The rest of the day we spent finishing homework and playing games until my mom texted me saying she was almost done cooking so we should hurry over. Before I even finished speak they were dragging me out the room and into the car we got there in record time, I'm starting to feel like they like my moms cooking more than our friendship. Lenny assured me that our friendship is more important but he had a faraway look in his eyes so I didn't entirely believe him but Eve quickly covered agreeing with him as we walked in the door.

It's chicken night so my mom mixed it up by making Parmesan Chicken Casserole, it's her best dish out of anything so I know they are going to enjoy it. Before my mom can say anything Eve and Lenny are already sitting at the table eager to start eating, seeing their face my mom lets out a soft chuckle. She doesn't really get to cook big family meals she was an only child and both of her parents passed away a year after I was born in a car crash. Going through the motions I set the table for four and my mom brings over the pan serving the food for everyone, she has the biggest smile on her face.

"Ahh I'm so glad you like my Cooking I've never met any of Josh's friends before so I haven't had the chance too." My mom sighs watching them gulf down the food. They both stare at me with a question in their eyes but I don't bother confirming or denying, I won't tell them that they are my first friends.

Back at my old town I went to another private school and when people found out my home situation the immediately avoided me so I spent my first two years of high school alone. Seeing as I'm not going to answer they look to my mom but all she can do is shrug and continue eating, while she eats she tells them stories about how I was before they met me. When we are done eating my mom takes out a homemade cheese cake and we all sit around tell jokes and laughing about how when I was in little I freaked out about my first day of school. It leaves Eve and Lenny on the floor holding their sides tears streaming down their faces.

"Oh Josh was just such a momma's boy always clinging to me when he was little I had to stay in the class until nap time before I could leave that day." She looks far off into her thoughts with her a small smile but the story just has them laughing more. "Oh that's right Josh, Ms. Steel from across the street needs a babysitter for tomorrow night and I figured since you aren't working you could watch her so I told her it was okay."

"Ms. Steel? What does she have to work tomorrow?" I question I didn't know my mom knew anyone around here.

"No she isn't working we became friends last week and we're going out for drinks cause it is the only time we both have off together. I hope that is okay." She says looking a little worried I might say no.

"Of course mom, go have fun I'm okay doing that for you." I smile, she needs more friends she doesn't really do anything since we got here so I'm glad she  has someone to spend some time with other than me.

"Alright I'll let her know right now, this is going to be so much fun." She squeals like a school girl rushing to go get her phone.

I just chuckle and watch her run to her room, Eve and Lenny watch her too laughing at her antics thinking the same thing I am. We spend a few more hour hanging out playing Mario cart and Super Smash Bros. Our two signature games, after they leave with leftover cheese cake, Thirty minutes later my phone chimes and I see that Eve started a group chat between us.

MyPrincessEve: Hi guys! I'm bored wyd?

Ness L: Eating cheesecake!

Me:Looking over a game..... Lenny you're going to end up fat smh.

NessL: I could die happy if I could eat this cheesecake every day I'm jealous of you :(

MyPrincessEve: Right I love your mom and her cooking..... it sucks we cant eat there again until Friday AHHH! 

Me: You guys are weird. Smh.

MyPrincessEve: pssh we're weird what's up with us being your first friends to meet your mom? Huh?

I didn't get sleep right away after I stopped talking to them I stayed up until about four a.m. playing my Nintendo Switch, if I had WiFi I would have invited them but I also wanted to be alone. Chugging down some coffee I try to drink as much as I can to wake myself up fully since I only got two hours of sleep, my mom would kill me if she knew I was drinking this. A notification sounds on my phone and it is a text from Eve telling me they are outside dragging my feet I put my phone on vibrate and go out and get into the car.

Seeing my drowsy expression they both laugh and let me sleep on the drive to school promising to wake me up when it is time to go to class, sighing a stretch out in the back lying on my backpack. This ride is probably our quietest ever Eve hums to the song on the radio while Lenny plays Legend on Zelda, I'm lucky to have them as friends they know when not to intrude and when I actually need quiet. Before I know it I somehow fell asleep and Eve is poking my face to wake me up while Lenny is laughing, yawning I scratch my head and drag my feet as we walk to the school. Since class is about to start I promise to text them during class and head off to physics, when I walk in Drew is sitting in the seat next to mine and messing around on his phone. Today's class is just finishing the labs from yesterday since Drew and I finished we sit at our table texting on our phones.

I smiled all through physics and I caught Drew looking over a couple of times laughing at our conversation, he would laugh when Lenny and Eve would banter about food and I couldn't hold back when they argued about the movie we are seeing on Saturday. When class is over I'm getting ready to walk out the door when I am stoped by Drew.

"Hey uhh I was wondering if it was cool if I sat with you guys at lunch... before you say anything I know you guys are pretty close so I'm okay if you have to ask them first just let me know..." with that he leaves me his number and takes off to his next class I'm left there in a daze but after shaking my head I leave those thoughts behind and walk into to my next class.

Texting Lenny and Eve I don't notice when I bump into someone lucky they keep their balance so I don't make the mistake of reaching out for them, but surprise it is Bethany again. With a quick apology I move past her and head to English class, in class we cover some nonfiction books that are required for us to read by the end of the first semester we have to read three and turn in a report. I now agree with Eve about English being boring so I text her an apology and warn Lenny since he has it next but he just thinks we are being babies, he will see while we can still text I tell them about Drew.

I send a quick text to Drew apologizing then start reading about Steve Jobs and his creation of Apple, it's not part of the list but we get to read one not on it so I'm going to start with this one.

When it is time for lunch I just buy a couple of light snacks from the cafeteria then wait at the usual table for Lenny and Eve to show up, as always Lenny shows up first and scoffs down his sandwich before going off about English. When Eve finally shows up she is blushing and giggling like a little girl who has a huge secret after a quick glance at each other Lenny and I start our investigation about what happen to her.

"Spill the beans girlie, why so happy?" I inquire

"It's nothing. Like you said sometime people need to keep private things to themselves." Eve refutes back to me.

"Oh so our Princess does have a secret." Lenny sings. Quickly bringing out his phone under the table he shoots me a message just between us and we send guess back and forth, finally settling on her liking a guy.

"What are you guys doing?" She ask looking between the two of us.

"Nothing!" We say in unison laughing and then we start playing the Switch leaving Eve to happily giggle by herself lost in her thoughts. We don't address what we are both thinking but I know that Lenny definitely likes Eve but is holding himself back because we just met and he doesn't want to ruin our friendship.

"Hey by the way I'm not riding with you guys home I have to do some personal things." I say trying to give them some alone time together, both of the look at me in unison Eve loses her smile and blush and Lenny looks like he wants to say something but doesn't comment.

"Okay we need to address this whole privacy thing. I count you two as my best friends so I want all the secrets gone." Eve says her face falling more looking at us intently.

"No secrets here." Lenny says holding up his hands trying to appease her.

"Same," I state, "I just have a lot of running around to do plus go to the social security office so I didn't want to bore you guys with the wait." Making a bald face lie I keep my face straight look her right in the eye.

"Are you sure?" She doesn't sound convinced but let's me off when I cross my heart.

"So since we aren't keeping secrets why were you smiling and blushing earlier." Lenny asked.

"Ummmm well that has to stay a secret." She says shamelessly.

"Shame shame." I say shaking my head Lenny agrees with me.

The rest of lunch we go back to normal laughing and playing games, to mix things up we actually get school work done and help each other on various things before we all start reading for English. The rest of the day is uneventful besides Bethany and I actually working together again on our packet without fighting or ignoring each other but I wouldn't call us friends maybe just actual partners in class. When the day ends I send a quick text to Eve and Lenny telling them I will see them tomorrow, hopefully without me there Lenny will work up the courage to make a move. On the bus I get off near a Starbucks and head inside hoping to buy a muffin before I head home, as I walk in I end up bumping into someone who is leaving and her coffee is spilt all over my shirt. 

"Shit! I'm so sorry." Her voice is raspy and attractive matching her looks she is probably in her mid twenties, redhead, green eyes and a killer body.

"Don't worry about it I should have been watching where I was walking, let me buy you a new drink." I offer.

"Ummm I'm kind of in a rush but here," snatching my phone she puts her number in then calls her phone, "I will text you later and we can work out dry cleaning and you can buy me that coffee."

After that like the wind she was gone and since I was still soaked from the coffee being spilt on me I turn around and head home so I can change, when I get the my mom is dancing around the living room with two other people. A little girl is bouncing around her hair flailing in the air smacking her in her face while she laughs while she bounces around copying my mom. The older lady is dancing along grabbing the little girls hands and making kissing faces at her, causing the little girl to laugh harder and my mom to join in it looks like fun. The little girl is the first to notice me and she bounces over and grabs my hands asking telling me to join in, not one to disappoint I start dancing wildly which makes the little girl break out into fits of giggles which makes her stop dancing.

"Oh Josh you're home early. What happen to your shirt?" My mom questions picking me out another from my clothes and tossing it to me.

Pei Zhen gave the script a casual glance. Obviously, Fu Sichen had done his homework—notes littered the document, a few lines even marked by a red pen. He took one look and was almost hooked.

 He was particularly aiming for Nintendo since it was another future successful company. 

Besides, he doesn't need to build the games himself by that point. With all that time, JARVIS should be able to design such a basic game. 

Another company he started acquiring is Lucasfilms, since Disney was already partnered with Stark Pictures, Tony did not prioritise getting it. 

Lucasfilms on the otherhand should be starting production of Star Wars. George Lucas was probably going in the red for that films since the company just started. It was the best time to buy it. 

They were about to get their funding from some company when Stark Pictures swooped in to acquire their company with the production funding. 

He got his father to purchase the company since he read the novels before and heard of the company producing the films. He even offered the money from the game profits just to prove he is serious. Atari was successful and with Stark Industries producing all the hardware, there was more profits than what they should originally get since the subcontracts were all gone.

Since Howard did not manage Stark Pictures that much now anyway, he decided to allow Lucas full creative control. The only demand was to check the final product before showing.

Since Tony was also present in the negotiation, Tony decided to add another demand. Tony wanted to cameo as R2D2 in the franchise. Sure with Tony's skills he could just build an actual R2D2 with matching C3PO, but he wanted to build some fame. To be added in the credits at the part which actually mattered, he needed to be someone that is in the main group. 

On the dark side, Tony wanted to use this as a diversion since people were starting to get suspicious of him.

Some time ago 

Tony got a prompt for communications from Zola to his public computer. Tony did not usually get any contact from the AI so he decided to answer it.

ZOLA: Master Tony, I would like to report to you about your current safety. There are some Hydra agents who want to kidnap you due to your father's bragging. They are even consulting me for mind-control training just like for the winter soldier program.

Tony: Thanks for the update, if there is nothing else urgent then you should return to text communication.

ZOLA: I suggest you lay low for now. That is it Master Tony. Goodbye

Tony returned to setting up stuff.

Other than for cover, Tony also wanted to slip into Wakanda. With his current body, he can't just go to a plane and ride to Africa as a baby. Even with fake identities he created using Hydra he was just not going to be able to sneak out to Africa.

He can't exactly tell Steve either due to him warning the guy to not mess with time so much.

Plus, Tony would create his own light saber later. He wanted to be able to have an excuse to bringing a light saber everywhere. Getting to tell people: "I was R2D2, I am supposed to be carrying a light saber everywhere" would be the most eccentric reason any normal person would accept.

With the miniaturisation tech and a miniture arc reactor almost completed, he only needed to work on restricting the laser and he would have his own working lightsaber. Though he should also work on powerful miniture speaker. If he waved the lightsaber without the sound effects, he might look stupid.

He got the small arc reactor ready.  It was still the size of the original circle chest arc reactor since he did not try to miniaturise a full sized arc reactor.

There might be effects in the quantum side of the process and create some accident. He is still delaying this until he got full understanding of the miniaturization process. 

At least he already had the ant man suit and pym particles working. Reverse engineering a working sample would be easier than researching from scratch.

Tony started using the research data in the UGIN project to produce his own stem cells.

UGIN would be producing simulacrum later on but right now, stem cells is his option for body repair. It can't repair bodies without a scratch but that did not matter since this was only for emergencies.

Howard finally completed design of the new element. This was the event Tony was waiting for.  He could finally tell his family and make his life less complicated. 

Tony and Steve talked to Howard,  Maria,  Jarvis,  and Peggy. Since Howard and Peggy already had an idea,  it was easier to do it straight. 

They were informed about the reincarnation and time travel. Steve let Tony explain how their timeline worked. Though Howard was the only one able to follow the explanation. 

They were also informed about Tony needing to be treated coldly by his father from here on out. 

Tony got to explaining things with his father on how he never got taken seriously or recruited by any secret organization due to him being a rebellious teen.

That only way he would be able to grow safely is if people think he was a spoiled rebellious teenager. 

Since his parents were close to this Tony than the original, it took them revealing a bit about Hydra so that they would follow the plan. 

They were told about the monitoring and how Tony was in one of the target list due to his closeness with his father. 

Though reluctant,  everyone cooperated since they were still subconsciously treating Tony as a baby that was under the crossfire.

At the same time,  they also publicized events such as Tony also started building his own circuit board. 

 This event would had increased the stock price of SI. It also started hinting at the older Stark treating Tony as some asset. 

Everything was going to plan.  Tony even discovered that clone chakra is now shared by other clones after getting dispersed. He can't find any reason other than his body still developing.

 He might later be able to create a shadow clone that can last indefinitely. For now though,  he can only maintain one clone with chakra replenishment, the chakra return from the clone was just that inefficient.

Still 1974

Star Wars started filming and Tony got to go to Africa.  He of course got Steve as his bodyguard otherwise no one would allow him to go to the place. 

A super soldier created by the military using billions of dollars of research.

"We have arrived," Hiratsuka looked at the office. She had heard that his game was very popular right now. 

"Thank you," Yuuki said. He didn't expect her driving skills to be very superb. 

Hiratsuka looked quite disappointed when she saw that he didn't look sick or pale, "Why are you okay?"

Yuuki looked at her weirdly, "Do you want me to puke or something?" He looked at her and said, "I'm quite good at driving cars, do you want to drive with me?" 

Hiratsuka raised her eyebrow, "Is that a challenge?" 

Yuuki nodded, "You can interpret it like that." 

"Sure, interesting, what is your bet?" Hiratsuka asked. 

"What do you want?" Yuuki asked. 

"I want you to help me with something," Hiratsuka said. 

"What if you lose?" Yuuki asked. 

Hiratsuka looked at him and asked, "What do you want?" 

Yuuki thought for a bit and said, "I want you to kiss me." 

"Eh?" Hiratsuka was startled and blushed. 

"What is it? Are you afraid?" Yuuki tried to taunt her. 

Hiratsuka became riled up and said, "Good, let's do it, I'll kiss you when you win the race match." 

Yuuki smiled, "I can't wait for that." He thought for a bit and said, "Now, that I think about it, you're kind of a bad teacher since you want to race with your student." 

"Shut up!!!" Hiratsuka became red. 

Yuuki got out of the car and said, "Thank you, Shizuka." He walked toward the office. 

Hiratsuka lit her cigarette and said, "Dummy..."

Yuuki entered the building and went to the receptionist. 

"B - boss!!!" 

"Hey, where is Hazuki?" Yuuki greeted her. 

"Ah, Hazuki-San is inside," the receptionist said. 

"Thank you," Yuuki nodded and went inside. 

"Boss!" 

"Boss!" 

"Boss!" 

Yuuki didn't wear his glasses in this office since there weren't that many people inside. He went inside and saw Rossweisse was there. 

"Rossweisse," Yuuki called. 

"Yuuki, you're here," Rossweisse walked toward him with a smile, "Let's go, let's talk about the meeting." 

"Good," Yuuki said. He needed to know the data of total sales of pokemon.

Rossweisse guided him to the meeting room while calling some core members of the company. 

Kou, Rin, Umiko, and Hazuki were entering the room with a quite exciting expression. 

Kou was excited about the new project. 

Rin wanted to tell him about the sales of Pokemon. 

Umiko felt her hands were quite itchy since her job was done. 

Hazuki was excited when she saw him, "Boss, congrats on your winning in the Summer Music." Her face was red and she couldn't help but wanted to jump toward him right away, "B - boss, I can't help myself." She jumped only when she was shot by Umiko. 

Bam! Bam! Bam!

"Thank you," Yuuki said with a plain expression. 

"Don't worry, it's my job," Umiko said. 

'Is it your job to shoot her?' They wanted to say that out loud but decided to stop it since it would become complicated. 

"Now, let's start our meeting," Yuuki said. 

"Alright, please listen to my report on our Pokemon," Rin said. She told him that the game was really a big hit. The game had already sold 3 million copies. 

Yuuki was a bit surprised with the numbers and it was only a few days that the game had been sold.

"Oh, the CEO of Nintendo is also happy that our game increased the total sales of his game consoles, and he told us to create another Nintendo game," Rin said. 

"Hmm, we can talk about that later, let's talk about our next project," Yuuki said. He had a share on Nintendo but he wanted to create other games though. 

"Are we going to make Pokemon again?" Kou asked. 

"Yeah, the sequel 2 of this games will be a hit too," Rossweisse said. 

Yuuki was thinking until something popped up on his head.

'First-Person Shooter, huh?' Yuuki was familiar with this game and he also understood that this world didn't have this kind of game. He was wondering whether he would be the first person who developed this game. He looked at them and said, "No, let's create another game." 

"Really?" Umiko looked at him and said, "Hazuki has created a lot of game plans, do you want to see it?" 

"Yes, boss, I'm working really hard," Hazuki looked at him with tears. Her head was still swollen after she was shot by her. 

"Hmm, I'll check it out later, but right now, I'm thinking of making a first-person shooter game," Yuuki said. 

"First-person shooter game?" They looked quite confused. 

Umiko, who was a fanatic in soft guns, became very interested when she heard about this first-person shooter game. She thought that this would be a game of guns or something. 

First-person shooter (FPS) is a video game genre centered around gun and other weapon-based combat in a first-person perspective; that is, the player experiences the action through the eyes of the protagonist. 

Yuuki explained to them the concept of this game. 

They nodded and felt this game was quite interesting. They could imagine they had become a soldier or mercenary in this game. 

"Good, let's make this game, boss!!!" Umiko was excited when she heard about this plan. 

"The concept is good, but what about the plot of this game?" Rossweisse asked. 

Yuuki thought for a bit. He couldn't use the help of the system to make this game. He tried to remember the popular FPS games in the past. He looked at them and said, "Alright, let's make the Left 4 Dead." 

"Left 4 Dead?"

Maybe I'll full of energy to write your favorite fanfic.

Don't let the title fool you. This isn't about statistics at all. Well actually, it kind of is, but it's more about my statistics class with J. We were in the same statistics class our senior year of high school, and I think that's when we really developed our friendship. 

Before class would start, I would already be in my seat during passing period. That's the kind of student I was, the one who always showed up early to class. Yeah, yeah, teacher's pet and stuff but that's another chapter for some other time.

But every time J walked through the door, I could feel myself light up. I was always happy to see him. J would walk in and sit behind me, then pull out his Nintendo or his phone and show me what he's been doing with Pokémon and FEH. And he always explained to me what was going on because I never grew up with those kinds of things. Occasionally, he would have me do some fun stuff with his games, such as pick a character type to get in FEH or move around the battlefield in the game.

The fun times never ended; he taught me a lot of different things and introduced me to things I've never experienced before. Most of all, he made classes fun, at least for me. And showing me the fun things he was doing on his phone or his Nintendo was only the beginning of what he did for me.

I'll never look at math the same way again. 

Nor will I ever be able to remember why a+b=1 but b isn't equal to 1-a (1). What the heck, when will I ever need this stuff? But don't let the "you'll never have to use what you learn in high school in real life" speech fool you, especially you high school students out there; life comes at you in weird ways and I'll probably have to use statistics again someday. But at least I'll be able to remember enjoying math because of J.
