+ From ancient Greek myths to Game of Thrones, the legend of the dragon is one of the most enduring and romanticized throughout history. It has been traced back as far as 4000 BC and exists in all parts of the world. In and around Europe dragons are viewed mostly as monsters of evil intent. In ancient Rome, the army used dragons as symbols of strength. During the Renaissance, fear of sea monsters kept sailors from venturing too far from known waters, and the edges of their maps would read "Here be dragons."


+ The etymology of the word dragon, which it says entered the English lexicon in around 1220 and was used in English versions of the Bible from the early 14th century. Dragon derives from Old French, the language used by nobles and law courts following the Norman conquest of 1066. This, in turn, stems from the Latin draconem or Draco meaning "big serpent," which was derived from ancient Greek δράκων (drakon).


+ In Greek mythology, the Hesperian Dragon named Ladon was a hundred-headed serpent that guarded the golden apples in the garden of the Hesperides. Historically, European dragons were viewed as being evil, jealous, and greedy hoarders of treasure. In the stories, they were generally treated as violent monsters who must be slain by heroes and saints. European dragons could have four legs, two legs, or none, and often had wings.


+ In Asia, and especially China, the view of these creatures was very different. + Ancient Origins discusses a number of potential roots. The first one is crocodiles. Saltwater and Nile crocodiles are the two largest living reptiles on earth today. Currently, saltwater crocodiles live in the eastern Indian Ocean region, and Nile crocs in the rivers, marshes, and lakes of Sub-Saharan Africa. But 1,000 years they had a much larger habitat range and could have been encountered by people living in Greece, Spain, and Southern Italy.

+ Dragons appear in the mythology of many ancient cultures but nowhere else in the world was the creature quite so revered as in China. There, in marked contrast to other world mythologies, the dragon was almost always seen in a positive light and particularly associated with life-giving rains and water sources. Considered the most auspicious year sign, worn on the robes of emperors, depicted in the most precious materials from gold jewelry to jade figurines, and with countless references in literature and the performing arts, the dragon was everywhere in ancient China and looms as large today in the Chinese psyche as ever.


+ One of the earliest creatures to appear in the tales and legends of ancient China, the dragon is most often depicted as a giant and lithe beast which dwells in either water sources or clouds.


+ The Chinese dragon is extraordinarily powerful, and when it flies, it is usually accompanied by lightning and thunder. When, by whom, and on what reality the dragon was first invented is not known, although some historians suggest a link with rainbows and a 'serpent of the sky' which is seen after rain showers or at waterfalls. Carved jade dragons have been excavated at sites of the Hongshan culture, which can be dated to 4500-3000 BCE, far before any written records of the creature appeared. The historian R. Dawson gives the following description of the Chinese dragon's physical attributes.


+ Alternative descriptions give similar attributes but sometimes with the body of a snake, the eyes of a rabbit, the belly of a frog, and the antlers of a deer. Other qualities of the dragon were that it could change its shape and size at will and disappear or reappear wherever it wished.


+ The Chinese scholar Wen Yiduo suggested that this fantastic collection of beastly parts was actually based on the political union of several different tribes, each with a different animal as their totem. The dragon was, therefore, a symbolic representation of the assimilation of these tribes into a single nation. An interesting hypothesis, it does not, however, explain the appearance of dragons long before any such political associations existed in early Chinese communities.


+ Despite the dragon's fearsome aspect it was not usually seen as the bad-intentioned monster that inhabits the myths of other cultures around the world where it is typically slain by a brave hero figure. Indeed, in China, the dragon was and is regarded as being a just and benevolent creature.


+ It is for this reason they became associated with rulership and especially the emperors of China who, in their capacity as the holders of the Mandate of Heaven and as God's representative on earth, must always rule in a just and impartial manner for the good of all their subjects.

+ Dragons can be placed in two groups- East and West dragons, and they were regarded as either good or very fearsome and evil creatures. In ancient China, the dragon was a highly significant creature that became a symbol of the Emperor and his throne was sometimes called the Dragon Throne.  Ancient Chinese believed dragons were in control the weather and water. These creatures were said to be able to manipulate oceans, floods, tornadoes, and storms.


+ There are nine distinctive Chinese dragons and some of them are serpent-like creatures with large bodies and long heads. The dragon in China is believed to be a benign creature that is said to bring wisdom, power, and luck. They are famous for their goodness and to ward off evil, protect the innocent and bring safety to all. Tradition and celebration of New Year in China can be traced to a dragon named Nien (or "year").


+ Nien was a legendary wild beast that attacked people at the end of the old year. Villagers would use loud noises and bright lights to scare the creature away, a practice that slowly morphed into the Chinese New Year festivities. Today the dragon has its own year on the Chinese calendar. On the British Isles and in Scandinavia, dragons were often depicted as wingless creatures. In this part of the world, the dragon was depicted as a more malevolent creature that was very difficult to kill. The West dragon was wingless and lived in dark places or wells where he was guarding hoard treasures. Approaching the dragon was almost impossible because of its poisonous fire breath. Dragons in British and Scandinavian mythology often appear in stories when a prince tries to save a young maiden from being abducted by the fearsome animal.

The Dragon Kings are among the deified forces of nature of the Taoist religion. A dragon's head was one of the most famous symbols of the Vikings. 


+The Viking dragon was in many ways a representation of the Midgard Serpent, a mythical sea creature who fought with the Norse god, Thor. The reason why Vikings built ships with huge dragonheads was that they wanted to appear as frightening as possible from a long distance. Vikings called their longships "Drakkar" or dragon ships and the dragon was a powerful and fearsome symbol of war.


+ Many have seen the Welsh flag features a red dragon and that the Prince of Wales uses rampant dragons on his banner. The old British word "draig," meant leader, and the word, "pen," meant head. The two words combined to form Pendragon or Pen Draig, a noble surname in early Britain as early as the fifth century. The dragon symbol continued to be used by the last native Welsh princes of Wales, Llewelyn ap Gruffydd, and Owain Glyndwr, during their struggles against English occupation in the 14th and 15th centuries.

The virtual gaming world's Five Great Super Guilds had been established at the birth of virtual reality games. Every one of them had more than a century of history, and they were responsible for hosting many international virtual competitions.
Generally, players had to give an outstanding performance in these competitions to become an internal member in one of the Five Great Super Guilds. Ordinary experts had no hope of being recruited.
Although the Five Great Super Guilds had relaxed their recruitment requirements considerably since God's Domain's launch, one still had to be a Refinement Realm expert at the very least. It was easy to imagine how powerful those Super Guilds' foundations were.

How did he become so strong all of a sudden? Even Blue Phoenix, now a Tier 3 player, was shocked by the transformation.
Although she had sensed that the man was very dangerous, she had felt confident that she could hold her ground against him, but now, she felt powerless before him. However, she could tell that the difference between them wasn't one of Basic Attributes, but from their different mental capacities.
So, this is the western continent's rumored Combat Rune?
The situation even surprised Nine Dragons Emperor. Although the Dragon-Phoenix Pavilion had no power on the western continent, it had investigated it. There are many mythological systems namely, Huaxia Mythology, Norse Mythology, Western Mythology...Each mythological system contains countless secrets and riddles of the paths leading to transcendence. Although the vast majority of the information we have now is fragmented, it's not difficult to discover that there's a major common point throughout all myths and legends."
He paused, but he didn't purposely act mysterious. His voice involuntarily turned heavy.
Feng Lin's heart clenched. He instinctively felt that he was about to hear the greatest truth of this gene origin laboratory. He naturally had to listen closely.
"Witches and Angels from Western Mythology. Immortals, Deities, and Buddhas from Huaxia. The Nymphs of Maya. Amun and Pharaohs of Egypt… Backtracking through the long river of time, you will discover that at the origin, chaos was everywhere. That was the most original state where there's no space, no time, no beginning, and no end. From there on, gods appeared, splitting the heavens and earth, creating the world. He lifted his hands and spoke complacently. A look of madness could be seen on his face.
When Feng Lin heard his words, his external expression was calm, but he was deeply shocked.
Although this Kennard was a mad man, he couldn't help but admit that this man was truly an extremely rare and genuine genius of the genetic field!

"Whether this is true or not, you will know when you see it!" said Kennard in a low voice. His fingers began to tap rapidly as he inputted data.
Very soon, in that cultivating device, the creation cells started to change.
The meatball was like a chicken egg that continued to squirm as it rapidly grew larger.
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. 
A powerful heartbeat rang out from within.
Chaos was like a chicken egg!
A mythological creature that had been nurtured for a long time seemed to have awakened within the egg.

A frenzied roar rang out suddenly.
The meatball changed rapidly, transforming into a devil cloaked in fire. This was a Balrog with black horns on its head. Although it was only at the height of a human, its features were extremely fiendish and malevolent, radiating a terrifying aura.
Bang bang bang!
The instant the Balrog appeared, it frenziedly began to beat on the transparent alloy wall. The flames burned with more intensity, wanting to incinerate everything.
"Balrog of western mythology?" Feng Lin's eyes narrowed.
But things hadn't ended yet!
Kennard continued to input information. At the next moment, the Balrog melted and went back to the shape of a chicken egg. After that, a tiny person was born.
Her figure was dainty and her countenance beautiful. Long jade-green hair flowed down, reaching her waist; her ears were pointed. This was none other than another mythological creature of western mythology. An elf!
They were born with transcendent abilities and had a great affinity with nature. They were known as the seeds of the world's fortune and blessed with grace and beauty, enjoying lifespan as high as 1,000 years.
An aura that was one with nature radiated from it. The elements of wind, fire, water, wood, and metal—all sorts of nature energy began to flow toward her like birds flying back to their homes in the forest. The flows of energy were extremely docile and coiled around her like obedient pets.
The creation cells were the source of all genes. It seemed that it could truly transform into the various mythological creatures with each having their unique abilities.
This thought surfaced in Feng Lin's heart.
Ang!
An intense roar of a dragon rang out.
The beautiful elf turned back into a chicken egg.
After that, a head with deer antlers and a face resembling an ox with a beard appeared...
The moment it appeared, it shook its head and tail. Its long sinuous body continued undulating. Eagle talons, fish scale, the body of a python…
When this mythological creature appeared, it brimmed with an innate air of divinity, as though nothing could blaspheme it.

Tomorrow, Allan is dragging a boat with him, he drag it to the beach, it only need a little push to set it sail, the boat have 2 magic paddle that he make himself, the paddle can do their job automaticaly.

He call for Crystal who searching for little crab on the beach, " Crystal it's ready " Crystal go toward him right after.

" amazing you can make this by yourself " Allan smile at Crystal.

" of course they are, now take a sit " he sit at the back sit while Crystal at the front because she is the guide.

Allan push it to the sea, he jump and take a sit.

" now which way to go for that legend ? " Crystal thinking for a while, and Allan wait.

" the sound come from that direction usually " Crystal point to a direction.

" east it is " then the paddle move and making the boat move to the east.

The boat has protecting from various spell, including protection from rain or this time can be called a storm.

" stop here " the land can be seen but it's really far, the boat stop.

" why ? " Allan ask, Crystal smile.

" it is far from the usual place but there is storm on that direction " Allan nod hearing her word.

A cold wind blow and the black cloud grow closer to them, the boat move backward automaticaly.

A vibration come from the ocean below, Allan gaze at Crystal who also gazing at him.

" what's that vibration ? " Allan ask toward Crystal.

" it's from the ocean maybe it's the dragon ? " Crystal wonder.

Heavy downpour occur as rain drop begin hitting the shield of the boat.

" you really go prepared you know Allan " Allan laugh.

" I know Crystal " a pair of blue horn come from below the ocean.

The owner is a a dragon with serpentine form, the scale like diamond and sapphire glistening even under the storm, the water begin to churn as if the very presence of that creature affecting the ocean, the boat is rocked but thankfully it's filled with spell


The water begin to gathering between the horn of that dragon the enormous amount of water compressing to a little ball and one moment later the ball shooting numerous water drop to the black cloud with extreme speed that cannot be seen with naked eyes.

The black cloud dissapear with the storm, a power to change the weather as one wished, as the black cloud dissapear the dragon roared that create shockwave to the surrounding, the dragon gaze at them with one eye and seeing it's was only humans it ignored them, then it dive back to the ocean.

Crystal is shocked by sight she see, while Allan also shocked a fitting word for that creature will be.

" a living natural disaster " he does not doubt the creature can by itself make a tsunami only using tiny bit of it's power.

' a near impossile target  ' the aura it give is something that only a ruler can give out, the Blue dragon and when the dragon gaze at them it feel like the ocean is pressuring them thankfully it's only for a moment and Crystal seems fine too.

" it's amazing really, but why didn't anyone see the dragon ? " Allan wonder.

" I don't know too, what we shall call it ? " Allan think for a moment then give out a name.

" how about Meng Zhang it's name of a beast from chinese mythology the Azure dragon and I think it fit in to deserve that name " Crystal smile.

"a great name then we'll call it Meng Zhang, Meng for short " Allan nod.

" let's go back " Crystal nod at his word,  the boat move toward the beach leaving the ocean.

' really magnificent ' he thought and seem Crystal also agree with him as she thought out aloud.

" really magnificent " he smile.

and yes a problem occurred.

Back in the other world, before the battle. Lachlan was currently on the edge of the castle grounds, overseeing the entire ocean as small birds flew alongside the castle. By his side were the three eggs, currently unhatched due to one important reason.
Lachlan was mentally preparing himself for the pain he's about to feel through his eyes and mind, he also didn't want to go through that pain while in the other world. He was patient and could wait the extra time for him to make it to the island. After all, so far along his return journey nothing has happened.
As for taming the dragons, fortunately, before he left the Dark Dragon King informed him that the dragons in the eggs are all related despite being of different appearance. As dragons work rather differently, they don't cross breed two different dragons to get a better one as that won't necessarily work. Because the genes of a dragon aren't created through taking the genes of its parents, but rather, they're formed as they absorb the elements they're most compatible through the air. Which is also why there's such a variety of dragons.
As for the ones Lachlan has by his side, he could judge just from the colour of the eggshell alone what they're likely to be. One will be Earth/Rock related, One with Water, while the other will be that of Darkness and possibly Fire as well.
Rubbing his hand against the top of the eggs Lachlan muttered faintly as though they could hear him through the shell. "Just a little bit more and I'll get you out of those eggs; then you can join me and become apart of my party. Hope you get along with the others."
The last bit is something Lachlan dearly hoped happened, he hoped that none of the dragons were arrogant like Catastrophe otherwise they'll constantly fight through his mind. It would keep him up at night if that's the case, the constant arguing about who's stronger, Lachlan was already dreading it through his imagination.
The journey continued for another few days, he kept up the speed of the island, so they aren't too late. Fortunately, the castle is rather strong and so is its foundation. Otherwise, with the speed that they're going at, just about every castle on Earth would have been ripped apart with only a few stones or bricks remaining.
Finally, after all that time Lachlan finally managed to catch sight of the island. He had already past the island of elves along the way, this time they didn't bother him and kept to themselves. They didn't want to invite a calamity onto their island. The elves' chieftain didn't want to be the last one, he would thoroughly disappoint his ancestors if he were to be the reason their clan is annihilated.
Lachlan looked at the island and sighed. Unfortunately, he was going to have to leave the castle on the island in Aaron's world because it wasn't able to fit through the spatial gate. Aaron enlightened him on the matter, as spatial gates can appear in all different shapes and sizes. The one which allowed for the undead dragon to bring its temple along with it was likely quite large in comparison to their spatial gate.
So, he landed it carefully on the ground just outside the gate. He then turned to the eggs by his side and smiled joyfully. "Alright, I suppose it's about time I let you all out of your eggs huh?" The eggs responded with a slight shake which made Lachlan's eyes constrict from surprise.
"Alright then, since you're so energetic," Lachlan muttered as he placed his hand above the eggs. Using his great grip strength he pinched a bit of his finger, causing it to bleed out a few droplets of blood before healing up completely. However, that was only enough for one egg which already began to rumble.
Lachlan swiftly went into action and bleed on the other two eggs so they would hatch at roughly the same time. The patterns on the dragon eggs began to light up brightly, the brown eggs caused the ground to start shaking violently as the ground began to form a bed for it. The blue eggs caused a stream of water from the ocean to rise up, it surrounded the egg, wrapping itself around it like a protective shield. Then finally, the black and red egg caused the shadows in the surrounding to warp as the temperature rose, causing the ground to melt beneath it.
"Whoa, now that's not the usual way of hatching out of eggs," Lachlan moved a few metres away to allow the eggs some more room. Also, the heat radiating from the black egg reached some extreme temperatures to the point where even he was slightly sweating. 'Seems they have some good control over the elements, maybe even better than you Aaron.'
'Possibly, however, there's also the chance they have unique elements as well. Take a look at the other two eggs' Aaron replied.
Lachlan turned his attention to the other two eggs, his eyes constricted at the unique sight that was happening before his eyes. The ground which was created to make a casket for the brown egg began to sprout flowers as it flourished with vegetation. The blue egg's water had changed colours to an azure green, it glistened in the sunlight and caused the light that was emitting from the egg to shine brighter as well.
After a few seconds cracks began to spread around the eggs, starting from the top, slowly making its way down before halting roughly halfway down the egg. A small, but cute roar sounded from the eggs as three heads popped out, the top of the eggshell was resting on their heads.
The three baby dragons looked at Lachlan curiously, their eyes filled with wonder as they crawled out of their eggs and up to Lachlan. Similar to the Rocs, the three baby dragons rested their heads on Lachlan's lap as their eyes looked towards Lachlan.
Lachlan took a closer look at the dragons in front of him. 
The dragon which popped out of the brown egg didn't have any wings, however, its body was the largest of the three as a small hill formed on its back with a bit of vegetation growing on it. Its scales were dark brown, and it stood roughly 20cm tall and 30cm long and wide. It looked similar to Earth dragons commonly seen in shows and games, with high defences.
The dragon that came out of the blue egg had azure green scales, small stubs on the top of its head as its body was similar to those of Eastern mythology. Where the dragons looked more like snakes with its long body which reached 40cm long and had a girth of 20cm, around its neck was short but soft fur which formed a mane. Its arms and legs were extremely small, but its eyes were wide and pure, filled with the colour of the deep ocean. Its wings were short and almost transparent.
Finally, the last dragon which came out of the black and red egg looked like those of Western mythology. Its were dark matte black, absorbing the sunlight as the patterns across its body was blood red. The underside of its body was light grey – white, similar to the other two dragons as well. It had two stubs on its head as well, but rather than brown like the blue dragon's, they were black. The dragon stood roughly 30cm tall, with a wingspan of 40cm. The spine of the win was black while the wing membrane was dark red.
Lachlan decided to give taming them a try. Since the races of this world all have unique taming methods, he might not have to dance in front of the dragons to tame them. Especially since they seem to see him as a parent now, similar to what happened with the Rocs.
Wrapping his arms around them Lachlan muttered faintly, "Do you want to help me?"
His vision darkened and he was brought back into what he called the soul world. Where his soul contract was to be completed with the single confirmation of the dragons. Which were all currently floating in front of him silently, staring around them in awe and wonder. Lachlan asked again as he floated over. "So, do you want to help me?"
All three dragons rushed up and bumped their heads into Lachlan, it wasn't a violent bump, rather it was more of a friendly type of bump. Something one might give to a family member which they haven't seen in a while. 
Lachlan chuckled. "Alright, now let's go ahead and choose your names." The time to decide their names was now, they looked at Lachlan curiously with wide eyes, wondering what Lachlan would choose for their names.
Lachlan nodded in approval for his own choices. "Alright, the brown dragon will be called Beaumont, the blue one Lana and the black and red on will be named Orpheus." Lachlan was happy with his choice in names, they call had their meanings and were deeply related to their elements.
Once the names were chosen, he was brought back into his body with the three dragons looking at him curiously, they were sniffing his clothes in search of something. Lachlan was currently undergoing the next stage for him; the tattoos had decided to be placed on Lachlan's chest making his heart heat up. Finally, after a few more seconds and they were done.
Taking off his clothes Lachlan saw three dragon tattoos on his chest, the one at the top was long and slim which went across his chest. The left side of his chest was covered by a dragon tattoo that looked similar to Orpheus while on the right side was a tattoo that looked similar to Beaumont.
The baby dragons crawled up to Lachlan and began rapidly sniff at his body. Lachlan only had to think about it momentarily before realising what they were looking for; it was the blood of their parents, they needed to grow to get stronger. It seems dragons had a deep desire for strength and somehow already had knowledge of how blood increases it at the start of their lives.
Lachlan swiftly disappeared from his spot, he was currently back inside the castle near the entrance, the jar of blood was located by the door. Lachlan quickly returned before opening it up, he dosed the three dragons in the blood which caused them to be slightly shaken.
Their bodies began to glow as they roared with much greater force than before. Their bodies grew much larger than Lachlan had expected, slowly but surely morphing into beasts that had much larger physiques than his Rocs as well as Aaron.
Finally, once it was done the three dragons were in front of him, staring at him closely. Beaumont grew to an astronomical 15 metres tall and 20 – 25 metres long and wide. The hill on its back was a lot more prominent as saplings began to sprout within the thick grassy vegetation.
Lana grew to 30 metres long with a girth of 2 metres, the horns on its head were shaped like antlers, its fur grew thicker creating a majestic mane which flowed gracefully in the wind. On its face, a few dozen whiskers began to sprout just above its mouth. They weren't long, but still rather noticeable. On its back, its wings grew slightly more prominent but were still rather small in comparison to its body.
Orpheus, on the other hand, grew to a height of 25 metres, its wingspan grew to roughly 40 metres. Its scales seemed to almost go to a darker shade of blade, one which seemed to want to consume the light. Its red patterns grew more vibrant as its previously cute appearance disappeared.

It was indeed as Aaron said, the dragons all had unique elements. They were also all incredibly strong for adolescence, they possessed a much high level of innate talent as well. They had potential; potential to be the best beasts in the world.
Now, however, Lachlan had to wait till night time to come to experience the pain. He felt a cold shudder as his back was filled with cold sweats at the thought. 'Who knows, maybe it won't be as bad since I've grown so much stronger."

Devasted by an abrupt evolution that ushered in a new world. Humanity is faced with a difficult challenge of adapting and changing their ways and beliefs. Leaving your friends behind for strength or when in the face of danger is almost a natural decision now.

The discovery of beast taming is all that kept some of them alive and sane. However, how will this discovery change the behaviours of humankind? 

Lachlan is a unique individual with a unique and mysterious background, he encounters many strange people and grows throughout his journey.

But at the end of the day, he has one mission; to gain knowledge and strength to survive and even reign at the top of the world. Making friends and foes along the way.
