Buying that ticket was a mistake from the start.

Mike was at home on his desk writing the 627th chapter of his novel and he then publishes his work and goes out for a stroll.

Since Mike has a very famous novel many people fund him on dascord and many other sites so Mike is on his way to the bank to withdraw some money and when he is about to cross the road a truck comes out of practically nowhere and is about to hit Mike and then 'Splat'

While it would be ironic for Mike to get hit by truck-kun and die he actually stepped backwards, tripped and got impaled by a spike in the fence behind him slowly bleeding to death.

When mike opened his eyes and suddenly screams this is because of the sudden stream of information into his mind which is more information than he can handle this information is actually the past 2 years of memories of Liam Von Estram but these memories are actually all the information he knows through listening because he is blind.

When Liam(Mike) opens his eyes he could not see but in a way sense everything around him in 10 meters and once he registered that the old Liam was beaten to death by the Emperor of the Estramite Empire before he was sent to look after the Vermillion city and near Vermillion city is the phoenix forest which was filled with spirit beasts and Elves.

The only reason Liam was given this land was because the Empress Dowger thought Liam looked cute so favored him slightly. The reason Emperor Uraden Von Estram did not like Liam was because he was the son of his personal maid whom others saw as just a lowly peasant.

When Liam tried to move he was asulted by a sharp pain around his body when suddenly a blue clear screen with black writing stated:

Mike is a writer for a novel (just like me) but unfortunately dies (unlike me) and is transmigrated to the body of 4 year old Liam Von Estram 9th prince of the Estramite empire but is despised by all and is considered trash and is also a cannon fodder character from mike’s novel

Caspar introduced Finland to his directors at the two special tables reserved for the directors. They immediately stood up with their respective dates and greeted them respectfully.
"Let me introduce you to my wife. You can call her Mrs. Schneider," Caspar said casually, not paying attention to the shocked faces of the directors. Even if he mentioned Finland's name, he was sure that the members of his top management would not notice that a girl named Finland started working in their company recently, but for privacy, he chose not to give his wife's name.
"Good evening, nice to meet you all..." Finland greeted everyone at both tables. She was surprised when she saw Stanis Van Der Ven present among the directors. "Eh... Stanis, I didn't know you would be here... I thought you are in Barcelona."
Stanis smiled happily and shook his head, "I always come to the annual party at the office here. This year I also brought my son who started running the head office in Berlin. This is Kurt."
"Ah, nice to meet you, Kurt." Finland remembered that Van Der Ven's family had worked for the Schneider family for generations, so it was to no one's surprise that Stanis had now begun to mentor his son to replace him later to take care of the Schneider family affairs. Stanis and his family were part of a few commoners who knew the secrets of the Schneider family.
Kurt Van Der Ven looked very much like his father, but his face was not as serious as Stanis. He was in his late 30s and looked very confident. He shook Finland's hand excitedly.
When the directors saw that Finland was already familiar with Stanis, they understood immediately that Caspar was not joking when he said that the woman next to him was his wife, and from the looks of it, they have become a couple for longer than they expected. They remember that Heinrich Schneider was indeed very protective of his privacy, so it was not surprising that he married secretly and avoided public scrutiny.
The MC appeared on stage and greeted the top management at the two front tables. The guests applauded many times when one by one the directors were greeted and they stood waving.
Finally, of course, the big boss himself. When the MC announced the presence of Heinrich Schneider, Caspar stood up and invited Finland to rise with him, then waved to the employees who kept clapping and cheering.
Finland felt proud because it seemed like the employees were fond of their boss. Bosses who were not well-liked would not receive such a warm and festive reception.
The MC then took a large glass bowl which contained raffle tickets and asked Caspar and several directors to take raffles from the inside and read out the number written on the papers. Guests who have received a ticket number during registration at the ballroom reception desk could check their tickets to see whether or not they were lucky that night.
The prizes given were truly extraordinary. A new laptop, a 2-week vacation to Bali with the whole family, $ 1,000 in cash, and many other prizes. The most eagerly awaited prize was a Tesla electric car.
When Finland heard the door prizes for the raffles that the MC read, she could only swallow hard.
"Gosh... why didn't I get a ticket from the receptionist earlier?" she complained.
Caspar laughed at her, "Which prize do you want? I'll buy it for you."
Finland blushed. She lived a tough life for such a long time and was used to work very hard to make ends meet, she was still mentally drawn to free things and saving money.
She almost forgot that with Caspar by her side, whatever she wanted in this world could now be easily obtained.
"Sorry... hahahaha, old habits are hard to break," Finland answered with a chuckle.
Caspar just ruffled her hair and smiled broadly. He still remembered Finland being very frugal and she even 'tricked' him into eating at the cheapest Michelin restaurant in the world. When he remembered that, he could only shake his head.
Finally, it was time to draw for the grand prize. The MC invited Caspar onto the stage to pick a raffle from the bowl. The ballroom instantly became quiet. Everyone was paying attention to which number was chosen and who would be the lucky guest to bring a Tesla car home tonight.
Caspar opened the paper in his hand and then read the numbers, "It is 2-4-7."
Voices started muttering in the whole dining area as people looked over each other's tickets and, five seconds later, there was a happy cry from the back of the room. A young woman with glasses excitedly ran fast toward the stage and brandished her ticket.
"Oh my God, oh my God... that's my ticket number...!!!"
Everyone applauded and congratulated this employee who looked like she was dreaming and had to keep pinching herself to make sure she was not sleeping. With a gasping breath she greeted Caspar and the MC and then showed her ticket.
The MC checked the numbers on the ticket and immediately confirmed the employee's luck and announced the winner of the Tesla car that night.
"Wow... that's great... You're really lucky. Please introduce your name and what department you're from..." The MC then gave the mic to the woman.
"Hello, my name is Patricia Brennan and I'm from the Finance Department. Thank you, Sir... for this amazing gift... I am very happy to work for the Schneider Group..." Patricia looked very moved for winning the car prize. Caspar smiled at her and nodded.
After all the door prizes were distributed, it was time for them to watch a special music performance by Billie Yves, who would perform four songs. Thereafter the directors would give a speech, followed by the closing performance from Billie with three more songs. That would mark the end of the party.

Roman grabbed the two slips of gold paper in front of him and broke out into a wide smile as he read the large bold words plastered on them.

"Things are getting interesting," Roman thought. 

So far, the system was living up to his expectations. But little did Roman know, he would soon find out that the consequences of having such a ridiculously advantageous system lay in the complexity of the other system functions.

Roman stared at the gold slips, which read [Divine Level Lottery Ticket.] As if he couldn't control his excitement, Roman blurted out, "System, how do I use this?"

"Great! Use [Divine Level Lottery Ticket]!" Roman chanted.

As Roman commanded, the system brought Roman a new window with a spinning wheel. Roman clicked on the golden wheel to begin its operation, keeping his fingers crossed and hoping for the best. 

"I mean, a divine level lottery ticket can't be bad no matter what, right?" He thought as the wheel began to spin.

Roman sighed as he figured that this was coming at some point. Some disappointing news now would help him better prepare for the future. Nothing is ever easy after all.

After ten seconds, the wheel began to slow down with the pin sliding slowly sliding across the grooves in the lottery wheel. He began to make out the words on each wheel.

Instant Affinity Charm. Supreme Tamer's Hoe [Divine], Domain Expansion Pack…

The wheel eventually came to a stop and settled for a silver charm, Gold Search Charm.

The charm appeared in his inventory and Roman quickly pulled up its details.

"YES!" Roman clenched his fists and yelled. "This completely solves the problem of the Egg Hunt!"

Upon reading the description, Roman had his sights set on using the charm during tomorrow's hunt. He finally had to confidence to take on the challenge of the hunt and break through the shackles of the village. 

Roman's plan was finally beginning to take shape.

Roman figured that the system would equate to unparalleled advantage in the hunt, but was initially unsure of what plan to formulate in order to tackle the hunt. After all, the mortality rate for the hunt in the mountains was rather high.

With the charm, Roman would be able to quickly locate the gold ranked beast egg. Now all he had to worry about was surviving the journey and working through the problem of the other beasts in the herd that would be guarding the egg. But he intended to cross that bridge when he got there. 

Roman soon turned his attention back to the system.

Not forgetting the final lottery ticket, Roman repeated his actions.

The wheel once again appeared in front of Roman and he began the lottery process. 

Unlike the last time, the items appearing on the wheel had changed, making Roman assume that the rewards were randomized. He wasn't wrong. The type of items that appeared on the wheel were subject to some degree of randomness but was also reliant on the level of the ticket itself. 

For instance, a copper level ticket would yield items that might not be as applicable to Roman's immediate needs or desires. The divine level ticket just increased the odds of Roman's chances to attain an item that applied to his current situation. 

Think of it as probability. 

If the divine level ticket yielded 90% odds of the items that appeared on the wheel being applicable to his current circumstances and wishes, then a copper level ticket would only be at 5% odds. After all, a copper level ticket was just that much further from a divine level ticket.

In fact, Roman could have easily drawn a [Divine Search Charm] but was only able to amount to a [Gold Search Charm] in the end. Either way, even if Roman knew about this, he wouldn't flinch. He started off with nothing, and now his odds of reaching his goal of surpassing the limits of the village were increased exponentially.

Roman focused on the new items available for draw was the wheel slowed down once again, as it ultimately settled upon [Supreme Farming Package].

"What?" 

This time, Roman was at a loss of words. "Wasn't this supposed to be a taming system and not a farming system?" 

[Host seems to be questioning the logic of the system.]

Roman agreed with the system. It was simply ridiculous that Roman would receive an inapplicable item from the system.

Roman jumped to the conclusion that since the system technically would suit each world, that the system must have mixed up items from a farming system world instead.

[Host's logic is flawed.] The system began, causing Roman to get annoyed. He didn't appreciate being doubted even though he did dispute the insult out loud.

[Host is probably assuming that farming has nothing to do with taming, right? Well, wrong. Farming has everything to do with taming. In the art of taming and rearing beasts, one has to understand the intricacies of the dietary habits of their beast companions. This allows the tamer to ensure that the beast is raised appropriately and in good health.]

Some beasts were herbivores, others were carnivores. Well, you get the idea.

Roman finally began to grasp at what the system was getting at. But before Roman could chime in, the system continued.

[Host is required to grow certain type of feed for his companion beasts. Fortunately for the host, the [Supreme Farming Package] provided by the system enables the host to grow a particular kind of feed. This will make the host's life a lot easier. Please open the package and the host will understand.]

Roman did as instructed and once again pulled up his inventory to click on the package. 

Like the last time, the package appeared before him and displayed a [Supreme Farming] skill book, a hoe, a bucket, and a sack seeds. 

Roman proceeded to inspect the seeds after learning the skill. Only then did he understand what the system meant.

He was going to reach greater heights from now on.
"Right, I'll just read your fortune. Nothing too complicated." Lin Fan suddenly realized that something was amiss when he read Mr. Yang's fortune.
"What is going on? I thought I read that Mr. Yang had unparalleled luck? How did it turn into a smooth sailing life? This wasn't logical at all."
Lin Fan couldn't make sense of it, so he brushed it off. Maybe he'll understand it in the future."
Lin Fan took out his phone and accessed Weibo to catch up on the happenings around him.
"Damn. My fan base only increased by 6 followers? That's way too little." Lin Fan was disappointed. The name that he had was not too bad. Why didn't the number of viewers match up?"
Lin Fan saw two comments on his post.

Lin Fan's post had been there for just an afternoon, and there was already one person who wanted their fortune read. It wasn't a bad start after all
Lin Fan started calculating and reading his fortune following the data that the person provided.
The encyclopedia was awesome. Fortune telling was so easy with it.

"Oh? This person's fortune reading looks good. Looks like everything is fated."
Now wasn't the time to be in awe. Lin Fan immediately got on with sending a reply.
"Your desire to gamble will take control over you, and will make you bankrupt."
This wasn't too direct, but any sensible person could directly tell what it meant.
After Lin Fan made a few corrections, he sent out another Weibo post.
"Free online fortune readings, last two days!"
Lin Fan immediately closed his Weibo after he did that as he prepared to sleep. His fortune telling journey would officially begin tomorrow.
Lin Fan was so contented with the encyclopedia. It was almost a dream come true.
Lin Fan was like any other young person who wanted to get rich. However, he had to put in a lot of hard work to achieve that.
If he wanted to make a fortune, all he had to do was to take Mr. Yang's lottery ticket. After all, it was as simple as conning Mr. Yang of his lottery ticket after he had bought it. It wasn't difficult to pull off for Lin Fan, but it would be a major dick move if he did that.

"Who's that knocking on my door this early?" Lin Fan asked groggily.
"It's me, Old Man Tian!" Fraud Tian shouted from outside.

"What are all these things? There's even a compass in here!" Lin Fan was stunned as he saw all the fortune reading tools in front of him.
 
"You'll sometimes need to read people's Feng Shui. You can't do without all these fortune-telling gear."

Lin Fan stared helplessly. All these gimmicks were useless to Lin Fan. He was more interested in having his own shop. The biggest concern was the expensive shop rental prices in Shanghai.
Fraud Tian and Lin Fan were both broke. They had no capital, to begin with.

All the regular customers got the shock of their lives when they found out that Lin Fan had wanted to change profession.
Lin Fan's stall started becoming more crowded. All the people around him were trying to convince Lin Fan to sell scallion pancakes instead.
If Lin Fan had followed their advice and continued selling scallion pancakes instead of doing fortune reading, he would definitely be struck by lightning.
"Little boss, you can read my fortune. But you must make me a scallion pancake once you're done."
"Yes, that's right. I'll pay for the fortune reading and the pancakes but I have to get the pancakes."

Lin Fan felt like giving up after hearing all that. His scallion pancakes couldn't possibly be that good, could it?
"Guys, I'm really not going to make any more scallion pancakes. I'm just a fortune-teller now. If anyone is interested, please do try." Lin Fan said.
"Little boss, please pity us. We need your scallion pancakes. Fortune reading is a scam and it can't possibly beat your scallion pancakes."
"Yea! This whole fortune-telling thing is all just a hoax."
Lin Fan looked at Fraud Tian helplessly. If this were to continue, his fortune telling business would not survive. He might not even be able to fulfill his mission requirements.
A loud sound emanated from far away while the crowd was trying to persuade Lin Fan to continue selling scallion pancakes.
The voice sounded extremely excited.
"Little Boss…"
As Lin Fan turned to see who it was, the corners of his mouth curved upwards.
His savior had finally arrived.


I am Lin Fan and I've become a jack of all trades just because of a powerful Encyclopedia.

As he read the contents of the new quest, he felt like System was making fun of him.

As the door in front of him had opened, Zhou Lei walked outside 'coolly'.

There he saw his mother meticulously examining her daughter, Zhou Zhenya. Their father stared at his wife, his expression saying 'I told you so' with his tongue almost out.

As he saw this, Zhou Lei fixed his expression and walked straight to the bathroom. Everyone's heads turned over to him as he made his way. 

Opening the door and shutting it, Zhou Lei was hyperventilating inside the bathroom. 

Then System, who wanted to embarrass and humiliate its host for some reason, gave him another unreasonable quest that had nothing to do with becoming popular. 

Quest: Moan

Description: Peeing feels good, right? You gotta moan if you feel good...

Reward: 10 upgrade points, 1 lottery ticket

'Go to the bathroom? Act cool? Moan?!'

Zhou Lei now knew that System was definitely making fun of him, making him do things that would be embarrassing to do! If not, why else would System give out these random quests unrelated to becoming more popular at all?

After reading the quest given by System, Zhou Lei started urinating. As he did, he made a weird sound that barely resembled a moan.

"AaAaAaHh???"

"Congratulations for completing the quest. Reward of 10 lottery tickets and 1 upgrade point ready to be received."

As his weird noise passed System's requirements, he felt genuinely satisfied. 

'Wait... 10 lottery tickets?!... and 1 upgrade point?'

System suddenly notified him the exact same way as the last two times that there was a bug. Zhou Lei nodded as if he understood what was happening.

After putting on his shorts and fixing his expression again, he walked out of the bathroom. 

He entered the sight of every one of his family members. 

"Congratulations for completing the quest. Reward of -10 upgrade points and 1 lottery ticket ready to be received."

On the verge of collapsing due to nervousness, Zhou Lei stood still with the gazes of everyone in the room pointing towards him. 

System notified him of his reward. At first, he was delighted, but as soon as he read it in its entirety, he got depressed.

'Really? Negative ten? For Pete's sake, System, come on...'

The wide range of expressions one would expect to see on Zhou Lei's face as he went from being nervous to being happy to finally being frustrated in his mind was, in contrary, not present, as Zhou Lei's expression remained stoic and cool in front of all of his family members.

Zhou Jiahao was the first one to recover from the daze of seeing his son still in their home and immediately asked Zhou Lei. 

"Son? Why... why are you here?"

Zhou Lei stayed silent and went into System's lottery. 

'There's got to be something that can help me get out of this situation...'

As he saw the lottery, he immediately used one ticket, not caring about what prizes were available. As long as he got something that would help him in this situation, he would be satisfied.

"Ouro put 100,000,000 of my chakras regenerated into system points."  For a week while this happened he took a break from training and worked the violin.  After an hour he had enough for a gold skill lottery ticket.  He purchased it immediately.  The next gold ticket would cost him 500,000system points.  

 He wanted the secrets of sound ninjutsu.  If sound was truly an element that could be used, he wanted to create violin jutsu.  It was crazy but, he had a feeling it would be fun.  Though he wasn't training hard, his clones still worked at the earth release training.  While he slowly grew more proficient at his instrument.  Occasionally Hiruzen stopped by.  Sensei drank tea, while listening to Bastion's pitiful struggles with the instrument.  He knew the books by heart, read every music sheet, and placed his hands perfectly, but there were flaws still.  All the while Bastion gained system points. 
 
 After two weeks he had grown more skilled with the violin and stored exactly 3,360,000System points.  Once the had them he shut off the drain.  He bought a second gold ticket and purchased 5 silver tickets before his points ran dry.  The next gold ticket would cost him 50,000,000 system points.  

 He journeyed to the konoha library and read a few medical texts, took up a few books on metal forging, and even learned the basics for fire release training.  

An ominous feeling settled over the world a presence was approaching.  Something was about to happen, he could feel it creeping in.  

 After taking up the measurements, he began forging armor for his golem's body.  He was clumsy, and it was like someone stuck cast iron pots and pans on his golem, but it was only mark one.  Bastion was certain in 3 years he could make something more impressive.  With that he assigned five shadow clones to the job.  

 It had become apparent that in this lifetime, he wouldn't master the art of metal working.  Maybe in a few more life times.  He didn't bother purchasing any new skills, he would die soon.  There was another like him on this world, he could sense him clearly now.  For that reason he began to separate himself from sensei and the others.  They often asked him to do things with them and he refused them.

 Bastion reasoned that this world would do fine without him.  Hiruzen was around.  Sasuke had the eternal mongekyou and was loyal.  Naruto could use the rasengan with one hand and trained harder than ever to match Sasuke.  Bastion managed to walk all the way to the valley of the end when Kekashi stood in his way.  

 "Are you lost Bastion, the village is that way?"  Kekashi said.  Bastion looked at Kekashi and it must have shone on his face.  Bastion wasn't in his Golem.  He was standing with his fiddle in hand preparing to play.  

 "You shouldn't be here the village needs you.  I don't want you to die too."  Bastion said and lined the fiddle to play. 
 
 "No ones dying what's going on."  Kekashi said, the feeling of dread grew stronger, so Bastion began to play.  His song was full of long sad notes of a phoenix meeting the end.  Still he played even as a figure stepped out upon the water covered in a black cloak.  The sun was just beginning to set.  The figure looked at them with rippled pattern eyes.

An alarm buzzed. It irritated me so much. I lokked for it all over the house. Upstairs...downstairs...at last i found it. It was my dad's phone. I soon as I reached the phone I switched it off. But then there was another. I realized it was my mom's. Then there came another. I figured out it was mine. But yet again there rang another! Which one was it. It irritated me alot. My temper began to raise until...

I realised all the sweat i left was a mere dream.all along it was my alarm clock. All this long i was switching it off in my dreams. That's why it kept ringing. I smiled to my foolishness. I checked the time and it was 9 am. 'Perfect time' I thought. Carmen decide to go shopping at the mall. We decided to go together since me and Alex also had some shopping list to complete. so I had to get ready early. I headed for the washroom and got freshened up. Then I changed from my pyjamas to a black embroidered top with a pair of jeans. I let my black hair into a high pony and applied a layer of red lipstick and mascara.

Next thing I realized was that i got hunger pangs. I rushed downstairs to the kitchen to feed my appetite. when I tucked the fork on the fried egg my phone beeped. carmen texted me.

after I finished my breakfast it was 9:40. I still had enough time. so I decided to scroll through the news of Indonesia. There were many politician's news and yes I ignored all. But one of them caught my eyes. 

'Remarkable harvest by FDC (food distribution campaign) !'

I was curious, so I pressed the headline which took me to a website. I read the description further and it says that the amount of grain harvested in this year is so much that is can feed the whole country During a famine for a year! It is no surprise that Indonesia is the largest rice producer but this was shocking. 

wondered how did they manage? as I read furthermore I learnt they used Modern farming method in large-scale. then many thoughts came to my head, why did they use? when it shows negative effects on soil like depletion of nutrients, causing soil pollution and many more. are they predicting a famine? are they trying to quit farming for a year or so? several more thoughts tingled in my brain.

I was interrupted when I heard a bell ring. I realized it was 10 am already and Carmen came to pick me. I rushed to my room to collect my purse which had cash in it. Before I left, I hugged my parents and stole kisses from them.

After shopping and lunch, I headed to my mother's office to help her with her work. I do part-time jobs besides my studies. I am learning to become a detective. But I still play as an amateur detective in my locality. I have solved some of the cases for the local police department and got a little fame in the corner of local newspapers. most of the times I help in the police station to file some documents after my university as a part-time job. This month since the university is closed, I am working at my mom's office. Her name is Clair Argent and She works at the passport administration office. 

After working for several hours, instead of going home I drove with my mom to a grocery store for supplies. after some buying, we returned home. my dad had already arrived from his job. we sat together to have dinner. I had already told them about my vacation planning with carmen and Alex last night. and they were happy about me visiting a new place. and I am excited. I can't wait for Friday to come. 

"Julia, did you get the ticket from Simon?" my father Daylan Argent asked.

"yes, Carmen handed us while going to the Mall", saying so I went off to my purse to get the envelope of the ticket. I haven't touched it as I wanted to read with my parents. I share with them most of the things and since I am their only child.

I handed the ticket to my father and he read the departure, arrival, the place I was going to land...all those details given there. I tucked my head to it from his one shoulder side. followed by my mother from the other. 

after reading, I learnt that my fight is scheduled on Friday 10 am from Kodiak, Alaska to Jakarta, Indonesia. and we would arrive back on Friday at 5 pm. 

"Great, tell us all about it when you return." my mom winked.

"I will," I stated.

This feature essentially allowed him to make 'promises' or 'sacrifices' with himself so that he could be stronger in return. Interestingly enough, it doesn't just 'enhance' a skill as it can also 'evolve' the skill. For example, something 'enhancing' makes it sound it a basic Agility +1 becomes an Agility +2, but in actuality, it might become Agility +2 and for the next 10 seconds, the user can also use the Body Flicker Technique from Naruto. 

There was a certain amount of 'randomness' to the enhancement, but generally speaking, it is always better in one way or another.
