as before. This time there were many students that had been through the last class, and had an understanding of professor Keller's teaching style. Still, no one spoke up. 

'This is an unfair question. Aren't we here to learn just that? If we knew coming in, why take the class? Or rather why force us to take this class?' Alex had long since stopped considering any of the courses as optional. 

"How about I rephrase that question. Can someone guess, even a portion, of why enchanting does anything at all?" Keller asked with a coy smile. "I mean after all isn't enchanting really just writing or carving symbols on something? I can do that now?" As he said this, he walked in front of the podium and used his finger tip to carve words into the hard marble floor. 

After a second he stood back up. 

Clear to the whole class were two runes, carved into the floor. Keller presented them to the class with an out stretched hand. "Why is nothing happening?" 

Red raised his hand. With a nod from professor Keller, he stood. "Is it because there is no triggering rune?" 

"That is a strange thought isn't it?" Keller responded. It was clear to see that enchanting was his real passion. "So, you think if I add another mark into this stone floor something 'magical' will happen?" As he said magical, he wiggled his fingers in the air. "With the exception of enchantments, have you ever seen something like this happen? Something, 'magical'?" He made the gesture again.

This time it was a girl in the front rows turn to raise her hand. All Alex could see from his vantage point was curly auburn hair and a blue, slightly glowing, bird on her desk. "You mean like the abilities of Spirit Contractors?" She said with a quaver. 

"Yes, exactly? And what powers their abilities?" 

"Spirit Animals." Tom said as he stood quickly. A cock-sure grin on his face. 

In response, he received a look from Keller that Alex later likened to, "the face someone would make if you took their dinner plate and handed them back a plate of horse apples." 

"No, actually is has nothing to do at all with spirit animals. Otherwise how could normal people learn to enchant?" Keller replied in a considerate manner. Obvious care had been take to remove any sign of reproach or condescension from his voice. 

"It is mana?" He tone conveying that it was a statement as much as a question.

"Exactly! Whether written in special ink or carved, runes have a unique ability to react with mana when properly put together." Keller once again had a large smile on his face. 

"Does anyone know what language runes come from?"

This time it was Alex who stood. He had read up a little on enchanting. His mother was an enchanter after all. Sadly, not many books pertaining to enchanting were allowed to the public at large. This was due to the possibly dangerous nature of enchanting, when done wrong. 

"No one knows. Some think it might not actually be a language in the traditional sense. In that it was never used to communicate ideas through written or spoken medium." Alex's tone made it clear to everyone that he was reciting from memory. 

It was in fact from a book he had read recently. It was on rune theory. The book was decades old, and no where near the cutting edge of the field. It also contained no runes at all. That was the only reason that it was allowed out to the public.

"Very good Alexander. You are correct. While no one knows for sure, the structure and grammar of this runic language isn't structured to allow communication from one person to another." As he said this Keller panned the class, making sure he had everyone's undivided attention. 

"In fact you could say that the language was made to 'instruct' mana." As he said this Keller was greeted by surprised faces. 

"Then are you saying mana is alive and can be instructed?" Alex had never sat back down. This idea was thrumming through his mind. 

"No." Keller immediately said, in a cold tone. His expression slowly lightened. "It is true that this was a theory for a time, but this doesn't seem to be the case. It is more like a game. One where we make up the rules as we go. Mana reacts to the shape of the runes. Each rune is like adding a new rule, or instruction, to the mana. In the end you get a result." 

Keller gave the class a moment to digest then continued. "If your rules make sense you get a result. Though it may not be the intended one." He said with a smile and motioned once again to the runes carved in the floor. "But if your rules have a critical failure in them, then the mana can not 'make sense' of the rules, and nothing will happen." He said 'make sense' with air quotes. 

Keller then walked over to the runes and between them placed another couple runes. "You see, I placed a triggering rune, followed by a target rune before. But I did not give any instructions as to what to 'do' once a person moved into the target. Now, I added an effect rune and a closing rune." He then walked back to where he had been standing previously and snapped his fingers. 

A huge wave of wind and sound hit all of the students. They felt the sound of that snap deep in their chests. It was like standing near an explosion. That was all that Alex could compare it to. 

Keller stepped away from the spot and went back to the runes. He drew a deep line through them all with his finger. Then returned to his spot once again, and snapped his fingers. 

Nothing happened. The whole class was bracing waiting for that pressure to hit them again, but it never came. Just the dull hollow sound of a snap echoed in the room. 

"If there is any fault, or change made that doesn't 'make sense', it will nullify the effect of the runes." Keller once again used air quotes here. 

After spending a bit more time talking about some very basic grammatical structures for runes. He then passed out a list of runes to the students. This was for them to study from daily in their free time. Classes would consist of problems given by Keller and the students working together to solve them. This would range from acquiring a desired result in as few runes as possible, to being shown a faulty rune formation and being asked how to fix it. 

After Keller outlined the structure of the class for the future, Alex was not alone in feeling that this course was going to be very difficult.

The story of Alexander Samson, and his spirit companion Eluril. In a world filled with dangerous monsters and terrifying dungeons. Alex will struggle to claw his way up from the bottom rungs of society. 

Can Alex overcome the powers that be as the only Cultivator in this world? 

Can he find the correct path through the many options that cultivation lays before him?

"And how are you doing, Chris?" 
A voice brought back Chris to life. She was lying on a bed of hospital wing and was sulking staring at the ceiling. Bill had come to visit all of them and only now for the first time Chris heard him.
"Sorry, what?" Chris looked at Bill.
"I asked how are you doing?" Bill repeated looking very worried.
"I am — I'm good," smiled Chris with great effort. "I didn't get many injuries."
"Yeah, sure," said Ginny sarcastically from the next bed. 
Chris glared at Ginny and Bill laughed.
"I guess you all are okay then," he said. "And I think, now, the school will be okay too, with again Dumbledore as Headmaster and Umbridge gone. I —"
"Wait, Umbridge is gone?" Chris interrupted.
"Yes, fortunately, the new Minister of Magic had called her back," said Bill happily then checked his watch. "She was to leave after dinner. I think she left by now."
"That's the best news I got this year," said Colin grinning from another bed.
"I agree," said Ron.
As Bill continued to talk with them Chris realized something, if the new Minister had called her back that means she will be continued to work at the Ministry and work as a spy for Malgino.
"Where are you going?" Ginny asked as Chris started to got out of her bed.
"Bathroom," Chris replied and hurried towards the girls' bathroom in Hospital wing.
After locking the door Chris opened her mouth and was about to call 'Dames' but then she closed her mouth with a sigh. The physical pain in her chest increased as the emotional pain tightened her chest. Dames was gone. Chris took a deep breath, steadied herself then called, "Fitz, Jose, Ryan."
Within seconds three Dementors appeared in front of her.
"My Queen, you summoned?" They bowed.
"Yeah," Chris hesitated but then pushed away the hesitation, this is for the greater good, no time for guilt. "Dolores Jane Umbridge will maybe report to the Ministry today, after that take her to any forest full of dangerous magical beasts and Centaur, Mermaid and other part-humans— I know for a fact there is a forest like this in somewhere in Southern part of Asia — go there. Then leave her there to die and bring back her wand to me."
"As you wish, my Queen," said Jose.
"My Queen," said Ryan. "I am not trying to offend you but won't it be easy to just perform the kiss on her? I mean if you so despise her then it will be a great way of revenge."
"Don't question the Queen's order," grumbled Fitz.
"No it's fine," said Chris. "I know, it's an easy way but I would like to suffer her more than that. She should know how it feels like when you don't have any control over your own life and also the creatures she thought is way below her will cause her pain."
"Alright, my Queen," said Ryan.
"Also remember, the journey to that forest shouldn't be easy for her," said Chris darkly. "Make it as difficult as possible. Take everyone with you and don't let her seen."
"We will, my Queen," said Fitz. "Anything else?"
"No," Chris sighed. "Leave."

They were still in the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey refused to let Chris go before her chest pain was cured completely. Harry was sitting on the end of Ron's bed, who's leg was still a little battered. Ginny, who was good as new, was curled up at the foot of Chris' bed. Colin had also got some heavy injuries, so he was also staying in the hospital wing, Neville whose nose had likewise been returned to its normal size and shape was sitting on the edge of Colin's bed. The worst injury was Hermione's, who still winced very often. The curse Dolohov had used on her, though less effective than it would have been had he been able to say the incantation aloud, had nevertheless caused, in Madam Pomfrey's words, "quite enough damage to be going on with." Hermione was having to take ten different types of potion every day and she was improving greatly. Surprisingly, Luna after getting out of hospital wing visited Hermione regularly, even though Hermione didn't show it, Luna's behaviour had started to affect her greatly and she had completely stopped contradicting her. Even today, Luna was reading her latest edition of The Quibbler sitting on Hermione's bed.
"Aha!" said Hermione triumphantly then winced slightly and put a hand to her ribs. "Look, here it is, again they had dragged Harry in this, 'the-boy-lived . . . A lone voice of truth . . . perceived as unbalanced, yet never wavered in his story . . .' Oh! they had also mentioned quotes from Chris' articles in The Quibbler."
"Daddy sold it to them," said Luna vaguely, turning a page of The Quibbler. "He got a very good price for it too, so we're going to go on an expedition to Sweden this summer and see if we can catch a Crumple-Horned Snorkack."
Hermione seemed to struggle with herself for a moment, then said, "That sounds lovely."
Ginny, Colin and Ron chuckled.
"In any case, I like the article written by Chris," said Luna looking up from the magazine.
"Thanks," smiled Chris.
Chris had written two articles for The Quibbler (of course, Madam Pomfrey wasn't happy), one about the night in Graveyard and other about the night in Department of Mystery, carefully omitting about the keys. The idea was Hermione's and when Harry insisted too, Chris gave up. Within weeks, Quibbler was reprinting and they were famous. Even Rita Skeeter wrote good things about Harry, Chris and Dumbledore.
"You know, I was wondering," said Ginny absently turning the pages of Chris' Daily Prophet (Chris hasn't opened even 9ne prophet newspaper after Friday. All were piled on the table beside her bed. Ginny had pulled one from the top.) "Why Malgino didn't use even one spell to do anything!"
"Really? Not even one?" said Hermione surprised, closing her newspaper.
"No," said Luna, closing her Quibbler as well.
"He didn't even help Voldemort to defeat Dumbledore," said Harry.
"That woman — what's her name?" asked Neville.
"Stormy," said Chris.
"Yeah, that Stormy was the one doing all the magic to her, wasn't she?" said Neville then shivered. "She was very powerful though."
"Well, I thought Malgino used a spell when he was doing that creepy thing to Chris," said Colin.
"You mean that manipulating thing?" said Luna.
"It wasn't any kind of spell," said Chris. "It was something else, like an ability. I felt it."
There was a tense silence broken by Hermione.
"So anyway," she said, sitting up a little straighter and wincing again, "what's going on in school?"
"Well, Flitwick's got rid of Fred and George's swamp," said Ginny. "He did it in about three seconds. But he left a tiny patch under the window and he's roped it off —"
"Why?" said Hermione, looking startled.
"Oh, he just says it was a really good bit of magic," said Ginny, grinning.
"I think he left it as a monument to Fred and George," said Ron through a mouthful of chocolate. "They sent me all these, you know," he told others, pointing at the small mountain of Frogs beside him. "Must be doing all right out of that joke shop, eh?"
Hermione tried not to smile but at last gave up, "Yeah, I got them too," she said pointing at another pile of chocolates on her bedside table.
"Yes, Chris got loads too but didn't eat, so I had to eat them," said Colin in a way which made Luna laugh. Colin then turned to Neville, "So has all the trouble stopped now Dumbledore's back?"
"Yes," said Neville, "everything's settled right back down again."
"I s'pose Filch is happy, is he?" asked Ron, propping a Chocolate Frog card featuring Dumbledore against his water jug.
"Not at all," said Ginny. "He's really, really miserable. He keeps saying Umbridge was the best thing that ever happened to Hogwarts . . ."
"Speaking of Umbridge," said Chris casually. "Any news about her whereabouts?"
"No idea," said Ron shrugging. "I asked Dad when he came last time. He said there was no news about her and he also said," Ron chuckled, "He said, the new Minister isn't very interested to find her, especially when there are things like You-Know-Who and Malgino to worry about."
"Good," muttered Chris.
"Huh?" Ginny looked at Chris curiously.
"I mean I hope the new Minister is good," said Chris quickly.
"Yeah, I hope so too," said Hermione nodding.

Dear Z and A,
I know you two have a lot on your plate. But I hope you find time to study this. I offered L to send him some of my sermon notes so that he can peruse it as it seems that giving him this information would be extremely beneficial for the future. But he rejected it.
He said that he would rather listen to me speak about it personally. Apparently, he wants to believe in it and given his intellectual bias, he may turn deaf ears to the lessons in my notes. He wanted to not only know of what I know but have a chance in believing and he hopes that listening to me would do far more benefit than just reading some letters. I understand his intentions. The best way to learn about something is to believe in it. So he suggested having a personal meeting. I'm wanted to conduct a Bible study but with the way things are now, I guess it will have to wait.
Z, I hope our previous discussions from so long ago, (it feels like it's been another lifetime, right?) have somehow created a foundation of belief. Perhaps what had happened to you is one of the miracles that the Almighty allowed. I firmly believe this. So I am hoping this letter would allow you to better understand what actions to take and that you could pass this information along to anyone who you think could help in this. You have been taking the right steps and I guess it would be attributed to our talks from long ago.
Anyway, here is the draft of a conference message I've prepared to give on one of our upcoming Bible Conferences. Perhaps this may give you some insight on what to do with your life and how you can be of benefit to the lives of others.
Also, that kid from Psalms 1 might also benefit from reading this. I have a feeling that he wouldn't want to attend a Bible study hosted by me because of our 'conflicting' methods.

A Study on Typology (I will be discussing more of this during the Bible Study and explain the key aspects in detail. Treat this study as a primer for the things to be discussed soon.)
Prophecy has always been something that people found intriguing and mystifying.
The Bible contains the most prophecies that have been accurately fulfilled in human history.
For example, the prophecy on Tyre in Ezekiel 26…
In that Prophecy, several prophetic elements that seem extremely unlikely to be fulfilled if we apply the science of probability. For the sake of time, I will only go over several key aspects of the Prophecies and will not deal with any other prophecies made against Tyre on other verses in the Bible.
I have selected five of the 'most intriguing' prophecies that were fulfilled right down to the dot and remind you, that the chapter consists of more elements that have been fulfilled.
As a background, Tyre as a city is composed of two parts. One city in the mainland, called 'Ushu' or Old Tyre, and another city built on a small island about half a mile away from the shore of Old Tyre. This city on the small island is commonly known as Tyre.
In Ezekiel 26, Tyre was supposed to be:
1.       Attacked by Nebuchadnezzar (v. 7)
2.       Attacked by "many nations" (v.3)
3.       The stone and timbers of this city would be thrown in the sea (v.12)
4.       Will be scrapped like a bare rock (v.4)
5.       The Ocean depths will rise over it (v.19)
A popular opinion regarding prophecies is that any prophecy may eventually be fulfilled as time pass by as the things that have been written may be fulfilled by chance. If Chapter 26 of Ezekiel talks about any city, with any conqueror, that is indeed true but this chapter exclusively talks about the city of Tyre.
This prophecy is not talking of any city. No, it's not the city of New Birth Forth or the City of World's Helm. It's taking about the city of Tyre.
And this city is to be attacked by Nebuchadnezzar. Not by Hitler, not by the Fire Nation, not by Team Rocket, but by Nebuchadnezzar. A specific person living in a specific time. And this city would also be attacked by many nations, its stone and timbers would be thrown in the sea and the city will be scrapped like a bare rock and that the Ocean will somehow rise over the city itself. It's interesting how specific it is.
Now, historically, the first aspect was easily fulfilled.
About a decade after the prophecy was believed to be written, Nebuchadnezzar attacked the city and we have evidence to support this historic fact. But Nebuchadnezzar was only able to conquer Old Tyre as the other city on the small island was naturally protected by the sea and Tyre had an impressive fleet of ships.
So none of the other prophecies were fulfilled. Numbers two to five on our prophecy list were not fulfilled during this attack.
Should we now mock the Bible for its inaccuracy?
Be aware, that the remaining clauses of this prophecy are almost impossible to fulfill.
Why would the city be attacked and someone would be so bored as to take the stones and timbers from the wrecked city and throw it on the ocean? Why would they do that to the point of scrapping the ruins of the city to a point that what remains will look like a bare rock? And how will the ocean rise over it?
The fulfillment of the other aspects of the prophecy occurred nearly 200 years later.
The Prophecy was written sometime on 587-586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar attacked it on 573BC, but the fulfillment of prophecy points numbers 2-5 would be on 332BC when a man who conquered nations led an army consisting of armies coming from different nations and attacked the very city of Tyre.
We know this man to be "Alexander the Great."
We know Alexander the Great would force another nation to submit and aid him in his conquest so many nations could easily be fulfilled at this point.
He led his armies and attacked Tyre, conquering Old Tyre once more. But this wasn't enough.
Tyre was arrogant and mocked Alexander for failing once more as the settlers have retreated to their city-island protected by their vast fleet of ships. Seeing as how Tyre remained safe like a turtle and having the sea as a natural barrier with a fleet of ships that even Alexander the Great could not easily destroy, Alexander and his armies came up with an ingenious plan.
A great task of building a man-made bridge from the coast of Old Tyre to New Tyre started. Alexander ordered his men to take the ruins of Old Tyre, throw it to the sea to build a bridge to which they can use to attack the city of Tyre.
In this, Prophecy points numbers 2-4 have been fulfilled. The prophecies which seem almost impossible actually happened.
Many nations came, attacked Tyre, took the ruins of the city and threw it to the ocean to make a small bridge, scrapping Old Tyre like a rock.
But what about number 5?
Well, because of the man-made bridge which supported and allowed Alexander to send his armies to attack Tyre, the topography of the island changed making the bridge leading to Tyre into a peninsula which exists to this day. Because of this change which led to a massive geographic change on the area, the location of the Old Tyre was eventually buried by sand and water ultimately, burying the location of Old Tyre underwater forever.
God sent Nebuchadnezzar and later fulfilled it some 200 years later in the person of Alexander the Great. But the last bit of prophecy would be fulfilled about a thousand years later as the coastline of Tyre changed because of the man-made bridge of Alexander.
Now you calculate the odds of this prophecy being fulfilled? What other nation, since 587 BC, was named Tyre, attacked by a Nebuchadnezzar and later by many nations, and apparently, the entire city structure is thrown to the sea, scraped like bare rock, and later sinks to the ocean? What are the odds of that happening? And remember, I haven't listed ALL the prophecies that Tyre is supposed to fulfill!
Now this may come as an intriguing historical study, but the reason I'm discussing Tyre is to formally challenge whether or not this Prophecy would have only ONE fulfillment or will it be fulfilled again? What if, the verses in the Bible may be foreshadowing something that will happen in the future.
Now, let me clarify, I honestly believe that in Ezekiel 26, most of the prophecies written there have already been fulfilled. What I'm saying, is that we open our exegesis to the possibility that it could be fulfilled again!
How would something that had literally happened be fulfilled again? To argue, I would like to point you to the study of Eschatology, or the interpretation of the End of Times. We call it the Apocalypse, the Last Days and so on. Many camps and theological schools all have different opinions and interpretations as to their fulfillment. And throughout the course of history, there have been several interpretations which the people of that time were sure of because it made sense.
During the time of Apostolic era, if you read the Book of Revelation, you would say, the anti-Christ is Rome.
Hundreds of years later, Martin Luther made the same conclusion during the Reformation period. Their study of the Word led to this conclusion.
Back in World War 2, everyone believed that the Anti-Christ was Hitler. The Jews who suffered so much would certainly think so as well.
During World War 3, everyone then blamed Graden Pouterfisx to be the Anti-Christ as it led to the further destruction of Israel.
Right now, because of the Australian Avarice, many even say that Australia is the Anti-Christ.
And for the Australian natives of today, they would say, Harker or that gamer-turned-terrorist Lowengren is the Anti-Christ. (Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised.)
Others believe, that it's the World Governing Powers, and still some point to that miraculous E-Sport Gamer, Seeker Carlean to be the Anti-Christ as he must have sold his soul to the devil to be that good in Piercing! (Z, as you noticed, I like to add current events like this as a sermon illustrations to draw attention to the younger audience. It really makes most gamers listen to my sermon if I mention famous e-sport players.)
And quite honestly, except those saying its Seeker, the rest had a valid reason to claim that this was the Anti-Christ as they displayed a shocking level of depravity, wickedness, and immorality.
Are we to assume that they were all wrong? Perhaps… Or maybe perhaps from Hitler, all the way to the Australian Avarice, they have been "Types" or signs that will simply point us to a Final Anti-Christ. Perhaps, God, in order to constantly remind us that His Word is True and indeed miraculous, has destined history, as written in the Bible to have several fulfillments, many of which are partial fulfillments or foreshadowing to a final fulfillment?
And it is in this vein, that we find ourselves in the study of Typology.
Typology is the study of signs, symbols and the interpretation of Types.
Let me take a positive example to further cement my case…
You've heard me say several times that I say Samuel in the book of 1 Samuel of a "typology" or a sign that points to Jesus. In many ways, an appropriate approach would be to read 1 Samuel with the assumption that Samuel foreshadows Jesus.
If we go to the prophecy in 1 Samuel 2, God got angry at the current High Priest, Eli, and prophesied to Eli that Eli's lineage would-be priest who wouldn't reach old age and that their line would stop serving in the altar. After that, God gave this prophecy in 1 Samuel 2:35,
"I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always."
Now the immediate assumption as to the fulfillment of this prophecy, if we follow that story, is that we would assume it to be fulfilled through the priest to Samuel. Samuel took over when Eli died, he ministered faithfully and replaced the line of Priest that served in Israel.
According to the Bible, we do not have any records of Samuel ever committing sin, and even on his death, he challenged Israel of this, to which Israel responded that they have noted no sin in Samuel's lifetime. If you think David had a magnificent title, "a man after God's own heart," consider Samuel's title. A man who will do according to God's own heart and mind.
But on the other hand, many would challenge that this verse does not refer to Samuel but to Jesus because of the clause that this priest will "minister before God's anointed ones, always." Which basically implies this priestly line will forever serve God. And only Jesus could fulfill this role.
My interpretation and I hope this congregation's interpretation and conviction, would be that this verse was fulfilled in two ways.
Samuel was the initial fulfillment and is a typology to the final fulfillment, which is Jesus.
The Bible has been doing this several times and using a certain Old Testament verse and make it a sign that eventually points to Jesus. In other words, these verses have more than one fulfillment.
A partial fulfillment of the sign in the form of Samuel, a righteous Priest who was impeccable in actions and wisdom, and later the Great High Priest that we have in Jesus.
1 Samuel also introduces David, a typology of Jesus in the areas of being a King.
But of course, this alone could not be supporting evidence for my theory in the study of Typologies. So let's take a look at another interesting and puzzling verse which shows a unique example of a typology.
We go to Hosea 11:1 and find an interesting phrase here that was used by the Gospel writer Matthew.
"Out of Egypt, I called my Son."
This is a strange verse to use because mainly, according to the context of Hosea 11:1, the son here refers to the nation Israel. Why did Matthew later use this verse to mean Jesus? We all stand with the idea that the Holy Scripture is inerrant. So why would Matthew, in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, use this verse in its wrong context?
My answer is Typology.
Let us first analyze what's going on in Matthew.
Joseph and Mary had escaped from Bethlehem because of Herod. They lived in Egypt and waited for Herod to die. Upon Herod's death, Joseph returns to Israel and so, Matthew summarizes it in verse 15 of chapter 2, And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."
Matthew quotes Hosea 11:1 and immediately assumes that this is speaking of Jesus when in actuality, the context rules that we so hardly adhere to, dictates that Hosea 11 is talking about the nation Israel!
Typology easily resolves this issue. If we are to assume that Israel has always been a typology of Jesus, a temporary sign and can have more than one fulfillment in the great passage of time, we can then easily accept this verse.
By accepting that Israel in Hosea 11, represents Jesus, we can actually see that in many ways Israel did foreshadow Jesus.
Jesus, like Israel, stays in Egypt and leaves to return to the Promised Land. Jesus, Like Israel, is sent to the wilderness to spend a passage of time connected with the number of 40. Israel spent 40 years wandering in the desert, Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
The Gospel records that Jesus was sent to the wilderness to be tempted and tried, wasn't this the case for Israel?
And isn't it interesting, that in the famous encounter between Jesus and the Devil in that same wilderness where Israel was tested, Jesus answered the Devil quoting verses from the book of Deuteronomy?
Deuteronomy discusses most of the consequences that Israel suffered because they failed. In this Typology, Jesus acts as the perfect version of Israel. He goes out of Egypt, is tempted by the devil in the wilderness exposing Him to hunger, thirst, and the danger of being killed by wild animals.
In Israel's hunger, they complained to God, and the reluctant response of God was to send Manna from heaven, Satan uses this same strategy and tells Jesus to make stone bread, but Jesus quotes from Deuteronomy saying that man shall not live by bread alone.
Jesus fasted in that 40 days in the desert. The Israelites feasted with unlimited manna and even by sending birds which the Israelites can easily capture and eat. I can go on and on, but if you analyze the remaining challenges that Satan poised to Jesus, we find that the Israelites actually failed on all of these temptations. In fact, I would go as far to say that the temptations Jesus faced and the temptations Israel faced were roughly the same!
But it doesn't stop here, if you've read through the Bible, you will know that the moment Israel finally enters the Promised Land, you'll be reading through the Book of Joshua. And in Hebrew, the name for Joshua is Yeshua, the very same name to which we translate the Name, Jesus!
So Joshua becomes a typology, a foreshadowing that the book of Joshua will also repeat in history. We've already seen hints of that! That scene in Joshua 10 where kings in their retreat hid in caves to flee from Israel. Is this not the same vivid imagery explained in the book of Revelation which will be the scene when Jesus returns?
At this point, I argue, that perhaps in the dogmatic ways of our interpretation of Scripture, we have long set aside the possibility that if the Bible is promised to be the Word of God, Inerrant, relevant and true, then would it not be true for all ages? Is it possible to see this foreshadowing's again and again?
I will not be surprised, ladies and gentlemen, that in the near future, the very events we read in the book of Revelation will become a typology! A sign that we may soon see, in anticipation of the Second Coming!
We have long interpreted the book of Revelation and its various events to have passed! How many writers and Bible teachers have risen up to explain how World War Three fulfilled many of the verses in Revelation.
I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm saying they could be right. But in this sense, that what they explained are but typologies and these signs that may repeat itself unto final fulfillment.
So read the Book of Revelation! Read the book of Joshua! Read the Book of Daniel! Of Zacharias, of the many verses and the many books in the Bible which speaks or alludes to the coming end!
We could all come witness to various typologies of events that will have its ultimate fulfillment when Christ return. As for me, I may sound insane, but with the recent events that have been happening, I am certain now, we will bear witness to many foreshadowing's itself! Make no mistake!
Perhaps, in the coming days, chaos will be revealed. And perhaps, in the coming days, someone will rise up perhaps as another foreshadowing of Jesus who will appear in Power and Might! Perhaps, in the days to come, you will all see the Way!
Let's close in prayer…
(A and Z, I do hope this gives us a roadmap of future actions you have to take. Revisit the stories in the Old Testament. I have a feeling that one of our friends may be anticipating the revisiting and fulfillment of the prophecies in Egypt. It might take some time until the Bible study after all. So the specific plans that I have in mind to make the world believe in God  cannot be explained. For now, read and follow the Word. Oh, and if C and G are free, have them visit me here in the Americas.)


An alien race invaded the Earth on June 6, 2128. At the midst of this war, many nations allied with the alien threat and the war nearly wiped out the rebelling humans of the planet. At the edge of mankind's survival, the United Nations Army launched its forces to eliminate the immediate stellar threats that loomed over Earth.

General Seeker Carlean, commander and leader of the mission, risked and gave his life to destroy the immediate stellar threat. The battle was won though Earth lay in ruins. Perhaps mankind will live to see a few years of peace before the alien threat returns to wipe out their existence.

At the immediate aftermath of the stellar battle, the fallen Seeker Carlean awakens and finds himself at aged 17, living the peaceful life he lived 16 years before he died.

So begins a new game in the battle for humanity's survival.
