Started thinking of this may not finish who knows.

Just a heads up, I will delete all my chapters from Webnovel at the end of this month.  So hopefully, everyone who wanted to read the ending of "Change" has had a chance.  I didn't have an editor for Volume 3, so it may be choppy.

Also, I have given up on translating.  It's not that I can't write in Japanese nor English.  In fact, when I compose in both languages, I have no problems.  The biggest problem is expressing the words from one language to another.  It's an entirely different skill.

For instance, "Dakishimetai" is often translated as "want to hold" or "want to hug" in English, but in fact this Japanese word carries more meaning to it.  What is often untranslated is that it also means to "want to hold someone and protect them from their own pain, self-doubt and suffering."  Or it can attach the meaning of "wanting to hug someone and not wanting to let go."

This is why translating is so difficult.  And then the tone, the language and the way characters express themselves don't come through too well.  I know Yuki (former editor) constantly complained about Jingshu's character, where Jingshu was very whiny, while acting cute.  This was very difficult for me to translate into English.

Although, I won't translate my own work anymore, but it was certainly a learning experience.  :)  

Just also wanted to say that some things were left untranslated as I didn't know or have the word choice in English to explain it.

For clarification, Zhang Jun gave up on his promise to his father because he was shocked by Zhang Hua's revelations, which made him realize how insane his father was by the things his father did in order to continue the Zoubek bloodline.  Also, Zhang Jun rescued his sister (can't remember if I translated that part) but she and Min Beizheng end up together.  So the bloodline could directly pass down through her.

And if you haven't figured it out, Jun became a god and spent the rest of his life fulfilling Jinying's wish to be a goddess.  

People also felt Yangning's character was controversial.  On one side, there were fans who liked his character.  On the other side, were fans who hated him.  But I think the monsters in this world are not born, they are made.  And I hope I explained his story well.

Also, my transmigration story should be ready to go.  I will be posting chapter 1 on the other website.  As to why I don't post the website name here is because I don't want "that person" to steal my new story.  In all honesty, I'm not a professional writer.  And my dream isn't to become a writer.  In fact, I hate to write.

I started writing because at that time a friend of mine had broken up with her boyfriend.  She was heartbroken.  In order to fulfill her wish for a happy ending, I wrote a story about her and that exboyfriend.  As she read the development of the plot, she realized she didn't love that boy and was able to let go.  Through the story, she was able to overcome her heartbreak.

Because of that, I had always wanted to heal someone else through my stories.

The story "Change" was written for a male fan of mine, who had been cheated on by his girlfriend.  It was also the first time I wrote a story directed towards male audiences.  Usually, I write for women.

I know some fans want to know why Jingshu was raped.  The answer is because at that time I asked the male fan, "If your girlfriend hadn't cheated on purpose, but she was raped, would you have remained angry with her?"

He didn't have an answer for me.
 
As "Change" progressed, he came to see his own faults.  Everyone asked why the story characters aren't wholly good nor bad and the reason is because no one is perfectly good in real life.

That male fan of mine worked on his relationship with his girlfriend and ended up marrying her.  It has been a year since I've asked him about his relationship.  I often wonder if they are happy now?  That's why I think love, true love is forgiveness, and forgiveness is humanity's pinnacle of compassion.

I have promised myself to stop writing stories to heal others.  Instead, I want to write stories for my own enjoyment.  I guess this is because of 西瓜JUN.  Even when his fans weren't kind and yelled at him for singing certain songs, he still did what he wanted.  When I think about how strong he is, I also want to become that strong.

But I'm still very much a coward.  Someday, when I am brave, I will post on his Weibo account directly and tell him to stay strong, because if not for him my life would not be as happy today.  In other words, 西瓜JUN is the rainbow at the end of a terribly frightening thunderstorm.

Kong Xiuru thought of herself as a genius in learning foreign languages. Her memory had always been good and she had her own methods of remembering words. In her daily teaching process, she would pass down some of them to her students.
However, Kong Xiuru only realized now that her memory wasn't even worth trash as compared to Ling Yun's!
Once! Just once! He had learned it after just taking one look. She heard that he had no problem reading or writing it. Is… is he even human?
Can 'genius' still be used to describe him?
If he… if he has such a terrifying memorizing ability, why did he have to wait until the college entrance exams to exhibit it?!
Why was he so low-profile before?
Kong Xiuru didn't quite dare to believe that Ling Yun had really memorized over a thousand words so quickly. She took out the Grade 10 English textbook and started picking out some of the more difficult words for Ling Yun to read.
This time, she wasn't searching from the word lists behind the texts. Instead, Kong Xiuru was randomly selecting from within the texts.
In truth, Ling Yun wasn't just able to read the words out very well, he could even explain their meaning at will and easily write the words on paper.

Now, she was closing the textbook and she was describing the meaning of English words using Chinese and getting Ling Yun to translate it to English. On top of that, he even had to write and read those English words.
Then, she believed it! Whenever she said a Chinese word, Ling Yun would immediately translate it to English. Moreover, as he read the word, he would casually write that word on paper as well.
In one go, he had translated twenty to thirty words and they were all correct. Not one of them was wrong and he had not hesitated on a single one of them.
Kong Xiuru was dumbfounded. She felt as if she couldn't stand properly. She stopped getting Ling Yun to stay in the study room. Instead, she got him to come out and sit on the sofa.
Then, she closely scanned Ling Yun to the point that Ling Yun was a little scared. Was my performance too nature-defying?
Kong Xiuru knew that Ling Yun's learning of English was no longer limited to this half an hour of remedial. If he were to be given a day to memorize all the English words from the senior high school to university syllabuses, it wouldn't be a problem at all!
If that were the case, she could teach him some grammar on top of that and get him to memorize the senior high and even university level English texts. College entrance exams? Even taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) straight away wouldn't be a problem!
"Ling Yun, you're incredible!" Kong Xiuru suddenly burst out exclaiming.

Finishing the translation, the multiple choice and reading comprehension afterwards were much less complicated, but these sentences are too childish, testing me, who has achieved Level six English, about stuff like "Weather Forecast"! Before 10 minutes have passed, I finished the test paper, wrote my name and handed it in.
Ye Xiaoxiao was convinced that I must have handed in a blank, and got me to place it beside the stand without even looking at it.

After I returned to my seat, Zhao Yanyan said angrily, "Why did you hand it in so quickly, you can't be guessing again can you? Did you guess pretty accurately last time when you did those math questions?"

"I finished guessing," I said. "Don't forget about the reward!"

Ye Xiaoxiao found a red pen and said, "I'll mark Liu Lei's paper myself, continue marking everyone else's!"

I just want to save this novel from oblivion since I always saw the "So Pure, So Flirtatious" but no VPAA novel associated with, because this novel is its Prequel.

The academy library was only a short walk away and was quite close to the Elder's Building. The library building from the outside was only a small single storied building and no one will be able to guess that the building holds one of Asia's largest libraries. On the inside, the buildings show its true colours. Instead of a single floor, there were 10 different floors with each floor having a size similar to a football field. It could be said that this library was more than 10 times larger than the Hogwarts library.

This fact is not too surprising. Unlike Britain in which only a single language is used for all purposes, Magical India had more than 15 different official languages due to different tribe's having their very own language. Books written in all these languages were present inside this library. 

One thing I was thankful for in India was that despite there being so many languages, all the spells were in one language, Sanskrit. If every tribe used and taught their own version of spells in their native language, then having an academy will have no meaning. Each elder will teach in his/her language and due to this, the only people who will sign up for their classes will be their own tribe members since no one will be interested in learning a different language just to learn from the elder. If this was going to be the case, then the Elder could have conducted the class in his tribe itself.

Of the more than 15 languages here, I knew only English and Hindi. So I could read only the books in these two languages. The first two floors had only Hindi books while the English book filled a small part of the 10 floor. English was not a common used language here. I had only some average fluency in Hindi so I will have to improve my proficiency in it if I want to make good use of all these books. 

The third and fourth floors had books written in Sanskrit language and I will have to learn the language sometime soon in the future to make my learning process here faster. The language was not commonly spoken in the present era but most of the old and informative books were written in the Sanskrit  language and if I wanted to read and learn from them, I will have to learn language.

Much to my disappointment there was no easy way to solve this problem since there were no magical translators or spells that I could use to translate these books into English. People in India had tried very hard to make this possible over the years but they had failed miserably. I too felt that such a thing was impossible since different languages did not follow a pattern that could be used to magically translate it. Languages did not follow rules and were made by old people on a whim according to their needs.

The people here did invent a spell to make learning language easier though which I am going to make good use of. The spell will make it possible for me to completely learn a language in a month. All I had to do was memorise some books that came recommended with the spell and it will allow me to learn the language quickly. I am planning to use it to perfect my Hindi first and then learn Sanskrit. I did not plan to learn any other Indian language.

The library was huge and I already had a list of books that were recommended to me today that I had to read. I did not have time to waste since I had a deadline which I had to keep. I did not have too much time to waste.

Before going to the Healer section, I decided to visit the English section first since I wanted to see what was available in there. Also it was the language I was most comfortable with in this library. 

To get to the 10th floor, the people here had invented a magical variant of lift. It was a levitating disk on a platform which would follow my command in a way similar to that of a broom and take me to my floor. I liked the idea so much that I wanted to replicate this type of lift in my black castle. I planned on completely renovating the Black castle and this lift was added to the list of changes I wanted to make.

On the 10th floor, the English section was easy to find. The section consisted of 15 large bookshelves filled to the brim with books. This was a small number when compared to the even the Hogwarts library except that the books here were priceless. On glancing through the books, I found that the collection did not have any new books but instead every one of the books was an antique and were more than a 100 years old. Some were even more than 700 years old. Even my black library did not have these book and I wondered where the academy got them from.

The books were calling for me to read them but I controlled myself and went towards the Healer section of the library. I badly wanted to start reading the books but I knew that I had no time for them currently. I could come back here after 3 days and start reading them.

The Healer section on the second was huge with more than 30 bookshelves. I quickly found the books on my list and went towards the Duelling section which was on the same floor. It was not too big just 7 book shelves and I easily found the books recommended to me by Elder Akash. I also checked out the book which will allow me to improve my fluency in Hindi.

The checkout system here was quite unique. First of all, all the books in the library were warded to protect from damage and making copies. At the checkout counter I had to specify the number of days I needed a book. The books had another set of runes that were then programmed in such a way that when the rental period ended, the book will be automatically returned to its original location in the library. After checking out the books for 3 days, I left the library as it was time for my next class. The mage sight tutoring with Elder Nainesh. 

When I entered his room he was very excited to start teaching me. I learn the reason for it later during the class. It was due to the fact that my mage sight was different from his and he wanted to compare both and conduct experiments. The main difference was that my mage sight only showed a slight glow in my eyes when activated which his not noticeable while his and his tribes mage sight had tell tale sign when activated. His eyes started twinkling like Dumbledore's glasses when mage sight was activated so he couldn't discreetly use the sight like I always did.

The class was very productive. The method to toggle between different modes was controlling the amount of magic that I sent into my eyes. For the seeing through walls effect I had to rotate my the magic around my eyes. The amount of magic in the eyes and my control in rotating it perfect decided the distance I could see and what I could see.

It was difficult to do since I had not practiced controlling the amount of magic that I could send to my eyes ever in my life. For the first class I did just that. Controlling the magic. By the end of the class I had gotten a slight hang of the method and I could toggle between the modes just for a short few seconds before I lost control. I was sure I could perfect this in a weeks time.

After that productive one hour class, I went back to my room. It was time for me to start reading those books since time was tight. After conjuring a table and a chair, I started reading, beginning with the language book so that my later reading will be quicker.

Huang Xuan felt bad luck. He had caused a mess with a spring water bottle, and the girl before him had been the direct victim. He hadn’t recognized her, but now his smile had given him away.
Paulino was teaching the class passionately. Huang Xuan shrank his head and asked in English, “You are?”
“Galatea.” She smiled again. Her eyes and brows all turned into new moons.
With Rolin’s help, Huang Xuan responded quickly, “The Goddess of the calm seas?”
Galatea was the name a Greek sculptor gave to his best sculpture. Later, he fell in love with Galatea, but when Galatea woke up, she regarded the sculptor as her father. Many suitors fought for her or even for just one look at her. The kind Galatea cried so much that she became blind. She thought she didn’t deserve to have come to the world, so she jumped into the river one evening and killed herself. After her death, she was called “The Goddess of the calm seas”.
Rolin had explained the meaning of the name as plainly as he could. Huang Xuan thought that Rolin’s chatter had never been so useful as right now.
Galatea was surprised. In Greece, her name could be understood by many people, but now it was Brazil, and the teenager who was even younger than herself wasn’t even a westerner. 
At this moment, Paulino was teaching the Spanish wording structure. Huang Xuan said in a low voice,
 “We missed each other, and you decided to look beside,

Although the intonation was jerky, Galatea was smiling, showing her white teeth.

Huang Xuan shrugged. Finally, he saw the importance of languages Rolin had been talking about, but he barely knew anything about Spanish. 
“I…” he squeezed out in English.
Then he shut up again. Galatea craned his neck, with her hair hanging down softly. 
“Rolin, can you help me learn foreign languages really fast?”
Rolin complimented Huang Xuan on his spirit. “There are no such ways. Even when the base reaches level 21, it will still need two months.”
That gave Huang Xuan something to expect in the future. He decided to give Galatea a good impression first. He looked at his phone, stood up and said, “Sorry.” Then he rushed out from the back door.
On his way home, he kept reminding Rolin, “Remember Galatea’s looks and then tell me her phone number.”
“No problem,” Rolin gave a pleasant answer.
Huang Xuan decided to work hard on foreign languages. It occurred to him that he didn’t even know where Galatea came from.
Huang Xuan wasn’t used to cutting school. He sat there, panting. He wanted to do something, anything, but his mind was in a mess. He just sat there, absent-minded, until dinner was ready.
“Rolin, should I write her a letter?” 
“To whom?”
“Galatea!” Huang Xuan pronounced that name smoothly.
“That will be a love letter,” Rolin said honestly. Huang Xuan’s face went pink. He mumbled something and started writing. Then came the problem. Since he had never written a love letter before, and he wasn’t good at writing, writing a love letter to a foreigner seemed beyond him.
“Hey, any good ideas?” He had to ask Rolin for help.
“What?” 
“The love letter. Do you know how to write one?”
“No,” Rolin said bluntly.
“I am hurt. I can’t believe you refused to help me when I need you so much,” Huang Xuan pretended to grieve.
Rolin didn’t fall for it but still offered his help: “I suggest you translate an ancient Chinese love poem.”
“Poem?” Poems were good. His father loved literature. Huang Xuan nodded his head in satisfaction. “But which one to translate?”
“An Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River by Cao Zhi1,” Saying this, Rolin started translating it and displayed the Chinese and Greek versions to Huang Xuan by energy projection. Meanwhile, he read in a low voice,
“She has a thin neck and fair skin,
She doesn’t wear make-up and ties her hair up high,
Her eyebrows curve slightly,
Her lips are red and her teeth white, 
Her eyes are sparkling,
With dimples in her cheeks, she is so beautiful and elegant,
She speaks gently and charmingly…”
Although Huang Xuan had heard the story that Cao Zhi had been able to write a poem when he had been seven years old, he had never heard of An Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River. He had spent most of his time fooling around with Liu Penggang.
Even though he didn’t get it, the poem moved Huang Xuan. Art was similar. Whoever could appreciate beauty could do art too.
Rolin was imitating Huang Xuan’s tone as he read the poem. Then he started to read the Greek Version of it, which had been translated beautifully in a classical style. It sounded uncertain, misty, and as peaceful as the moonlight.
Huang Xuan was lost for a minute. When Rolin finished reading, he asked, “Will she believe that I wrote it?”
“She doesn’t know you. As long as you possess this quality when you see her again, it is yours.”
Huang Xuan was encouraged, but he knew himself well. Not to mention writing a poem in Greek, he could barely write an article in Chinese. He couldn’t even finish a composition in months. He didn’t understand why Rolin had insisted on letting him learn foreign languages.
He spread his hands and said, “Fine, I will learn Greek from you, but I can stop it anytime.”
“OK,” Rolin agreed, as long as Huang Xuan was willing to take the first step.
“When shall we begin?”

This process included him, first, considering every feeling that was directly transmitted into his head by 'Origin' plus every external feeling that Virus had experienced up to this point. And second, it comprised of the procedure of comparing them with concrete words and finding the best definitions or words for each of them. In short, he was creating the perfect [Emotion to English Translator] algorithm.

Since every single body can contain only one set of Energy Pathways and having two sets of Energy Pathways is like saying two parallel lines will eventually meet… simply impossible and against logic or common sense.'
'Anyway… it all happened due to it being a crucial requirement of creating a new set of Energy Pathways… Sweet!' Smiling from ear to ear, Virus exclaimed happily. He was very jovial because this simple fact alone meant that 'Origin' also wasn't harboring any hostile intentions against him from the very start.
It wasn't trying to trap him. It wasn't attempting to replace and steal his consciousness or physical body. And neither was it trying to imprison him. Overall, at least for now, it had no intention of harming him in any way and that was extremely good news for Virus.
'The second requirement, 〈2. Absolute Comprehension of [Origin Passage Creation Art].〉. Hmm… I think the only way for its full comprehension was through the emotional transference of Art's knowledge… otherwise, I don't believe even ten thousand years would've been enough for a normal cultivator to grasp everything that needs to be enlightened about.'

"Master, as you required, we have moved the crib into your bedroom," Wang Qian and Li Kun came out from the bedroom and reported to him. 
"Thanks. We haven't reopened for business and there hasn’t been much for you to do recently. You can call it a day now; you don’t need to stay here for dinner. When we reopen for business, you'll have lots of things to do and I promise you will get a raise." Zhang Zian nodded and urged them to leave.

Zhang Zian had heard such words numerous times, and as usual, he decided to ignore them. Just when he was about to return to his bedroom, Li Kun stopped him. 
"By the way, Master, there's something that I don't know whether or not I should tell you..." said Li Kun hesitantly. He was worried that his Master would look down on him for making a fuss. 
"What is it? Tell me." Seeing the strange look on Li Kun’s face, Zhang Zian turned around to ask him. 
Li Kun winked at Wang Qian, who immediately understood what Li Kun was going to say. 
"Master, the day you went out for a walk, a strange man stopped us on the street..." said Wang Qian. 
Zhang Zian seemed very surprised, "What? What did he want? Your money? Or you young guys?" 
"Master, no one will do that because we have no money or good looks."
Zhang Zian got even more confused. He didn't understand why anyone would stop these two stupid and poor college students. "Then what did he want exactly? Was he a leaflet distributer? A DVD seller?" 
"Master, no one sells DVD nowadays..." whispered Li Kun. 
Wang Qian continued seriously, "Master, that person claimed himself to be  a pet shop owner. He offered us money if we told him about your cat training secrets... Of course, we have no idea of any superior methods of animal training. Even if we had mastered such skills, we would never reveal that to anyone," he solemnly swore to heaven. 
Zhang Zian became interested in this and asked earnestly, "Which pet shop was that man from?" 
"Well..." Wang Qian and Li Kun looked at each other, "That we didn't ask..." 
Li Kun covered his head with his arms and tried to recollect, "That man's last name was... Huang. Yes, Huang. His name was Huang Mingyu, correct?" 
"Yes, that's the name," Wang Qian backed him up. "He dressed in a suit that seemed of fair price with a pair of leather shoes. He looked like any other ordinary real estate agent."
"Oh, anything else?" asked Zhang Zian. 
Wang Qian and Li Kun tried very hard to recall but didn't come up with any other useful information, and they had to reply honestly, "No, nothing else..." 
Zhang Zian was a bit disappointed. 
"Master, it's all our fault, we let you down." Wang Qian and Li Kun felt really embarrassed. If only they could have talked more with that man instead of turning him down right away, perhaps they would have gathered more information from him and would be praised by their Master today.

"Master, see you later." They said goodbye to Zhang Zian. 
"See you." Zhang Zian waved his hands. He left this thing behind and went into his bedroom. 
He believed that as long as the people he trusted didn't betray him, his secrets would be fine. 
As required by Zhang Zian, Guo Dongyue had knocked down the wall between the living room and Zhang Zian 's bedroom and rearranged the furnishings on the second floor. Finally, Galaxy, Old Time Tea and Richard could stay with him on the second floor instead of sleeping on the first floor with the kittens and puppies. "I’m not finding boyfriends!" said Zhang Zian reluctantly, "You will regret it when you have provoked Fina. Don't say I didn't warn you!" 
"Forget this. What was that woman yelling about downstairs?" asked Richard with great interest. 
Zhang Zian almost forgot about what happened earlier. He only remembered that he had earned 3,000 RMB. He recalled, "You mean Zhao Qi? She always likes making a fuss...well, I asked Fina to teach the kittens dancing and I chose a song as the background music. Zhao Qi got furious when she heard the song; she said it was too vulgar…"
"What song? Play it for me," said Richard. 
Zhang Zian pulled out his cell phone, entered the music player, and played Little Apple. 
"You are my dear, little apple..." 
"I will never love you enough..." 
When the song had finished, Zhang Zian closed the music player and said indignantly, "This is the song. It has clear and strong drum beats, which is suitable for teaching kittens to dance, but Zhao Qi said it was of poor taste! Come on, everyone loves listening to that song, who does she think she is?" 
Richard had been closing its eyes to listen to the music, it reopened its eyes and nodded, agreeing with him, "This time, I have to admit that you, the idiot, are right."
