"*yaaaaawn. Morning," I said as I walked into the small living room of the two bedroom apartment. My sisters were watching T.V. Probably some kind of craft stuff on YouTube. I went to the power outlet and grabbed my LG Stylo 2 Plus off the deformed charger.
    "Why are you getting on your phone this early?" said my 10 year old sister, Ramona.
    "Well, why are you on the playstation three even earlier?" I replied smart *ss-y.
    "Hmph."
    "Temmy still asleep?" Temmy was our 7 year old half-sister.
    "No durr, poopy-head," Ramona joked. She liked joking like that. She always calls me names, and in return I jokingly punch her arm or pinch her trap muscle.
    "Wow, how rude."
    I turn on my phone and scroll to the far left. and tapped on the file marked "Adn's Games" and tapped on Lineage 2: Revolution. I did a couple quests and leveled up. A few quests later I got that weird-yet-satisfying noise signifying a notification. I scrolled from the top of the screen and found out it was a notification from Wattpad. I kind of thought it was going to be from Walking Dead No Man's Land.
    It was about a message from aaliswalker. I finished the quest and tapped on the notification leading me to Wattpad, straight to my inbox. 
    "Hey adn." 
    "Good morning, walker-san."
    "U never gave me feedback on my book."
    "Hmm... I guess, the wording is wrong in a few places, spelling and capitalization are, eh, but the story is good."
    "Hmm... Ok. thx. im busy so i cant edit it now, but i probably will eventually."
    "Hey, um... could u credit me or recommend me to some people or something?"
    "sure. actually i already did in the upcoming chapter of reborn. but its time for me to go to bed almost over here."
    "but its only... " before I finished the message I looked at the clock. It was already 2! I deleted the messages and decided to write "kk, goodnight senpai."
    "Goodnight. you are kawaii to the extreme!"
    "(~_~) I give up."
    "on what?"
    "you calling me cute"
    "why?"
    "I cant stop u from calling me that. and... i kinda *mumbles like it"

    "Aiden! Come here!" my mom yelled. I went to my room where she was. The closet. "What made you think that it was okay to put your clothes behind the drawer?" I didn't answer. "No reason? You are grounded. No electronics the rest of tonight or tomorrow."
    "Sorry, Mom, but this time I'm gonna have to rebel," I thought. "Aaliswalker is the only person I can talk to."
    When she left the room, I grabbed my phone and "Marked" and started acting like I was reading. Mom didn't want me reading in my room so she had me read in my closet. Perfect.
    "Hey Adn," was what aaliswalker chatted first.
    "Hello senpai. I'm grounded so don't be surprised if I leave w/o telling u. I'm doing this in secret."
    "Ok. I would give you my fone number but..."
    "Yea, I get it. It might be ok in like a few years but not until we know more about each other. it'd be like a kind of exercise."
    "An exercise hmm? My name is Alyce and I'm 16 and I live in the U.K."
    "Hmm. I get it. My name is Aiden, I'm twelve, and I live in Arizona."
    "Well, goodnight kawaii potato!"
    "Goodnight senpai. The f*ck is a kawaii potato?"
    "You!"
    I turned off the phone and grabbed "Marked." 
    "It was time I took matters into my own hands (after all, they were well manicured)." This book was fuuuuuunny. After a few more pages, I looked at the page number, 27, and closed my eyes.
    "*sigh. You're my favorite person, senpai," I thought aloud.

                                                          . . .

    I woke up at 2:00 in the afternoon. Since there was nothing I needed to do and it was Saturday, I just got on my phone. I missed a few messages from aalisw- I mean, Alyce. I was only half awake so I didn't really understand it, but I was pretty sure that she was trying to tell me something about a trust exercise.
    "Hey, Aiden! I had an idea! We could do small things like we did last night every day. Kinda like a trust exercise, like u said!"
    Huh? What was she talking about? Oh. Last night, when we told each other stuff. Hmm. That's interestimg. Maybe we could. What would be today's exercise?
    "What is today's exercise, senpai?"
    "Peeves."
    "Hmm. That's a good idea. I don't like-
    As I was typing my mom came in the room. 
    "Gimme," she said. She wanted my phone. D*mmit! "I'm not stupid. I know you were on your phone."
    D*mmit. D*mmit, d*mmit, d*mmit. It's gonna be a while till I get my phone back.

"Belinda Xui, why are you back late?" I hear a very stern masculine voice says behind me.
"Al..Alpha, I am sorry. I got held back at the company because of the tour and I had to wait until Ms. Lu left in order to leave the office," I say as I bow my head. 
"Are you okay?" he asks but more in a warm tone.
"Yes Alpha, just a little tired but I would be ready to start training with you in a few minutes," I tell him.
"No need to, you must be extremely tired from all that walking throughout the company. I am not really unreasonable so you can rest for the rest of the evening. However, don't let it happen again in the future," he says warmly but also with authority.
I turn to look at who this Alpha is but instead I only see the master bedroom door closing. I let it go for now because I know I would have to see him on Saturday anyway to discuss and go through the reports. However, this is my first official job after finishing my degree and I don't really know what to do. I hope Mr. Fu would be in the office tomorrow so he can show me what are the things I am looking for.
After some time I get up from the sofa, taking my hand bag and my shoes in my hand and head to my bedroom. I then take a shower and change into some pajamas before combing my hair and then heading to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. 
To my surprise there is a dish cover on the kitchen counter. I walk over to the dish cover and raise it to see a delicious chicken salad with a fork. Next to the plate is a note, I unfold the note to see written, 
'Ms. Xui, for your hard work today, please eat. There is also a glass of juice already prepared for you in the refrigerator. Also in your private study, it have your laptop, phone, tablet and an notebook. Have a healthy meal, work hard and a peaceful sleep tonight - Alpha'
I take the plate of chicken salad and put it on the island before heading to the refrigerator to get the glass of juice. I then slowly eat my salad and drink my juice before washing the dirty dishes. I then head over to my personal study and look at the electronics that I have received. Each of the electonics have the same symbol which is an eaten apple. I look at them all as I just play with the symbol remembering back in university all the other students would talk about the most expensive and best brand of products it have.
I open the iMac laptop which unlocks with the scan of my finger print, the same with my iPhone, iPad and the iPod. I know the Alpha must be rich in order to create an entire city but I didn't think he would spend so much for the latest model and most expensive brand of electronics for me. I cautiously pack the items in a neat pile to take it together with their chargers to my room. I take slow steps to my room so that nothing would shift and fall from my hand.
In my room, I place them on the bedside table before climbing on my bed. Once I am my bed, I pick up the iPhone and look at it, the screen comes on and request my finger print. I scan my finger and it unlocks. I notice some icons on the top left side of the phone, I touch it but nothing happens, I swipe from the top downwards and I notice that each icon stands for something. I read what the icons are for, the first being for messages, I notice the number four is next to it. I press to see what is the message. I notice that the message box opens and there are two names one being Alpha with the number three next to it and the other being a wiPay message. I open the wiPay message first and it says that two thousand and five hundred pounds have been debited to my account from an account number. 
I then look at the messages from Alpha. The messages read as such,
'I have deposited twenty five hundred into your account in case you decide to buy meals from the cafeteria, or buy grocery for the apartment. It is also for you to buy some working and sleeping clothes according to your liking.'
'If you don't understand how to do the reports you can always contact me through any one of the devices because they all have my contact information saved.'
'You didn't have to be so cautious with the items. Anyway, don't get to loat away on your new devices and go to sleep early and get enough rest.'
I keep pressing back until I am out of the messages. I pull back from the top to the buttom, the message icon in gone, the next icon is for facebook, it turns out to be a notification to show that I have successfully created an account. The next icon is twitter, the same kind of notification. Then there is a system notification showing whatsapp, messenger, facebook, twitter, hangout, instagram, wiPay and snapchat has been successfully installed by playstore.
I entire playstore to see all what it have until I start to see some novels apps, I instantly start to install webnovel, wattpad, novel cat, aristory, comic cat, dreame and kungfu books. I love to read and I could always find myself reading myself to sleep at nights. When webnovel has finish installing I start to look for books I can read my first being 'The rebirth of the strongest empress,' the second 'The nanomacer reborns,' the third being 'The high school prince is a girl,' the fourth being 'I accidently married a fox god' and many other types of romance, mythical and game novels.I open 'The rebirth of the strongest empress' and start to read. The book is going so good that I just keep on reading chapter after chapter until a notification showing I get a whatsapp message. I open the message which comes from the Alpha,
'Why are you still waking? It is after twelve. If you don't go to sleep now I will personally put you to sleep, do you want that?'
I instantly reply, 'Sorry Alpha, I was lost in the phone for a bit. I will go to sleep now,' and press send. After the message is gone I close the phone and lay to sleep at once.

THE WAVES crashed along each other, creating a soft soothing sound; as though lullabies were being hummed. With a gentle push of the wind, golden sand gently moved and tickled her feet. She gazed upon the cotton clouds and ginger sun with a piercing gaze. Her thin arms swiftly moved up and she held her hand out to the direction of the water, as though she was calling out to it. Her eyes slowly closed and she retracted her arms, a soft sigh escaping and evading along the wind as it traveled across the sea.  

She moved forward, and into the sea. The aqua crawled up to her ankles, then to her knees, and finally, she let it swallow her whole. With closed eyes, she felt herself smile as the stabbing pain on her wrist was replaced by the burning sensation of the sea stealing her air. 

And when the sea finally thought they captured her whole, she opened her eyes and moved her arms, swimming up the surface.  A gasp for air escaped. She looked back at the land and bit her lower lip. With graceful and calm movements, she let herself lay upon the water.

The soft elegant clouds had now nearly vanished as stars began to appear and the moon faded away. She held out her right arm and looked at the birthmark on the side of her wrist. Two petite stars next to each as a thin string wrapped around it. She frowned slightly and brought it to close to her, giving it a soft kiss with her blushing lips. A warm sensation enveloped her and she knew. It was now time to make a decision.

To run, or to collide.

                             She looked down at the pocket size picture. Her rosy lips curling up to a sweet, alluring smile as her slender fingers trailed the outlines of the faces. She tried to remember the loving memories of that very day they took the picture. She was young then -- young and naive. Her ignorance had led to her letting something precious slip away from her grasp, and she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to retrieve it.

She tucked the photo back into the locket and closed its existence from the light. Putting the necklace back on, she stood up from her seat and headed for the door. Her footsteps were light, and her presence near invisible. As she entered the sidewalks -- out from Anne's Coffee -- her phone rang. Digging into the right pocket of her beige coloured pants, she took out her phone. An unknown number flashed through her screen. She pursed her lips as her thumb hovered over the accept button. Surprise took hold of her when wet droplets landed on her screen. She looked up and noticed the darkened clouds.

Rejecting the call, she closed the phone and tucked it back into her pocket. Looking back at the cafe, she made her way back in. The bell chimed, notifying the workers someone arrived. They observed her with confused eyes, wondering why she had return. She ignored their gazes and walked to the small table she sat at previously. It was her go-to table whenever she came to Anne's coffee.Placed at the corner, the table  wasn't really a popular location to sit at due to the spot being dark. However since she was always on her laptop, and never together with other people, it was perfect for her. 

 "Would you like to order again?" Clarissa, one of the workers, asked - rubbing her hands onto her uniform. It was a habit, she noticed. Whenever, Clarissa was tired or nervous, her hands would become abnormally sweaty- leading to her wiping her hands on her uniform.

She shook her head and gave a small smile. Clarissa nodded and walked away, going over to another table to ask for their orders. 

Taking out her earphone and laptop, she logged in and let herself be swept away by the music and stories.

Mia's P.O.V

It was 11:00 am and there was no clue about Lara. She was still asleep in her room. John, Tristan and Leo were playing football in the garden. I was watching t.v. sitting on the coach with a bowl of caramel popcorn. 

After an hour, I decided to go and wake Lara up. When I went in her room, she was already taking a shower. I sat on her bed waiting for her. Later, she came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body. I faced her and saw her eyes swollen. Off-course, she might have cried. "Babe, what's wrong? Why were you crying?" I asked her with a serious look. "Nothing. Mia. I am fine." She said while walking towards her closet. 

"Lara, look at me. Tell me what's wrong? Did that unknown phone caller called you again? Did any bad happened with Ashton yesterday night? Tell me god dammit." I walked towards her. I turned her around. She looked at me. She was holding back her tears. Why? Finally, she let a tear roll down her left cheek. I wiped it and hugged my bestie. 

"Mia, last night when I came into my room. I saw John waiting for me in my room. Last night was very amazing with Ashton. He kissed me and I kissed him back. It became a little make-out session. I didn't know that Ashton gave me hickeys untill John shouted at me. He got very excited when he saw my hickeys. He said that I was his. After, that he left the room. After, a shower when I laid on my bed, I remembered everything which happened five years ago. I am just confused. Those unknown phone calls after five years then John calling me his." I pulled back. 

"Lara, I understand. I don't know about those unknown phone calls but I know about John and you. John must have had any reason to do that to you. He must have had some reasons to ignore or to date Talia five years ago. Louise got missing was not our fault. Yeah, we didn't say anything to the officers about that hangout of me and Louise. It was for a reason. Ok. Just listen to John. Listen to what he says." I gave her a small smile. I assured her. She hugged me and I hugged her back. "We will talk about that call, once the boys stops playing there football." She gave me a nod and went to change her clothes. I came out of her room and directly went to the garden area.

Lara's P.O.V 

I came out of the closet. This time i wore a long type of t-shirt which came to my knee. Most probably. I went to the garden area. I saw the boys playing football. Mia was sitting under a tree. The boys didn't see me. Mia saw me and waved her right hand. I went towards her and sat beside her. She was on insta. I started reading a book on wattpad. I became so busy reading a novel on wattpad. Suddenly, Mia started poking me with her index finger. I faced her. "What?" I snapped at her giving a glare. "Don't snap at me, dude. I poked you because John is continuously staring at you. Just look towards him. Don't just keep reading." She told me with a boring tone. "Ignore him. I don't want to give him the attention for now. I just need some time to hear him out." I again started reading the book. She let out a sigh and started doing whatever she was doing. 

I suddenly heard Leo and Tristan calling John out. I looked up and saw John going angrily inside the cottage. I shrugged my shoulders and continued with my work.

It was the lunch time. We all went inside the cottage. Mia went to the kitchen to prepare lunch. I helped her with it. The boys went to their respective rooms. When we made the lunch, Mia called out for everyone. I excused her and went to my room. 

Once again, I saw John standing at my balcony. What's wrong with him? This was twice, he was inside my room. Does he don't get to see a clear view from his balcony. "John, what are you doing in here?" I asked almost shouting at him. "I just wanted to talk. By the way, nice legs." He said, smirking. I narrowed my eyes at him. "What do you want to talk? I don't have much time. You need to hurry." I said folding my hands and because of that my breasts moved up a bit. "Don't do that. I won't be able to stop myself." He said, looking at my breasts. "Stop, looking over their." I said, angrily. "Where?" He asked, innocently. He started walking towards me. 

"You are annoying." I said with a sigh. "You know, right?" He asked, maintaining a distance between us. " What?" I asked confused by his question. "You belong to me and I can see wherever I want to." He said, coming closer to me. I started backing away untill my back hit the door. He closed the gap between us by keeping his each hand beside my head. "What in the hell, do you need John?" I asked him not breaking the eye contact. 

"I need only one thing, Lara and that's....you. What I did five years ago was for a fucking reason. I didn't have any interest, dating Talia. You won't believe me. Whenever, I used to see you and Ashton together my blood would start boiling. I always had a crush on you, the time I landed my eyes on you. I was scared of your rejection, Lara. When I started ignoring you, I had many enemies. I didn't want them to hurt you. Only, because of that reason I started dating Talia. She was only a time-pass to me." He finished. I didn't say anything. I was holding back my tears. I didn't want him to see my tears or to even feel...I was a weak person. "I love you, Lara. Please, don't date that ass-hole Ashton. Once again." He said, while looking down. 

"I need some time to think. John. I hope you understand." He faced me, while I said. "It's ok, Lara. I understand. I deserve it." He left, saying it. I went to my bed and laid down. I was thinking about John. Whether, I should trust him or not. My thoughts were disturbed by a beep-beep sound from my phone. I took my phone and saw a message from an unknown number. I opened the message and it said:-

Unknown number,
Hey, Lara. I hope you will forgive John for what he did five years ago. It was to save you from his enemies. You must be thinking, why a threatner will give you good suggestions. Well, I am a good person. Lara. The only thing is that I want you guys to give justice to Louise. From your group someone has helped Louise's aunt to kill her.
I tried so much to give justice to Louise by collecting evidence about her aunt. You don't know me but I know you guys. I am someone very close to Louise. Louise used to share each and everything with me. You only have to do is, recall everything and you will find some clue. I will be giving you hints and you have to find out everything. If you don't do, what I ask you to do...then just be ready to lead a fucking miserable life. I'll make sure that you guys lead a life of hell. Don't take it lightly. If you want to show this message to everyone then just go for it. But, don't show it to the wrong person. 
I hope you understand, Lara.

I was shocked after, I saw that message. I started recalling everything. Mia was the one who saw Louise the last time. Mia was little suspicious to me as she didn't tell the whole story. She told that when Louise went to the washroom, Mia went to attend a call. When she came back Louise was missing. Mia also showed a note to everyone and said that it had been written by Louise. The handwriting was not of Louise. No one knew her handwriting except me as I and Louise used to be in psychology class together. I knew at that time that something was wrong. I trusted Mia. She can't kill anyone nor she can help an illegal work. I needed to show this message to everyone. Now, for our safety I can not show this message to Mia. It can be dangerous. 

I messaged Tristan from my room asking him to come and meet me. After some time, someone knocked on my door. I opened the door and their were both John and Tristan. "I am so sorry Lara, that John came up with me. He was like, I can't let you and Lara be alone." He said looking at John. John hitted Tristan's shoulder. "Owe, man." He said rubbing his shoulder. "Guys, look at this message." I showed them the message. Tristan read the first part and looked between me and John. "You are going to forgive John for what he did five years ago?" He asked. "I don't know. I need some time to think about it." I said looking at John. He smirked towards me. "Read further." I said them. 

"Shittt, Lara. We need to show this to Leo." He said. "I know." I and John said it together. To change the topic, I cleared my throat. "Call Leo outside the cottage and ask him to meet us in 10 minutes. It's already 2:00 pm." And then left my room. I got ready into a simple blue jeans and a black top. I went down to accept Mia waiting for me down, but she was not there. I went outside my cottage and saw them standing their waiting for me. I waved my hands towards them. I went towards them.

"What's up, Lara? Why you three are off? Is everything alright?" Leo asked, little bit scared. "Leo, just read this message and you will get to know. Everything." I showed him the same message. He read the message again and again. He looked at me then at John and then at Tristan. "Guys, it's really...shocking." Leo said. "We know." Tristan said. "Now, we have to think....What we can do now, about giving justice to Louise." John said looking at us. We were in deep thoughts untill Mia came and hugged Leo from behind. We all tried to be casual. 

"Guys, what's wrong?" Mia asked, concerned. "Nothing, babe." Leo said. Tristan and John went inside the cottage. After, a minute I too went inside. 

Keeping those messages aside. I started thinking about forgiving John. 

I know John, since our mont. He told me the reason. Suddenly, someone tapped on my shoulder making me turn towards a hard wall. I looked up and saw it was none other than John, smiling at me. "Missing me sweetheart?" He asked me. "Nope. Actually, I am missing...Ashton. Already." I smiled at him innocently. The anger was evident on his face, after what I said. He suddenly pushed me towards the wall. In a minute, I was captured between him and the wall.

"You are mine. Mine alone. Don't you dare think about that asshole. Get that thing in your pretty little head." He said. The anger was fuming within him. "John....I..." I was about to say something but he spoke before him. "Don't say anything. You are all mine. I don't want to share, what's mine with anyone. Do you understand?" He was staring into me, intently. "John, I am not yours. I am not a possession of yours. I-" I was unable to form my words as, John captured my lips with his lips.

He was kissing me. Once again. But, this time it was so deep.

I did what I felt like to do. I was kissing him back. We were kissing so passionately that were now breathless but, he didn't stop kissing me. He left my lips and started kissing my neck. He started giving feather kisses towards my collar-bone. He bite my ear making me moan. Again, he captured my lips with his lips. He bite my lower lip. I involuntarily bite his upper lip causing him to make a groan. The kissing session was about to turn us but before that someone's voice made us jump away from each other.

"Oh, shit. What the fuuckkk? Find yourselves a room. God damnit." It was Tristan. Who spoke those words. My cheeks turned into a shade of pink. I looked towards John with a corner of my eye and saw something....which happens very rare. He was fucking blushing too. I excused myself and ran towards my room. I heard Tristan laughing.

Oh. Fuck. I need to control my hormones near him.

Leo's P.O.V 

"Hello!" I replied the unknown phone call not knowing what was going to come. "I know everything about you Leo, in fact not even you but about all your best friends. You cant just forget the things you guys did five years ago. The nightmare has come Leo and console your besties as I am not going to let you live your fucking life now. I'll make your lives so fucking miserable that you guys will beg me to leave you." Said from the unknown man who was speaking to me. My hands were shaking. It was all a misunderstanding. The things we did five years ago was only to help her out. We didn't even know where the hell Louise go.

Chapter 19: Chocolate Candies

Pagkapasok ko sa Classroom namin, there's a something took my attention, may maraming chocolate candies na nakapatong sa aking 'mesa. Nagtataka ko itong pinagdadampot at tiningnan mabuti. There's no a card or what, maybe this is not for me. I guess there's a someone put these on my table at kukunin rin mamaya. Nakikipatong lang for awhile.

Nilipat ko 'yong mga chocolates sa table naman ni Oliver kasi kailangan ko nang umupo at ayoko naman na may sagabal. 

Hindi ko maiwasan na hindi mailaglag 'yong iba dahil sa rami nito. Itong mga chocolates na ito parang katulad sa tindahan na tig-pipiso, kaso imported at mukhang mas mahal pa sa kisses. Siguro naman hindi bilang no'n naglagay nito dito kasi kung bibilangin ay siguro mga nasa 80 pieces. Sino ba naglagay nito rito? Hindi manlang nilagay sa lagayan, eh. Nakakabwiset.

Mas pinapaniwalaan ko na hindi bilang no'n naglagay nito dito. Hmm.. I like to get one chocolate candy pero mukhang hindi naman aabot sa lalamunan ko, maybe just two. Eek! Stop Jamilla. Masama magnakaw nang hindi sa iyo.

"Jamilla! Uy! Sa 'yo 'yan!" Rinig kong tawag sa akin ng classmate kong babae kaya kunot noo ko itong tiningnan. 

"Sa akin?" Hindi makapaniwala kong tanong sa kanya habang tinuturo ko pa ang aking sarili.

"Yes." Nakangiti niyang saad. 

"Kanino galing?" Naguguluhan pa rin ako. Gusto kong malaman kung sino nagbigay nito sa akin para maibalik muli sa kanya, kahit kanina pa ako natatakam, ayoko pa rin tanggapin. 

"He wasn't want to tell his name to us, but he's so gwapo and ang laki-laki ng katawan. Siguro taga senior-high siya." Sagot naman ng isa ko pang kaklase. Malaki katawan? Gwapo? Senior high? Gosh. Pati taga-do'n ay umabot ang beauty ko. Ang ganda ko talaga.

"Okay?" Umupo na ako at nagdalawang isip kung kukunin ko ba o huwag na. But in the end kinuha ko ulit babalik at pinatong ulit sa aking 'mesa. Ilalagay ko na lang ito sa bag ko at 'pag nalaman ko na kung sino nagbigay nito sa akin ay saka ko na lang ibabalik. 

After kong ilipat 'yong mga chocolate candies ay naisipan kong pulutin naman 'yong mga nasa sahig na nailaglag ko.

"Kung ilan makukuha ko akin na lang, ha?" Bigla akong napatigil sa pagpulot at tumingin sa taong nagtanong sa akin. 'Andiyan na pala siya, hindi ko namamalayan. 

"Excuse me? Bigay raw 'to sa akin at ibabalik ko." 

"Do you think na tatanggapin pa niya 'yan? You should claim it, bigay na nga sa 'yo, ibabalik mo pa." Ngisi niyang sabi.

"Walang info kung kanino nanggaling ito. Baka mamaya, mamatay na lang ako kasi may lason 'to."

"You know what? You're such an over-acting person." Umiling-iling na lang ako at hindi ko na lang siya pinansin. Mas mabuti nang huwag nang makipagtalo sa kanya dahil alam kong walang patutunguhan iyon. Itinuon ko na lang ang aking atensyon sa pagpupulot. 

Mabilis kaming natapos at nilagay na namin sa bag ko. Ilan minuto na lang ay magsisimula na rin ang aming klase kaya medyo marami-rami na rin kaming estudyante rito. 

"Look, Tiger Girl." Tawag niya sa akin. Mabilis akong tumingin sa kanya saka sinarado ang bag ko. Jusko! Mukhang lobo na ang bag ko dahil sa rami ng laman nito. 

"Bakit?" Nakita kong kumain siya ng isang chocolate candy. "Ba't mo kinain? Ibabalik ko pa nga sabi 'yan, ah! Iluwa mo!" Hinawakan ko ang leeg niya at sapilitang pinapaluwa. Akala ko nailagay na niya lahat ng hawak niya sa bag ko pero kumuha pa rin ng isa. Hays! Ang kulit talaga niya.

"Aray! Bitawan mo nga 'ko. Isa lang naman kinain ko. Gusto ko lang mapatunayan sa 'yo na walang talaga itong lason, and safe siyang kainin."

"How you so sure? Malay mo, saka lang siya magkakaroon ng effects kapag marami ka na nakakain." Tinanggal ko na ang kamay ko sa leeg niya. 

"So? Let me try it, give me more." Nilahad niya ang palad niya na para bang naghihintay na maglagay ako do'n. Asa siyang bibigyan ko pa siya. Slight lang pagiging slow ko kaya hindi niya ako mauuto ngayon.

"Nek nek mo! Hindi ako uto-uto 'no!" 

"Isa lang. Please?" Paaawa niya. Jusko! Presence pa ba ni Oliver 'yong nararamdaman ko? Or may masamang lang na espiritu ang sumanib sa kanya?

"Ang rami-rami mong chocolates sa condo mo tapos nanghihingi ka pa sa akin." 

"Kakaiba 'yon na sa 'yo. It was my first time to eat that kind of chocolate." 

"Ibabalik ko nga kasi, ayoko-" Napatigil ako sa pagsasalita dahil bigla kong naramdaman ang pag-vibrate ng phone ko mula sa bulsa ko.

Napuno ng pagtataka ang aking sarili when I saw the unknown number written on the screen. Sino naman kaya 'to? Imposibleng si Oliver 'to kasi nasa tabi ko lang siya and na-save ko na rin 'yon number niya.

Hinayaan ko na lang siyang tumunog at nilagay na lang ulit sa bulsa ko. Titigil din naman 'yan mamaya. Magsasawa rin 'yan. Mas mabuti nang 'wag sagutin 'yong tawag kaysa patayan siya. 

"Why don't you answer that call?" Tanong sa akin ni Oliver. 

"Unknown number kasi 'yong nakalagay eh." Kinuha ko ulit sa bulsa ko 'yong phone at iniharap ko sa kanya 'yong screen para ipakita. Tiningnan naman niya ito at kumunot din ang noo. 

"Sagutin mo na baka emergency sa relatives mo." Saad niya. Hmm... he had a point naman. 

Muli kong iniharap sa akin 'yon phone ko at itinuon ang pansin rito. Nagdadalawang-isip pa ako kung sasagutin ko ba o huwag na. But in the end ay sinagot ko na rin kasi naisip ko na wala naman mawawala sa 'kin if I answer that call. 

"Hello?" 

"Hello? I thought you wouldn't answer my call. Thank you." Ramdam ko ang saya niya dahil sa boses niya. Ni-loud speaker ko 'yong phone ko para marinig din ni Oliver.

Sino naman ito? Hindi familiar 'yong boses niya sa akin, so definitely hindi ko pa siya kilala, halos lahat naman kasi ng kakilala ko ay alam kong 'yong mga boses. But surely, lalaki siya kasi husky 'yong voice niya. 

"Ako? Are you sure?" I suddenly feel foreboding and my mind starting to become over think. Ito na naman, nag-iisip na naman ng imposible ang utak ko, tulad ng baka murder 'tong kausap ko at gusto akong patayin. Gosh. Husky kasi 'yon voice niya at sabi niya gusto raw niya ako makausap. Oh my gosh. Hindi naman siguro totoo 'tong iniisip ko. Sadyang tama lang si Oliver at OA ka lang Jamilla. 

"Yes!" 

"B-Bakit?" Halos nagpipigil ng tawa si Oliver habang nakatingin sa akin, hindi ko na lang siya pinansin kasi alam kong iniisip niya na nagiging OA na ulit ako. Halata siguro sa mukha ko. Naku!

"I just wanted to know your reaction when you saw my surprise. So? Nagulat ka ba? Hehe.." Napahinga ako ng maluwag dahil sigurado na ako na hindi ito murder. The way he speaks is not so scary, 'yong normal lang. 

Aksidente akong napatingin kay Oliver na ngayon ay nag-a-ayos na ng ear-phone at nakapoker-face ang mukha.

"Are you still there?" Muli akong napatingin sa phone ko dahil bigla siyang nagsalita. 

"Yah. Ano nga ulit tanong mo?" 

"Hm.. nagulat ka ba when you see my surprise? 'Yong mga chocolates candies?" 

"Slight lang. Ikaw ba ang nagbigay?" Bakit mo tinanong 'yan Jamilla? Surprise niya nga 'yon para sa 'yo. Inaatake na naman ako ng pagiging slow. 

"Yes!"

"Naku! hindi ko po ito matatanggap kung kaya't gusto ko sana ulit itong ibalik sa 'yo kas-" Naputol agad ang sasabihin ko dahil bigla siyang nagsalita. 

"'Wag! Please, sa 'yo 'yan. 'Wag mong ibabalik." 

"Masyadong marami." 

"That's fine. Ibigay mo sa mga friends mo or family mo, basta 'wag mong ibabalik, bigay ko 'yan sa 'yo, eh." Nang banggitin niya 'yon word na 'friends' walang-ano-ano ay napatingin ako bigla kay Oliver, ibibigay ko na nga lang sa kanya 'yon haft ng chocolates, since kinukulit niya 'ko kanina.

Bakit ko pa tinanong 'yon kung secret admirer ko nga siya? "Gusto pa sana kita makausap but our prof is already here na. Bye! Thank you for your time. Sa uulitin." 

Pinatay na niya ang tawag kaya naman nilagay ko na agad ang phone ko sa bulsa ko. Sumandal ako sa upuan ko at tumunganga sa labas ng bintana. Gosh! Parang umuulit-ulit sa utak ko 'yong mga sinabi niya. 

"Anong sabi niya?" Tumingin ako kay Oliver na ngayon ay nakatingin din sa akin. 

"Secret admirer ko raw siya and magiging boyfriend ko rin daw siya sa susunod." Ngumisi lang siya at ginulo ang buhok kong straight na straight. Hala! Ilan beses ko itong sinuklayan para lang maging straight tapos guguluhin niya lang. "Ano ba?!"

"Defensive." 

"Hindi nga kasi! Ano ba?!" Tumigil na ako kakahampas sa kanya dahil 'yong palad ko ang namumula at medyo kumikirot-kirot. Baliktad eh, instead na siya ang masaktan ay ako pa rin pala. 

"Hindi na nga kita aasarin, baka maging tayo bigla." Hirit pa niya. 

Inirapan ko na lang siya at hindi na pinansin. Gosh. Umiinit na naman ang ulo ko. Itininuon ko na lang ang tingin ko sa labas ng bintana.

Teka nga lang, anong oras na ba at wala pa rin 'yong teacher namin? Late na siya, ah. 

"Psst! Ibabalik mo pa ba 'yong mga chocolates?" Tanong ni Oliver sa akin kaya humarap ulit ako sa kanya.

"Hindi na." Ngumiti siya ng malapad sa akin. 

"Pahingi." Masigla niyang saad. Hays. Bakit ang kulit niya ngayon? Anong nakain niya? 

"Actually I decided to give you the haft of it kasi ang kulit mo." Binuksan ko na ang bag ko at binigay sa kanya 'yong kalahati.

"Salamat!" Masaya niyang pasalamat nang makuha na niya 'yong chocolate candies. Gosh! Para siyang bata na binigyan ng piso para ibili ng lollipop. 

"Good morning class. Sorry I'm late." Biglang bati ni Mrs Melina kaya umayos na kami ng upo. "Nawala kasi 'yon Usb ko at hinanap ko pa sa bahay, naka-save kasi dito 'yon i-didicuss ko for this day. So before ako mag-discuss, alam ko na alam niyo na umalis na si Daenice." Tumango-tango lang kami.

Biglang tumama ang tingin niya sa akin at ngumiti, I don't why she gave me that smile so ngumiti rin ako babalik. "Ms. Aravello and Mr. Lee you may now transfer here again." Itinuro niya 'yon upuan kung saan talaga kami nakaupo ni Oliver sa harapan. 'Yon inagawan ako ni Daenice ng upuan.

"Tara na!" I suddenly shock nang hawakan bigla ni Oliver 'yon kamay ko para pumunta agad sa mga upuan namin. Hindi ko na nagawang magpumiglas pa dahil ramdam ko 'yon higpit ng hawak niya. 

"Yieeee!" Tukso ng mga kaklase namin nang ikinadahilan ng pag-kulo ng dugo ko. I don't want this, I don't really want this. Ramdam kong unti-unting umiinit ang mukha ko dahil sa kahihiyan na ginagawa ni Oliver. Issue na naman. Hays!

Nang makaupo na kami agad naman niya binitawan ang kamay ko at kumain ulit ng isa pang chocolate. Ang takaw talaga niya.

"Namumula ka." Usisa niya sa mukha ko.

"Hindi ah. Hindi ako kinikilig!" Depensa ko. Bahagya kong tinakpan ang bibig ko dahil huli nang malaman ko kung anong sinabi ko.

"Ha? I'm not saying anything. I've only said is namumula ka." Inirapan ko siya at tumingin kay Mrs. Melina na ngayon ay nag-didiscuss na. "Huli ka na naman." Bulong niya sa tenga ko kaya naman ako ay nagulat. Jusko! 

"Tarantado, tumigil ka nga!"

Dahil sa maling nagawa niya, puno ng pagsisisi ang dala-dala niya sa huli.

At first I thought you were a girl dahil sa sobrang daldal at kulit mo. Lagi mong binabaha at binubulabog ang GC sa mga messages mong walang kwenta. You're flooding the GC with stickers and emojis.

One day, wala akong magawa, it's because walang pumapasok na prof sa klase and again nag-iingay ka na naman sa GC. Walang pumapansin sa'yo, so I did is nagreply ako sa mga emoji's mo.

"Hey!" I chatted and you replied "Hay sa wakas may pumansin rin."

Humaba ang usapan natin sa GC and then you asked me how old I am. Sinabi ko sayong hulaan mo at puro 20+ taon ang pinagbabanggit mo so I cut you off and said. "Hey sis! I'm just 18!" 

"Sis? The fuck! I'm a boy." I was shocked of what you said. Wait--what? You're a boy?

Tawa ako nang tawa sa naging reaction mo nung sinabi ko ang 'sis' kaya everytime na nagkakausap tayo sa GC ay tinatawag na kitang sis.

One day nagtaka ako dahil ang tahimik ng GC. Nasanay ako sa sobrang kaingayan mo kaya nag PM ako sa'yo. At first I thought hindi ka magrereply because it's almost an hour  nung nag chat ako.

"Sorry late reply, may tinatapos lang akong kwento." You replied.

"Ahh, anong binabasa mo?"

"No, I'm mean I'm writing a story. Hehe."

"Writer ka?" 

"Hmm. Aspiring."

Starting that day nang malaman kong nagsusulat ka pala hindi na ako nagtataka kung hindi ka nag-iingay sa GC. Minsan chinachat mo ako at nagtatanong ng mga bagay-bagay tungkol sa isang babae para sa story mo, like, "Nagsusungit ba talaga ang mga babae pag may mens" "paano kiligin ang mga babae" at kung anu-ano pa. 

Sinabi mo sa akin na itry kong basahin ang isa sa mga stories na ginawa mo at masasabi ko namang maganda ito. I became your number 1 reader. Ako ang nagche-cheer sa iyo na huwag tumigil sa pagsusulat kasi minsan nawawalan ka ng pag-asa dahil kaunti lang ang nagbabasa sa gawa mo. Minsan kinukumpara mo pa ito sa mga masisikat na authors.

Never compare your works to others. Lahat tayo may iba't ibang estilo sa pagsusulat. 

Tinulungan kitang magplug ng stories mo sa iba't-ibang groups at pages. Minsan nga pinagpapaliban ko pa ang mga homeworks at projects ko kasi tutok ako sa pagplug ng stories mo. Ni recommend din kita sa mga kaklase ko na nagbabasa sa wattpad. I'd never stop plugging and recommending your works. Hindi ako kailanman nakaramdam ng pagod sa ginagawa ko kasi masaya akong natutulungan kita.

Ramdam kong sobrang saya mo.

Noon chinachat mo ako pag nangungulit ka, kapag may itinatanong ka pero ngayon iba na. Chinachat mo nalang para lang sabihing "nakapag-plug ka na ba sa group na ito? Blah blah" "Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa kanila na dinelete ko na ang kwentong iyan?!" "Diba sabi ko wag mong kalimutan?" "Ikaw naman kasi eh! Di ka nakikinig."

Tatlo sa mga stories mo ang umabot ng million reads. Dali-dali kong inopen ang account mo sa facebook at may isang post ka roon na kumuha ng atensyon ko.

"My first ever book. Thank you for the support!"

Nakaramdam ako ng matinding lungkot. Ni isang beses hindi ako nakatanggap ng thank you galing sa iyo. Sa lahat ng ginawa ko wala akong natanggap kahit isang salamat sa mga iyon. Maybe, you don't treat me as your friend. You only treat me as nothing.

Sumikat ka sa wattpad. You already have your own book signings at nandoon ako every event mo. Kung nasaan ka, nandoon din ako. I'm still your reader. I'm still your fan. I'm proud that one of my friends is now a  writer.

Minsan gusto kong lumapit at magpakilala sa'yo. But I think you don't need me anymore. You suddenly forgot me. You suddenly forgot the things and efforts I did.
