Part 6:
Picture the sun rising on a beautiful, clear morning. We see it slowly peeking out over the 
horizon. As time passes it becomes more noticeable, the heat increases, the light becomes 
stronger until it is fully visible, a ball of light casting its intense glow over everything. 
The earth awakens each day to this light; plants grow and life is sustained. In much the same 
way, the Son rises in our hearts. We accept him into our lives and he progressively over-
comes the darkness of our old lives, lives without him and full of self. As bits of this dark-
ness are forced away through our increasing knowledge of him, the Son blazes forth, in ever 
greater intensity, into our everyday lives. We become partners with him as we become more 
and more aware of his power in us.
I believe the Bible calls us to this progression of experienced power when it says, 
"Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14, NIV). 
We see in this verse a wonderful promise of seeing Jesus Christ work in and through our 
lives and circumstances. When Christ shines on the life of the believer, things happen!
Our focus here is on spiritual power. There are many kinds of power: secular, po-
litical, physical, informational, and even personal. However spiritual power, God's power 
imparted to us by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, trumps all other power whether it be 
earthly power or other supernatural power. 
More and More
The Son-powered life is Christ, the power of God, living in and through us. However, know-
ing this fact and experiencing the reality of that relationship are two different things. The 
Son-powered life begins at the moment of spiritual birth and develops as we cultivate ourrelationship with Christ. We learn to trust Christ daily to live his life in and through us.
As I've spent time studying God's Word, I have found that many Scripture verses re-
late to one another even though they may be from different places in the Bible (this is one of 
the key principles of the Sonburst diagrams). One verse may tell us one thing and another 
verse amplifies that thought, principle, or picture of who God is or what he desires for our 
lives. When we actually put these verses together, we can see how God has woven his mes-
sage throughout the Bible. Here are several verses that illustrate this principle, particularly 
as it relates to experiencing Jesus Christ as our power.
In the Old Testament we read:
Lord … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!
 —Judges 5:31
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free." 
 —Malachi 4:2
And then Paul tells us in the New Testament:
I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in 
human wisdom but in the power of God.
 —1 Corinthians 2:4–5
But to those called by God to salvation … Christ is the power of God and the 
wisdom of God.
 —1 Corinthians 1:24
In these verses, we see a demonstration of God's power being brought to those that 
love him. As an added bonus, we also experience healing and freedom and salvation and 
wisdom. This is Son Power actively working in us and through us!
Paul tells us that this power, from God's unlimited resources, begins internally. A 
work must be done on the inside of us in order for this power to be properly operational. 
Our inner person must be strengthened by the Holy Spirit, so Christ can more fully possess 
our hearts and lives as we trust in him to do so. In this way, the roots of our spirit beings 
can grow deeply into the soil of God's love. As this happens, God can bring to perfection in 
us, the "fullness and power that comes from God." 
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creatorof everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimit-
ed resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then 
Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will 
grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to 
understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how 
deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to 
understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and 
power that comes from God.
 —Ephesians 3:14–19
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your 
hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus 
Christ.
 —1 Peter 1:13, ESV
As we grow in our relationship with Christ Jesus we experience not only more and 
more of him, but more and more of his love and power and grace in our daily lives.
Less and Less
As we experience more and more of Jesus in our lives, we also can start to happily experi-
ence less and less of self. In the book of John we read these words spoken by John the Bap-
tist, "He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less" (John 3:30). This 
process can take place without us noticing, but eventually we should see evidence of this 
occurring in our lives as we cultivate our relationship with Christ. This is literally the power 
of Christ beginning to permeate our entire life.
The object of our faith is critical. If we trust in the power of self to live the Christian 
life, we will fail. Self is always ultimately powerless. Self relies on the old "try harder self-ef-
fort" model and is intent on meeting the demands of the law through works. We try and 
try to do and be what God wants, but unfortunately, the flesh is incapable of satisfying the 
perfect, exacting demands of the law. However, when Christ is the object of our faith, we 
trust him to live his life in us and we accept his power to achieve it. As we learn to become 
less and less, Jesus Christ becomes more and more. 
Paul wrote to the Colossians, "For you died to this life, and your real life is hid-
den with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3). As our life becomes more and more "hidden in 
Christ," he takes increasing control. This happens while we progressively focus our attention 
on Jesus and his desires for us. The true ultimate goal for each one of us is to have a life com-
pletely hidden in Christ.Just as the sun rises daily to full strength, our desire as Christians is for the Son to rise in his 
full strength during our daily lives. This can only be accomplished by understanding and 
applying the truths of Scripture to our lives. Only God can command this light to shine out 
of our heart as we learn how to die to the three amigos of Me, Myself, and I. Only then can 
the life of Christ rise in us, bringing forth his power and beauty.
This is in harmony with the spiritual truth that he must become more and more, and 
I must become less and less.
Let's begin with the relationship verse: 
Lord, … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power! 
 —Judges 5:31
Do you see that key word right in the middle of the verse? Love. It is such a relation-
ship word! We love God … and he loves us as well. And it is because of his love that we have 
the promise that we can rise in power. God also uses his love as a vehicle of change in the 
life of a believer. He loves us, and when we accept his love, it creates in us a desire to knowwho is doing the loving. Wow, the Creator of the universe loves me! This love is what mo-
tivates us to do what God wants us to do. It is cultivated by sowing into our hearts the idea 
that God loves us, and allowing his love to grow into our lives, the new life which Christ has 
given us.
What we learn about our relationship with God leads us to a new revelation about 
what he is and how we are to interact with him:
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free."
 —Malachi 4:2
One key principle we learn from this verse is that because of our relationship with 
God, we fear him. But what does it mean to fear God? One of the ways to describe it is to 
say that we become in complete awe of our heavenly Father. We respect and revere who God 
is and his authority over all of creation. 
As we embrace God's authority over us, we also experience freedom. How can this be? 
It is precisely because of Christ's power rising more into our everyday lives, that we are free. 
We embrace Christ in us and God's authority over us, and we experience the freedom that 
God so graciously gives us. Free from the past, free from the law, free to experience all that 
God has for us, free to make a difference in the world. 
This leads us to reflection:
Prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in 
the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the 
world.
 —1 Peter 1:13
Prepare your mind for action and exercise self-control … think about those words for 
a moment! What would happen in your life if you really applied those words to your life? 
Because of your freedom in Christ, you are not only free, but also full of the power of the 
Holy Spirit. Look at the verbs in this verse: prepare, exercise, hope, come, revealed. As you 
fix your mind on the gracious salvation of Jesus Christ you will be empowered to go out and 
do the work God has for you.
And this leads us directly to redemption:Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message pro-
claimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for 
their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and 
Christ the Morning Star [Jesus] shines in your hearts.
 —2 Peter 1:19
This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible because it is filled with potential for 
both this world and the world to come. We pay attention to the Word of God because it tells 
us how to achieve our ultimate goal. We live in a darkened world. When we pay attention to 
the Word of God it provides light in a world that desperately needs it. The sun scatters the 
darkness. 
As Christ the Morning Star rises in our hearts, he scatters the darkness revealing 
what needs to be corrected in our lives. In addition, he imparts his life and empowers us to 
overcome wrongful desires and pursue his goodness. The Morning Star symbolizes hope 
and guidance. The morning star is the brightest star in the sky at dawn. I like to think that 
as Christ, the Morning Star, rises in our hearts, he brings healing to our inner person, 
strengthening us, enlightening us, showing us where we need to conform more with his 
will, and showing us just what it is he wants us to do. Such revelations bring joy and peace 
to us as we bring our lives in conformance with his will. The Son rises in our hearts and 
continues to empower us to not only grow in our relationship with God but to accomplish 
his will.
This brings us full circle to relationship where we in-
crease our love for God and desire to have him rise in our lives 
like the sun, fully powerful and fully effective.
It is important that our hope rests on the gift of grace 
that is brought to us by the revelation of Christ. He will illu-
mine things for us both in this world and the world to come as 
we pay attention to the Son Power at work in us.

Dear Z and A,
I know you two have a lot on your plate. But I hope you find time to study this. I offered L to send him some of my sermon notes so that he can peruse it as it seems that giving him this information would be extremely beneficial for the future. But he rejected it.
He said that he would rather listen to me speak about it personally. Apparently, he wants to believe in it and given his intellectual bias, he may turn deaf ears to the lessons in my notes. He wanted to not only know of what I know but have a chance in believing and he hopes that listening to me would do far more benefit than just reading some letters. I understand his intentions. The best way to learn about something is to believe in it. So he suggested having a personal meeting. I'm wanted to conduct a Bible study but with the way things are now, I guess it will have to wait.
Z, I hope our previous discussions from so long ago, (it feels like it's been another lifetime, right?) have somehow created a foundation of belief. Perhaps what had happened to you is one of the miracles that the Almighty allowed. I firmly believe this. So I am hoping this letter would allow you to better understand what actions to take and that you could pass this information along to anyone who you think could help in this. You have been taking the right steps and I guess it would be attributed to our talks from long ago.
Anyway, here is the draft of a conference message I've prepared to give on one of our upcoming Bible Conferences. Perhaps this may give you some insight on what to do with your life and how you can be of benefit to the lives of others.
Also, that kid from Psalms 1 might also benefit from reading this. I have a feeling that he wouldn't want to attend a Bible study hosted by me because of our 'conflicting' methods.

A Study on Typology (I will be discussing more of this during the Bible Study and explain the key aspects in detail. Treat this study as a primer for the things to be discussed soon.)
Prophecy has always been something that people found intriguing and mystifying.
The Bible contains the most prophecies that have been accurately fulfilled in human history.
For example, the prophecy on Tyre in Ezekiel 26…
In that Prophecy, several prophetic elements that seem extremely unlikely to be fulfilled if we apply the science of probability. For the sake of time, I will only go over several key aspects of the Prophecies and will not deal with any other prophecies made against Tyre on other verses in the Bible.
I have selected five of the 'most intriguing' prophecies that were fulfilled right down to the dot and remind you, that the chapter consists of more elements that have been fulfilled.
As a background, Tyre as a city is composed of two parts. One city in the mainland, called 'Ushu' or Old Tyre, and another city built on a small island about half a mile away from the shore of Old Tyre. This city on the small island is commonly known as Tyre.
In Ezekiel 26, Tyre was supposed to be:
1.       Attacked by Nebuchadnezzar (v. 7)
2.       Attacked by "many nations" (v.3)
3.       The stone and timbers of this city would be thrown in the sea (v.12)
4.       Will be scrapped like a bare rock (v.4)
5.       The Ocean depths will rise over it (v.19)
A popular opinion regarding prophecies is that any prophecy may eventually be fulfilled as time pass by as the things that have been written may be fulfilled by chance. If Chapter 26 of Ezekiel talks about any city, with any conqueror, that is indeed true but this chapter exclusively talks about the city of Tyre.
This prophecy is not talking of any city. No, it's not the city of New Birth Forth or the City of World's Helm. It's taking about the city of Tyre.
And this city is to be attacked by Nebuchadnezzar. Not by Hitler, not by the Fire Nation, not by Team Rocket, but by Nebuchadnezzar. A specific person living in a specific time. And this city would also be attacked by many nations, its stone and timbers would be thrown in the sea and the city will be scrapped like a bare rock and that the Ocean will somehow rise over the city itself. It's interesting how specific it is.
Now, historically, the first aspect was easily fulfilled.
About a decade after the prophecy was believed to be written, Nebuchadnezzar attacked the city and we have evidence to support this historic fact. But Nebuchadnezzar was only able to conquer Old Tyre as the other city on the small island was naturally protected by the sea and Tyre had an impressive fleet of ships.
So none of the other prophecies were fulfilled. Numbers two to five on our prophecy list were not fulfilled during this attack.
Should we now mock the Bible for its inaccuracy?
Be aware, that the remaining clauses of this prophecy are almost impossible to fulfill.
Why would the city be attacked and someone would be so bored as to take the stones and timbers from the wrecked city and throw it on the ocean? Why would they do that to the point of scrapping the ruins of the city to a point that what remains will look like a bare rock? And how will the ocean rise over it?
The fulfillment of the other aspects of the prophecy occurred nearly 200 years later.
The Prophecy was written sometime on 587-586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar attacked it on 573BC, but the fulfillment of prophecy points numbers 2-5 would be on 332BC when a man who conquered nations led an army consisting of armies coming from different nations and attacked the very city of Tyre.
We know this man to be "Alexander the Great."
We know Alexander the Great would force another nation to submit and aid him in his conquest so many nations could easily be fulfilled at this point.
He led his armies and attacked Tyre, conquering Old Tyre once more. But this wasn't enough.
Tyre was arrogant and mocked Alexander for failing once more as the settlers have retreated to their city-island protected by their vast fleet of ships. Seeing as how Tyre remained safe like a turtle and having the sea as a natural barrier with a fleet of ships that even Alexander the Great could not easily destroy, Alexander and his armies came up with an ingenious plan.
A great task of building a man-made bridge from the coast of Old Tyre to New Tyre started. Alexander ordered his men to take the ruins of Old Tyre, throw it to the sea to build a bridge to which they can use to attack the city of Tyre.
In this, Prophecy points numbers 2-4 have been fulfilled. The prophecies which seem almost impossible actually happened.
Many nations came, attacked Tyre, took the ruins of the city and threw it to the ocean to make a small bridge, scrapping Old Tyre like a rock.
But what about number 5?
Well, because of the man-made bridge which supported and allowed Alexander to send his armies to attack Tyre, the topography of the island changed making the bridge leading to Tyre into a peninsula which exists to this day. Because of this change which led to a massive geographic change on the area, the location of the Old Tyre was eventually buried by sand and water ultimately, burying the location of Old Tyre underwater forever.
God sent Nebuchadnezzar and later fulfilled it some 200 years later in the person of Alexander the Great. But the last bit of prophecy would be fulfilled about a thousand years later as the coastline of Tyre changed because of the man-made bridge of Alexander.
Now you calculate the odds of this prophecy being fulfilled? What other nation, since 587 BC, was named Tyre, attacked by a Nebuchadnezzar and later by many nations, and apparently, the entire city structure is thrown to the sea, scraped like bare rock, and later sinks to the ocean? What are the odds of that happening? And remember, I haven't listed ALL the prophecies that Tyre is supposed to fulfill!
Now this may come as an intriguing historical study, but the reason I'm discussing Tyre is to formally challenge whether or not this Prophecy would have only ONE fulfillment or will it be fulfilled again? What if, the verses in the Bible may be foreshadowing something that will happen in the future.
Now, let me clarify, I honestly believe that in Ezekiel 26, most of the prophecies written there have already been fulfilled. What I'm saying, is that we open our exegesis to the possibility that it could be fulfilled again!
How would something that had literally happened be fulfilled again? To argue, I would like to point you to the study of Eschatology, or the interpretation of the End of Times. We call it the Apocalypse, the Last Days and so on. Many camps and theological schools all have different opinions and interpretations as to their fulfillment. And throughout the course of history, there have been several interpretations which the people of that time were sure of because it made sense.
During the time of Apostolic era, if you read the Book of Revelation, you would say, the anti-Christ is Rome.
Hundreds of years later, Martin Luther made the same conclusion during the Reformation period. Their study of the Word led to this conclusion.
Back in World War 2, everyone believed that the Anti-Christ was Hitler. The Jews who suffered so much would certainly think so as well.
During World War 3, everyone then blamed Graden Pouterfisx to be the Anti-Christ as it led to the further destruction of Israel.
Right now, because of the Australian Avarice, many even say that Australia is the Anti-Christ.
And for the Australian natives of today, they would say, Harker or that gamer-turned-terrorist Lowengren is the Anti-Christ. (Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised.)
Others believe, that it's the World Governing Powers, and still some point to that miraculous E-Sport Gamer, Seeker Carlean to be the Anti-Christ as he must have sold his soul to the devil to be that good in Piercing! (Z, as you noticed, I like to add current events like this as a sermon illustrations to draw attention to the younger audience. It really makes most gamers listen to my sermon if I mention famous e-sport players.)
And quite honestly, except those saying its Seeker, the rest had a valid reason to claim that this was the Anti-Christ as they displayed a shocking level of depravity, wickedness, and immorality.
Are we to assume that they were all wrong? Perhaps… Or maybe perhaps from Hitler, all the way to the Australian Avarice, they have been "Types" or signs that will simply point us to a Final Anti-Christ. Perhaps, God, in order to constantly remind us that His Word is True and indeed miraculous, has destined history, as written in the Bible to have several fulfillments, many of which are partial fulfillments or foreshadowing to a final fulfillment?
And it is in this vein, that we find ourselves in the study of Typology.
Typology is the study of signs, symbols and the interpretation of Types.
Let me take a positive example to further cement my case…
You've heard me say several times that I say Samuel in the book of 1 Samuel of a "typology" or a sign that points to Jesus. In many ways, an appropriate approach would be to read 1 Samuel with the assumption that Samuel foreshadows Jesus.
If we go to the prophecy in 1 Samuel 2, God got angry at the current High Priest, Eli, and prophesied to Eli that Eli's lineage would-be priest who wouldn't reach old age and that their line would stop serving in the altar. After that, God gave this prophecy in 1 Samuel 2:35,
"I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always."
Now the immediate assumption as to the fulfillment of this prophecy, if we follow that story, is that we would assume it to be fulfilled through the priest to Samuel. Samuel took over when Eli died, he ministered faithfully and replaced the line of Priest that served in Israel.
According to the Bible, we do not have any records of Samuel ever committing sin, and even on his death, he challenged Israel of this, to which Israel responded that they have noted no sin in Samuel's lifetime. If you think David had a magnificent title, "a man after God's own heart," consider Samuel's title. A man who will do according to God's own heart and mind.
But on the other hand, many would challenge that this verse does not refer to Samuel but to Jesus because of the clause that this priest will "minister before God's anointed ones, always." Which basically implies this priestly line will forever serve God. And only Jesus could fulfill this role.
My interpretation and I hope this congregation's interpretation and conviction, would be that this verse was fulfilled in two ways.
Samuel was the initial fulfillment and is a typology to the final fulfillment, which is Jesus.
The Bible has been doing this several times and using a certain Old Testament verse and make it a sign that eventually points to Jesus. In other words, these verses have more than one fulfillment.
A partial fulfillment of the sign in the form of Samuel, a righteous Priest who was impeccable in actions and wisdom, and later the Great High Priest that we have in Jesus.
1 Samuel also introduces David, a typology of Jesus in the areas of being a King.
But of course, this alone could not be supporting evidence for my theory in the study of Typologies. So let's take a look at another interesting and puzzling verse which shows a unique example of a typology.
We go to Hosea 11:1 and find an interesting phrase here that was used by the Gospel writer Matthew.
"Out of Egypt, I called my Son."
This is a strange verse to use because mainly, according to the context of Hosea 11:1, the son here refers to the nation Israel. Why did Matthew later use this verse to mean Jesus? We all stand with the idea that the Holy Scripture is inerrant. So why would Matthew, in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, use this verse in its wrong context?
My answer is Typology.
Let us first analyze what's going on in Matthew.
Joseph and Mary had escaped from Bethlehem because of Herod. They lived in Egypt and waited for Herod to die. Upon Herod's death, Joseph returns to Israel and so, Matthew summarizes it in verse 15 of chapter 2, And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."
Matthew quotes Hosea 11:1 and immediately assumes that this is speaking of Jesus when in actuality, the context rules that we so hardly adhere to, dictates that Hosea 11 is talking about the nation Israel!
Typology easily resolves this issue. If we are to assume that Israel has always been a typology of Jesus, a temporary sign and can have more than one fulfillment in the great passage of time, we can then easily accept this verse.
By accepting that Israel in Hosea 11, represents Jesus, we can actually see that in many ways Israel did foreshadow Jesus.
Jesus, like Israel, stays in Egypt and leaves to return to the Promised Land. Jesus, Like Israel, is sent to the wilderness to spend a passage of time connected with the number of 40. Israel spent 40 years wandering in the desert, Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
The Gospel records that Jesus was sent to the wilderness to be tempted and tried, wasn't this the case for Israel?
And isn't it interesting, that in the famous encounter between Jesus and the Devil in that same wilderness where Israel was tested, Jesus answered the Devil quoting verses from the book of Deuteronomy?
Deuteronomy discusses most of the consequences that Israel suffered because they failed. In this Typology, Jesus acts as the perfect version of Israel. He goes out of Egypt, is tempted by the devil in the wilderness exposing Him to hunger, thirst, and the danger of being killed by wild animals.
In Israel's hunger, they complained to God, and the reluctant response of God was to send Manna from heaven, Satan uses this same strategy and tells Jesus to make stone bread, but Jesus quotes from Deuteronomy saying that man shall not live by bread alone.
Jesus fasted in that 40 days in the desert. The Israelites feasted with unlimited manna and even by sending birds which the Israelites can easily capture and eat. I can go on and on, but if you analyze the remaining challenges that Satan poised to Jesus, we find that the Israelites actually failed on all of these temptations. In fact, I would go as far to say that the temptations Jesus faced and the temptations Israel faced were roughly the same!
But it doesn't stop here, if you've read through the Bible, you will know that the moment Israel finally enters the Promised Land, you'll be reading through the Book of Joshua. And in Hebrew, the name for Joshua is Yeshua, the very same name to which we translate the Name, Jesus!
So Joshua becomes a typology, a foreshadowing that the book of Joshua will also repeat in history. We've already seen hints of that! That scene in Joshua 10 where kings in their retreat hid in caves to flee from Israel. Is this not the same vivid imagery explained in the book of Revelation which will be the scene when Jesus returns?
At this point, I argue, that perhaps in the dogmatic ways of our interpretation of Scripture, we have long set aside the possibility that if the Bible is promised to be the Word of God, Inerrant, relevant and true, then would it not be true for all ages? Is it possible to see this foreshadowing's again and again?
I will not be surprised, ladies and gentlemen, that in the near future, the very events we read in the book of Revelation will become a typology! A sign that we may soon see, in anticipation of the Second Coming!
We have long interpreted the book of Revelation and its various events to have passed! How many writers and Bible teachers have risen up to explain how World War Three fulfilled many of the verses in Revelation.
I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm saying they could be right. But in this sense, that what they explained are but typologies and these signs that may repeat itself unto final fulfillment.
So read the Book of Revelation! Read the book of Joshua! Read the Book of Daniel! Of Zacharias, of the many verses and the many books in the Bible which speaks or alludes to the coming end!
We could all come witness to various typologies of events that will have its ultimate fulfillment when Christ return. As for me, I may sound insane, but with the recent events that have been happening, I am certain now, we will bear witness to many foreshadowing's itself! Make no mistake!
Perhaps, in the coming days, chaos will be revealed. And perhaps, in the coming days, someone will rise up perhaps as another foreshadowing of Jesus who will appear in Power and Might! Perhaps, in the days to come, you will all see the Way!
Let's close in prayer…
(A and Z, I do hope this gives us a roadmap of future actions you have to take. Revisit the stories in the Old Testament. I have a feeling that one of our friends may be anticipating the revisiting and fulfillment of the prophecies in Egypt. It might take some time until the Bible study after all. So the specific plans that I have in mind to make the world believe in God  cannot be explained. For now, read and follow the Word. An alien race invaded the Earth on June 6, 2128. At the midst of this war, many nations allied with the alien threat and the war nearly wiped out the rebelling humans of the planet. At the edge of mankind's survival, the United Nations Army launched its forces to eliminate the immediate stellar threats that loomed over Earth.

General Seeker Carlean, commander and leader of the mission, risked and gave his life to destroy the immediate stellar threat. The battle was won though Earth lay in ruins. Perhaps mankind will live to see a few years of peace before the alien threat returns to wipe out their existence.

At the immediate aftermath of the stellar battle, the fallen Seeker Carlean awakens and finds himself at aged 17, living the peaceful life he lived 16 years before he died.

So begins a new game in the battle for humanity's survival.

If you are suffering from some kind of depression whether it is from sin or financial problems, you might want to hear this verse from the Bible. It is simple but so life changing. 
 
 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

 Such inspiring verse from the Bible don't you think? It is very short and simple but is very true. You can try all of the tactics you want but without God's permission, it will never work. But, if you love God with all your heart, it would be obvious He will love you back. Doesn't parents always want best for their child? If so won't God also want the best for you? He is the creator of the universe and has absolute power.
 
Of course if you love Jesus with all your life, He will always find a way for you. For those who are struggling trying to repent but keep sinning, always remember God and what He wants to do with you. If you sin again then repent to God again, turn from your sin. 
 
While trying to turn from your mistakes always find solutions to your problems. Let's say you suffer from an addiction, you might want to memorize some Bible verses. It will really help you. Memorizing the verse I put in the start will be really effective. But remember if you fail and displease God once again, never give up. If you ask a succesful businessman how to make a successful business the majority will probably say, "When you fall, rise up again no matter how much times until you can gain success". So if you disobey God do not succumb to your sins saying to yourself, "I can't do it. I'm too weak. God will never forgive me". No, do not say that. Continue on with your journey. Never give up. Always remember, never give up and always keep God by your side.

 If you suffer from school, let's say you get bullied, always remember what Jesus said in his time, "If someone throws a stone at you, throw back bread". What Jesus meant here was if someone gave you hate and curses, give them love. Just as the Bible says, "Overcome evil with good". So if you keep getting bullied at school, tell your teacher. If they still keep bullying you, ask God for courage to face your bullies. Ask God to give you courage to tell your bullies that what they are doing is wrong. 

 But when I say courage, I don't mean to go have a fist fight with them. The commandments say, "Love thy neighbor as you love thy self". So if you fight them, you have disobeyed this commandment. What does the Bible say about this? Well it says," To overcome evil with evil is no different from what you have overcome and you made no difference in what the the evil you overcame did". So do not fight with your bullies, love them. Like they are your brothers and sisters.

 But let's say you are depressed because of school itself. Your homework is stacked, you are the smartest student so the teachers make you learn so many things all at once for a contest, you have an upcoming important test and you need to study but you lost some of your handbooks if not all of them. Remember this, every single person in this world suffers from something. You may have a cut that hurts so bad, but what if the person you are talking to professing everything you are suffering from have stabs? Depression and anxiety are the tests God gives us to see if we are worthy of eternal life. So remember, never succumb to sins no matter what. As I said memorizing Bible verses is very useful.

Ronjon wrote a letter to Asha.

[Dearest Asha,

I already got our passports but the plane is always full. I tried to bribe a ticket officer but he said he too wanted to leave the country but all outside travels are fully booked. He even mentioned that the government might temporarily stop the flights due to this country's situation. I'm afraid we can't come soon. 

By the way, Uncle Harry already understands that we are hiding something from them. I wish to tell them and I know he would probably have a solution for you but I think it is not yet the right time. I'm asking the people here about the possibility of moving the orphans somewhere but as of the moment, I couldn't find a good place for them. Also, no one would believe me if I tell them these orphans will be killed by their own sponsor if you won't show your face after two years.

If you see fit to tell them about this, I will follow your wishes. I miss you. I really miss you.

Labani and Asha went to church that Sunday morning before they went to Tarla's restaurant. This time the pastor's sermon was all about 'Anxieties.' The pastor started his sermon from the reading of the Bible.

"According to Philippians chapter six verses four to seven, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

If any of your here who couldn't sleep and worries filled your mind, ask God for his peace that transcends all understanding to guard you against getting depression or sleeplessness. As also said in Matthew chapter six verse thirty-four, so don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

"Give all your worries to God and trust him to help you …"

The pastor continued the sermon but Asha couldn't understand a thing the pastor said. Somehow, her Bangla bible was on her lap as she read the passage of scripture mentioned. Her eyes were fixated on the words 'do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' Lately, her heart wavered that Ronjon could get a ticket after reading his letter. She even thought of disobeying her aunt and fly back to the country to be with her husband.

She prayed whisper-like. "God, help me, help Ronjon to get their tickets. Keep them safe always. Please, God, send them here soon," then as she opened her eyes, the words 'with thanksgiving' caught her attention and hurriedly closed her eyes again."Sorry, I forgot to thank you. Thank you for your help, God." 

Asha was not sure if she prayed the right words. However, she only sighed and said to herself, "I believe God can understand what I'm trying to tell him." She looked up the ceiling and imagined that God was there looking at her. 'Are you going to answer my prayer, God?' Then her eyes grew big and covered her mouth. 'What am I doing? How could I tell God that way?' She shut her eyes the third time and prayed earnestly. 'Sorry, God. I believe you'll answer me.'

They left the church and went to Tarla's Indian restaurant, Royal Bengal House. They went into the diner. Labani talked to a blond haired lady for a while and rubbed her forehead. She faced Asha and told her the situation. "Tarla didn't tell her staff that we're coming. Do you still want to continue?"

"Let's ask for Auntie Tarla, maybe she only forgot."

Labani asked the lady to tall Tarla that they had arrived. After the lady's sentence, her face grew heavier. "Asha, the girl here said that Tarla is away." Labani was losing her patience. "How rude. She told you to come and now she is away."

"We'll just wait, Auntie." Asha felt sorry for the inconvenience she gave her aunt. As she looked at the tables and food served to the guests, her eyes brightened, an idea came to her mind. "Auntie, let's go home first."

"Are you sure about that? She might think you've given up."

"I'll tell you my idea outside," Asha said. The woman entertaining them heard her words, and unknown to them, she could understand Bangla. She was intrigued by what kind of idea this young girl said.

As they stepped outside, "Auntie, teach me nice plating at home then I'll come back bringing my food for Auntie Tarla to taste."

"Well, I'm delighted to hear that. I thought you wouldn't ask me for help."

"I'm just shy to ask you." Asha scratched her head as she smiled innocently at her relative.

Labani flicked Asha's forehead with her finger. "Shy? Or it is just your pride telling you not to ask me. Humph." Labani laid her hands on her hips with one of her eyebrows moved up.

"Hahaha, I think both, Auntie." Asha laughed aloud as if all her troubles was blown away.

"Yeah, you really have mine and your father's gene."

Asha's forehead furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"

"Don't you know, girl, that our family has this crispy golden brown fried pride to ask for help?"

"Hahaha, I don't know but I can relate." The two laughed heartily as they strode away from the store.

Unexpectedly, Tarla came out of the door and saw the two. "Lily, what do you think of that petite girl?" She spoke to the woman who answered their queries.

"She's interesting. I like her patience and perseverance. She didn't give up that easily. I'm really intrigued about her idea too."

"Glad to hear that. Tell your brother Gael that we've met the girl he mentioned. I want him to be here when they come back with the surprise."

Asha is now on the brink of helplessness and despair. Would she let despair to chase her for the rest of her life? Thus, she faces the man who wanted her dead and to stand as a woman in the world of chefs. 

She will create her own dishes and make his father's recipes alive again. Her adventures lead to clues of the real killer of his father and get entangles with love. 

Somehow, when she is face to face with the murderer, will she forgive or not? The Recipe of Love will show her the right decision to make.

This is a story of a girl in her journey to become a lady chef while in life-threatening situations and falls in love. So, don't expect a fast pace cooking battles. It is Asha's journey.

The setting of the story is India before its Independence in 1947. The exact timeline is 1945. However, in the first part of the story, I didn't use during the British occupation since the places/villages I mentioned do not exist in the present country. I used Bangla words since the culture is more on present Bangladesh. 

This is absolutely a fiction story.

If you have questions about the culture, please ask me in the comment and I'll try to explain things to you. I can't write the culture within the story for that will bore you to death. Most are written in the Author's Thoughts.

Sky closed his eyes and waited. A minute passed. Another minute passed. Noticing the strange situation, he gulped down the saliva that had been formed due to his fear and opened his left eye.

As he opened his left eye, Sky's vision fell on the enlarged hand of the young lady, but this hand had already stopped moving. It stayed stationary in air, it's fingers clenched. 

With no other movements from the hand, Sky's fear disappeared and he smiled while his vision fell towards the illusionary face of the Young Lady. While he looking at her, the Young Lady was also looking at him. Her eyes seemed to say something, but Sky could not understand her intentions.

They stared at each other and the staring contest ended swiftly with Sky turning away his head. For some reason he found it hard to look at the illusionary face of this young lady for a prolonged amount of time.

Seeing Sky avert his eyes, the Young Lady sighed. Sky who had been watching her from the corner of his eyes found this action both comical and cute and also little strange.

After sighing, The Young Lady slowly opened her clenched fist before Sky. As she relaxed her fist, a bright light spread all over the surroundings blinding Sky. 

It took a while for Sky to adjust his vision to the newly lit environment, but when he had adjusted, he stared dumbly at the open palm of the Young Lady.

On the relaxed palm of the Young Lady was a small ball of white light. If it was your normal light, Sky would not have had this kind of shocked expression, but this ball of white light was made up of World Tribulation, in other words this small ball of white light that was smaller than the size of his head was the Lightning Dragon from before. Obviously Sky was shocked.

"This.. this.." Sky's face turned stiff as he tried to form words. "W-Why is it still alive?" Sky's body weakened with former fear of the Lightning Dragon returning to him.

The illusionary figure did not open her mouth, nor did she say anything in return to Sky's question, but her hand stayed still. 

After a second, the World Tribulation Ball of Lightning moved and approached Sky, who was in a state of confusion and fear. The World Tribulation Ball was so fast that before Sky could even react it was already inside his body. Sky did not even get the time to react before this small ball of World Tribulation Lightning merged with his body.

Suddenly, Sky's mind received a load of information which was disorganised at first, but as time passed, his mind started organising this information on it's own and arranged it an a order Sky could understand.

By the time his mind finished organising this information in the way it should have been, a total of nine profound verses(statements) appeared in his mind.

' Destroy Gods In Path, Destroy Devils in path. Punish those who harm, Punish those who hurt.'(First Verse)

Sky was dumbfounded by these nine verses but he suddenly felt a wave of new power rising in his heart as he comprehended these nine sentences.

As Sky understood the First Verse, His World Tribulation Lightning cultivation reached to the same level as Sin Manifestation realm. It felt strange, but Sky suddenly comprehended the World Tribulation Lightning Cultivation, a type of cultivation that had never been seen in the Martial Sin Realm.

This type of cultivation wasn't deliberate, Sky hadn't cultivated the Lightning Cultivation before, but he was still able to reach a level of Sin Manifestation realm just by understanding the First Verse.

So in other words, it was the small ball of World Tribulation Lightning that gave Sky this Lightning Cultivation which was comparable to the Sin Manifestation realm cultivation.

The First Verse was 'Destroy Gods in path, Destroy Devils in path, Punish those who harm, Punish those who hurt.' 

When Sky understood this Verse, a 'new' Law appeared inside his body. This New Law used World Tribulation Lightning to create a Destructive force that destroys anyone in it's path.

Destroy and Punish, these two words easily emphasised destructiveness of the Lightning Tribulation. As for Gods and Devils, it meant that the Tribulation does not differentiate between good and bad, all it knows was destroy and punish everything in it's path.

Finally, Sky had a comprehended a Law that belonged to the 'Martial Sin World', in other words, he could be barley called as a 'World Conquerer' as he had comprehended a Law that belonged to a World.

The reason that Sky's Lightning Cultivation was so high as soon as he absorbed the Lightning Tribulation Ball was because he had comprehended this single Law. Normally, Sin Manifestation realm cultivator could comprehend a single Law, while every new level in Sin Cultivation would allow one to comprehend another new Law.

Sky's Lightning Cultivation had reached this level because Sky had comprehended a single Lightning Law.

Sky also understood that understanding each Verse in the Nine Verses would let him comprehend a different Lightning Law of the World Tribulation and rise his Lightning Cultivation by a whole realm, as he did not lack 'Lightning energy' due to the presence of 'World's Lightning Tribulation Ball' in his heart.

Now all Sky needed to do was understand the next few verses, and he would reach the level of Original Sins, the Nine Original Sin Realm.

While Sky was still immersed in the new changes that were occurring in his body, the Black Lotus disappeared along with the young lady, they turned into Sloth Laws as they returned into the EverNight Palace.

The Primary Clone of the Original Wrath was sitting on the ground a few meters away from Sky with a dazed expression on his face. His eyes looked empty as he recollected the events that had passed through today.

First, while he was attacking the God Beast with all of his power and comprehending a new Wrath Law, the 'Helpless Wrath Law', he felt the God Beast shaking. The God Beast who had stood like an unshakeable mountain for a whole year had finally started shaking.

The Primary Clone's first reaction was joy. He thought that he had finally succeeded in shaking the God Beast. While he was taking pride in his own power, the God Beast shook for the last time and finally fell down. The Primary Clone had been ecstatic as he conjured his Wrath Laws to kill Sky, his actual target.

He had been attacking the God Beast because the God Beast was protecting Sky until now. Now that Sky was no longer protected by the God Beast, his target had changed back to Sky.

But before he could attack Sky, the Night skies of the EverNight Forest suddenly turned bright blinding him, and by the time the Primary Clone could see again, a World Tribulation Lightning Dragon was watching at his surroundings.

His body instantly stiffened as he felt the danger that he could not overcome. He was rooted to his location unable to comprehend his current situation. He had even badmouthed the Martial Sin World about this situation.

'Why the fuck is this happening. I have always sent Tribulation on others, and have not undergone one on my own. Are you punishing me on behalf of all those who had perished from my Wrath Tribulation, ahhhhh! Damn you!!'

When the Lightning Dragon had opened his mouth and shot out that Lightning Ball, the Primary Clone's soul seemed to fly out of him in fear.

But the strangest thing was, a young lady appeared on top of a White Lotus and snored. This snore created a barrier that protected him from the Lightning Ball, but before he could be happy that he would be able to live, the Lightning Dragon started acting like a clown and started attacking pure air. This action was so strange that the Primary Clone did not know what to feel, he was crushed between laughter and fear.

Finally, the Lightning Dragon stopped and attacked the Seventh Territory once more, but like the previous time the young lady snored this attack away. 

That was still fine, but then, the Young Lady had to go and enlarge her hand and simply crush the Dragon. The Primary Clone no longer knew what he had to feel in this situation. 

A Lightning Dragon was supposed to be indestructible, it should have been able to tear skies and earth alike, but it was instead taken down by a simple palm, the Primary Clone did not know what to feel in this situation. While he was clearly saved from death, his mood wasn't in the best condition. 

More than being happy about his alive status, he felt overwhelmed due to the power of the Young Lady. He was totally depressed after seeing how weak he was. He was made to see his powerlessness and this made him depressed.

The Primary Clone looked at Sky who had his eyes closed and the Clone's expression became complicated. Even though Sky was before him, and even though it might be the last chance for him to kill Sky, he no longer dared to.

Fuck, who would dare kill Sky when that Young Lady was protecting him. Even a Lightning Dragon was destroyed, a puny Primary Clone like him did not even have the qualifications to look at Sky's face.

He cursed this unfair world as he cut the space and returned to his hiding space.

Sky had been too concentrated in the Nine Verses that he had forgotten about his surroundings and his current situation.

He tried to comprehend the nine verses for a long time, but no matter how long he tried, the Second Verse seemed to be illusionary, thus it became harder for Sky to comprehend the Second and Higher Verses. For now, the First Verse was the only verse that wasn't illusionary, every other Verse was either Illusionary or completely empty.

Sky understood that he would not be able to force his understanding of the Verses, so he finally, reluctantly, stopped and came back to his senses.

These kinds of things could not be forced. Sky would need external stimuli to understand the other eight Verses. The best way to understand them was to go through another World Tribulation.

The reason that Sky was able to understand the First verse that was about Destruction was due to the fact that he experienced the destructiveness of the World Tribulation Lightning firsthand.

He still had no idea about other Verses as they hid other properties of Tribulation Lightning that Sky did not know or experience about.

With nothing to do, Sky sat down and started his Sloth Cultivation. 

Sky understood a lot of things about Sin Cultivation when he saw his Aunt's, EverNight's attack.

His aunt had said, 'First Form of the Sleeping Sloth'. Sky was able to see some clues about Sloth cultivation through her words.

First, every Sloth Cultivator who cultivated above Sin Devil have their unique understanding of Sloth.

Sky's aunt had mentioned 'Sleeping Sloth', this was mostly her understanding of Sloth Cultivation. Sky's aunt EverNight seemed to comprehend Sloth as Sleepiness.

Sky had his own view of Sloth and he had comprehended Sloth as Heaviness, unlike his aunt, who had comprehended it as Sleepiness.

This does not mean that Sky was correct and EverNight was wrong. It meant that everyone were free to have their own interpretations of Sloth.

Every interpretation was correct, as it was defined by themselves.

In simple words, you can say that they were not comprehending Sloth but something completely different. Like sleepiness, Heaviness.. etc. It was just that all of these were derived from the single word 'Sloth'.

Second thing Sky had noticed from his aunt's words was 'Form'. She had mentioned First Form, Fourth Form, Ninth Form. Each form represented a single Law, and Sky could clearly guess that his aunt was at least a Nine Original Sin realm cultivator.

But the word 'Form' was very important here. Forms meant that everything, every form was connected. This meant that Sky's aunt had comprehended Nine Laws, Nine Laws belonging to the same group.

Her comprehension of Sloth was Sleepiness, so she probably comprehended Nine Laws of the Sleeping Sloth, and named them First Form, Second Form... and so on. 

This meant that Sky could also comprehend Nine Laws that belonged 'Heavy Sloth' just how his aunt had comprehended the nine laws of 'Sleeping Sloth'.

This type of cultivation was unique. You can guess it by the fact that the Primary Clone of the Original Wrath was comprehending the Fifth Wrath Law from his Wrath 'feelings' and not his 'definition' of Wrath. Or maybe, the Primary Clone did not have a separate meaning of Wrath in the first place.

In fact, EverNight's cultivation was just like Sky's Lightning Cultivation. All nine Verses belonged to the same definition of Lightning.

Sky was able to understand all of this because of his aunt. She had left all the clues to let Sky figure it out. The main clue was the World Tribulation ightning Ball that was residing inside Sky's heart. Since he knew how his aunt's Cultivation worked through the nine verses, Sky was able to guess how to cultivate his own Sin Cultivation.

His aunt, EverNight had done a lot and helped him unconditionally today. he did not know how to repay her. He also had a vague feeling that his aunt did not care about it. But Sky still vowed to meet her expectations and become stronger. This was the best way he could repay her love towards him.

Sky closed his eyes and focused on comprehending a Sloth Law based on his understanding of Heaviness.

When he entered Sin Manifestation and comprehended the 'Heaviness' as the definition of Sloth, a huge amount of information about 'Heavy Sloth' had entered his mind in an disordered way. Now, he was trying to put this information in the correct way.

With his previous experience from Lightning Cultivation, he was fairly fast in ordering the information about Heaviness.

But, even after a whole week of arranging information in the correct order, Sky wasn't able to see the Nine Verses of Sloth, like the Nine Verses of the Lightning. 

This made Sky realise a simple fact. He did not have enough information about 'Heaviness' to form Laws.

The reason that he was able to form the Nine Verses of the Lightning Cultivation was because he had the source of the World Tribulation Lightning in his heart, thus letting him gain more information about it and form the Nine Verses.

But he did not have anything like this for Heaviness, so his information was lacking to form the Nine Verses of the Heavy Sloth.

Sky sighed in understanding of this fact. Nothing was simple when it came to cultivation. 

He slowly stroked the small body of the God Beast who had been unconscious for a while. Gentleness could be seen his eyes as he stroked her. Sky's heart was filled warmness when looked at this small body.

Sky's mood turned for better as he stroked her. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. In his arms was the God Beast who was also sleeping.

Kaneki after reading the letter felt a coin in his pocket and took it out, the coin was completely black, with absolutely nothing printed on either side. Kaneki decided to deal with it later throw the coin in his treasury for storage and went forth to meet his parents. 

Kaneki: Hope kindly explain to me how Gate of Babylon works? Also regarding the resources from my verse.

Hope: Yes master, as promised by superior being the treasury will consist of original weapon which will automatically be transferred from the real world, Master will have the option to either leave a copy of the original in place or leave nothing at all. It is also important to note that weapons with spirits in them can't be copied with complete power if copies are made. In the case where the original weapons are consumable like for example a grenade and such the treasury will keep the original and make as many copies as Master need thus, one Grenade can be used to create countless grenades. The resources for your universe are dependent on the link you have with the world laws of the verse you're presently in. Starting at the age of 3 you will start absorbing world laws and will have become one with it at the age of 25. Same goes for the energies, your verse will start producing energy of whatever world you are in at the age of 3 and will become mixed in with the planet's energy till the age of 25, thus chakra will be introduced in your verse without any attachment from the naruto world. Your verse currently has only one planet thus can produce chakra up to the same. 

Kaneki: Well that's boring and confusing in simple words, I can use any amount of a particular weapon which is stored in the treasury while also creating my chakra beast from my verse which will come into being after chakra is introduced into my verse right?

Kaneki: Also start collecting every type of animal and such which the planet has to offer let's introduce some life into my verse, use the optical settings of earth atmosphere. While the collection of animals is going on collect a different kind of seeds, let's create an atmosphere for those animals to grow up in we will fast forward the time inside my verse thus making them grow faster and spread all over the world. 
 
Hope: Yes master, AI from D2 to D12 will be assigned on this. 

Kaneki: The last task would be to create a base within the planet in my verse let's name that planet Hope after you. Create a base with everything which is deemed important by our means. 

Hope: Yes master. The first shipment of nanotech which will be created will be shipped off to Planet Hope to build the base. 

Kaneki: Okay then, I will go and meet my parents while you can start the little project which we talked about regarding this world.

The plan created by Kaneki back then was really simple while making Akihiko trap people and research on them, he would make money by selling the preservation technology to the various countries, as he already owned a large portion of money which was in circulation in the world, many countries won't be able to produce such large amount of fund thus while bargaining he would start stealing their natural resources in exchange for technology. After cleaning out every last bit of usefulness he simply ended the death game by killing everyone in it, thus making all the technology which the countries bought with their everything useless leading many of them to be destroyed in the process. People, in general, need someone to blame for their problem, Kaneki gave them all the resources while making it seem like he is doing so at a lose thus moving a large populations sentiments on his side, while those who would in any way blame Kaneki were either killed or simply disappeared. The 72 orphans who Kaneki trained did their job in this regard, using the example of the Black widow from Marvel, Kaneki created a special unit where all the people were trained in everything from science to fighting creating a Spy Unit. With most nations on the verge of collapse, China decided to make Lu TingXiao, Kaneki's father the president of the country to get Kaneki involved in the situation at hand. With Kaneki regarded as the greatest mind of Humanity, all nations turned to him. 

Hope after receiving Kaneki's command started by gifting some amount of both monetary and resources, Kaneki knowing that the situation will become like this already buckled up a lot of food and other necessities from everywhere and was now just regifting it to the nations, One by one nation kneeled in front of Kaneki and accepted help in form of resources. Done with the countries momentary Hope as per Kaneki's instruction started collecting Animals and other species such as microorganisms which were deemed as important using the 73 trained orphans. 

As the world calms down, Kaneki made his way toward his home.

"What?" David says, turning on his heel to face me.

"Troy. He rejected me."

"What?" he says it again as a look of disbelief begins to cloud his face.

"How?"

"He only seems interested in me because of Bri." I reply noncommitally even though my mind still buried deep within those memories.

"How?" he asks for a second time, but this time I know he's questioning my reasoning rather than the means by which I was rejected.

"David, Troy is a 'good' guy and he will always try to live up to that name not matter what." I tell him sternly, pursing my lips together and furrowing my brows at the offending thought.

"I don't get it. How does that involve you or Bri?"

"You don't see it?" he shakes his in disagreement and I launch into a full explanation on the inner workings of Troy White's 'noble' mind.

Troy comes from a very traditional family. In fact, the entire White family is so traditional that they trace their lineage to the great Knights and Lords of the medieval times.They also believe that a family should always remain together no matter what.

Having been cut from that same cloth, Troy White will always do anything for his family even if it means making a matyr of himself and dating me because they approve or rejecting me because of a career vision that they have for him.

"But he didn't know that you were expecting Bri." David asks quizzically resuming the short walk towards Bridget. We've been out the entire afternoon until now, when I've decided to open up and share my 'fateful' past.

"No he didn't. He wanted nothing to do with me when it was just me and when he found out that I was expecting, he dropped to his knees and proposed." 

"I still don't get it." David tells me shaking his head.

"How? How can you not. I just told you, he only wanted me because of Bri. Everything he has done is because of Bri. I love my daughter, but I don't think she is enough reason to get me chained to a man for eternity!" I reply finally exploding in his face.

"I don't know, it just doesn't add up."

I stop in my tracks and stare at him in frustration. It's clear enough to me and I don't get why it isn't to him. Maybe I have been right all along and the Male species is completely different from the Female.

"What part of I asked him about marriage and he said no is hard to get?"

"Come on Attara. You said it yourself. He was under pressure from his family to run for office. Maybe he wasn't thinking clearly and maybe the news about the baby gave him clarity."

"No, I don't think so. If it were true, Monica wouldn't hate me that much for not accepting his proposal. She thinks I ruined his career!" 

"I don't know Attara. Have you ever talked to Troy about all this?"

"What's the point?" I deflate, dropping my head between my hands as I flop myself down on a patch of grass that is next to Bridget. He comes to a stop in front of me and leans his lower weight on the hood of the car.

"You can't know what you're missing unless you try. From what you're telling me, It sounds like all this is one big misunderstanding and maybe, just maybe if you did talk things out, you would soon realise that things are not as bad as you think. You're letting your fear and anger dictate your life for you and if you want to be happy, you will have to completely let go of all of that. Fear Attara, is the opposite of faith and it is not of God. In fact, the Bible says in second Timothy chapter one verse seven that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but the spirit of power, love and a sound mind. So, Attara you asked me to show you why I am happy, it's all in the Bible. Don't just read it practice it."

"What about caution?" I reply snakingly.

"Attara. Caution is taking the proper precaution to remain safe. The Bible also talks about it.It says guard your heart with all diligence for in it are the issues if life. But caution should not stop you from doing what must be done. It does not also mean that you cripple yourself by living in a constant state of apprehension. No, it means doing what is right, in the right way and trusting God to take care of you."

"You just lost me there." I tell him while still attempting to pull on my usual calm,bored facade. His eyes latch on to mine and the corners of his lips twitch upwith a barely concealed smirk. One look, just one look, that's all it takes and my flesh mask falls off revealing the glare that sobers him up instantanously.

"Okay. Let's take your investment in me for example. It's a risk because you don't know the outcome. You may either gain or lose, but that doesn't stop you. Instead, you are doing your research, making me sign that contract and other things that are meant to safeguard your investments. You're taking precaution while still venturing on. It's the same thing with relationships. You need to invest that same kind of effort while also taking precaution."

"Okay, I'll think about it ." I finally relent pushing myself up to my feet.

"While you are it, read Matthew twenty five from verse fourteen to thirty and Luke nineteen from twelve to twenty seven. "
I nod taking out my phone from my pant pockets to read the bible passages.

I reach out for the door handle and settle in before taking out my phone again to read through the said passages.
