Inter-planetary Fund's Meche Assis felt that he had taken on a thorny assignment. After considering many candidates, consulting with his superiors, and many discussions with Little Bear, Meche Assis called over his own son Danke Assis.
Having just returned home from boat races on the sea with his rowdy friends, Danke received a phone call from his father and was called over. He wondered what important matter was going on that required his father to call him so urgently. Danke hadn't been stirring up trouble, and there hadn't been any big matters at home.
Danke was pondering over the reason why his father had called him over as he arrived at the Inter-planetary Fund Headquarters. He stepped into the office belonging to Director General Meche Assis and saw a little kid dressed like a bear seated on the sofa. A thought immediately rose into his head. Where did this kid come from?!
He swept a doubting gaze at his father before continuing to stare at the kid.
Meche Assis coughed lightly and introduced him. "This is Little Bear. Bring him around to have fun for a few days."
Danke wasn't happy. "Whose kid is this? How many days is 'a few days'?"
Meche raised his hand at pointed upwards.
Danke's pupils shrank and he sat straight, immediately dispelling his previously sloppy manner. His was excited. This was an assignment from the top brass. Wasn't it just to bring a kid to have fun? He might not do for other stuff, but when it came to having fun, this was his specialty. Being given this assignment meant that the top brass had taken note of him. Perhaps he could enter the core management level even earlier. His siblings hadn't even managed to squeeze in yet!
"Take him along for a week first. Bring him anywhere he wishes to go," Meche said.
"Just one week? Not a problem!" Danke glanced at the little kid on the sofa watching him and accepted this assignment right away.
Meche had a complicated look as he watched his son. He opened his mouth to speak and then hesitated before finally saying, "Do… do your best."
"Don't worry. Isn't it just having fun and making merry? I can arrange for that!"
"No, you don't have to bother about food and drink. He will tell you if he wants anything. All you have to do is accompany him wherever he wants to have fun at. Don't worry about anything else." Meche exhorted him to take note of a few matters.
Although Danke had his suspicious, he knew that he shouldn't probe more into matters concerning the upper echelons of the Inter-planetary Fund. If he asked around too much, perhaps he might not make it into the core management.
"Alright, understood!" Danke promised. "I will definitely complete the assignment!"
Danke walked over to the sofa. He bent down and flashed what he reckoned was his warmest smile. "Hello, I am Danke Assis. You are called Little Bear, right?"
Little Bear studied Danke for a bit before smiling innocently. "Hello Dan Dan."
Danke: "…" This kid isn't lovable at all.
However, no matter what his first impression was, Danke had accepted this assignment. He picked up the luggage with a fierce looking bear head that his father had carried over before bring Little Bear out.
After entering a car, Danke asked, "Where shall we go to have fun first?"
"First, let's fly once around Huangcheng." Little Bear replied.
"Alright." Danke wouldn't even have any complaints even if they were to fly once around the entire Huangzhou, let alone just the capital city of Huangcheng. After all, there would definitely be benefits for doing so. He would treat this little kid belonging to some great leader just like how he would treat his ancestors.
Meche stood at the window of his office as he watched a flashy flying car rise and fly into the distance. He sighed and wondered how many days his son would be able to handle this superintelligence for.
Two days later.
Meche was looking through some documents when he heard that Danke was looking for him. He wasn't too astonished and told his assistant to send Danke in.
"Father——"Danke dragged his voice in a miserable manner when he entered. He knelt down and hugged Meche's thigh. "You are my own father!"
There was a greenish bruise around one of his eyes. The word "B*stard" was written across his face and his delicately arranged bangs was a mess. Danke's eyes were also shimmering with tears. 
Danke took one look and sighed. "Tell me the truth."
Danke exhaled and pointed to the words on his face. "I lost in a game."
He then pointed to his eye with the bruise. "My tone was a little unpleasant when I was shaken awake, so I got hit. Father, how old is this kid? His strength is really off the charts!"
He had been beat in a game and had even lost in terms of strength to a kid. This was really the first time Danke had ever suffered such a heavy blow.
Meche knew his own son best and knew that Danke's words could only be believed to a certain extent. Danke was surely hit because he had lazed in bed and had put on an attitude while getting up.
Superintelligence could be used as a fighting weapon. Thus, Danke's bruised eye couldn't even be considered playing around.
Therefore, Meche only replied to Danke's tearful complaints with a heartless, "Oh" followed by, "Since you can't accomplish this assignment, I will just hand it to someone else…"
"Don't!" Danke blurted out hurriedly. He didn't really want to give up on this assignment. He had only come over to let his father and the Inter-planetary Fund leaders know that this little kid was a handful as well as to let them know how tough it was on him.
"Dad, is that really from the great leader's family?" Danke asked in a hush tone.
"Mmm." Meche nodded.
"Kids of the great leader's family are really extraordinary." Danke put on a serious expression, stood up, and smoothed his messy hair. "Don't you worry, I can still persevere!"
"With these acting skills, even if you don't get into the core management, you can still try your hand in acting." Meche said with a wooden face.
"Hehe." Danke giggled as he jumped up and loosened his arms. "I will be heading back first. I have given the broadcast video platform's account to that little kid to watch serials. He likes 'Founding Era'. The full series should be able to keep him busy for quite a long time."
The moment he had mentioned the full series of "Founding Era", Danke had felt that his own resourcefulness deserved to be praised. How am I so smart! He reckoned that the little kid wouldn't have even completed watching a chapter by the time this assignment was over!
"Don't imagine him being too simple! You… do your best." Meche emphasized once more.
"Hey, don't you worry!"
Danke waved his hands and hurried back. He had taken the opportunity to come over and show his presence while that bear child was watching the serial. However, when he returned home, Danke realized that this bear child's speed at watching serials was a little too fast.
When Danke had left, the kid had been watching the "Founding Era Xizhou Chapter". How had it become the "Yanzhou Chapter" when he got back?
Hadn't he been gone for only an hour?
He took a look at Little Bear, who seemed like he was about to cry while watching the "Yanzhou Chapter".
Danke changed to a pair of slippers before coming back to the room and saw that Little Bear's eyes that had been teary and red had returned back to normal. There wasn't any trace that he had been about to cry!
Danke was astonished. So tears can really be stifled!
He suffered yet another blow. This little kid actually had better acting skills than him!
"Really well-acted!" Little Bear exclaimed. 
"Of course, take a look at 'Founding Era's' cast and crew! Oh right, Little Bear, after watching so many episodes, who is your favorite actor or actress?" Danke returned back to the moment and asked.
"Fang Zhao!"
"Fang Zhao? Why?"
"Real!"
"Sss, aren't actors all acting? How can that be real?"
"Then his acting is the most realistic."
"What does a kid know about being real or not?"
"I want his autograph!"
"Don't have it… I will help you purchase one online."
"I want to take a photograph with him!"
"He is on a foreign planet filming and can't return… Why? Have you learned from others to chase stars? Chasing stars will make you brainless!" Danke tried to frighten Little Bear.
"Oh, so you have chased stars before?" Little Bear asked.
"… What do you mean by that?!" This brat is totally not adorable at all!!
Seeing that Little Bear wasn't replying, Danke asked, "Will you be continuing to watch the series, or do you want to do something else?"
"Watch the series."
"Alright, you go on watching. Call me if you need anything. There's food in the refrigerator. Help yourself if you get hungry or thirsty. I will be returning to my room to catch up on some sleep first."
Little Bear's only raised his hand to wave Danke off, his eyes remaining fixated on the screen.
Danke returned to his room to shower and washed the markings off of his face. He applied some medicine to his bruised eye and took a nice afternoon nap. When he got up, he discovered the bear child watching a concert. A video of Fang Zhao's concert.
Danke yawned and muttered to himself, "No longer binging the series. Kids sure are fickle."
Danke was jolted awake by the shock he got when browsing through the history of his video broadcasting platform account. The full series comprising of every episode from each chapter of "Founding Era" had been completed. Even those edits and interviews had also been searched for and watched.
Danke took a look at the time. He double checked that he had only slept for two hours and not two months!
Danke wondered whether that kid had just fast-forwarded through the videos. Danke stretched his neck out to observe and saw that the bear kid was really watching the concert attentively and didn't seem to have any intention to fast-forward. Thus, Danke left the projection room and sent his father a message.
[That bear kid is chasing stars now. Will that be a problem?]
Meche immediately returned with a video call.
"What's going on?"
"It's like this. Do you see? He is currently watching Fang Zhao's concert video and even said that he wants Fang Zhao's autograph and a photograph with Fang Zhao. I reckon that he will want to find Fang Zhao when he returns back from filming… Dad, what's wrong?! He's just chasing a star. Why does it seem like it scares you so…"
On the other end, Inter-planetary Fund Director General Meche Assis who had been entrusted with this important assignment turned pale and broke out in cold sweat. He didn't reply to Danke's question immediately and sent a message after ending the video call. 
[Don't let him get close to Fang Zhao during the assignment period! No, make him stay far away! Don't let him get close!]
Meche was worried. Little Bear looked human, but he had the kernel of a superintelligence. Meche was worried that Fang Zhao's ears would detect something if he were close enough.
Danke frowned when he received his father's message. He studied the little figure in the projection room a few times.
"*Cough*, Little Bear, let's change a star to chase. What do you think of that…"
"News just came out. Fang Zhao donated tens of billions to Bu Base," Little Bear blurted out abruptly.
"WHAT?!"
Danke was so stunned by this news that he totally forgot what he wanted to say. After searching online, Danke discovered that this news was true, and various authoritative media outlets had already reported on it. There were two news items regarding Bu Base. One was that Bu Base would become the third strategic military location and that the planet was being sealed for developments. The second was that Fang Zhao had donated the entirety of his monetary reward for the Alkaid's discovery to Bu Base.
"Is this person stupid? Is he soft in the head?"
The monetary reward was so much, and he donated every single cent to Planet Bu? Couldn't he exchange it for something more valuable?
Danke just couldn't understand. Was it worth it?
At the same time in Yanzhou's Yanbei retirement facility, Great-grandfather Fang had also seen this news. His hand twirling the walnuts trembled. His lips quivered and his mind was filled with thoughts that Little Zhao had been pressured and swindled. 
Great-grandfather Fang, who chose to be mindlessly biased, cried, "My Little Zhao has surely been wronged!"
He has been tremendously wronged!

This was a big deal, as Adryn had been on the team working to secure such a deal for a long time. He had been almost as excited about her manuscript as his news, which had made her feel so special last night. 

She normally wore the same cocktail dress to these events, but had at the last minute popped out this week and bought a new one. The red, sparkler fit her like a glove and made her feel so sexy. It was absolutely not her style, and yet something about it had spoken to her the minute she walked into the boutique. 

Adryn as her date also added to her overall excitement. He knew everyone and was a big extrovert making sure she was introduced into the conversations as his date, and not just sitting on the outskirts as a wallflower. She was more easily to hear all the gossip and tattle, so she had information Harold would request come Monday morning. This spying on others was the least favorite part of the job, but she understood in this cutthroat business everyone took whatever edge they could. 

Now that she had provided Adryn her manuscript, she glanced at the phone on her desk. She wanted to call Mr. 1288 and report her mission success. It was so foolish, that someone she had talked to just a handful of times, could play so prominently into her actions. She chuckled, he was probably some overweight, computer geek that never left his cubicle and if they did meet she wouldn't give him the time of day. The truth was in her mind, he was tall, dark and beautiful with the voice of a god. 

She picked up the phone and dialed it. 

It rang, and rang and rang. 

No voicemail came online. 

No man came online. 

After close to twelve rings, she hung up. 

"See, you are so dumb," she chastised herself, trying to keep the ridiculous disappointment at bay. It was the wrong number after all and not a lifetime commitment. 

She shook her head to clear thoughts spinning, and turned toward her computer. She was determined to make it a productive day, so she set to editing the manuscript she had been working on. Several hours later, leaning back surprised at how much time had passed. She stood, rolled her shoulders and took a small break. 

As she was to sit again, the door opened and a courier walked in with this small bouquet of pale pink roses, in a pretty vase. For a moment, she imagined that someone cared enough for her to send such a sweet sentiment in her direction. She scoffed. 

"I'm sorry, I think you are in the wrong office," she said sweetly. 

"Arial?" He asked her reading the card in the middle of the flowers. 

"Yes," she said trying to figure out who in the world would have sent these. 

"The courier placed the arrangement on the corner of her desk," and backed out slowly still staring at her, before spinning on his heels and exiting. 

She walked slowly over to the perfect arrangement. Not once in her life, had she received flowers at work? The action was unsettling, as she thought through the options of who might have provided such a sweet token. Mr. 1288? Hopefully not! That would mean he knew who she was, but she didn't have the faintest idea of his identity. That would take some of the ease and mystery out of that for her she reasoned. No other names came to mind for secret admirers. Finally, fed up with her own thoughts, she reached out and snatched up the card. 

"I'm so sorry - just remember I did it for your own good! Adryn"

The words jumped off the page at her, and she felt tiny tendrils of panic start to spread throughout her body. What had he done? This was a big apology, and nothing he had ever done to date warranted such as this. She calmly took a breath in, and then out moving to answer the phone as the phone buzzed. 

"Byron Gertz" reflected on the caller id. Her heart fluttered to the skies. He was VP of New Acquisitions and was legendary for the works he was known to have secured for their publishing house. Many of them had already been purchased and turned to movies or television serials. 

"Harold Tolverson's office," Arial answered the phone trying to sound professional, despite her hands shaking. 

"Arial Heart?" The man's voice came through, not even his administrative assistant who was known to be a bear that protected anyone trying to get to Byron. 

"Yes?"

"Could you come up to my office?"

"When?"

"How about now?"

"Mr. Tolverson isn't in yet," she whispered trying to swallow down the panic around her throat closing. 

"No worries, I just need to see you," he said gruffly. 

"Okay," she squeaked and without another word replaced the receiver in its cradle. 

The phone immediately rang again, and it was 1288. She couldn't deal with that right now. He was going to get no answer from her until she knew what was going on upstairs. She didn't want to break the spell Mr. 1288 had on her with the stress coursing through her veins. She thought to call Adryn, but was afraid she might bark something at him she would regret. 

Standing, she tried inhaling and exhaling away from the stress as she checked her reflection in a small mirror she removed from her purse. A light touch up of her lip gloss was the best she could do with that pale, wide-eyed face. She needed to be on her way. 

As she traveled the hallway to the elevators in a trance, her brain couldn't process anything going on at this moment. Hitting the top button selection once inside, and she was on her way. The entire time she tried to come up with the reason for this visit. She had messed up Harold's last manuscript. No, Byron wasn't dealing with Harold's work at all. Nothing! She could not come up with anything.

As she took in the opulent surroundings as she exited the elevator, so different from the utilitarian floor she had just left, it did nothing to salve her nerves. She stepped up to the receptionist and waited patiently trying to stop kneading her hands together. 

"Can I help you?" The receptionist asked. 

"Arial Heart, to see Mr. Gertz."

"Ah yes, he is expecting you. If you would have a seat, I'll let him know you are here," said the receptionist sealing her fate. 

Arial would just have to be patient a moment longer to see what this life changing request of her presence would bring.

When Arial calls the wrong extension at work, she find a voice on the other end she wants to call again or maybe he could be the one she was looking for all along.

Hello. I am Chunhua. When I used to think of funerals, they were always cloudy. Gloomy weather, clouds, maybe rain. Dry plants and bare trees. Certainly I did not thought of funerals with sunshine, cheerful bird songs and colorful spring flowers in combination.

Just as was the funeral of my best friend, Changying.

I could still not believe what was happening, even in the moment when I put a pink orchid on the fresh grave. Changying had loved orchids and pink was her favorite color in these flowers. Her coffin was decorated with pink orchids and white lilies. It would have pleased her. The thought brought tears to the eyes. Drops of tears trickled down my cheeks. 

I wiped my face and looked around. The other mourners were gone already, I saw two girls in a corner. Besides Changying's family and her closest friends, many classmates had been here. The news of her death had shocked us all and most could not believe that Changying, was gone, gone forever from all our lives.

I, myself, was unable to believe this.

Changying had been so happy in recent weeks. She was doing great in all the aspects of her life. Her grades were great, and recently she had been together with her new boyfriend, Shen. Why should she have to kill herself in this situation? 

In addition, it was something else that made me doubt that it was NOT a suicide. My hand, unintentionally, went inside my black bag and I felt my mobile that I had kept inside my bag. I remembered the last messages I had received from Changying.

 When I told Changying's mother, that Changying was found dead in the park, I thought that it was my responsibility to share with her the last news that I had with me, of my best friend, with only some trustworthy people. I had shown the messages only to Changying's parents and then the police.

Changying was depressed and worried. She felt low. She felt that she was being watched.

She had messaged me about her being worried, but I could not talk to her much regarding this because of our exams. I, also, assumed that it was the exam pressure that was making Changying behave like this. And, I assumed that this was all going to be temporary.

Although Changying had always been a good student, but here it was not just about a simple class work. We were in high school, and our future depended upon on scores. She was pretty good in studies and I had just thought that she was nervous about her performance in the exams. 
As I stood near Changying's grave, I blamed myself that I had not taken her worries seriously. 

I decided that I would share all that I know with Changying's parents and the police. 

A lot was going in my mind. This certainly could not have been a suicide. Changying was a bright student. One big change that she experienced in her life, recently, was getting into a relationship with Shen.

Maybe it was another student, who murdered Changying. Maybe, someone loved Changying and he killed her out of jealousy because she was with Shen. 

No, this can't be true.

Maybe, I read too many detective stories and watch many TV serials, but I could not just ignore any of my thoughts at this moment. After all, it was a very strange coincidence that she sent me these messages and, that too, a few days before her death.

They succeeded at the price of their own lives. But something else happened. 

During the process, Annchi's soul separated into two parts. One was her unicorn soul, and the other was her human soul. When both of Annchi's souls were reborn, it had been ten years since what came to be known as the Invasion. The human Annchi, having no memory of her identity or her past life, was born to a poor yet loving family.

So, I used to hear a tons of stories about ghosts and also watch a lot of horror movies. But since i had never experienced any ghost encounters, i was a guy like "meh, these ghost stuffs are created by humans them self to make money making movies about it and all other serials featuring ghost hunters". Okay let get to the story.

One day, me and my two friends visited this spooky forest. Not nearby but we managed to get there just to check it out as we love the natural atmosphere, you know giving my lungs some adrenaline of fresh air.

The time we reached there was about 7 PM when it was already getting dark and just to let you know there's no light source in the forest except the entrance/exit of the forest area so it was much darker than we expected.

My friend had his apple and i had my TAB with dual flash so we decided to use them to at least see each other. An hour passed by having conversation and smoking cigarettes. We were sitting under a tree as it was thick enough for all of us to lay our backs on it and sit relax.

We were having a good time until we started hearing a sound, like two rocks are smashing into each other. Or.... One rock smashing on the ground again and again, we were pretty confused. I told my friends that it must be a cat trying to climb a tree making the weak branches fall off making it sound like the rock thing. But it didn't stop for like 3 or 4 minutes though. Now after some minutes it stopped for awhile and we were still assuming it as an animal doing these sounds.

Things went silent for 5 minutes, we started our conversation about this forests atmosphere being so windy and cold. Then apparently a rock fell on my friends head, wonder how a rock can be up there on a tree?

Just in 4-5 seconds a big branch from the tree fell on my lap scaring the shit out of me and once again my friend felt like water drops falling on his neck from up the tree. How is there still a chance of water dropping down from a tree when the rainy season was already over 2 months ago?

This night was clearly not our lucky night as we heard the same sound of the rock smash again but now it sounds like its getting closer. Immediately without any options to choose, we decided to run out from the forest as quick as we could. We left the forest safe and sound and headed to our homes.

After few days of incident, one of our friend posted a news about the same forest. There was a huge tower just like a lighthouse, as said by the post, we saw that tower from a distance but didn't get closer as it was a rocky area and there is a chance if one of us falls off the small cliff.

So in the post, A boy was passing by the tower and the first thing he saw was a person but only his head. The post also said the police couldn't find the body but just the head of the man which was already found by the same person who saw it while passing by.

But the question is, what happened to this guy? How in the world can this ever happen to someone? it can be the drug addicts who made this forest to get high with brown sugar or this guy is a drug addict getting his head torn off by someone?

And the weird experience we had few days ago in the same forest, was this the same guy doing it after death?

My questions are yet answered and I never visited that forest again and so did anyone else.

Those who are scared easily, should not read this series of short horror stories.

it was morning when sunlight passed through her half opened window, purple curtains of her giant french window which had gallery attached flies time to time when wind passes by them making a way inside.

"um.." in her sleepiness she moaned as she turned to look away from window, warm sunrays disrupted her sleep as she felt warmness on her pillow.

annoyingly she clicked her tongue as she lazily got up, when her eyesight cleared she found herself in her bedroom, suddenly she came to realization as she looked around to find no one beside her.

' was it my dream? but then how can I be here when I surely remember I was in club before.'

she thought as her eyes saw bedside beside her had cramps. it was clearly visible someone had slept here with her, and that someone is surely jay. 

' so that means he was with me yesterday and he believes me.. he called me Kriti.. he.. he loves me..'

she was so happy that she immediately got up wanting to see his face but sharp pain on her lower belly paused her steps.

" Aah.. what the! how can I forget his love hurts too!" 

she was only in shirt which reached to her middle thigh surely belonged to jay, she smiled as she rubbed her belly sideways, she was looking here and there expecting to see him but when she didn't find him she thought to bath and then look for him.

after having warm bath she dressed in sky blue loose t-shirt and black jeggings, walking downstairs she entered kitchen but she found him nowhere.

"maybe he left.. "

she found pain killer in drawer near and then keeping it aside entering kitchen looked for food.

" mam, sir has told me to prepare something for you. i have cooked upma for you. you wait on dining table I will just heat it in microwave." it was none other than driver hired by jay who quickly come when he saw Kriti entering kitchen with tablet like thing in her hand.

Kriti nodding went outside, seating on chair in dining room she looked at dining table for 10. 
driver came and placed food on table as he started serving Kriti food.

" uh.. um, when did jay left?" she was hesitant at first but still asked knowing it's her right to know after yesterday's event.

" sir left early morning." he kept his answer short as he served her 'upma' and tea. Kriti lightly yawned as he passed tea cup to her after filling it with tea.

" thank you.. what was your name by the way?" 

taking a sip from her delicious tea she asked him as she noticed him standing beside her at a distance.

" chetan mam"

her day continued as she tapped on television to watch something but typical Indian saas-bahu serials destroyed her mood as she chose to rest in her bedroom.

seating on her bedroom she found this day to be quite boring, having nothing to do was not a good thing, now she felt little angry over jay who mercilessly fired her from that hotel.

after so many attempts she actually got hired in an five star hotel only to get fired by boss on 7th day that to without her own fault.

' where is that psycho!! I will definitely import some sense in him! how dare he fired me like this! '

she angrily looked here and there to find her phone couch next to gallery, typing her password she opening caller app and clicked on jay name.

ring gone but he didn't answered her call, she tried many times only to get sad.

There was a village called Gujj, in it lived 5 friends….who always were together...….everyday they meet before school, collectively they go to fetch fodder for their domestic animals and together they went to school. There was only one school in the village.

The boys would meet again in the evening to take their cows and sheep for water. Later they go to their homes, eat food and watch TV Serials.
Summer Holidays soon followed... they knew that they had to spend holidays by looking after their domestic stock all day. They devised a plan, the following night everyone agreed to meet at 10 pm. They went to the coconut garden of the village head, two of the boys climbed up the coconut trees as the other three waited below. One of the boys came forward to talk with a vegetable shop in the market; he bargained the price for coconuts and finally agreed to sell them all at 150 rupees. After collecting the money from the vegetable shop owner they headed straight to the toy shop and purchased a cricket bat and ball for 120 rupees....with the other 30 rupees they all ate doodh peda. 
They were happy after all their plan was a success.....now they knew, exactly how to spend their summer time...….every morning they would have their breakfast and carried lunch boxes …..To the vast plain hills of Gujj with their livestock.....they always had to travel long distances in summer for grazing their animals as water and food was very scarce in summer. They would have left their livestock in the hills and would play cricket below the hills...….


It was a happy day....they were playing cricket below the hills as the time went past 6 pm. They realized they had to take their cattle back to the village, they ran fast towards the hills...….to see their cattle already heading home.....they ran to catch up with their livestock and reached just in time to raise no doubts of what they were doing below the hills.

They all met again the following night at 10 pm. They slowly started walking towards the coconut gardens...….the village head also headed towards coconut gardens to clean his bowel...he came to see the boys moving ahead of him towards his gardens.....he forgot about nature`s call and slowly followed the boys without their knowledge...

"I should teach these boys a lesson," he said to himself.....he covered himself in the black blanket he brought with him behind the bush, as the boys started to slowly climb up the coconut tree...…..The village head, started making evil noises from the bush...….the boys were terrified of what they were listening to....they slowly crawled together into a group holding each other...All of a sudden the village head jumped on them...screaming as a ghost...…..this terrified the boys, and they started running in all the directions.....one of them fell flat peeing his pants, in fear...…the village head slowly crawled back behind the bush...the boy stood up and started running as he cried and screamed for help.
By the time the last boy reached his village, the village had woke up.....they took all the boys into a group, and asked of what happened...….The boys explained they saw a ghost by shivering in fear...…..with later investigations....the villagers came to know about what the boys had done on the night....
It took three weeks for all the boys to return to their normal states...from fever and fear...…..they never dared to go in the dark again...…..The village head would smile in his head, as he looked at any of the boys from that day on...

After their wedding, Sneha and Rohan moved into their new apartment facing the sea. The apartment didn't have much in the way of furniture when Sneha first arrived, only the bedroom and kitchen had enough items to start everyday life. In fact, Sneha was waiting for her furniture to be delivered and had ordered quite a few things. Both Ramona and Sneha had tirelessly roamed the city to find the best furniture and bric-a-brac for the new home. 

The furniture arrived a few days later and Sneha got busy giving each piece its place. She had pictured the rooms so many times in her mind that she didn't have trouble placing everything exactly in its place. Every day she would manage a room and proudly stand in the middle, reviewing whether anything was less than perfect. 

Rohan would arrive in the evenings, eat and go to bed. Their conversations were minimal… 

"I decorated the drawing room today. Why don't you look at it and tell me whether you like it?" 

She was desperately seeking attention but Rohan didn't oblige. He just shrugged, "I'm exhausted, I'll see it tomorrow. I'm sure it's great," he replied without any excitement. 

Sneha came out of the bedroom wondering what had gone wrong. 'Perhaps it is the job,' she thought to herself.

She went to the kitchen and prepared some coffee for her and Rohan but when she went to give it to him, he was already asleep. She quietly closed the door behind her and went to watch her favourite serial on TV. 

Rohan could hear Sneha watching TV. He loathed every moment he spent with her and wanted to avoid her at all costs so he had faked sleeping. 

Back at the office, Stella wasn't being friendly either and had stopped spending time with him. He wanted to talk to her so he went to her cubicle in her department. She was talking to her colleagues but as soon as they saw Rohan, they took off. 

Rohan went up to her and said, "Hi." 

She didn't want to talk to him and ignored him. Her reputation had gone downhill and everyone started pitying her. She was ridiculed and her plans vanished into thin air. Poof!

And here he stood; the person responsible for this entire debacle. Standing in front of her and saying 'Hi!' How could he? 

"Please leave. You have already made my life miserable. Isn't that enough?"

Rohan wanted to mend fences. "It's impossible to share my home with someone I barely know, Stella. I want you to be with me, we have to do something to end this marriage."

Both of them had a long, intense conversation together over their lunch break. 

That evening Rohan came home and felt that he could finally shape his life. His wife had caused a lot of inconvenience in his life and he wanted an end to his misery. He was so caught up in his own despair, he didn't even notice hers. 

Sneha didn't understand Rohan's minimal conversations, his hesitation when he talked to her and his failure to notice any changes she made in the house. Above all, she couldn't understand his reticence when it came to their relationship. She desperately longed for companionship and was a long way away from home. Her father was so happy for her but why wasn't Rohan happy? Why was this marriage becoming a burden? Even though their interactions were limited, Rohan had known her for a long time. He used to help her in school projects back when they were both in school. He was only three years older than her.

Everyday conversations became monosyllabic. The silence was deafening and Sneha felt stifled. She would go for morning jogs to meet people and spend her time watching them, or the birds – this was the only entertainment she had during the entire day. Watching TV serials was becoming boring. 

Did Rohan know anything about her at all? He didn't try to find out and she wouldn't force herself on him. She wanted their marriage to grow maturely and at age twenty-seven, she was aware things could get bitter quickly in a marriage. She was not the domineering type but she knew how to gain control over a situation. This seemed to be an exception though… 

After days of the same routine she decided to confront Rohan. That day, when Rohan came back home she asked whether he would be interested in eating out since she hadn't cooked anything for dinner. Rohan was surprised but he agreed. He was hungry after all and they went to a nearby restaurant and ordered ravioli. 

Rohan was beginning to immerse himself in his cell phone when out of the blue Sneha asked, "How was work today?"

"As usual," came back his indifferent reply. 

"I was wondering if it would be possible for me to visit you at your office sometime? I would like to see where you work," explained Sneha.

Rohan was surprised by her question. He looked at Sneha for a few seconds and couldn't help noticing her vibrantly coloured shirt. The colours seemed to explode out of the shirt and she looked vivacious. Her hair was tucked on one side, revealing her long neck that her danglers were touching trying to play hide and seek with it. 

Rohan abandoned those thoughts immediately and thought of Stella. He couldn't betray her. 

She could visit him in the morning for half an hour he thought. So he told her, "You can come to my office on Saturday morning about 11 a.m. We can go back home together afterward." 

Sneha was also surprised to see that her husband not only agreed to her small request, he actually spoke more than one sentence for the first time since they were married. She was encouraged and gave him a beatific smile. 

The dimple in her left cheek captivated Rohan. 'How come I've never noticed that before? Hadn't Sneha ever smiled before?' These were confusing questions with how he felt about Stella, but they didn't stop. 'Didn't she ever open up her hair in front of him? Was she always wearing full shirts buttoned up to the neck?' 

Their dinner arrived sooner than expected, they ate without talking much breaking the silence only once by asking, "How will you reach my office?" 

She answered it wasn't a problem and that she could take a taxi. They finished eating and Sneha didn't have the heart to ask him anything else and thought the reluctance was all in her head and not him. Perhaps Rohan was like that…always behaving seriously. Maybe they needed to give more time to their marriage. Tonight she knew he had looked at her with admiration. 

She wanted to go home after dinner but he insisted they have dessert. "They serve great Tiramisu here. Would you like to try it?" He was enjoying the food and the company and wanted to see that dimple again, Sneha obliged by smiling. 

"Sure." 

Even though she was pretty full, she wanted to sit there and spend some more time with him. She wanted to give time to her marriage before jumping to conclusions.

She winced and cried out, “You’re hurting me. What’s wrong? Leave me!” 

His fingers dug deep into her flesh. She wanted to get free from his grip but was unable. The tension between them was so high that neither one of them could focus on what was really happening.

She couldn’t help accepting this sincere, generous offer from him. She took the cup and started sipping the tea with a comforting pleasure. ‘This doesn’t mean I have forgiven you,’ she said to him in her mind and then looked up angrily at Rohan. 

“I know.” 

She was shocked to hear those two words coming from him. She hadn’t asked her question out loud so how did he know what she was thinking? ‘Did she accidently say it out loud?’ Her confusion was obvious and Rohan enjoyed every moment of it. He gazed fondly at her and smiled.

While waiting for the base to be moved, Huang Xuan asked Li Qing to help to register a company named Zhongxing Industrial based in Sao Paulo, on the one hand, for the sake of the base security, and on the other hand, to laundry the money in Huang Xuan’s hands.
Since the two Z990 had been delivered to Sao Paulo, Huang Xuan had started taking lessons from the new private teacher and had never been to the Foreign Language Academy again. He hoped to speak to Galatea freely in Greek when he saw her again. 
Rolin had rested for three days before he said to Huang Xuan the next weekend, “Would you like to have a tour at the new base?”
“Of course!” Huang Xuan was too anxious to wait.
Rolin had set a teleportation spot in the bedroom on the second floor. Huang Xuan walked in and was teleported to the base in a twinkle. The walls were still light blue, but he was in a much different mood. He was under a bright energy cover and stepping on a light green energy belt. On the account of the defense, teleportation was forbidden inside the base, about which Rolin had made a blurry explanation, and Huang Xuan wasn’t interested in asking further questions.
Consecutive images were displayed on the walls as the energy belt moved. Huang Xuan’s eyesight was kept steady because of the accuracy of the technology. Normally, human eyes responded within 0.1 second, meaning the error between the appearances of the belt and the images should be no more than 0.1 second. Meanwhile, the superimposing errors during the section of 0.1 second shouldn’t exceed 0.1 second. The former was easy to realize while the latter was unattainable as far as the current sophistication of technology on Earth was concerned.
It seemed that the so-called upgrade of the base was not about the hardware but the application of the technology. Nobody knew whether it was because there had been too little energy or for other reasons.

The computers had been transformed by Rolin, the surfaces of which were covered by crystal energy layers and the frames opened. Huang Xuan noticed that the base was spotless and the dust on himself was gone.
“This thing is one hundred years behind. Why do you want it?” Huang Xuan was still indignant at the two million dollars he had spent.
“The original equipment of the base were all destroyed. However, the equipment the Earth can make with its present resources is very limited, and it will take a long time. To combine with the technology on Earth, such equipment is the cheapest.”
“Whatever, as long as you like it.” Huang Xuan pouted. He touched the surface of the transformed computer and asked, “How did you do it? It seems the same on the surface.”
“Transistors have been increased by 20 times without changing the frame. And a fluidized bed has been used to dissipate heat. You may comprehend it as super high frequency.”
Huang Xuan was rendered speechless by the surprise. “Our super high frequencies are all realized with software.” Looking at the Z990 which had been totally changed, Huang Xuan couldn’t help shaking his head.

“A good one.” Huang Xuan nodded.
“Thank you.”
A chair appeared on the floor. After Huang Xuan had sat down, the screens became colorful, but there were no words on it.
Every screen was as colorful as the passage but looked different from each other.
