i can't write the synopsis the story just came out of my head and i just write it. I'm really sorry if this story is so bad because I'm not a writer, so I am very very sorry about this.

On the vacant lot, Jian Wushuang and the others were confused. They didn't understand what the Master of Dayu Palace had gathered the disciples of quick comprehension together for.
"I received an interesting arrangement of chess pieces on a chessboard in a secret land not long ago. There are in total of a hundred steps in the chess game and every step equals a test!"
"In other words, a hundred steps equal a hundred tests. Today, I'm going to use that particular arrangement of chess pieces on the chessboard to test the comprehension level of the inner disciples in Dayu Palace."
The Master of Dayu Palace finished and waved his hand. A huge game of chess appeared from nowhere in the vacant lot before them.
The most interesting part was that there were only black chess pieces, no white ones. There were a hundred black pieces in total.
Everyone on the vacant lot lifted their heads and looked at the chess simultaneously.
"This chess game?" Jian Wushuang creased his eyebrows slightly.
He remembered when he first came to Dayu Palace, the White Sector God once told him that Lord Wu Cang had been studying a chess game strategy intensively with the Master of Dayu Palace. Would it be the chess arrangement before him?
King of Venomous Worms in Jian Wushuang's body laughed when he saw the chess arrangement, "I see. It's this chess arrangement. No wonder it's said that it i meant for testing one's comprehension level."
"King of Venomous Worms, you know the origins of this chess arrangement?" Jian Wushuang asked.

Argghh, other have a gift to a tool or some power in order to develop. Me, I have a gift that let me be a normal guy in this anormal world. I have survive because my soul was a super soldier in my previous life.. Well, I was a mercenary, I was in some shabby deals.. So my soul develop some survival instinct that was my life saving in these 2 meetings with the damned War God envoy. Such a fanatic this dude..

From my first evolution, I meet this God envoy that laugh out loud like a crazy bastard. It was this moment that I learn that my gift  was one of the first abilities of the War God. It was an experimental's skill to prevent other God to bully him when he has not yet become a War God.. Then the envoy do not even bother to do anything to me.. From him, I need to survive a moment on this strange space. As I feel some pressure from the environment, I just use my UBS skill 1 time, and then I just wait to see the envoy to laugh at me...

And the second meeting, he needs to battle with me.. As no energies based attack can touch me, he use his physical strenght to overcome me... He seems to not mind if I die or not, he just plays with me at cat and mouse running... I try to avoid his attacks for 6 full hours, and then he was bored and he sends me back... Damned, he was a bully..

Then we have this world where I now believe that the Bad luck want to marry with me. Each month I had 1 to 2 Bad event a day, why but why... I was born in a peasant familly. All days were boring, I just see my parents feed me and make me sleep. No education from this world, they just teach me each day a word or two after working in plains. My parents were surprised from my maturity, but nothing else... Even when the village leader come to our little house in order to test my energies affinities.. It was just some trivial matter, and no surprise was detect in the result. In their eyes, I'll be another peasant guy that will work to help my parents when I'll be 5 years old...
If this life was only this, I'll be glad to use my free time to work my body.. But I can't, because each day, accidents came to my house as mouses to invade a granary..
One day was when my mother bath me, when she quit me for getting some clothes, a snake came out of the bucket of water like a ghost.. Where did this dude came from ? I don't know, but I cry with a loud sound that I can muster to my vocals. Meanwhile, I try to controle the snake head in order to prevent it to bit me.. My mother was afraid seeing this snake, she came back with a kitchen tool and try to strike the snake. My father then came at the moment and kill it with his hard hands... That was my 26th Bad event, and I don't know why my parents did not think of me as a jinx.. From my 3rd Bad event, they're now in their monitoring, I was always in their sight, fearing that something unexpect will happen again.

Then, I feel something strange that take me away. Pfff a teleportation, it will be a dude from a God envoy this time ?
My view is now near a graveyard, my first time here. In the middle of this graveyard, I see the War God envoy dude playing a game that like chess in my last world, but the board game is a cercle, with 3 pieces of 2 differents colors that were battling with some rules that I do not know. His opponent was a dude with a white monk clothes, I can not see his face.
I was here standing for 5 minutes, and nothing happen, these dudes do not mind me a bit, focused on their game.
Bored, like all events from this life was boring to me, so I move near them and try to understand their game.
After 3 hours, I think I know how to play this game. I don't know how, because, in my last world, I was never good at any game.. I was more focused on how to maximize my pocket money !
And from their gameplay, it seem that they were locked at a stalemate. But for a reason I don't know why, maybe my instinct or something I don't know improve my macro and micro view of a battlefield. Be it in this game or in real life.. And I see easily that I can win in either of their place.
Then an idea pop-up in my head. I don't like to be always on the defense, a passive defense until now. I need to change the pace of these Bad events.. And now an opportunity was here, I don't know why this situation was a Bad event, but I think if I don't do anything until this game end, something not good will happen to me and I'll be erased from this world ! Maybe one of this dude will be anger from loosing to other and in his state, he will take me as a scapegoat ?! The more I think of this, the more likely it'll happen.. SH.T..

"Really? Let's make a bet?"- The soul said with interest.
"Are you sure? I always win..."- The God was about to destroy the annoying soul for interrupting it but stopped when it heard that there was a bet.

"Yes"- The soul said confidently.
"What are your terms?"- The God said with curious grin.
"I am betting, that you don't know Everything. Like the true nature of this game or all of the information about the participants that are..."- The soul flickered and then froze in the Gods eyes.

The Gods eyes flared up as it went through all of the information it had.
"Four 'Gods' and four first timers. Each God gets a hero to represent them in a battle to decide who has to do all of the work to run the rest of this cycle of exsistence. The blessing are odd but fair, the skills and store upgradable are changeable, achievements are in order of difficulty and separated by domain. The heros... all come from similar world cultures and time periods. They all lived relatively normal lives...Well..."- The God thought about the information as it looked at the soul sitting in front of it.
"That one actually managed to interact with the Diety Rea hired to micro manage that universe. This soul just wanted to know if there was a way to meet a deceased childhood friend. Records of life...let's see...She was just a normal kid but couldn't confess her love before a friend died in a tragic accident. She then spent the rest of her life delving into mystical  arts to find a solution. The friends death records, let's see...Placed in the game now so there are no record yet. That sucks but it makes sense and the life records are clean. Every soul placed in this game is getting a second chance rather than being a set piece for someone else's paradise... The same as the first time I checked...I have gone through every possibility and combination of what ifs and conclude that, I WIN ..."- The light in the Gods eyes dimmed as time returned.

"...are going to be in this game"- The soul finished saying.  
"What do I get and what do you get out of this. I won't do it if I don't like the exchange"- The Gid said with a smile.

"If you know 'why' or 'how', to what I say then you win and I will treat you with the respect you deserve. If you don't, I win and you will treat me as your equal. I don't like being threatened with complete destruction afterall..."- The soul said succinctly.
"Fine"- The God said dismissively and with arrogance.

"*Clears non physical throat*, Before I ask you the question: Why haven't you wondered why I know that there are other contestants?..."- The Gods smirk froze and then its eyes opened wide. It couldn't find the right words to speak and just stared at the chaotic soul in shock.

"Just because you know all about a game doesn't mean other people should..."- The soul stood up and grandly said, "So, the question that I am asking for the bet is: Where do you think I learned about the information I learned?"- The soul froze once more as the God went over all of the information it had at its disposal.  Everthing from the time it first became aware of the state of absolute nothingness around it, to present day.
It could not find a suitable answer and actually took it's very first legitimate defeat to a mortal very calmly.

"I will let you choose your first blessing if you tell me how you know..."- The God was cut off once again.
"I will tell you how I know what I know if you also throw in an amazing starting point and a safety net. These changes will probably apply to everyone if you make an exception for me, knowing you. And before you try to haggle, I'm not going to tell you what you want for anything else..."- The soul said aggressively, from a position of power. 

"I cannot do that..."- The God measured what it could and could not do to change the game. It knew the extent of its power and knew that it was impossible to interfere with Life and Deaths game too much, Especially when Reality helped them

"It can be done. Just ask..."-The soul picked its non physical nose and flicked a star like booger to the side.
"Ask...Ask who?"- The God asked with a horrible sense of foreboding.
"Big G obviously..."- The soul said with a grin that made the God feel sick.

"Is...what...this...soul... said...possible..."- The childish God struggled to say. Big g was always there and if it wasnt it already knew what The God was going to ask. As such, the God recieved a quick response.
"Yup. As long as it's to balance the fairness of a game, a bet, or anything else, you can do anything..."- Big g's words transcended time and space and actually appeared in the God's memories as the first thing Big g ever said to it.

"I...I just Can't even...Wow...I did not expect you to know that one. You must be the very first...anything, to actually meet that one other than myself and the other Gods. 
"That would be one of four anythings my dear God"- The soul said triumphantly. 
"I would assume so..."- The God and chaotic soul smiled at one another and immediately had the same thought.
"I can work with this. I will give you and the other heros the option and give the other Gods the right to forge their heros setting. I'll change the game a bit as well...Now that know that one is involved and have more power I will make sure you are mine..."- The God said with an increasing sense of insanity.
"*Maniacle laughter*, Then I will win and have the right take your soul and do anything I want. You think you can just play me in the field of my domain, *More crazy laughter*. I was doing this before your exsistence was even concieved little soul..."- The God didnt say this but the soul roughly knew what it was thinking. The chaotic soul was the one who wrote and conceived the God in the first place.

"You want me to follow you...I will only do it if your plan works. If it doesn't, I want you to at least listen to me no matter what and assist me whenever you feel like..."- The soul asked with an unreadable expression.  Even the God could not figure out what the soul really wanted.

"Got you. I said it was my power but It is actually that one's. If you knew that, you wouldnt try a third time. Especially since you know what kind of exsistence that one is..."-Thd God thought, "...even the Four of us cant do anything to do against that one's wishes..."

"Fine. Now that I am stronger, it's not like you have a chance..."- The childish God said as they both smiled like psychopaths
