First of all, this version of Peter Parker is not Peter Parker himself. It is a different teenager who got reincarnated in his body. Jack Chastain was a typical 15-year-old high-school teenager... pretty average grades, a few friends, and conflicts with parents. There was nothing special about his life back then...

His main hobby was reading comic books and watching superhero movies as he used to spend most of his free time on these things. He was truly inspired by the actions of fictional characters and always wanted to become a superhero himself. Although he had a weak body and was constantly being made fun of at school by the bullies, he had a big heart and never surrendered. However, his courage sometimes leads to him having lots of injuries after getting beaten up by senior students.

The last time this happened was when he tried to defend one of his friends. Jude, the captain of the schools' football team was humiliating him in front of all of the students at a launch hall. Jack crept up to Jude from behind and hit him on the head with an elbow...

Jude fell down... there was complete silence in the hall as everyone was shocked that a kid nobody expected anything from dared to hit the schools' main man... even after all the serious injuries he'd endured, Jack did not surrender and had a strong will power.

Later that day, when he was returning home by bike, he was constantly thinking about what he had just done. He felt like he was a real superhero who managed to defeat a strong villain who was treating many students badly.

But... when Jack was in the middle of a crossroad a car hit him from the left at a high speed and Jack fell down with his head hitting the ground very hard and eventually started to bleed. 

It was a thief who did not stop when the traffic light was red because the police were following him. 

The last thing Jack saw in his life were police cars that were following the car thief...

"Where am I?" said Jack. There was nothing around him and it seemed like he was levitating in emptiness.

"You are in 'under heaven', a place where all of the young souls go before their future destiny is identified" said someone from the top... It was God...

Jack understood that his life had ended... at such a young age and with so many ambitions... 

He could not control himself and started crying.

"No..." he started crying. "Why did this happen now? During one of the best days of my life, I just had a turning point..."

God was able to see that Jack's soul was clean, that he wanted to protect the weak, and was always ready to help his friends... 

"It is rare to witness a person with such good intentions and ambitions nowadays" God said.

So, after a few minutes of thinking he said...

"I will let destiny make the final decision," God said.

"What does that mean?" Jack whispered.

Suddenly, a big golden coin appeared in God's hands. There were wings on one side and a skull on the other.

"Wings mean reincarnation, skull means death" God said, before tossing a coin...

"Wings... I guess destiny has the same opinion on you"

"Wait!" Jack shouted... he remembered how much he had suffered in the real world and did not want to experience that one more time. So, he said...

"I want to reincarnate in a fictional world... Can you send me to the comic world, please?" said Jack with a lot of hope in his words.

"I can, but... you have to know that there is no way back... and that you will not be able to return to the real world. Are you sure about this?"

"Yes!" Jack said confidently.

After that God came closer to Jack and pushed his forehead with his thumb...

Jake felt a strong pain in his head, as he woke up because of an alarm.

"Oh my god… that was just a dream" he said, before he understood that he was in an unfamiliar room… It was a small room that was full of superhero posters on walls, just like in Jack's room.
"Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow…" Jack whispered.

Then, Jack heard someone coming closer to the room. Woman of about 40 years old opened the door and said loudly:

"Come on Peter, you are late for breakfast!"

Jack jumped up to the window, where he saw a view on Queens, New – York. "Did she just call me Peter? Was that aunt May?" he was thinking.

"Wait… does it actually mean that I am… Peter Parker… the Spider-Man."

Typical teenager gets reincarnated as a Spider-Man and gets a chance to meet the Marvel world's greatest superheroes.

His aim is to become the greatest superhero of this world and he will use his knowledge as the key to defeating his enemies and people that face him during his journey.

These thoughts are more of just a concept than anything deep like the RE fan-fic idea. So these will be just a few short paragraphs compared to the last two. Now on any of my chapters in here, feel free to leave criticisms, because I'm not really thinking too in-depth so there's room for error.

Firstly, I know it's kind of overdone but BHNA. Yeah, yeah I can hear you typing furiously say it's cliche and there are too many already. But I'll say this, when was the last time you saw one of the many BNHA fan-fics last more than fifty chapters? Maybe once I've actually seen it happen, and it was one of those travelling the multiverse collecting harem members type of fan-fiction. Currently, A Knight's Will is taking place in My Hero Academia, and it's been better than that. But I'm ranting, you guys want to hear my idea. So, I was thinking that since the manga is based on western superhero comics, why not add in a Western superhero? Someone like Spider-Man or Captain America, maybe even the Hulk. There are loads of heroes who would fit in, so why not use them? (By the way, my personal vote is for Spider-Man) It doesn't even have to be the actual hero, it could be someone who wakes up in their body.

You know, while there are a few fan-fiction that use either DC or Marvel as a setting, they don't really bring much new content. Most will just make the MC a Kryptonian or Speedster, some may use Asgardian. I haven't really seen them use Saiyans or other anime races. So, why not bring a Saiyan into Marvel? Yeah, Saiyans are over-used, but it's for a good reason: They make characters strong, but not without effort. Sure, a low-level Saiyan can wipe out the population of a planet but if it's Marvel Earth, then there are plenty who could do the same.

I'm actually surprised that no one has done a Mass Effect fan-fic, there's lots of possibilities there. Especially if You want to change the endings of the original trilogy. Sure, it's a lot easier to use non-game fiction but there's a Halo fan-fic on the site right now, so why not Mass Effect?

So, those are just three short ideas for fan-fics. I'll try and make the next one a little bit more detailed but it will probably be a while.

So, I have these ideas float around my head constantly. I figured since I'm not using them, someone else could. If you read them and feel like writing about it, feel free. I'd rather focus on my own novel, so they are fair game for anybody. I'd love to read them if they are ever used.

Near 12 o'clock in the evening, Lin Rui is lying in bed quietly. Tom and Peter have long left, and his parents have fallen asleep next door. Today his 16-year-old birthday is perfect. However, there has been little progress in what Lin Rui has been planning.

"Hey! How can it develop to this point? 50,000 points of reward points and friendship, I should not hesitate to choose reward points!" Both hands grabbed two times on the head, and scrambled the earliest carefully prepared hairstyles. Lin Rui is helpless.

This is the story of a young man living in the world of Marvel who only wished to live a quiet and stable life but as fate would have it, fate had other plans for him.

It was late afternoon when the truck left the base with its new passengers.  Of those five, three had varying expressions of wariness, one looked laid back and arrogant with either overconfidence in himself or disdain regarding the six civilians he'd found himself stuck with.  Granted one was Chang Min, but most of those who'd interacted with the oriental man knew that he was a bit of a weirdo.  This man especially thought that this whole deal between them and the base was pointless; these guys should have simply been sent packing.  

The last fellow had sparkling, bright eyes filled with excitement and had absolutely no barriers raised it seemed.  He reminded Dexter greatly of Patrick, just much taller and happened to have olive toned skin and black hair rather than Patrick's pale, easily burnt skin and a mop blond curls, that had only become obvious over winter.  After all, there were no barbers amongst their group!

"Are we really going to be able to strengthen our powers?" This excited solider couldn't help but blurt out.  He earned eye rolls from the arrogant Lutz.

"Pfft," the man muttered beneath his breath.  "You really believe that?"

"And I take it that you do not?" Cole sneered.  He'd taken an instant dislike to the man named Thomas Lutz.  Chang Min has told him that this man had an earth ability, like themselves, but it was not strong.  Thus Chang Min had attempted to take him under his wing and teach him.  Just that fact alone made Cole somewhat uncomfortable, but to know that Chang Min's kindness was not only rejected, this man dared to continue to deny the help, pissed him off a lot.

"Please," the man's face twisted into one of ridicule, "I read my fair share of superhero comic books and manga as a teen.  I know the truth between reality and fiction."

"And yet, fiction became reality," Harry mocked, pointing out a zombie hovering by the roadside.  The monster barely had half a face left, it's skin peeled to reveal chunks of muscle and bone.  It's eyeless skull seemed to just stare at the passing truck, but otherwise it made no other movement.  In a way, this was more freaky that having zombies launch attacks upon them.

"We were like you," Dexter admitted aloud, thinking that it had been about a year since their fates crossed with the man who could be said to be at least half of their reason for surviving outside a large community like the American army base for so long.  "We had no belief either..."

"Except for Patrick," Harry chuckled.

"Yeah well, I'd say Patrick was open minded," Dexter ridiculed without any heat behind his words, "but he's just a kid at heart and more than willing to want to play hero.  Speaking of him as an example to prove you wrong," he directed his words back at the cynical Lutz, "Patrick didn't awaken any abilities at the end.  I added him to my squad... well I think I just felt sorry for him, seeing as he just really wanted to be useful to our original base.  Now I could say that he's an important member of our family."

"Family?" Lutz snickered, while Patrick number two, also known as Luke Marsh, looked a bit melancholy.  The other three glanced at each other, but their expressions varied.

"That's right," Dexter reasserted.  "The people of our base are my family.  So I would appreciate that you don't do anything out of line."  He held up his hand and condensed a ball of plasma in his palm.  The flickering sphere of lightning bolts naturally caught the attention of the soldiers.  "I am very protective towards my family, you know."

Their eyes remained unmoving, staring at his palm.  They also knew of others with lightning abilities, but none seemed as bright and instinctively dangerous as this tamed electric ball.  Luke's eyes began to sparkle anew, while the others became more on their guard.  Even Thomas Lutz lost a little of his previous composure.

The rest of the journey was made in silence... well as quiet as it can get with the hum of the engine and the clucking of caged birds.  The hens and rooster had black cloth tossed over their cages to reduce the disturbance they were likely suffering due to transport, so even if the creatures felt the rising tension in the air, fortunately they were not frightened to death by Dexter's display.  His 'family' would have killed him!

As the truck pulled up to the wall, the gates were opened as those on guard identified them and they entered their home base with an inward sigh of relief.  Arthur jumped out of the passenger side first even as Winston, who'd been driving commented lightly that they needed to find fuel before their next outing.  They hadn't completely drained the cars remaining in the village yet, but some contained petrol while others had diesel, so it wouldn't be long before they required a new source.

Monika was on the front wall with Eraj, though only the former held a weapon.  She looked rather relaxed as she called down to the men exiting the truck; "How'd it go?"

"You could say that we got more than we bargained for!" Winston joked as Arthur rolled his eyes before unlocking the back of the truck.  The first thing Monika and Eraj noticed was the sounds of like chickens, causing them both to smile cheerfully, but these smiles froze as five strange faces left the back of the truck with their friends.  

Before they could question anyone, Chang Min called up to them; "Is Master no longer patrolling the wall?"  Ren Zexian had been on duty in the morning, even seeing them off with an amicable nod and a wave of his sword, decapitating the zombie that tried its luck when the truck sped out of the gates.

"Ah, Ren heard about Dexter and Autumn's date," Monika grinned, "and he was taken with the concept."

Eraj's whole face seemed to brighten in awe as he added; "He leapt outside of the wall, self-handedly took on several troublesome zombies that we had been keeping an eye on all morning, then once things were more or less clear, he took off to find Nathan."

"Reckon he can convince him to leave the greenhouse?" Harry chuckled, while the others exchanged knowing looks and sly smiles.  The five soldiers were at a loss, but could only remain in the dark for the time being.  They were in foreign territory effectively without knowledge of the lay of the land. However, Faith, the woman of the group, felt the tension in her body lessen at the sight of another woman with a gun.  It showed that for all the testosterone displayed in the truck, they did not look down on women.  She inwardly sneered recalling a survivor's account of how some prehistoric specimens tried to take his daughter from him when he was living in a base that later fell.  There were hints dropped from those people that few surviving women ought to be gathered up and 'nobly protected' so that their wombs could be later used for repopulation (not in so many words of course).  That father had some nasty fire abilities and suggested the bastards see what happened if someone tried to touch his child!  Poor kid had been around thirteen, still a child herself, how could she be expected to raise another life at her age!  It was obvious what the bastards had been after!  Maybe it was no surprise that he didn't help defend the base as it fell, just fled to keep her safe instead.

As Monika had mentioned, Ren Zexian had thought that a date with his Nathan was a fine idea and while the other had no real feelings about the notion either way, it was not as hard to draw him from the garden and his beloved plants as might be imagined.  To check the condition of the flora in the abundant second garden was a wonderful idea!  Nathan had noticed some new plants that he had never seen before that time he had visited to plant vines and ivies, but hadn't the time to take stock and observe.  

His large sapphire eyes sparkled like the gems in sunlight as he examined what appeared to be a type of nettle growing in the shadows of the trees to the rear of the garden.  Ren Zexian watched on lovingly as the youth knelt down to look more closely, before sharing his joy with the older man with a bright smile.  "It looks like a normal stinging nettle," Nathan said excitedly, "but it isn't!"  Ren Zexian knelt beside him and was drawn to glance at the tooth edged, tender leaves, noting the ever so slight red edges of the leaves and stems, which reminded him of something that Long Wenwen once told him about nettles... what had it been again...

Twin softness brushed against his lips and he quickly snapped from his thoughts to see his Nathan's honest expression.  He didn't know what had come over his innocent love for him to be proactive at this time, possibly someone mentioned something in the house; there were very few secrets amongst the closely living men and women and Nathan had sensitive hearing, could easily pick up spoken things.  However, he wasn't about to pass up such a sweet gesture and gently cupped Nathan's jaw in one palm as he encouraged a repeat performance.

Kisses that had been chaste for so long had slowly become more over the past month or so; lips pressed together for more than a few seconds, tentative movement, a little opening of the mouth ready to deepen things further.  Nathan was honest, he liked the kissing and liked sharing the heat of the man who lay beside him at night.  When this man touched him, it felt right and safe.

But now, as Ren Zexian's tongue slipped from its confines to tease his lower lip, his first thought was to wonder why his physical state was awakening that first thing morning way, something he'd experienced a bit in his teenaged years and a bit more frequently of late.  But it surely shouldn't happen now, should it?  It was not morning now...

A bird leapt from the tree above startling the two men as the leaves rustled in its wake.  Ren Zexian instinctively glanced up to note that it was just an ordinary bird and sighed with relief.  However, Nathan stood suddenly and backed away from him some paces.  "Nathan, are you alright?" Ren Zexian asked him more calmly than he actually felt.  Had he pushed too fast this time?  He admitted to himself that coaxing Nathan took a great deal of patience, but even at his age, such wore eventually thin.

"I..." Nathan's cheeks had become rosy and his large eyes glistened with a sheen of water.  "I need to take a shower," he blurted out before hurrying away, leaving Ren Zexian to stare after him in a slight state of confusion.

Ren Zexian had lived 10,000 years, had experienced many things, had lived through many things.  That included the death of his own realm.  But what he never expected to experience was a zombie apocalypse.

The author had an idea when he ate delicious Italian pasta. But the pasta came from Arabistan? Although others say that the Arabs borrowed the idea from China along the Silk Road. One way or another, it would be great if Dara could use pasta as a subject for trade! "THERE'S SO MANY people out and about town!" Alice gasped, turning her head to follow a little boy that was holding onto a candied apple that had rushed past her.

"Yes," Wyatt beamed, his eyes pressed closed due to his smile, crinkling at the corners. "It's always rather busy in the capital of Gladiolum." 

A day after the ball, Wyatt had suggested bringing Alice around the town square to soak in the sights. He personally had to do a little shopping and thought that it would be a wonderful chance for Alice to grow more familiar with the capital. She had been living with the Ragans for nearly two weeks and yet she had barely even stepped out of the mansion's walls. It was best for young ladies to enjoy their time around town with friends. Being constantly cooped up in the study room with Charlie wasn't exactly an ideal situation in Wyatt's opinion. Of course, not that Alice had ever complained.

Strolling through the cobbled streets, Wyatt pointed out some of his personal favorite shops along the way. They passed by boutiques selling beautiful ball gowns, stores selling sparkling jewels, and even quaint little cafes that wafted out the sugary sweet scent of freshly baked pastries. However, while Alice acted as though she was very interested in those, he could tell that was all it was. An act. She simply smiled and nodded to Wyatt's words, not once asking to step into any of those stores like he had expected. Yet again she had him colored surprised.

Just the thought brought a curving smile onto his lips. The girl that his family had chanced upon was most certainly different from the rest of the girls in the capital. She stood out in such a way that there wasn't any spare place for the others to shine. She was the lone star now, a happy and proud resident of the Ragan household. While still suspicious of her origins, Wyatt couldn't help but admit to himself that he was growing fond of Alice Clemente.

"Are you not interested in any of the shops I pointed out?" He prodded. "Those are all famous names here in the capital."

"Oh!" Alice exclaimed. Wyatt watched with his practiced smile as the girl's eyes widened delightfully, eyelashes fluttering like a pair of butterfly wings under the golden sunlight. Her lips parted just a little in surprise before she quickly gathered back her wits, shaking her head politely. "They are all wonderful shops. I just… I don't have any money to buy all those things. Looking through the store window is more than enough."

For years Wyatt had worn the same smile on his face. It was his perfectly crafted mask made to shield his true emotions from the rest of the nobles. No matter what he felt inside, a smile was always the answer to dealing with those that had to be schemed against. However, every time Alice spoke or made one of her silly little expressions, he found his smiles to turn true as day.

"Let us go into that one, then." Wyatt pointed to a little bookshop down the street, a corner store with a gleaming bronze sign. "There are some things I wish to purchase."

Alice nodded. "Alright," she said.

Although her expression remained as still as possible, Wyatt still caught the slight twitch of her lips. The sparkles in her eyes practically screamed of her excitement. She couldn't fool anyone. Even the blind could tell that she was particularly eager to enter the bookshop. 

The little bell that hung above the door rang when Wyatt entered the shop. Inside, there were no other customers, simply a store clerk that had a book in hand. A pair of round spectacles rested on his crooked nose bridge, his eyes scanning the words at an immense speed before he licked his finger and flipped to the next page. At the call of the bell, the clerk looked up from his book, squinting at the door before rising to his feet. The book was placed pages-down onto the counter, a smile upon his lips.

"Master Wyatt!" The old clerk greeted enthusiastically. "I was wondering when you'll be visiting next. The books you ordered two weeks back are finally here." 

"Greetings," Wyatt replied fairly. "And thank you so much for your help with those. It's nearly impossible to find them anywhere else."

The old man waved, his cheeks reddening just a little. "It's no problem. Let me go get them for you." Shuffling towards the back of the shop, the clerk disappeared behind a dividing curtain.

"Do you come here often?" Alice asked, looking around the small bookstore with great interest. At random, she pulled out one of the books from the shelves, her fingers tracing the title of the book on the cover, feeling the indented words on the hard leather.

'History of Gladiolum. Volume III,' it read. Alice had seen a similar history book in Charlie's study room before. Making a mental note to briefly read through the contents of the book, she slotted the book back to its original position.

"Hmm, I wonder." Tapping a finger to his chin, Wyatt looked deep in thought. "I guess I do visit this store a little more than the average folk. They sell writing supplies as well as books and I run out of the former a little too often. Besides, this store is the only one in the capital that can procure rare and often out-of-print."

Walking a little further into the shop, Alice glanced through the assortment of reading materials offered. They had both fiction and non-fiction books in the store, leaning closer to non-fiction books. Most books were new copies, their covers still brightly colored while others were much older and encased in glass covers. Those books seemed old and tattered but the words were still in dark black ink, most likely having been re-written over so that it wouldn't be lost to time. 

The one that had caught Alice's attention was a purple leather-bound book that was almost as thick as a dictionary. The title of this book was written in bright, glittery gold in thick block letters. A small sign that indicated the price of the old tome was placed beside the book. Alice's eyes widened at the number of zeros, her head reeling back a little in surprise. She still wasn't sure about how the currency worked in Gladiolum but with so many zeros, the book was bound to be expensive no matter the exchange rate.

'The Theory of Magic. Volume I,' the title wrote.

"Are you interested in that one? Ooh, that's a pricey one." Wyatt's voice was right by Alice's ear, causing her to jump a little, her ears tingling from his breath. Stepping away, she held both hands to her chest, staring wide-eyed at Wyatt who looked as amused as ever.

"Just looking," she answered before firing back a question of her own. "How much is that book? I don't really know how the currency works here."

"See that symbol over there?" Wyatt gestured to the symbol behind the number as he spoke. "That's the symbol for our currency, 'fleuron'. That's the larger of the two units that we have in our country's currency. The smaller unit is known as a 'flois'. Ten flois equates to one fleuron. To give you an example of its value, five flois can buy you a piece of stale bread at the end of the day in the capital's cheapest bakery, maybe? Books, on the other hand, are usually five to ten fleurons, if it's a common title that can be easily found."

Alice gulped. Judging by the examples Wyatt provided, the currency here in Gladiolum seemed similar to the system she was used to. A single fleuron held as much value as a dollar back home and a flois would be around ten cents. Her hands were starting to feel clammy as she stared hard at the price tag of The Theory of Magic. 

"And yet this book is…" she trailed off.

"Fifteen thousand fleurons," Wyatt finished the sentence for her chirpily.

Fifteen thousand dollars.

Taking another step back, Alice no longer dared to hover near the expensive article. If anything had happened to it, she wouldn't be able to pay the store back for the damages incurred. She had never seen a book as expensive or even half as pricey. 

"Why is this book so… so…"

"Ridiculously priced?" Wyatt supplied. When Alice nodded numbly, Wyatt chuckled. "This is an ancient tome about magic. There are only five copies of this book that was ever produced. But if you're really interested in this book, there's no need for you to fork out such a hefty amount just to read it. We have a copy of it back in the mansion's library."

Flabbergasted and speechless, Alice blinked dumbly at what Wyatt had so casually revealed. Although she long knew that the Ragan mansion was a sprawling estate with many different needlessly fanciful rooms, she hadn't even thought to think that it might house precious artifacts within its walls. 

In Gladiolum, it seemed as though the gap between its people was wider than the ocean. The rich lived in heaven while the poor couldn't even afford hell.

"Why don't you take a look around the bookshop and see if there's anything that catches your eye?" Wyatt offered. "If we don't already have the book back home, I don't mind making a few extra purchases. It's the least I can do for dragging you out here with me on such a warm afternoon."

Alice's heart skipped a beat. She braved a step closer, momentarily forgetting about the book in the glass display case. Cupping her hands together as if they were in prayer, Alice beamed.

"Really? Any book?"

Wyatt's smile didn't falter. "There's no budget, if that's what you're asking."

Alice wasted no time. Her feet went scurrying across the dark wooden boards of the store, quickly scouring the bookshelves in search of any title that might help her or catch her fancy. Her fingers ran down the spines, quickly pulling out a few covers that had caught her attention, some fiction and some not. She had a feeling that most, if not all, of the non-fiction books were already available in the Ragans' library but there was no harm in bringing the books over for Wyatt to look through. These books will become her survival guide in this foreign world.

As the store clerk returned to the front counter, Wyatt slowly made his way over. However, he was still gazing in Alice's way, watching silently and bemused as the girl darted from shelf to shelf, climbing ladders and bending low in search of more. There were already over seven books in her hands and she only ever added more to the collection.

"My," the old clerk exclaimed. "I've not seen anyone so frantic for a good title since you first came to my humble store years ago. The old ladies at the bakery next block over will go mad once they hear that the young Master Wyatt is no longer single."

The white-haired man chuckled. "She's just a curious little bird my brother picked up a while back."

The old man shrugged, unconvinced, but he didn't say a word more on that topic. With a heavy thump, he placed three thick books onto the counter, the covers in the three primary colors. The titles were all written in gold, large block letters.

"This set was a little trickier to find as compared to your other requests but there you go. Though, Master Wyatt, don't mind this old man prying but are you sure you want to dabble in this subject? There's always a price to pay when you go against the laws of science."

"I can pay whatever price the world throws at me," Wyatt casually remarked. Picking up one of the books carefully with a gloved hand, he examined the old cover, grinning with satisfaction. "Besides, I'm just completing my collection. With these, the set will now be complete. There's no need to worry, sir."

"Oh well," the old clerk sighed, pursing his lips. "If you're sure, youngin. Let me wrap these up for you."

Tottering away, the elderly went to retrieve a few sheets of brown wrapping paper and some strings to bundle up Wyatt's purchases while waiting for Alice. 

Partially leaning on the counter, Wyatt continued to observe Alice. She no longer had the strength to carry the books she had picked out. Instead, she placed most of them on an empty table by one side. The stack of books was almost taller than she was and yet she continued to hunt for more, her eyes practically dripping with avarice.

'How peculiar,' Wyatt thought to himself. 'She is unaffected by fanciful dresses or glittering jewels and yet dusty old books can bring her into a craze. What an odd woman. She is most certainly a woman before her time.'

Gifted a candle that was said to be able to make wishes come true, Alice Clemente burned it that very night only to find herself in an unknown world the next morning. 

She had wished for a life of adventure away from the city and its routine. With her wish granted, she was whisked away to a world very different from the one she grew up in. 

Thrust into a new life, would Alice learn how to adapt? Or would she fall down the rabbit hole only to never surface again?
