I finished the absorbtion of the hair control ability... Now I think that my control of my body part is second to none. I will only need some others ability that are not very important now.
One of the teenager that I saved can control all types of metals in a circle of two meters around him. It will save me from bullets, and it will be even easier to use my armor. I think that it will help me fight magneto if I can develop this ability well. For the moment 2 meters is not enough but I'm sure that I can augment the size.
Like the majority of the abilities before, blood is the best for the absorbtion. I wake up from the process of absorbtion and suddenly I feel a lot of pain in all my body. It's like some snake is moving in my veins, I can even see some of my main artery moving around.
"AI what is happening? "
"Overdose of mutation, the ability absorbtion run on overdrive."
"Are there any remedy"
"None, time is the only remedy, estimated time before recovery : 7 hours. Estimated time before the ability can be used: 4 months, 23 days, 2 hours, 16 minutes."
"AI calculate lapse of time between each safe absorbtion"
" Three weeks is needed to recover from an absorbtion"
I'm glad that it was not on absorbtion each 4 months. I only need to rest, maybe I can control my healing ability to accelerate my healing, all I know is that I can't accelerate the rate of absorbtion.
So the absorbtion has a limit, this is a little setback but this is not that important... We don't have villain attack every single day and furthermore, there isn't a lot of others abilities that I want. We can take the exemple of Stark who can fight against a lot of people with just his armor.
I only need to be able to survive against anyone, I don't want to be able to obliterate anyone in front of me with just a snap of a finger... Where is the fun here? So a limitation is not so bad.
Furthermore, I have enough time to prepare my fight against really powerful opponents. So all is good for me.
The next few months of rest will be boring, I will exploit all this free time a develop my company and the mutant school. And if I want, I can fly a bit and see if I raid some labs...
I just need to wait for the avengers initiative to truly begin. And if stark need help maybe I can send some missiles to Obadiah Stane. It's if he really need help, I don't know the version of this universe like my hand, maybe the avengers will never be formed, who knows?
I will take a wait and see position. I am not a fame hungry hero that automatically need his spotlight. That's why I despise a bit superman and, he doesn't have any mask so everyone will want to trust him... Batman is as trustful as superman but he is researched by everyone because when he does thing, he does it well.
He tortures to have information where superman just wait for the villain to come and fight. But that's not important here, I don't even heard of superman for the moment, and if he was here we would know! Disrupting the flow of time just for a girl... So irresponsable.
The apocalypse  in my old world was so deadly because of some irresponsible people.
I really need friends, alone in my lab I'm slowly turning as a grumpy old man, unhappy about everything and criticizing everyone! But having friends is also complicated, I'm eleven but I have the mind of a man that see doomsday... And enough death to age prematuraly anyone.
Maybe captain America or Thor will understand me, let's wait and meet them before.
Eleven and I want to fight aliens, mutants and even gods. Kids nowadays!

Normally it's a daily chapter update, sometimes I can write more but other days I can't write any. Short chapters too. 
From the comments and reviews the story is too fast, so if you like slow-paced story you may not like this one. Also if you didnt watch the films, you will not understand some things.

Peter got to New-York in about an hour. Harry called his driver to pick Peter up from the airport and get him to his office.
On the way, Peter was reminding himself of the actions that happened in the Avengers movie.
"Ok... the invasion started because of Loki opening the portal on the top of Stark's tower which is located in the city center. Avengers were able to defend the city and most of the citizens, so if actions happen the way they did in the film, only the minor part of New-York will be affected. That's good, it means that Gwen's parents will be safe. Their house is quite far from the center. I just need to get all of my equipment ready and help Avengers to deal with Loki, as he will be the one protecting the equipment that's going to keep the portal open... but about the rocket?... The heads of S.H.I.E.L.D decided to launch a rocket into the city center to kill all of the aliens including citizens. If this happens I won't be able to stop it, I am not that powerful yet. The only thing I can do is to warn Tony so that he can redirect it right into Chitauri's spaceship, just like he did in the MCU"
(30 minutes later)
Peter got to his office and started preparing for the invasion. It was 6:30 p.m. already. He wore his suit and started checking his gadgets...
"Ok, so I have the regular web, electric-web, diamond-web (strong web), 3 electric-bombs, 1 gas-bomb, and Otto's harness. I should use the bombs wisely and only in critical situations. Regarding the gas-bomb, it's very powerful and can kill several people... maybe it will be strong enough for Loki to lose his consciousness." Peter started thinking.
He took all of his equipment, including the harness. Luckily for him, it was able to transform in a kind of metal backpack. It was very heavy for an average person, but not for him, as Peter could barely notice the weight difference between it and regular backpack. He decided to use the harness, as he knew that it might be very helpful in a battle like this. The tentacles are made of bullet-proof titanium, which is a metal that was used by Iron Man in the creation of his suits. It was strong enough to protect Spider-Man from Chirauri's lasers. Peter was also considering using it to fight with Loki if circumstances will be different and he would need to deal with the main villain himself. He knew that he had low chances against Loki in a 1 versus 1 fight, so he started listing Loki's abilities to remember what to be beware of.
"Loki... he is literally a God. He has superhuman strength, fast regeneration, superhuman agility and reflexes, telekinesis, and much more. Defeating him will be a huge challenge for me, I will only be able to hold him up for a little while when other heroes will be coming. But he will surely try to trick and lure me to his side, assuming that I will agree. That might be my only chance to attack him unexpectedly" Peter continued.
After getting all of his gadgets, Peter texted Harry and Gwen in the group chat, which they created when they arrived in Washington.
"Hi, I hope you had a good day! I just wanted to say that it was a false alarm, I came back from the police station and they said that they received notification as well, but when they came to the place no one was there. They said that they received multiple notifications of this kind today and that it's because of people not updating the software fo their security system. I'll do it right now and will probably come back at night"
When Peter when out from his new office he received a notification of the breaking news. He opened the link and played the broadcast.
"BREAKING NEWS! A large laser beam is seen in the city center on the top of the Stark Tower, it was launched just a few minutes ago and seems to open a kind of gap in the sky. Apparently, Tony Stark is giving us a new show, it's most probably going to be a presentation of his new suits which he said he started developing several months ago. As you can see, lots of people started gathering in the city center to witness this moment..."
"Battle of New-York begins..." Peter whispered in panic.

So I originally planned to just write chapters in this whenever I couldn't think of anything for the prequel I'm writing. However, now I can't think of anything for this, so there's a problem.

After the results of the previous chapter's poll, I was going to do the first arc inside the MCU.

However I don't feel it a good idea to spend money to rent the movies for reference. And the MCU Fandom Wiki isn't enough.

So instead I decided to go with the Agents of SHIELD's continuity, and just tie it in with the MCU more, but the three chapters I wrote for that didn't feel right. Being limited to the constraints of cannon makes it much harder to write, as I do not want to disrupt the entire timeline. 

For example I had planned (and wrote a chapter) following the pilot of the series, but since Regret has skill in both hacking and combat, it makes Sky useless, and she would then never join the team, causing the entire story to fall apart. 

Anyway, the only chapter I wrote that has little to no effect on the full timeline is the first one, which is more like a prologue. So, without further ado; Chapter 1:

—May 5th, 2012, Secret S.H.I.E.L.D. Facility—

Nicholas Joseph Fury was having a bad day. After the battle of New York concluded, Fury had expected things get back to normal, however normal is never really a thing for the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

With the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Facility destroyed, along with most of the Helicarrier and Manhattan, Fury had the most Paperwork to do in years. Including a letter to Senator Pierce, excusing the rudeness of the Avengers. Not to mention announcing to the world of the existence of the Avengers, which was entire other ordeal.

However, for Fury, the worst part of the previous day, was the loss of Phil Coulson. He already had the "Guest House" begin preparations for Project T.A.H.I.T.I. in hopes of bringing him back. 

"Director Fury, the 0-8-4 seems to be a person. Possibly a human, likely a Gifted." Maria Hill could be heard over Fury's comms.

"I'm on my way."

In a dimly lit room, with black walls, a metal table, and three metal chairs, two of which were occupied.

On one side of the table was a teenager with an all around incredibly androgynous appearance. They had a very slim/slender build, and shoulder length black hair, with bangs entirely covering their right eye. Both of their eyes are blood red. They wore black cargo pants and combat boots, along with a loose black trench coat over a long sleeved, dark grey shirt. They also have a white scarf wrapped around their neck.

On the other side was the Deputy Director Of Shield, Commander Maria Hill. The person with the second highest security clearance in the entire Department. 

"Let's see here." Hill said, lifting a clipboard off the table after the teenager finished writing on it.

"Name: Regret Sacrifice- This must be a joke right?" The teen shrugged. 
"Born December 24, 2000-" Wouldn't that make them only 11? Hill thought. 
"Age: 16- I'm sorry what?"

"What's wrong?" They asked

Hill couldn't just keep pausing, so she just continued reading aloud, disregarding how odd some of the things were. "Gender: N/A, Height: 180 cm, Weight: 54 kg, Place of Origin: Switzerland, Japan. Languages: Both American and British English, French, German, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Etc." 

"Is this all correct?"

They nodded.

*Knock, Knock*

A knocking sound was heard on the metal door, before Director Nicholas Fury entered the interrogation room.

Deputy Director Hill tried to hand him the clipboard but he only glanced at it and gave it back to her.

"What were you doing, falling out of the sky over restricted S.H.I.E.L.D. Airspace? And furthermore, how did you survive such a feat without even a scratch?"

"What if I told you, I have a- very unique, set of skills. Skills that I have acquired over a long career."

"I would think you were badly plagiarizing the movie Taken."

"Oh, so you have that here as well?"

"What do you mean by 'as well'?" Fury demanded.

"Oh... well I messed up a bit there didn't I? I guess I'll introduce myself for real this time. My name is Regret Sin, former Hero of another Earth."

As you can tell, it's pretty bad... I'm not good at characterizing/writing for characters that already exist. I'm just going to stick what I'm good at and go back to my prequel. The prequels are always better anyways...

"Wait...Wait...WAIT! Crystal come back right now! What does that mean?!?!?" Peter screamed out as Ben poked his head out of the cockpit to look at his friend screaming into thin air.

(A few minutes earlier)

Peter raised an eyebrow behind his mask as he asked Crystal to clarify what she just said. After having a well deserved rest, it felt like an eternity had passed before he woke up. Crystal had informed him that they were only 30 minutes away from Wakanda and closing fast. 

But it was as he was thinking about seeing Wakanda for the first time that she had mentioned something had happened in New York. To say that he was fearful would be an understatement. This was what he feared the most, someone causing trouble in New York while he was gone. 

'It had only been 2 days! Could the Rhino have popped up again?! Electro! Scorpion! Tombstone?! The possibilities were endless! Maybe a new villain all together!'  Peter's thoughts were all over the place that he missed what Crystal said the first time. 

"Sorry Crystal could you please repeat that." He could have sworn that he felt crystal roll her eyes at his words, but he couldn't be sure as she replied. "I said, while you've been gone a certain few things have happened in New York. The Avengers took on a group of mutants in one of the city blocks."

'At least the Avengers handled the situation. But a group of mutants, he would ask her more about them later…for now.' "Were there any casualties? Damage? Was it bad?" Crystal gave a quick reply with a bit of care in her words. "No Peter, other than wrecked buildings, no one was hurt." Peter let out a small sigh of relief at the words relaxing back in his chair. 

Just as he was contemplating how New York was always a magnet for such super powered battles, Crystals next words made him sit bolt right up. "Though the damage lead to some interesting results, once you get back I can't wait to see your reaction. I wonder what face you'll make when you find out." "Wait….what?" Crystals snickering voice sounded out before their connection cut off and then there was silence. "Don't worry, I'll make sure to record every second."

(Present)

Turning around in his rant, Peter caught sight of Ben as he looked at him from the cockpit, with a weird expression on his face. Peter stilled as he locked eyes with the lovable lug. Lowering his hands and realizing that Crystal won't answer his question no matter what, his shoulders slumped and he fell back in his chair, trying to hide some of the embarrassment that he felt. 

Ben retracted his head back into the cockpit after a few seconds without saying a word, as Peter's mind started to race a mile a minute! What had happened in New York! His mind quickly found a solution as he dug his phone out of his pocket and pulled up Google. 

Quickly doing a search for any information it came up with a single message. 'No internet connection found, please try again later.' Peter stopped dead at the words as he knew for a fact he could get a signal anywhere on the planet, thanks to... He stopped as he read the message underneath the first. 'Nice try Peter' 

"Dammit  Crystal!" Peter almost threw his phone to the ground at Crystal's trolling. It had happened a few times before, times when Crystal would prank him by withholding information. The good thing was, the information wouldn't put his life in danger, Crystal would never joke about his safety. The bad....It was sure to be embarrassing for him.

Peter's slump in the chair got even worse as he resigned himself to the impending doom he faced, even though he had just escaped Doom. 'Heh, villain joke.' Even his inner monologue couldn't keep the quiet pout off his lips. 

It was a few minutes later when Sue popped her head into the main area and called for Peter, finally snapping him out of his inner thoughts. "Hey Spidey, we got someone from Wakanda that wants to speak with you."

Peter begrudgingly got up as he moved to where the rest were situated, but there wasn't the usual pep in his step. The fantastic four had all crowded into the cock pit, Johnny still knocked out from the beating he took in Doom's castle. 

Sue was looking after him as a weaker than usual Reed and Ben flew the ship towards the specified coordinates. This had left Peter in the main cargo hold where he could get some peaceful sleep. The ship was surprisingly big, but after thinking about all the vibranium that Doom stole, it made sense.

As Peter walked into the cockpit, he couldn't help the small smile that came to his lips as he looked at the small hologram sitting in the middle of the control consol. Doom's ship was high tech, very high tech, making the hologram very life like. Peter was reminded of the holo projections from star wars as he looked at the woman sharing a smile back at him. 

With black braided hair pulled into a bun at the top, a pearly white smile and silver collar around her neck. Shuri's eyes lit up slightly as she looked at the Pen Pal she hadn't seen in over 2 years. She wore an orange vest over a traditional Wakanda black sleeveless shirt, which lead down to a bright sash around her waist. 

The outfit finished itself off with tight black leggings and boots; she waved happily as Peter walked into the room. "Hey Spidey." Peter knew she wanted to call him by his actual name, but didn't because of the others. His smile got just that bit wider as he got closer to the small hologram. 

"Hey Shuri. God it's been a long time, you look a lot smaller than I remember, I could have sworn you were taller." Shuri let out a small chuckle as she looked into his lenses. "And I remember you used to have normal looking eyes that didn't stretch over half your face, ogling too many women was it?" 

Peter snorted once and was going to continue the small banter, when he remembered that the Fantastic four were still in the same room. Turning to take a quick peek at them, Ben had a huge grin on his face as he watched what was happening, while Sue was also peeking in from where she was taking care of her brother. 

Reed was the only one not interested in the conversation and was instead looking intently at the clothes Shuri was wearing, his intelligent mind quickly taking notice of the fabric make, and tech he could just see next to her. 

Reed had done some research on the 3rd world country of Wakanda when Spider-Man had asked them to get vibranium back from Doom. His interest was piqued when he started to read up on vibranium, but everything he had read about the 3rd world country told him that they shouldn't have any high tech products or machinery. 

His brows furrowed as Shuri also realized that there were others present. She cleared her throat as she tapped on a small pad just out of sight of the hologram. "We'll talk later Spidey." Peter gave a small nod as he took one of the empty seats at the front. 

As Shuri began to type she talked to Reed who was flying the ship. "We've picked up your ship coming in on our sensors. We just had to make sure it was you guys, before giving you entry, we don't want to accidentally shoot you down..." But she grumbled under her breath as she tapped out a few more keys. "..Though Crystal informed us, but everyone wants to be sure anyways."

No one said anything to her mumbling as she finished typing something in and turned back to them. "We've sent two aircraft's to guide you in, just follow them and they'll take you to where you'll be landing." 

Reed continued to say nothing as Shuri mention things that Wakanda, a 3rd world country, should not have, and no sooner had Shuri's words faded than the equipment on board let them know 2 other air craft's were flanking them. 

They had literally appeared from nowhere and if Shuri hadn't let them know, Reed would have been scared out of his mind, along with the rest of them. 'Do they have a type of stealth technology? No that's not possible.' 

Reed carefully guided the ship between the two new air crafts as they got closer to their destination, but before their eyes all they could see where mountain ranges and no sign of civilization. Reed was beginning to question where Wakanda really was, when the two ships at the side accelerated and suddenly flew right into a mountain!

Everyone but Peter gasped as they watched the suicidal move. Ben was about to shout a warning to Shuri who had a mischievous expression on her face, when the crafts suddenly went straight into the mountain and disappeared from their radars. 

Reed slowed the aircraft for a second and was going to pull up, but steeled himself and followed behind the two aircraft's.  Though his blood pressure went up a little gong straight through the mountain, it was the sight behind it that truly got his heart pumping. 

If he wasn't flying the ship he would have stood up to get a better look at the sight before him, coincidentally Peter, Sure and Ben had all stood up to marvel at the sight before them. With huge sky scraper like buildings, large fields and technology that some of them had never seen before and a fricking gigantic panther statue off to the side! Shuri's voice sounded out in the new found silence. 

"Welcome to Wakanda!" 

Everyone turned to look at her smug expression for a second before turning back to look at the sight before them. Reed couldn't help but think on sentence as he took the sight in. "3rd world country...bullshit."

Ben was the first to say anything as they flew to their destination. "Damn." Peter also nodded his head, having seen all this for the first time as well. "Yeah....Damn." 

Shuri's smile got just a smidgen wider as she heard Peter's words.

Peter Parker, Spider-Man has lost it all. All he has left is his Duty. He will protect the city, till his dying breath.

A few months after the battle of New York, Peter gets by living on the streets. His only friend a red haired woman named Natasha. 
With people from his past turning up, new Super Heroes appearing everywhere and mutants on the rise, will his life continue to spiral out of control? Or will something turn him around and make him the man he always was?

I’m writing this novel for fun so there is no release schedule. All chapters will fluctuate in length depending on many factors. I am writing an original for my main story and this is just a side project so there is no overarching plot going forwards just an imagination of the marvel landscape with different changes. 

This novel will follow the MCU timeline with changes such as the introduction of greater marvel characters and groups, fluctuation in ages, and comic alterations.

I hope you enjoy this re-imagining.

<Flashback 2 months after waking>


Thomas's mother had just gotten home from work. Felicia had walked into the living room and sees her dad sitting on a recliner. Walter was watching TV. 


Felicia: "So how was he?"


"Oh he's been a good kid. He's been doing his schoolwork on the computer. I don't know why your homeschooling him." he said as he looks at his daughter. Felicia shakes her head.


Felicia: "Dad have you looked at the world today we got supervillains coming out the woodwork and criminals that get  their hands on tech they're not supposed to have. If you ask me it's safer here than out there." Felicia walks over to the couch and flops down on it.


Walter: "And you don't want him going to those academies why? They'd teach skills that he could use." 


Walter got up walking into the kitchen coming back with a bottle of beer and a glass of wine, offering it to his daughter. She takes it gladly.


Felicia: "He's semi normal enough and im trying to keep it that way as much as possible. No shield academy, no avengers academy. None of them at all, and i don't think I can put him in public schools either. Too damn smart. He's already at high school standards." Walter laughed.


Walter: "Maybe we should teach him the family trade." He pulls out a laptop and clicks on a file. 


Felicia: "No he is going to be normal not a thief, not a hero or villain. Shit look at the heroes they barely get any down time."  She sips her wine.

Walter: "Check this out sweetheart." Walter hits play on a video file. "I told him he couldn't have any cookies until after dinner." The camera was showing the whole kitchen. The cookie jar was on top of a tall refrigerator next to a tall counter. Thomas walks into the kitchen while looking for grandpa. He didn't see him or hear him so he walked over the counter it was 2 inches taller than him. He grabs ahold of the ledge lifts himself onto the counter walks over to the fridge. Which he still couldn't reach the top of. He opens a cabinet and climbs up a little being careful. He was barely able to open the cookie grab two cookies close it climb down and make it look like nothing happened. 


"...." felicia sighs and laughs "It's in his blood huh?" Walter chuckles. 


Walter: " you know what he said when i asked him if he wanted a cookie." He looked at Felicia, she nodded with a gesture of go ahead


Walter:  "No i don't want one i'll wait for desert." Felicia laughs.


Walter: "Well at least he's smart enough to say no." 


Thomas comes walking in and sees his mom and charges over. He tackle hugs his mother making her almost spill her wine.


Thomas: "Mom your back!"


He says squeezing her and then lets go. Walter quietly and quickly changes the screen. On the TV the news came on.


Felicia: "So Thomas have you been a good boy?" He nods. 


Felicia: "How do you like your classes?"


Thomas: "They're fun but i don't like history." Felicia smiles and glances at her dad.


Felicia: "And why is that?"  Walter looks amused. 


Thomas: "Its fake." Both his mother and grandpa looked surprised.


Walter: "Why do you say that?" Walter gave Thomas a curious look.


Thomas: "History is written by the victor. Momma do you think the winners would have the losers or anyone else talk bad about them?" Felicia looked at her dad speechless. 


News: "THIS JUST IN! TONY'S. STARK'S SUITS HAVE BEEN HACKED" It then states what people should do in this emergency, then the news said they'd talk about the dangers of hackers and hacking later.


Thomas: "Mom what's hacking?"  Felicia sighs and starts to explain what it is.


Thomas: "Can you teach me?" Grandpa Walter looks at his daughter and laughs.


Walter: "It really does runs in the family!" Felicia sighs and nods.


Felicia: "I might as well teach you everything else too, and don't think your getting out of this too old man you'll teach him too."

This is my first work ever. so i thought hey fanfiction should be fun. so i went for marvel so heres hoping that you'll find what i will do with the world interesting. think small changes big impact. 

This story is about Felicia Hardy's son that peter never knew about. Thomas P Hardy. There will be romance, action, stan cameos, dp refrences, and much more. as it is im of the opinion the mc can be op but after much hardship. But the question is to harem or not? we will see as it plays out.

I probably should mention that any characters or character resemblances i do not own and is strictly owned by marvel, dc, whateves this is purely fanfiction.

In a blink, three-weeks had passed.



Daily bugle had it out for the friendly neighborhood spider man. Peter Parker metamorphosis wasn't only physical but mental as well. Soon, news travelled around that peter Parker, Uncle Ben had passed, murdered by Flint Marko who would later become a formidable human-mutate and member of the Sinister Six. Thereafter, Harry Osborne, son of billionaire CEO Oscorp Industries demeanor and personality started to shift, he theorized his father was already being chastised by the military to reinvent  the SSS (super-soldier-serum), that  created  Captain America.

Minor events began to happen more sporadically. Newspapers begun to write alarming headlines; well alarming to the normal populace. Cole had his ears and nose out for any sign of the start of major events; events that will lead to the Avengers and/or Fantastic Four.

He had already begun operations thwarting the Hand. He also wasn't alone out there, others were fighting against them. New vigilante, people he hadn't heard of. In his persinal pursuits he came in contact with a man by the alias as The Broker; for a fee the man would sale anything, and with the much-needed boost in his intel Cole became a hard to remove thorn in the palm of The Hand.

He had just received some off-putting news; Rand Enterprises and The Hand were synonymous, all but one of there executives of the multi-billion dollar company weren't a Hand operative. Also, there wasn't any news of the missing CEO Danny Rand. Just  what Marvel verse was he in? 

He was an outlier of the continuity, he wasn't key nor a reason to the major events. Every action on his part was as minuscule as raindrops in the ocean. This verse could only be described pf an amalgamation of hundreds, even thousands of marvel earths. That rationale came to him quite quickly, one he eagerly embraced.

~Harlem, New York.  Present Time

Carl 'Boss' Thomas rubbed his tender throat. He was thankful the 'Red Hood' was merciful. Spread out around the drug house his men, They were thoroughly  broken and defeated. And that person  did ithis singlehandedly was staring off into space, unconcerned about disarray around him. He inwardly cursed his damnable luck,  Tombstone won't like this; he won't like this at all. This was his most prosperous drug house. 

"Kid," he managed to wheeze out as his throat burned. The man blinked then stared at him in a way that made him want to push his back further into the wall. He, like everyone else heard the rumours of the Red teenage vigilante, but seeing him, witnessing his prowess perisnally made the stories lackluster. Another mutant,  there has been a lot of talk about them on the streets, even if the media barely mentioned the stories, the streets would still talk.

"This House is under Tombstone protection, " he wheezed. Only a fool would make a play against him. I know you're one of those mutants. I've heard about you. The word on the streets  is nobody can put you down, they say you and that big bullet proof brother in Harlem are almost alike. Tombstone, he's like you two, twice a bad, and equally stronger." He said with difficulty.

Big bulletproof Brother? Luke Cage is active. Interestingly. "Tombstone!" His voice came out distorted. "That's good you heard of him, this makes what I'm trying to say much simpler. Listen, you're fucked. He will come for you, your friends, their friends and then your family; hopefully, you don't have a pretty mother or sister, hate to see a debt placed on their heads because of your sense of duty and justice." He laughed at the end.

Cole regarded the man for two minutes before the two duffel bags in his hands vanished and his trademark 9mm Glock materialized in their place. The man gloating eyes vanish as he just witness first hand a mutant ability, that was unbelievable! Out of thin air. He could do a lot with such an ability..

Before Carl could utter another word two guns shot thundered inside the room. Cole had shot  him in both his kneecaps. He hated men like him the most, smug, remorseless, unrepentant. The  man roared out in pain and fell on his side in agony.

"Tell him to expect me." he flung his hand out, a batarang pierced the wall above the screaming drug dealer head. He turned and walked in the way he came,  through the front. The door was half its hinges and half across the floor. He didn't even bother to move around the thugs nor the junkies, he simply walked over them.

'Tombstone. He actually knew a lot about the man, he was actually capable of being a heavy-hitter, quite similar to Luke Cage in the strength department, the man did take on Spider-Man, he even held some wins under his belt.'

Under the backdrop of night sky Cole slowly walked toward a vacant lot, between two burnt husks that were once houses. He pressed a small remote on his watch and miraculously a solid matte black motorcycle cloaked under advanced form of camouflage appeared. He had purchased it from the shop for $17,500. MV Augusta F4 Veltro Pista. It had some slight changes; he had also purchased a stealth-mode, [Depleted] promethium-titanium hull and other minor changes that wouldn't cost much.

His inner ear chirped, he had a call.


"Speak!"He demanded.


"Saugerties Township. Yanzy & Co. Docking. Time of exchange is midnight." Said whisper like voice of the  Broker.


"Listen boy wonder; I'm done after this. You're becoming to hot of a commodity on the streets, multiple parties are searching for you; the worst of them by far is The Hand, they also placed two separate bounties on your head, one is for general information; my area, the other is for your head!" Said the Broker.


The line grew silent. "You got twelve-hours! That's  me showing you professional courtesy. It's a pity you never let me in on your contacts. I would probably be out of business if you got into the information game," he laughed. "Nevertheless, we did good business."



"Nothing personal, it's  just business!" He said smugly. 


"I'll be seeing you soon, Broker." Cole voice reverberated through the line.


The broker chuckled. "Is that a threat? Listen you just cost  yourself Six hours. Everything I know about you will be available for those who can pay. Remember, you came to me for information knowing our partnership on business and my convenience. Farewell. I doubt we'll meet again." The line became static before the call dropped dead.


It was a eventuality he was prepared for. The Broker was a opportunist, though Cole shared intelligence with him as a form payment and as a means to foster business relationship, he wasn't under any illusions of friendship. He had warned the man, it was up to him to take it seriously.  He released  his helmet and stood up on his bike. He brushed his shoulder length hair back and breathe in the crisp air of the night.

Silently, he sped away from the scene. It was still early, and he had another stop. It was happening tonight. He had Six hours before the Broker information on him would become a hindrance.  He soon made it to interstate. With the throttle wide open, he sped toward his destination, like a bat out of hell.

Cole Stephens, a unmentionable man from earth perishes only to awaken inside the body of a recently deceased teen. He quickly learns he has been transplanted into the Marvel Universe with a system.

I’m not a writer; this is for fun and self-improvement, please exit stage left if you’re looking for some Game of Throne type of storyline or to self impose your own beliefs or direction of the story, go write your own.

The next day was really weird for Jake. Tony came to the kitchen that morning and told Jake that he could continue with school. He explained that he'd taken some precautions that would allow Jake to continue with his school life for now.

When he saw that Jake was still hesitant to go back when it could potentially put his friends in danger Tony explained that the precautions also extended to his friends.

After the weekend Jake resumed school as if nothing had happened. The group were really excited to have him back at school as well. Felicia seemed especially happy as she hugged him when he entered the classroom tightly while whispering into his ear.

"That's twice you've saved me monkey. I'll have to return the favor sometime." She released her hug and walked back to the group.

'Damn... I'm glad Peter said something. I must've been an idiot not to notice the flirting.'

As to how she knew about the events in question.

The Bugles news station had done a story on Spider-Mans fight inside a warehouse on the docks. They claimed Spider-Man was working for a group of organ harvesters.

It was a very crazy conclusion, but this is the bugle we're talking about. The photos they showed were of Spider-Man fighting the rhino and scorpion. In one of the used photos it showed Jake in the background strapped to the table. The surgical tools above him portrayed a dark scene to the picture as they were half lowered with a saw spinning.

A fan of Tony's from a local news station actually recognized his new ward strapped to the table and realized it could be a scoop. She showed up at Tony's gates requesting an interview on Saturday.

Tony was about to send her away before Jake stopped him. After explaining his idea to Tony he agreed to let the woman interview Jake.

Jake described to the woman how the scorpion had kidnapped his friends and demanded he come quietly. How Spider-Man had noticed while patrolling and followed from a distance.

He may have embellished a bit about how Spider-Man hacked into his friends cell doors to free them before stopping the surgical tools from dissecting Jake, but who cares.

The news reporter seemed to be on the verge of tears when Jake told of how Spider-Man was being squeezed to death by the rhino, but visibly brightened when he retold his beating of the rhino and scorpion. 

The woman promised to share the full story to clear Spider-Mans good name and the story was shown on the news the next day. The woman was actually promoted to head anchor of the news station as well.

The public was also showing some slight outrage towards The Daily Bugles slander of a hero who almost died to save a bunch of kidnapped high schoolers. The bugle published an apology that didn't seem sincere at all, but the public seemed content with it.

Flash also seemed to be excited that Jake had returned to school. He walked over and put an arm over Jakes shoulders while pulling him close.

"Jake!!! Thanks for doing right by spidey. Those jerks at the bugle made him look like a creep, but I knew that spidey would never do what they said. He's the best hero so he couldn't have done those things."

After Flash's continued tirade about The Daily Bugle being run by an evil villain that Spider-Man must have foiled in some way, the rest of the group got to welcome Jake back.


2 WEEKS LATER

Jake is pretty sure what precautions Tony took to keep him in school now. The first hint was when he realized someone was constantly following him day to day. It would start when he left the house up until he got to school. It would continue from when he left school until he returned home.

The next clues were his teachers. One or two teachers going into retirement randomly is quite possible, but three teachers winning the lottery is a bit of a stretch.

The final clue drove the nail into the coffin when he showed up for home room one day and realized that the new teacher was Natasha Romanov. The beautiful red head was dressed in a sharp looking blue suit with a short skirt. She wore her hair up in a bun and had on a pair of glasses.Their previous teacher had apparently quit because of personal issues. 

After the class ended all the students started filing out of the room when black widow stopped Jake. She shut the door after the last student left and turned to him.

"I'm sorry Mr. Hawk, but you seem familiar. Have we met before?"

"I don't think so ma'am." 

"Hmmm... Well, okay then. You're free to go." She pulled the door open and let Jake leave the classroom.

'Weird. The kid definitely recognized me, but how?'

He now knew that shield was most likely protecting him and if that was the case it must've meant that Tony had made some sort of deal with them. It most likely meant that the events that brought together the avengers were taking place. Which meant that the attack on New York was creeping closer.

Jake D. Hawk born with a chronic illness passes away in his sleep one Saturday afternoon. The god of reincarnation calls his soul to his realm out of pity to be reborn in the marvel universe. When Jake tells the god he wishes to be just like luffy from one piece the god takes it quite literally and gives him luffys power of the gum gum fruit. Follow Jake as he tries to survive the marvel universe while using his new devil fruit powers.
